TRAINING ATTACHMENT
The invention relates to small arms. A training attachment comprises a housing having an element for fastening to a combat or dummy firearm, a barrel for a projectile, spring-loaded elements for feeding, ramming and storing a projectile, and gas channels. Lightweight elements, for example airsoft or paintball pellets, are used as the projectile. A shot is fired using standard blank cartridges. The technical result is the firing of a projectile from a combat or dummy weapon with negligible energy during tactical drills with assessment of aim and hit accuracy.
The present patent application is a National stage application for the PCT application PCT/RU2019/000135 filed on Feb. 28, 2019, which claims priority to Russian patent application RU2018104049 filed Feb. 2, 2018, all of which are incorporated herein by reference in their entirety.
FIELD OF INVENTIONThe invention relates to small arms, namely to muzzle devices that allow the use of combat and dummy small arms for training purposes.
BACKGROUNDKnown sleeve for the blank shooting of firearms, comprising a housing with a mount to the weapon and an additional sleeve with a central hole, the additional sleeve is made with the possibility of self-regulation of its position relative to the housing, and on its outer surface from the side of the attachment to the weapon is made a cone, mating with the conical surface of the barrel or flame arrester, while the housing and the additional sleeve form a self-aligning system relative to the cone of the barrel or flame arrester (see the Russian Federation patent N 2186314 for the invention, IPC F41A 21/32 (2000.01), Dec. 18, 2000)—appearing prototype of the invention.
This sleeve for the blank shooting does not allow you to shoot a projectile; therefore, it is not possible to assess the accuracy of aiming at the time of the shot, which reduces the quality of tactical training using small arms.
The objective of the invention is the creation of a training attachment, which will allow the use of combat and dummy small arms for training purposes with the ability to assess the accuracy of aiming and hitting.
SUMMARYThe technical result when using the present invention is the firing from of combat or dummy firearms of a projectile with negligible energy, acceptable for tactical training.
This technical result is achieved by the fact that the training attachment is used with a weapon in conjunction with a blank cartridge and lightweight projectile. The training attachment comprises the housing with the element for attaching it to a weapon in its muzzle, the barrel for projectile, output channels for the removal of most of the powder gases, the gas channel intended for the passage of a smaller part of the powder gases acting on the projectile, the element for projectiles storing, the projectile rotation element, the barrel narrowing element, the expansion chamber, return spring and rammer.
The invention is explained by a drawing.
- 1—housing;
- 2—element for attaching to a weapon,
- 3—barrel for a projectile,
- 4—element for projectiles storing,
- 5—projectiles,
- 6—the projectile rotation element,
- 7—gas channel,
- 8—return spring,
- 9—rammer,
- 10—expansion chamber,
- 11—element for narrowing the bore,
- 12—output channels,
- 13—barrel of the weapon.
Training attachment works as follows.
The attachment housing 1 is placed on the barrel of the weapon 13 using the attaching element 2, the projectiles 5 are placed in the element for projectiles storing 4, the projectiles using the feed mechanism located in the element for projectiles storing are fed into the barrel of the attachment 3. At the moment of a shot from a weapon with a blank cartridge, the powder gases, passing the element of narrowing the bore of the weapon barrel 11, fall into the expansion chamber 10 and act on the rammer 9, which, moving, blocks the access of the next projectile to the attachment barrel, the smaller part of the powder gases passing through the gas channel 7, ejects the projectile 5 from the channel of the barrel 3, while most of the powder gases are discharged through the output channels 12, after that, the rammer 9 returns to its original position by the return spring 8, the next projectile falls into the free channel of the barrel 3 and the cycle repeats.
The attachment barrel is made as a single unit with the weapon or installed separately; the barrel can be smooth or rifled. The element for projectiles storing is a container, or a magazine, a holder, a turret type drum, a disk that can be removable or not. The container is equipped with a rotary projectile feeding mechanism. The container is a hollow cylinder, on the inner surface of which a spiral channel for projectiles is made, and in the center there is a rotor driven by a cocked flat spiral spring. The container is equipped with a locking mechanism to prevent projectiles from falling out, in a position disconnected from the attachment housing if the container is removable. The projectile rotation element can be adjustable, that is, for example, have an adjusting screw located in the housing above the rubber or silicone element interacting with the projectile and making it rotate. The gas channel is intended for the passage of gas, which acts on the projectile and throws it out of the attachment barrel. The gas channel may be combined with a rammer, or may pass separately in the housing. Also, the gas channel can be made partially in the rammer, and partially in the housing or other element, with the possibility of overlapping and opening in a certain position of the rammer. The expansion chamber is formed by a cavity in the housing, between the narrowing element of the barrel of the weapon and the rammer. The element of narrowing the channel of the barrel of the weapon is necessary for using the training attachment with combat weapons, for the operation of automatics weapons. The element of narrowing the channel of the barrel of the weapon, depending on the implementation, can perform a distribution function for powder gases. The output channels are designed to exit most of the powder gases. As projectiles, light throwing equipment is used, such as 6 mm airsoft balls, paintball balls (with coloring liquid), or any other throwing equipment. At a projectile speed of about 100 m/s, and having a projectile mass of about 0.2 g they receive muzzle energy equal to the game weapon, which is acceptable for tactical training. The technical result has been achieved.
