Hair Dryer Nozzle Neck Brush

My invention relates to a hair dryer nozzle with bristles protruding from the mouth is for blowing and wiping off cut hair from the nape. It is placed onto the end of a hair dryer and cold air is turned on after. Pointed toward and having the bristles touching the nape, a left to right motion is done with the hair dryer while the cold air is being blow through to the nape and bristles are touching the nape. The bristles give an extra function of wiping off hair when needed such as in a case that the cut hair is wet. The invention is cleaned by washing thoroughly with soap and water and then using ultraviolet light shining onto the brushes.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the art of cutting hair a neck brush is used to remove leftover wet hair from the nape after a haircut. When barbers and hairstylist cut the hair of their clients, there is a leftover hair that remains on the nape. The only traditional method of removing hair from the nape is using baby powder and a neck brush at the same time and wiping the hair off the nape. I have been doing hair for 22 years and in my experience, I have always found to have difficulty removing the hair with this method. Specifically, when cleaning up the hair with the traditional method, there is a white residue left on the nape due to the baby powder and that baby powder residue can get on the client's clothes which stains the clothes and leaves a baby powder smell on the client.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

My invention solves the problems that the traditional method described in the background of the invention has. My invention, The Hair Dryer Nozzle Neck Brush, is a hair dryer attachment that combines 2 different tools used in the art of hairstyling into one that blows off and wipes the hair from the nape. The Hair Dryer Nozzle Neck Brush employs nylon bristles protruding from a nozzle, as shown in FIG. 1, which is attached to a typical hair dryer's end where the air comes out from the hair dryer as shown in FIG. 2. The air from the hair dryer is then going through the nozzle and with the nylon bristles on the end of the nozzle the barber or hairstylist can wipe the hair off the nape while at the same time the hair is being blown off the nape also as shown in FIG. 3. My invention is unique due to it being baby powder free, extremely easy to use, easy to sanitize, easy to attach onto a hair dryer, and is very efficient in removing hair from the nape due to its double actions of blowing and wiping the hair off. Cleaning and sanitizing of the Hair Dryer Nozzle Neck Brush is simple and done by only using ultraviolet light on it and washing it thoroughly with standard liquid soap. My invention's operation goes as follows; the user installs it onto the end of the hair dryer where the air comes out as shown in FIG. 2, then the user points the hair dryer at the clients nape, after then the hair dryer is turned on with cold air and a high air setting, lastly the user brushes the nape of the client by moving the hair dryer left and right quickly as shown in FIG. 3. The purpose of my invention is to blow and wipe off hair from the nape of an individual or a client that has left over hair from a haircut on their nape. One object of the invention is to dry the nape and wipe the hair off at the same time with one hair dryer attachment. Another object of the invention is to make drying and wiping off hair from the nape baby powder free. A further object of the invention is to be easy to sanitize and clean.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 shows the invention in its entirety with the bristles protruding from the nozzle.

FIG. 2 shows the invention attached to a hair dryer.

FIG. 3 shows the invention attached to a hair dryer in current use on a person's nape to wipe and blow cut hair off it.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

My invention, the Hair Dryer Nozzle Neck Brush, is an improvement invented on the nozzle attachment of a hair dryer. The invention itself is a nozzle for blowing hair off the nape with bristles for wiping hair away from the nape in an efficient way and 3 holes on the left and right side on the nozzle that allows airflow through them. The specific improvement is that bristles are protruding from the end of the nozzle and can used in a way that improves the effectiveness of using a hair dryer with a nozzle to blow hair off the nape due to having 2 ways of taking the hair off the nape, blowing it off, and wiping it off at the same time showing why my invention is an improvement on the nozzle and adds to it with an extra function. The best mode of carrying out my invention is as follows, first attach it to a 45 mm air exit that is found on professional models of hair dryers vertically, meaning that looking at the hair dryer from the top of it you can see the bristles going vertically out of the nozzle, then point the hair dryer with my invention attached toward the nape of the person who needs their nape cleaned of hair, after turn the hair dryer on with a cold air setting, next wipe the hair off the nape with the bristles, then turn off the hairdryer when finished and cut hair is no longer seen on the nape, lastly take the Hair Dryer Nozzle Neck Brush off and clean very thoroughly with UV light and soap and water. Making my invention is done by having a professional hair dryer nozzle, which is 46 mm diameter that is made to fit professional models of hair dryers with an outer diameter of 45 mm at the air exit, nylon bristles are molded into the 4 sides of the plastic where the air goes out of the nozzle at a length of 60 mm for a bristle and a thickness of 0.17 mm, and lastly having 3 air exit ports on both the left and right sides of the nozzle.

Claims

1. A hair dryer nozzle has the purpose of concentrating air and allowing the air to be blown through it to a smaller area to be used for various reasons such as drying or straightening hair and the purpose of a neck brush is to wipe away cut hair from the skin, the improvement comprising is a hair dryer nozzle that has bristles built in to the mouth of the nozzle to be used as a attachment with a hair dryer to blow and wipe the hair off of skin at the same time with the same tool.
