The present disclosure relates to a footwear such as a sandal which is replaceable of an instep belt in color, material, etc., and an inner sole and an outer sole in color. An outer sole of the sandal has a first hook-and-loop fastener joined onto an upper surface, and an inner sole has a second fastener joined onto a lower surface. An instep belt has third and fourth fasteners respectively joined onto left and right parts in a front surface, and has fifth and sixth fasteners respectively joined onto a back surface. The instep belt is detachably joined to the inner sole, through the fifth and second fasteners, and the sixth and second fasteners. The instep belt and the inner sole are detachably attached to the outer sole, through the third and first fasteners the fourth and first fasteners, and the second and first fasteners.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present disclosure relates to a footwear such as a sandal.

BACKGROUND ART

A footwear such as a sandal using a hook-and-loop fastener is proposed in order to achieve various aims (for example, refer to Patent Documents 1 to 7).

DESCRIPTION OF THE DISCLOSURE Problem to be Solved by the Disclosure

If a belt or a band of an instep part (hereinafter, referred to as an “instep belt”) of a sandal is variously changeable in color, material, design, etc. according to feeling at the time, it becomes possible to wear the sandal while enjoying such a change.

If an inner sole and an outer sole are also changeable in color, wearing the sandal also becomes furthermore enjoyable.

Such an enjoyment of replacing the footwear part is desired for not only the sandal, but for every footwear having the instep belt. For example, if color, material, etc. of a clog thong (corresponding to the instep belt) of a wooden sandal are changeable depending on occasions, wearing the wooden sandal becomes more enjoyable.

The present disclosure is made in view of the above demands or problems, and the main purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a footwear which is freely replaceable of a footwear part such as an instep belt with a corresponding footwear part of a different type in color etc.

SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE

A footwear according to the subject matter of the present disclosure includes an outer sole having a first hook-and-loop fastener joined onto an upper surface opposite to a base surface that is a ground contacting surface, an inner sole having a second hook-and-loop fastener joined onto a lower surface corresponding to the upper surface of the outer sole, and an upper part. The upper part includes an instep belt having a front surface and a back surface opposite to the front surface. The instep belt includes a third hook-and-loop fastener and a fourth hook-and-loop fastener, in the front surface, directly joined onto the front surface parts of a left end side part and a right end side part extending in a short-side direction when seen from above, respectively, and a fifth hook-and-loop fastener and a sixth hook-and-loop fastener, in the back surface, directly joined onto the back surface parts corresponding to the left end side part and the right end side part of the front surface, respectively. The back surface of the instep belt is directly joined onto the lower surface of the inner sole detachably through a joining between the fifth hook-and-loop fastener and the second hook-and-loop fastener, and a joining between the sixth hook-and-loop fastener and the second hook-and-loop fastener. The front surface of the instep belt and the lower surface of the inner sole are both detachably attached to the upper surface of the outer sole through a joining between the third hook-and-loop fastener and the first hook-and-loop fastener, a joining between the fourth hook-and-loop fastener and the first hook-and-loop fastener, and a joining between the second hook-and-loop fastener and the first hook-and-loop fastener. The left end side part and the right end side part of the instep belt are both sandwiched between the upper surface of the outer sole and the lower surface of the inner sole.

Effect of the Disclosure

According to the subject matter of the present disclosure, the footwear is freely replaceable of the instep belt attached to the footwear with another instep belt different in color, material etc., and also replaceable of the inner sole or/and the outer sole of the footwear with an inner sole or/and an outer sole different in color.

Hereinafter, various embodiments of the present disclosure will be described, along with their effects and advantages based on accompanying drawings.

MODES FOR CARRYING OUT THE DISCLOSURE Embodiment 1

A “sandal (sandal footwear)” is described as one example of a “footwear” in this embodiment. Of course, the present disclosure is also applicable to other footwears provided with an instep belt.

<Configuration of Sandal and Parts Thereof>

FIG. 1 is a side view schematically illustrating a configuration of a sandal 100 according to this embodiment. FIG. 2 is a plan view schematically illustrating the configuration of the sandal 100 when seen in an arrow direction AR of FIG. 1. As illustrated in FIG. 1, the sandal 100 is mainly comprised of an outer sole 1 and an inner sole 2 forming a “shoe sole” of the sandal 100, and an instep belt 3 forming a “sandal band.” Characteristic configurations of the sandal 100 is that the footwear parts of the outer sole 1, the inner sole 2 and the instep belt 3 joined to and disposed between the outer sole 1 and the inner sole 2, are detachably integrated together by each part being joined through hook-and-loop fasteners to form the sandal 100, so that the outer sole 1, the inner sole 2 and the instep belt 3 are all easily separatable to be a discrete footwear part. Note that, each shape of the outer sole 1 and the inner sole 2 illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 is merely an example, and the entire shape of each of the outer sole 1 and the inner sole 2 may be arbitrary and not limited. Below, the characteristic configurations of the sandal 100 as a whole will be described in detail by describing the features of each footwear part forming the sandal 100.

First, FIG. 3 is a plan view schematically illustrating an upper surface 1US side of the outer sole 1 of FIG. 1. The upper surface 1US of the outer sole 1 is a surface opposite to a base surface 1BS of the outer sole 1 which is a ground contacting surface. Also, the upper surface 1US of the outer sole 1 corresponds to a “base surface” of a recessed part 1RP having a given depth formed by its circumference being surrounded by an outer edge part 1E, as a typical configuration of a shoe sole. Here, the outer edge part 1E is a frame part or an edge part formed in a convex shape by a topmost part 1UP of the outer sole 1. This outer sole 1 has a first hook-and-loop fastener 4 of which the entire surface is joined onto the upper surface 1US by a joining means such as an adhesion. In FIG. 3, the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 is indicated by hatching for the sake of simplification. This first hook-and-loop fastener 4 is a fastener having a physical property, in which a “hook surface” napped in a hook shape and a “loop surface” closely napped in a loop shape are separated and joined from/to each other only by being pulled against and stuck to each other. In other words, the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 is a fastener detachable on its surface. Note that, each of second to sixth hook-and-loop fasteners described below is also formed of a “hook-and-loop fastener” having the similar physical property.

On the other hand, FIG. 4 is a plan view schematically illustrating a configuration of a lower surface 2LS side of the inner sole 2 of FIG. 1. The lower surface 2LS corresponds to a surface corresponding to the upper surface 1US of the outer sole 1 according to the configuration of the sandal 100 of FIGS. 1 and 2. As illustrated in FIG. 4, the inner sole 2 has a second hook-and-loop fastener 5 of which substantially entire surface is joined onto the lower surface 2LS by the joining means such as an adhesion. Also in FIG. 4, the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 is indicated by hatching for the sake of simplification. Note that, no hook-and-loop fastener is joined onto an upper surface 2US of the inner sole 2.

Next, FIG. 5(a) is a plan view schematically illustrating a configuration of a front surface 3SS side of the instep belt 3, when planarly developing the instep belt 3 of FIG. 1 as a single part, and FIG. 5(b) is a plan view schematically illustrating a configuration of a back surface 3RS side of the instep belt 3. In FIGS. 5(a) and 5(b), reference numerals D1 and D2 are a long-side direction and a short-side direction of the instep belt 3 respectively, when planarly developing the instep belt 3 as the single part. Note that, the instep belt 3 has, as described above, the front surface 3SS and the back surface 3RS opposite to the front surface 3SS.

As illustrated in FIG. 5(a), the instep belt 3 has, on its front surface 3SS, a third hook-and-loop fastener 6 and a fourth hook-and-loop fastener 7 joined thereto by means of stitching or adhesion, on a left end side part 3ELS and a right end side part 3ERS, respectively located in a vicinity of a left end 3EL and a right end 3ER extending in the short-side direction D2 when seen from above. Therefore, in one example of the embodiment of the present disclosure, no hook-and-loop fastener exists on a part of the front surface 3SS between the left end side part 3ELS and the right end side part 3ERS.

Similarly, as illustrated in FIG. 5(b), the instep belt 3 has, on its back surface 3RS, a fifth hook-and-loop fastener 8 and a sixth hook-and-loop fastener 9 joined thereto by means of stitching or adhering, on a back surface part 3ELR corresponding or opposite to the left end side part 3ELS of the front surface 3SS, and a back surface part 3ERR corresponding or opposite to the right end side part 3ERS, respectively. Similarly, in this embodiment, no hook-and-loop fastener exists on a part of the back surface 3RS between the back surface part 3ELR on the left end side and the back surface part 3ERR on the right end side.

Note that, also in FIGS. 5(a) and 5(b), hook-and-loop fasteners 6, 7, 8 and 9 are indicated by hatching for the sake of simplification. Further, the shape of the instep belt 3 illustrated in FIGS. 5(a) and 5(b) is merely an example, and the entire shape of the instep belt 3 itself may be arbitrary and not limited.

Next, a case where the sandal 100 of FIGS. 1 and 2 is configured by combining and joining the footwear parts described above (the outer sole 1, the inner sole 2 and the instep belt 3) is described in sequence.

Here, FIG. 6 is a view schematically illustrating a state where the back surface 3SS of the instep belt 3 is partially joined onto the lower surface 2LS of the inner sole 2 on its left and right end sides, through the joining between the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 and each of the fifth and sixth hook-and-loop fasteners 8 and 9. That is, FIG. 6 is a plan view illustrating the configuration of the inner sole 2 in the state where the instep belt 3 is attached to the inner sole 2, when seen from below the lower surface 2LS of the inner sole 2. As illustrated in FIG. 6, firstly, the fifth hook-and-loop fastener 8 joined onto the back surface part 3ELR of the instep belt 3 is entirely pressed onto a given corresponding part of the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 on the lower surface 2LS of the inner sole 2, so that the whole surface of the fifth hook-and-loop fastener 8 is stuck to the second hook-and-loop fastener 5. Subsequently, the sixth hook-and-loop fastener 9 joined onto the back surface part 3ERR of the instep belt 3 is entirely pressed onto a given corresponding part of the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 on the lower surface 2LS of the inner sole 2, so that the whole surface of the sixth hook-and-loop fastener 9 is stuck to the second hook-and-loop fastener 5. Accordingly, the inner sole 2 provided with the instep belt 3 of which the left and right end side parts are attached to the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 is realized. Note that, the order of sticking the fifth hook-and-loop fastener 8 and the sixth hook-and-loop fastener 9 may be opposite to the order described above.

Then, the whole surface of the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 on the lower surface 2LS of the inner sole 2, which is in the state as illustrated in FIG. 6, is pushed onto the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 on the upper surface 1US along the outer edge part 1E of the outer sole 1, so that the hook-and-loop fasteners 4 and 5 are stuck to each other. By sticking in such a manner, the third hook-and-loop fastener 6 and the fourth hook-and-loop fastener 7 of the instep belt 3 are also stuck and joined to corresponding parts of the first hook-and-loop fastener 4, respectively. As a result, the left and right end side parts of the instep belt 3 are disposed between the outer sole 1 and the inner sole 2 to be sandwiched between the upper surface 1US of the outer sole 1 and the lower surface 2LS of the inner sole 2. Thus, the sandal 100 of FIGS. 1 and 2 is formed.

Conversely, each of the above footwear parts (the outer sole 1, the inner sole 2 and the instep belt 3) may sequentially be separated by following the opposite order of the above assembling procedure to take out each footwear part (the outer sole 1, the inner sole 2 and the instep belt 3) having the corresponding hook-and-loop fasteners from the assembled sandal 100.

As described above, in the sandal 100 of FIGS. 1 and 2, the back surface 3RS of the instep belt 3 is detachably joined onto the lower surface 2LS of the inner sole 2 through (1) the joining between the fifth hook-and-loop fastener 8 and the second hook-and-loop fastener 5, and (2) the joining between the sixth hook-and-loop fastener 9 and the second hook-and-loop fastener 5. Also, the front surface 3SS of the instep belt 3 and the lower surface 2LS of the inner sole 2 are both detachably attached onto the upper surface 1US of the outer sole 1 through (3) the joining between the third hook-and-loop fastener 6 and the first hook-and-loop fastener 4, (4) the joining between the forth hook-and-loop fastener 7 and the first hook-and-loop fastener 4, and (5) the joining between the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 and the first hook-and-loop fastener 4.

For example, in a case where the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 has the “hook surface,” the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 has the “loop surface,” and the third hook-and-loop fastener 6 and the fourth hook-and-loop fastener 7 both have the “loop surface,” while the fifth hook-and-loop fastener 8 and the sixth hook-and-loop fastener 9 both have the “hook surface.” On the other hand, in a case where the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 has the “loop surface,” all of the second hook-and-loop fastener 5, the third hook-and-loop fastener 6 and the fourth hook-and-loop fastener 7 have the “hook surface,” while the fifth hook-and-loop fastener 8 and the sixth hook-and-loop fastener 9 both have the “loop surface.”

<Advantage of Sandal; Flexibility in Replacement of Each Component>

A technical advantage (operation and effect) for a user who wears the sandal 100 described above is that it is possible to flexibly and freely change or replace each of the above footwear parts of the sandal 100 (the outer sole 1, the inner sole 2 and the instep belt 3) to the corresponding one which he/she likes and suits the feeling at that moment, at any time. That is, by peeling off and separating each of hook-and-loop fasteners (4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9) forming the sandal 100 as a whole by sticking to each other, the above footwear parts (the outer sole 1, the inner sole 2 and the instep belt 3) forming the sandal 100 are separated to be a single discrete footwear part. Therefore, it becomes possible for the user to replace or change the single separated footwear part to another footwear part different in color, etc., which he/she likes. The procedure to reconfigure the sandal 100 by using the replaced footwear parts is as described above, and an easy procedure. The advantages will be described in detail below, based on FIGS. 1 to 6.

i) Replacement of Outer Sole 1 (Change in Color)

The user peels off and separates the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 and the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 sticking to each other, by holding the outer sole 1 and the inner sole 2 of the sandal 100 by hand and pulling them in opposing directions respectively. According to this operation, the outer sole 1 having the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 on the upper surface 1US becomes a single discrete footwear part. Then, instead of the separated outer sole 1, the user adopts another discrete outer sole as a new outer sole, which similarly has the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 on the upper surface 1US, and has a different color from the outer sole 1. Subsequently, the user again sticks the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 of the new outer sole and the separated second hook-and-loop fastener 5 of the inner sole 2 to each other. Therefore, the user can easily realize the sandal 100 having the new outer sole 1 in different color from the previous outer sole, and enjoy wearing the favorite sandal 100.

ii) Replacement of Instep Belt 3 (Change in Color, Material, Design etc.)

First, as described above, the user peels off and separates the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 and the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 sticking to each other, by holding the outer sole 1 and the inner sole 2 of the sandal 100 by hand and pulling them in opposing directions respectively. According to this operation, the outer sole 1, and the inner sole 2 having the instep belt 3 sticking to each other are separated to be a single discrete footwear part. Further, the user peels off and separates the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 and the fifth hook-and-loop fastener 8, and the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 and the sixth hook-and-loop fastener 9, sticking to each other at the left and right end side parts of the instep belt 3. According to this separating operation, the inner sole 2 having the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 on the lower surface 2LS, and the instep belt 3 having the third to sixth hook-and-loop fasteners (6 to 9) both become a single footwear part. Then, instead of the separated instep belt 3, the user adopts another discrete instep belt as a new instep belt to be used, which similarly has the third to sixth hook-and-loop fasteners (6 to 9), and is different in elements such as color, material and design from the instep belt 3. Subsequently, the user again sticks the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 of the separated inner sole 2 and each of the fifth hook-and-loop fastener 8 and sixth hook-and-loop fastener 9 of the new instep belt. The operating process to configure the sandal 100 after that is as described above. Therefore, the user can easily realize the sandal 100 having the new instep belt 3 with different elements (color, material, etc.) from the previous instep belt, and enjoy wearing the sandal 100 having the favorite instep belt 3.

iii) Replacement of Inner Sole 2 (Change in Color)

The process before the separating operation of the inner sole 2 and the instep belt 3 is as described in the above ii) Replacement of Instep Belt 3. After the separation, instead of the separated inner sole 2, the user adopts another discrete inner sole as a new inner sole, which similarly has the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 on the lower surface 2LS, and has different color from the inner sole 2. Then, the user again sticks the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 of the new inner sole and each of the fifth hook-and-loop fastener 8 and the sixth hook-and-loop fastener 9 of the separated instep belt 3. The operating process to configure the sandal 100 after that is as described above. Therefore, the user can easily realize the sandal 100 having the new inner sole 2 in different color from the previous inner sole, and enjoy wearing the favorite sandal 100.

Accordingly, by combining the above described operations i), ii) and iii), the user can realize various changes through replacing the footwear parts comprising the sandal 100, and enjoy wearing the sandal.

(Modifications)

(1) Although the number of the instep belt 3 is one in Embodiment 1, the number of the instep belt may be arbitrary. For example, two instep belts intersecting one another in an X shape, or arranged side by side may be adopted, and the configuration of each instep belt may be the same as the instep belt 3 of Embodiment 1. The term “instep belt” of the present disclosure includes a concept in which the present disclosure is also applicable to a sandal band on a heel side, if only to a sandal band on a toe side. Further, the present disclosure is also applicable to a case where a clog thong of a footwear such as a wooden clog, a straw sandal, etc., is desired to be changed to various different types, and the “clog thong” used herein is included in the concept of the “instep belt” of the present disclosure. For example, FIG. 7 is a plan view schematically illustrating a configuration of a sandal 100A according to the modification, and is a plan view corresponding to FIG. 2 described in above Embodiment 1. Also, FIG. 8 is a vertical end view taken along a line IA-IB of a clog thong peripheral area 3HR including a clog thong 3H and its peripheral area in FIG. 7. Note that, the numerals in FIGS. 7 and 8 same as those in the figures according to Embodiment 1 (e.g., FIG. 2) indicate the corresponding components. For example, numerals 1, 2 and 3 in FIG. 7 indicate the outer sole, inner sole and instep belt, respectively. The feature of this modification illustrated in FIGS. 7 and 8 is that the instep belt 3 has the clog thong 3H which is disposed at a center part thereof and goes between toes of the user, and a surface of a seventh hook-and-loop fastener 10 provided entirely or partially on a base side end part 3HEP of the clog thong 3H is entirely or partially joined to the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 and the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 to be detachable. For example, as illustrated in FIGS. 7 and 8, the seventh hook-and-loop fastener 10 entirely provided on the base side end part 3HEP extending at a lower part of the clog thong 3H is detachably joined to the upper surfaces of the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 and the first hook-and-loop fastener 4, through a through hole 2H passing through a body of the inner sole 2, and a through hole 5H passing through the second hook-and-loop fastener 5. By the configuration of the surface joining between the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 and the seventh hook-and-loop fastener 10, and the surface joining between the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 and the seventh hook-and-loop fastener 10, it becomes possible for the user to easily and freely attach and detach to/from the outer sole 1 and the inner sole 2, the instep belt 3 having the clog thong 3H, in various color, design or shape, according to the feeling or the preference at that time. Note that, although the strength of the surface joining of the seventh hook-and-loop fastener 10 is weakened compared to the case in FIG. 8, the through hole 5H of FIG. 8 may not be provided, and the seventh hook-and-loop fastener 10 may simply be joined onto only the upper surface of the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 detachably, through the through hole 2H, and this modification also provides the similar advantages as described above. Moreover, as another modification, a component or a part entirely or partially covering a toe part or a nail part of the foot of the user projecting from the instep belt of the footwear may be disposed (not illustrated).

(2) As illustrated in FIG. 3, in Embodiment 1, the entire surface of the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 is joined and disposed onto the upper surface 1US of the outer sole 1. However, the present disclosure is not limited to such a configuration of the first hook-and-loop fastener, and the first hook-and-loop fastener 4 may, for example, be partially joined and disposed onto a part of the upper surface 1US of the outer sole 1, in a range where the third hook-and-loop fastener 6 and the fourth hook-and-loop fastener 7 of the instep belt 3 are attachable to the first hook-and-loop fastener 4. In this case, the second hook-and-loop fastener 5 is also partially joined and disposed onto the lower surface 2LS of the inner sole 2 to correspond to a disposed position, a size, a shape, etc. of the first hook-and-loop fastener 4.

(Additional Remarks)

As described above, although the embodiment of the present disclosure is disclosed and described in detail, the above description illustrates aspects to which the present disclosure is applicable, and the present disclosure is not limited to the aspects. That is, it is possible to consider various changes and/or modifications over the described aspects without departing from the scope of the present disclosure.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY

The present disclosure is suitable for the footwear having the instep belt such as a sandal.

1. A footwear, comprising:

an outer sole including a first hook-and-loop fastener joined onto an upper surface opposite to a base surface that is a ground contacting surface;
an inner sole including a second hook-and-loop fastener joined onto a lower surface corresponding to the upper surface of the outer sole; and
an upper part,

the instep belt including: a third hook-and-loop fastener and a fourth hook-and-loop fastener, in the front surface, directly joined onto the front surface parts of a left end side part and a right end side part extending in a short-side direction when seen from above, respectively; and a fifth hook-and-loop fastener and a sixth hook-and-loop fastener, in the back surface, directly joined onto the back surface parts corresponding to the left end side part and the right end side part of the front surface, respectively,
wherein the back surface of the instep belt is directly joined onto the lower surface of the inner sole detachably through a joining between the fifth hook-and-loop fastener and the second hook-and-loop fastener, and a joining between the sixth hook-and-loop fastener and the second hook-and-loop fastener,
wherein the front surface of the instep belt and the lower surface of the inner sole are both detachably attached to the upper surface of the outer sole through a joining between the third hook-and-loop fastener and the first hook-and-loop fastener, a joining between the fourth hook-and-loop fastener and the first hook-and-loop fastener, and a joining between the second hook-and-loop fastener and the first hook-and-loop fastener, and
wherein the left end side part and the right end side part of the instep belt are both sandwiched between the upper surface of the outer sole and the lower surface of the inner sole.

2. A footwear part corresponding to one of the outer sole, the inner sole and the instep belt of the footwear of claim 1.

3. A footwear, comprising:

a shoe sole including an outer sole and an inner sole;
an upper part including an instep belt disposed between the outer sole and the inner sole; and
a plurality of hook-and-loop fasteners detachably integrating the outer sole, the inner sole and the instep belt, so that the outer sole, the inner sole and the instep belt are all separatable to be a discrete footwear part, and a left end side part and a right end side part of the instep belt are both sandwiched between an upper surface of the outer sole and a lower surface of the inner sole.

4. The footwear of claim 1,

wherein the instep belt further including:
a clog thong fitted into a through hole passing through a body of the inner sole, and going between toes of a user; and
a seventh hook-and-loop fastener provided on a base side end part of the clog thong, and detachably joined onto an upper surface of the second hook-and-loop fastener.

5. The footwear of claim 2,

wherein the seventh hook-and-loop fastener is further detachably joined onto an upper surface of the first hook-and-loop fastener, through another through hole passing through the second hook-and-loop fastener.
