INFLATABLE AIR MATTRESS, CHAIR, AND COUCH WITH SPEAKERS

Abstract

The present invention provides inflatable furniture in the form of inflatable chairs, gaming chairs, lounges, love seats, couches, beds, and air mattresses having built-in or removable speakers, a built-in power source, or wireless speakers. The battery compartment is secured in a first compartment in the body. In addition, the first compartment and the speaker may be in the headrest, or armrest, or in a removable pillow. Further, the battery box is secured in a second compartment in the body, wherein the battery is rechargeable and the speaker unit is connected to the battery as a power source, or to a solar power source. Alternatively, the speaker units may be wireless. The present invention also provides inflatable furniture having an inflatable body, and a built-in or removable speaker unit being secured in a first compartment in the body. A second compartment is provided for the power source.

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is in the field of inflatable furniture for indoor or outdoor usage, including inflatable air mattresses, air beds, gaming chairs, pullout couches, lounges, and love seats, all having built-in or removable speakers, a built in power source having a battery compartment, and/or wireless speakers.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART

Prior art U.S. Pat. No. 8,366,502 discloses a float having an inflatable body, a speaker unit secured to the body, a battery box removably secured to the body, and wiring that electrically connects the speaker unit with the battery box.

However, the structure and function of the present invention is distinguishable from the '502 patent.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

It is an object of the present invention to provide improved inflatable furniture, which includes convenience structure for the user, including one or more built-in or removable speakers and holders/pockets.

Another object of the present invention is to provide improved inflatable furniture, which includes convenience structure for the user, including a headrest, or an armrest, or a removable pillow, having one or more built-in or removable speakers contained therein.

Another object of the present invention is to provide improved inflatable furniture, which includes convenience structure for the user, wherein the built-in or removable speakers may be powered by solar power, batteries, or may be wireless.

Another object of the present invention is to provide inflatable furniture for indoor or outdoor usage.

Another object of the present invention is to provide inflatable chairs, inflatable gaming chairs, inflatable lounges, inflatable couches and beds and air mattresses.

Another object of the present invention is to provide improved inflatable furniture, which includes convenience structure for the user, wherein the inflatable furniture includes an inflatable body.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention provides inflatable furniture in the form of inflatable chairs, gaming chairs, lounges, love seats, couches, beds, and air mattresses having built-in or removable speakers, a built-in power source, or wireless speakers. The battery compartment is secured in a first compartment in the body. In addition, the first compartment and the speaker may be in the headrest, or armrest, or in a removable pillow. Further, the battery box is secured in a second compartment in the body, wherein the battery is rechargeable and the speaker unit is connected to the battery as a power source, or to a solar power source. Alternatively, the speaker units may be wireless.

The present invention also provides inflatable furniture having an inflatable body, and a built-in or removable speaker unit being secured in a first compartment in the body. A second compartment is provided for the power source.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the present invention provides inflatable furniture 10 having a body 12, including a seating section 14, an upright section 16, and side sections 18. Multiple speaker units 20, 22, and 24 are built into separate compartments 26, 28, and 30 of the body 12; wherein the separate compartments 26, 28, and 30 are in the headrest 32, or armrest 34, or in a removable pillow 36.

FIGS. 1A and 2B are a detailed perspective views showing the speaker 20 in the headrest 32. As shown in FIGS. 1A and 2B, there is a battery compartment 70 for housing the batteries 74 which are rechargeable and the speaker unit 78 is connected to batteries 74 as a power source.

FIGS. 3 and 4 show a second embodiment in the form of a love seat 100. Speaker housing 124 and speaker 120 are shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B.

FIGS. 5 and 6 show a third embodiment in the form of a couch 200. Speaker housing 224 and speaker 220 are shown in FIGS. 5A and 5B.

FIGS. 7, 8, 9, and 10 show another embodiment in the form of an inflatable foldout bed 300. Speaker housing 324 and speaker 320 are shown in FIGS. 7A and 7B.

FIGS. 11 and 12 show another embodiment in the form of an inflatable air mattress 350. Speaker housing 354 and speakers 352 are shown in FIG. 11A.

The present invention provides ergonomically inflatable furniture with an integrated Bluetooth speaker system, or removable speakers, which is powered by removable and rechargeable batteries, including a lithium ion battery, which has up to 20 hours of power after a full charge. In addition, the Bluetooth speaker is either a 4.0 or a 4.1 low energy BLE having a range of 70 to 80 feet. Further, the speakers are at least 3 watts to 10 watts with performance drivers to improve sound quality. Also, the cell phone has hands-free calling, and there is an external control pad having an on/off switch, and a control for pairing and for volume.

As shown in FIG. 13, the speaker device 400 includes an ABS battery shaft 402, a battery pack 404 therein, and a rubber topper 406. The speaker device 400 also includes a speaker housing 410 having a sub-woofer 408, a speaker 412, an outer speaker grill 414, an inner speaker grill 416, and a connecting speaker wire 418. In addition, FIG. 15 shows a perspective view, and FIG. 14 shows a top view of the foregoing elements assembled having a speaker on each end of the speaker device 400.

FIG. 16 shows a cross-sectional view with all of the elements assembled, including the main speaker device 400 having received therein the battery shaft 402 and the battery pack 404 with the rubber topper 406 placed thereon. FIG. 16A shows the top view, and FIG. 6B shows the side view of speaker device 400. In addition, FIG. 17 shows the battery pack 404 having four batteries contained therein being each being 2,500 milliamps. Also, FIG. 18 shows a cross-sectional view of the speaker housing 410 having the speaker 412 mounted therein. FIG. 18A shows the grill 416, and FIG. 18B shows the side view of housing 410.

FIG. 19 shows a perspective view of the assembly of speaker device 400 with the two speakers 410, 412 connected thereto by wires 418, and also shows a cell phone 420 that provides a Bluetooth connection between the side speakers 410, 412 and the speaker device 400.

FIG. 20 shows the wireless connection between speakers 410 and 412, so that no wires are used in this embodiment. The Bluetooth connects the speakers to the main unit that connects to the smart device. In addition, the wireless Bluetooth connection is provided from an external smart device to provide sound to the speakers 410 and 412. Further, the two speakers 410 and 2 shown in FIG. 20 are hard wired to a PCB board and a battery, and receive sound via a Bluetooth signal from the external smart device.

FIG. 21 is a different perspective view of the speaker device 400, shown in FIG. 13, which includes the speaker housing 410 having the sub-woofer 408, the speaker 412, the outer speaker grill 414, and the inner speaker grill 416.

ADVANTAGES OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

It is an advantage of the present invention to provide improved inflatable furniture, which includes convenience structure for the user, including one or more built-in or removable speakers and holders/pockets.

Another advantage of the present invention is to provide improved inflatable furniture, which includes convenience structure for the user, including a headrest, or an armrest, or a removable pillow, having one or more built-in or removable speakers contained therein.

Another advantage of the present invention is to provide improved inflatable furniture, which includes convenience structure for the user, wherein the built-in or removable speakers may be powered by solar power, batteries, or may be wireless.

Another advantage of the present invention is to provide inflatable furniture for indoor or outdoor usage.

Another advantage of the present invention is to provide inflatable chairs, inflatable gaming chairs, inflatable lounges, inflatable couches and beds and air mattresses.

Another advantage of the present invention is to provide improved inflatable furniture, which includes convenience structure for the user, wherein the inflatable furniture includes an inflatable body.

A latitude of modification, change and substitution is intended in the foregoing disclosure, and in some instances, some features of the invention will be employed without a corresponding use of other features. Accordingly, it is appropriate that the appended claims be construed broadly and in a manner consistent with the spirit and scope of the invention herein.

Claims

1) An inflatable furniture unit for indoor or outdoor usage, comprising:

a) an inflatable body having an interior in the form of a chair, gaming chair, loveseat, lounges, couch, bed or air mattress;

b) one or more built-in or removable speaker units being located in one or more compartments formed in said inflatable body, wherein said speaker units may be in the headrest, armrest, or in a removable pillow; and

c) a power source being secured in a compartment in said body, wherein said power source may be one or more batteries, a solar source of power, or a wireless connection.

2) An inflatable furniture unit in accordance with claim 1, wherein said power source is a rechargeable and removable lithium battery, and a further compartment is provided for receiving a cell phone therein.

3) An inflatable furniture unit in accordance with claim 1, wherein each of said speakers include a housing, at least one battery, a speaker unit, and a top cap.

4) An inflatable furniture unit in accordance with claim 1, wherein said power source is one or more batteries mounted in a battery housing, and said battery is rechargeable and removable.

5) An inflatable furniture unit in accordance with claim 1, wherein said battery housing includes two separate speakers on the ends of the housing, wherein said speakers are powered by a rechargeable battery mounted in said battery housing, and wherein a control panel is provided on said housing to control the operation of said speakers.

6) An inflatable furniture unit in accordance with claim 1, wherein said inflatable body has a wireless Bluetooth connection for connecting to an external smart device to provide sound to said speakers.

7) An inflatable furniture unit, comprising:

a) an inflatable body having an interior;

b) one or more speaker units is secured in one or more compartments formed in said body, wherein said speaker units may be in the headrest, armrest, or in a removable pillow; and

c) a power source is secured in a compartment in said body, wherein said power source may be a wireless connection.

8) An inflatable furniture unit in accordance with claim 7, wherein said power source is a rechargeable and removable lithium battery, and a further compartment is provided for receiving a cell phone therein.

9) An inflatable furniture unit in accordance with claim 7, wherein each of said speakers include a housing, at least one battery, and a speaker unit.

10) An inflatable furniture unit in accordance with claim 7, wherein said power source is a solar panel and one or more batteries mounted in a battery housing, wherein said solar panel is mounted on said battery housing on the exterior of said battery housing, and said battery is rechargeable and removable.

11) An inflatable furniture unit in accordance with claim 10, wherein said battery housing includes two separate speakers on the ends of the housing, wherein said speakers are powered by a rechargeable battery mounted in said battery housing, and wherein a control panel is provided on said housing to control the operation of said speakers.
