Abstract

Boxers, including a main body to be worn on at least a portion of a pelvis of a user, and at least one pocket disposed on at least a portion of the main body to store at least one item therein.

BACKGROUND

1. Field

The present general inventive concept relates generally to boxers, and particularly, to boxers with pockets.

2. Description of the Related Art

Traditional boxers are functional to a point, but do not have any pockets available for use when wearing boxers at home. Many men prefer to unwind and relax while wearing boxers essentially as shorts.

Unfortunately, a lack of pocket access on traditional boxers requires wearers to hold more items in their hands than is necessary, and attempting to carry items like cell phones along with plates or glasses between rooms is especially difficult without the availability of pockets.

Therefore, there is a need for boxers with pockets to receive items, such that a user does not have to carry excess items.

SUMMARY

The present general inventive concept provides boxers with pockets.

Additional features and utilities of the present general inventive concept will be set forth in part in the description which follows and, in part, will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by practice of the general inventive concept.

The foregoing and/or other features and utilities of the present general inventive concept may be achieved by providing boxers, including a main body to be worn on at least a portion of a pelvis of a user, and at least one pocket disposed on at least a portion of the main body to store at least one item therein.

The at least one pocket may be constructed from a shape memory alloy.

The at least one pocket may be adjustable in size to accommodate a size of the at least one item.

The at least one pocket may retain the size after being adjusted by the user.

The boxers may further include a retention member disposed on at least a portion of a top edge of the main body to adjust in size to accommodate a size of a waist of the user.

The boxers may further include a cleansing unit disposed within at least a portion of the main body to reduce an odor dispersed throughout the main body.

The cleansing unit may emit a natural scent to counteract a build up of odor from a body of the user or external dirt attaching to the main body.

The cleansing unit may absorb the odor via an odor neutralant.

FIG. 1 illustrates a front perspective view of boxers 100 with pockets 120, according to an exemplary embodiment of the present general inventive concept.

The boxers 100 may be constructed from at least one of metal, plastic, shape memory alloy, and rubber, etc., but is not limited thereto.

The boxers 100 may include a main body 110, a plurality of pockets 120, a retention member 130, and a cleansing unit 140, but is not limited thereto.

The main body 110 may include an outer surface 111 and an inner surface 112, but is not limited thereto.

The main body 110 may be worn around a pelvis of a user. Specifically, the inner surface 112 of the main body 110 may receive the pelvis of the user therein.

The main body 110 may be constructed with a shape memory alloy. The main body 110 may be designed to stretch in, on, and/or around the pelvis of the user to expand and/or shrink in size based on a preference of the user. As such, the main body 110 may adjust in size to accommodate the pelvis of the user. Thereafter, the main body 110 may retain the size once it is fitted to the user.

The plurality of pockets 120 may be constructed with a shape memory alloy. More specifically, the plurality of pockets 120 may be designed to stretch in, on, and/or around at least a portion of each of the plurality of pockets 120 to expand and/or shrink in size based on the preference of the user. As such, the plurality of pockets 120 may adjust in size to accommodate at least one large item, such as a baseball, and/or at least one small item, such as a pencil. Thereafter, the plurality of pockets 120 may retain their size once they are fitted to the preference of the user.

The plurality of pockets 120 may be disposed on at least a portion of the outer surface 111 of the main body 110. Alternatively, the plurality of pockets 120 may be a single pocket, such that at least one pocket 120 may be disposed on at least a portion of the outer surface 111 of the main body 110. In other words, a number of pockets may depend on the preference of the user.

Moreover, the at least one pocket 120 may store at least one item therein.

The retention member 130 may include an elastic cord, a shape memory alloy, and a drawstring, but is not limited thereto.

The retention member 130 may be disposed on at least a portion of a top edge of the main body 110. The retention member 130 may be designed to stretch in, on, and/or around at least a portion thereof to expand and/or shrink in size based on the preference of the user. As such, the retention member 130 may adjust in size to accommodate a size of a waist of the user. Thereafter, the retention member 130 may retain the size once it is fitted to the user.

The cleansing unit 140 may include a fragrance dispersion unit and an odor absorbing device, but is not limited thereto.

The cleansing unit 140 may be disposed on and/or within at least a portion of the main body 110, such as within a lining between the outer surface 111 and the inner surface 112. The cleansing unit 140 may reduce an odor dispersed throughout the main body 110. In other words, the cleansing unit 140 may prevent a buildup of the odor from germs and other foreign objects that adhere to the main body 110.

More specifically, the cleansing unit 140 may emit a natural scent to counteract a build up of odor from a body of the user and/or external dirt attaching to the boxers 100. The natural scent may include lemon, lime, and/or any other fragrance known in the art to counter odors. Alternatively, the cleansing unit 140 may absorb the odor via an odor neutralant, such that the odor may be removed. The odor neutralant may be a deodorizing granule, baking soda, a vinegar-like powder, and/or any other product known in the art to remove odors.

Therefore, the boxers 100 may be an ideal solution for the user who needs an increased ability to store items.

The present general inventive concept may include boxers 100, including a main body 110 to be worn on at least a portion of a pelvis of a user, and at least one pocket 120 disposed on at least a portion of the main body 120 to store at least one item therein.

The at least one pocket 120 may be constructed from a shape memory alloy.

The at least one pocket 120 may be adjustable in size to accommodate a size of the at least one item.

The at least one pocket 120 may retain the size after being adjusted by the user.

The boxers 100 may further include a retention member 130 disposed on at least a portion of a top edge of the main body 110 to adjust in size to accommodate a size of a waist of the user.

The boxers 100 may further include a cleansing unit 140 disposed within at least a portion of the main body 110 to reduce an odor dispersed throughout the main body 110.

The cleansing unit 140 may emit a natural scent to counteract a build up of odor from a body of the user or external dirt attaching to the main body 110.

The cleansing unit 140 may absorb the odor via an odor neutralant.

Although a few embodiments of the present general inventive concept have been shown and described, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that changes may be made in these embodiments without departing from the principles and spirit of the general inventive concept, the scope of which is defined in the appended claims and their equivalents.

Claims

1. Boxers, comprising:

a main body to be worn on at least a portion of a pelvis of a user; and

at least one pocket disposed on at least a portion of the main body to store at least one item therein.

2. The boxers of claim 1, wherein the at least one pocket is constructed from a shape memory alloy.

3. The boxers of claim 2, wherein the at least one pocket is adjustable in size to accommodate a size of the at least one item.

4. The boxers of claim 2, wherein the at least one pocket retains the size after being adjusted by the user.

5. The boxers of claim 1, further comprising:

a retention member disposed on at least a portion of a top edge of the main body to adjust in size to accommodate a size of a waist of the user.

6. The boxers of claim 1, further comprising:

a cleansing unit disposed within at least a portion of the main body to reduce an odor dispersed throughout the main body.

7. The boxers of claim 6, wherein the cleansing unit emits a natural scent to counteract a build up of odor from a body of the user or external dirt attaching to the main body.

8. The boxers of claim 6, wherein the cleansing unit absorbs the odor via an odor neutralant.
