CITATION LIST Patent DocumentPatent Document 1: JP 2005-198746A
SUMMARY OF INVENTION Technical ProblemIncidentally, with the carrying strap described in Patent Document 1, the tape measure body comes in intimate contact with the dangle or the like due to the winding force of the tape measure body, in a state where the cord-like member has been wound up, but when a pulling force exceeding the winding force to some extent is applied to the dangle or the like, the dangle or the like will be pulled out contrary to the intentions of the user. Also, when the dangle or the like has some weight, a load is applied to the winding mechanism of the tape measure body, and, depending on the case, the tape measure body could conceivably not fully wind up the cord-like member, leaving the cord-like member and the dangle or the like in a pulled out state.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a holder in which a cord-like member is inhibited from being pulled out inadvertently, and that is also able to suppress the load that is applied to a winding mechanism.
Solution to ProblemIn order to solve the above problem, a holder according to the present invention includes a main body part internally housing a winding mechanism to which one end of a cord-like member is connected and that winds up the cord-like member, having a communication opening communicating between inside and outside and through which the cord-like member passes when pulled out or wound up, and provided with a first coupling implement, and a detachable part to which an other end of the cord-like member is connected, having an insertion opening through which the cord-like member is inserted, and provided with a second coupling implement, a magnetic body through which the cord-like member passes being provided in the communication opening, a ferromagnetic body through which the cord-like member passes being provided in the insertion opening, and the detachable part being detachably attached to the main body part, by magnetization of the magnetic body and the ferromagnetic body.
With this holder, the detachable part is detachably attached to the main body part, by the magnetization of the magnetic body provided in the communication opening of the main body part and the ferromagnetic body provided in the insertion opening of the detachable part, and thus when the cord-like member is wound up and the detachable part is magnetized to the main body part, the cord-like member is inhibited by the magnetizing force from being pulled out inadvertently. Also, even if a tensile force (pulling force on the cord-like member) acts on the detachable part due, for instance, to the weight of the item coupled to the second coupling implement, the magnetizing force thereof will resist the tensile force, enabling the load that is applied to the winding mechanism housed in the main body part and to which one end of the cord-like member is connected to be suppressed.
The detachable part may be attached to the main body part at an arbitrary angle about the cord-like member (about the direction in which the cord-like member extends when the detachable part is attached to the main body part), and as long as the surface of the magnetic body on the ferromagnetic body side is magnetized to the same pole, the detachable part can be attached to the main body part at an arbitrary angle, because the cord-like member is inserted through the magnetic body and the ferromagnetic body and the attraction of the magnetic body and the ferromagnetic body acts so as to enclose the cord-like member.
Also, as long as the end face of the communication opening is formed on the same plane as the surface of the magnetic body on the ferromagnetic body side and the end face of the insertion opening is formed on the same plane as the surface of the ferromagnetic body on the magnetic body side, the end face of the communication opening abuts the end face of the insertion opening when the magnetic body and the ferromagnetic body are magnetized together and the integrated feel of the main body part and the detachable part in appearance is promoted, and furthermore, if the outer shape of the portion forming the communication opening of the main body part and the outer shape of the portion forming the insertion opening of the detachable part are approximately the same, the integrated feel can be further enhanced and an improvement in the design and the appearance quality of the holder can be achieved.
Advantageous Effects of InventionWith the holder according to the present invention, the cord-like member is inhibited from being pulled out inadvertently, and the load applied to the winding mechanism can also be suppressed.
An embodiment for carrying out the present invention will be described based on the drawings.
As shown in
The casing 10 is schematically configured by a resin front casing 11, back casing 12 and side casing 13. The front casing 11 and the back casing 12 are circular members of a size (e.g., about 40 mm in diameter) that does not impair portability, and are respectively disposed facing the front side (near side in
The front casing 11, the back casing 12 and the side casing 13 have four screw holes whose axial direction is the thickness direction, in corresponding positions in a state where the holes are disposed to overlap with each other (reference numeral 15 denotes the screw holes in the front casing 11), and the casings are integrally fastened by screws 17 that are inserted into the screw holes. A cylindrical opening 18 that communicates between the inside (housing part) and outside of the casing 10 is provided in a lower part of the casing 10, and a lower end face 18a of the opening 18 is flatly formed.
The cord body 20 has a required length (e.g., 1 m) according to the use application of the holder 1, and is provided with a durability capable of withstanding being repeatedly pulled out and wound up. One end (upper end) of the cord body 20 is connected to the reel 30, and the other end (lower end) of the cord body 20 is connected to the detachable part 40.
The reel 30 is housed in the housing part of the casing 10, and has a known mechanism for winding up and pulling out the cord body 20. The reel 30 may utilize the rewind force of a spiral spring to extend or retract the cord body 20 with respect to the casing 10, and may have a stopper function that fixes the extension of the cord body 20 at an arbitrary length, for example. When the cord body 20 is pulled out or wound up by the reel 30, a portion thereof passes through the opening 18, and the portion of the cord body 20 wound up onto the reel 30 is housed in the housing part of the casing 10.
The detachable part 40 is formed separately from the casing 10, and is schematically configured by a resin detachable part main body 41 and ring holding part 42. The detachable part main body 41 and the ring holding part 42, here, are integrally formed, and configured to not relatively rotate about the cord body 20 (direction of arrow A about axis O in
A cylindrical opening 43 whose outer and inner diameters are approximately the same as the opening 18 is provided in an upper part of the detachable part main body 41, and an upper end face 43a of the opening 43 is flatly formed. The portion of the cord body 20 that is not wound up onto the reel 30 extends outside the casing 10 through the opening 18 and is inserted into the opening 43, and the distal end (lower end) thereof is connected to a fixing part (not shown) inside the detachable part main body 41 and fixed.
The ring holding part 42 is provided downward of the detachable part main body 41, and has a holding hole 44 whose axial direction is a direction orthogonal to the attachment-detachment direction (up-down direction) of the detachable part 40 with respect to the casing 10, and through which the ring 60 is inserted.
A carabiner 50 is provided in an upper part of the casing 10, and has an opening/closing part 51 for coupling to a coupling object such as a bag, a belt or the like. The carabiner 50, here, is integrally formed with the casing 10 at both ends 50a, and is configured to not relatively rotate or the like in the direction of arrow A with respect to the casing 10, but may be provided separately from the casing 10.
The ring 60 forms an annular shape, and has an opening/closing part 61 for coupling to a coupling object such as a smartphone or other mobile terminal, outdoor gear or the like. The ring 60 is held in the holding hole 44 with a clearance therearound, and can be rotated in the circumferential direction (direction of arrow B in
The holder 1 further includes a magnet 70 provided in the opening 18 and a magnet 80 provided in the opening 43. The detachable part 40 is detachably attached to the casing 10, by the magnetization of the magnet 70 and the magnet 80.
Specifically, the magnet 70 forms a columnar shape having an outer diameter approximately the same as the inner diameter of the opening 18, and is fitted into the opening 18 and adhered with an adhesive or the like. A through hole 71 that passes vertically through the magnet 70 is formed in the center of the magnet 70, and the entirety of a lower surface 72 of the magnet 70 is magnetized to an N-pole (magnet 70 is magnetized in one of the up and down directions). The cord body 20 passes through the magnet 70 by way of the through hole 71, and the lower end face 18a of the opening 18 is formed on the same plane as (flush with) the lower surface 72 of the magnet 70.
The magnet 80 forms a columnar shape having an outer diameter approximately the same as the inner diameter of the opening 43, and is fitted into the opening 43 and adhered with an adhesive or the like. A through hole 81 passing vertically through the magnet 80 is formed in the center of the magnet 80, and the entirety of an upper surface 82 of the magnet 80 is magnetized to the S-pole (magnet 80 is magnetized in one of the up and down directions). The cord body 20 passes through the magnet 80 by way of the through hole 81, and the upper end face 43a of the opening 43 is formed on the same plane as (flush with) the upper surface 82 of the magnet 80.
The holder 1 according to the present embodiment is, for example, used in the case where a mobile terminal such as a smartphone or the like, outdoor gear or other such item coupled to the ring 60 is carried by being coupled to a bag, belt or the like with the carabiner 50. When using the mobile terminal, outdoor gear or the like, the user need only detach the detachable part 40 from the casing 10 and pull the cord body 20 out from the casing 10 to where the mobile terminal, outdoor gear or the like can be easily used, and after using the mobile terminal, outdoor gear or the like, the user need only wind up the cord body 20 with the reel 30 and attach the detachable part 40 to the casing 10.
With this holder 1, the detachable part 40 is detachably attached to the casing 10, by the magnetization of the magnet 70 provided in the opening 18 of the casing 10 and the magnet 80 provided in the opening 43 of the detachable part 40, and thus, when the cord body 20 is wound up and the detachable part 40 is magnetized to the casing 10, the cord body 20 is inhibited by the magnetizing force from being pulled out inadvertently. Also, even if a tensile force (pulling force on the cord body 20) acts on the detachable part 40 due, for instance, to the weight of the item coupled to the ring 60, the magnetizing force thereof will resist the tensile force, enabling the load that is applied to the reel 30 housed in the casing 10 and to which one end of the cord body 20 is connected to be suppressed.
In the present embodiment, the entirety of the lower surface 72 of the magnet 70 is magnetized to the N-pole, the entirety of the upper surface 82 of the magnet 80 that magnetizes thereto is magnetized to the S-pole, the cord body 20 passes through the magnet 70 and the magnet 80, and the attraction of the magnet 70 and the magnet 80 acts so as to enclose the cord body 20, thus enabling the detachable part 40 to be attached to the casing 10 at an arbitrary angle about the cord body 20 (about the axis 0). Accordingly, it is possible for a mobile terminal such as a smartphone or the like, outdoor gear or other such item coupled to the ring 60 that is held by the detachable part 40 to be carried by the user at a desired angle to the casing 10, enabling a mobile terminal to be fixedly oriented such that the screen is less likely to get dirty or fixedly oriented such that the screen is readily visible in a state where the cord body 20 is wound up.
Also, in the present embodiment, the lower end face 18a of the opening 18 is formed on the same plane as the lower surface 72 of the magnet 70 and the upper end face 43a of the opening 43 is formed on the same plane as the upper surface 82 of the magnet 80, and thus the lower end face 18a of the opening 18 abuts the upper end face 43a of the opening 43 when the magnet 70 and the magnet 80 are magnetized together and the integrated feel of the casing 10 and the detachable part 40 in appearance is promoted, and, furthermore, the outer shape (outer peripheral surface 18b of the opening 18) of the portion of the casing 10 forming the opening 18 is approximately the same as the outer shape (outer peripheral surface 43b of the opening 43) of the portion of the detachable part 40 forming the opening 43, and thus the integrated feel is further enhanced and an improvement in the design and the appearance quality of the holder is achieved.
Although an embodiment of the present invention has been illustrated above, embodiments of the invention are not limited to the aforementioned embodiment, and modifications and the like may be made without departing from the gist of the invention.
For example, a so-called split ring that does not have an opening/closing part or a snap such as a halter snap may be used as the coupling implement for coupling to a coupling object, instead of a carabiner or a ring.
Also, the outer shape of the portion forming the opening on the casing side and the outer shape of the portion forming the opening on the detachable part side are not limited to being circular, and may be elliptical, square, rectangular, rhomboid or other polygonal shapes or the like.
Furthermore, any magnetization mode of the magnet may be adopted, and a ferromagnetic body that is not a magnetic body may be used instead of the magnet of the detachable part.
