Provided is an apparatus for training golf. The apparatus comprises a shaft, a head portion provided at one end of the shaft and a ribbon detachably coupled to the head portion, wherein the ribbon includes a plurality of flags formed at one end of the ribbon.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

This patent application claims the benefit of Korean Utility Model Application No. 20-2020-0000805, filed on Mar. 9, 2020, which is hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety into this application.

BACKGROUND Field

The present invention relates to an apparatus for training golf. More specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus capable of recognizing an appropriate swing trajectory by a user while training golf swing more conveniently regardless of a location.

Description of the Related Art

Conventional golf clubs for training are designed to train swing in indoor or convenient spaces with short length shafts. This is to prevent accidents caused by swing training indoors. However, a short length golf club for training is not suitable for training golf swings because the length of the golf club is different from that of the actual golf club, so it is impossible to feel a proper distance when swinging.

SUMMARY

The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a golf club for training that allows a person to train with the same length as an actual golf club.

Another technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a golf club for training that provides a more stable auditory effect such as an impact moment hitting an actual golf ball.

Another technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a golf club for training that provides the effectiveness of training by allowing the user to recognize the appropriateness of the swing trajectory.

The technical problems of the present invention are not limited to the technical problems mentioned above, and other technical problems not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below.

According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, an apparatus for training golf comprises a shaft, a head portion provided at one end of the shaft, and a ribbon detachably coupled to the head portion, wherein the ribbon includes a plurality of flags formed at one end of the ribbon.

According to an embodiment, the one end of the ribbon is cut diagonally.

According to an embodiment, a projection is formed at an end of the flag.

According to an embodiment, the projection is plastic coated.

According to an embodiment, the head portion is formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, and includes a connection portion, in which a hollow is formed on an outer circumferential surface, the ribbon includes a tail that is provided at the other end of the ribbon, can be inserted into the hollow, and has a width narrower than a width of the one end of the ribbon so that a knot is formed.

According to an embodiment, a sensor portion for detecting a swing trajectory of a user, the head portion includes a lamp for operating to indicate whether the swing trajectory of the user is normal using a signal output from the sensor portion.

According to an embodiment, the lamp, by using a signal output from the sensor portion, displays a first color if the swing trajectory corresponds to a reference range and displays a second color if the swing trajectory does not correspond to the reference range.

According to an embodiment, a handle portion provided at the other end of the shaft, the handle portion includes a vibrator for generating a vibration signal corresponding to the swing trajectory of the user by using a signal output from the sensor portion.

According to an embodiment, the vibrator, by using a signal output from the sensor portion, vibrates when a motion of the user corresponds to an address motion and an angle between the shaft and a ground corresponds to a reference angle, and vibrates when a motion of the user corresponds to an impact and an angle formed between the shaft and the ground corresponds to the reference angle.

According to an embodiment, the head portion is formed of silicone.

According to an embodiment, the head portion is formed of a transparent colored material.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the attached drawings. Advantages and features of the present disclosure and methods of accomplishing the same may be understood more readily by reference to the following detailed description of preferred embodiments and the accompanying drawings. The present disclosure may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete and will fully convey the concept of the disclosure to those skilled in the art, and the present disclosure will only be defined by the appended claims.

In adding reference numerals to the components of each drawing, it should be noted that the same reference numerals are assigned to the same components as much as possible even though they are shown in different drawings. In addition, in describing the present invention, when it is determined that the detailed description of the related well-known configuration or function may obscure the gist of the present invention, the detailed description thereof will be omitted.

Unless otherwise defined, all terms used in the present specification (including technical and scientific terms) may be used in a sense that can be commonly understood by those skilled in the art. In addition, in describing the component of this invention, terns, such as first, second, A, B, (a), (b), can be used. These terms are only for distinguishing the components from other components, and the nature or order of the components is not limited by the terms. If a component is described as being “connected,” “coupled” or “contacted” to another component, that component may be directly connected to or contacted with that other component, but it should be understood that another component also may be “connected,” “coupled” or “contacted” between each component.

Hereinafter, some embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 is a side view for describing a golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 1, a golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a ribbon 110, a head portion 120, a shaft 130, and a handle portion 140.

In this embodiment, unlike the conventional short length golf club for training, the ribbon 110 is connected to the head portion so that the user can train with the length of the actual golf club. In this embodiment, the ribbon 110 is fastened to prevent an accident from indoor swing training and the user can train with the length of an actual golf club, thereby obtaining the effectiveness of training. In addition, in this embodiment, the ribbon 110 is provided to maximize the auditory effect generated when swinging.

In this embodiment, the shaft 130 may be formed of steel. In this embodiment, the shaft 130 formed of steel has a disadvantage that elasticity and repulsion are small, but has an advantage in terms of swing accuracy. In this embodiment, the shaft 130 may also be formed of graphite. In this embodiment, the shaft 130 formed of graphite has a disadvantage in terms of swing accuracy, but has an advantage of being able to train light swing because of its good elasticity and repulsion. However, the shaft 130 is not limited to those formed of the materials listed above.

In this embodiment, the upper portion of the head portion 120 may be formed of silicon. Since the upper portion of the head portion 120 is formed of silicon, it can act as a buffer in case of an unexpected impact. A detailed description of the head portion in this embodiment will be described later with reference to FIGS. 5A-6B below.

In this embodiment, the handle portion 140 may be made of rubber. In this embodiment, the handle portion 140 may also be made of elastomer. However, the material of the handle portion 140 is not limited to the illustrated material, and all materials used in the manufacturing of the actual golf club grip may be included in the material of the handle portion 140.

Hereinafter, the ribbon 110 of the golf club for training according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. 2. FIG. 2 is a front view for describing the ribbon of the golf club for training according to the embodiment described with reference to FIG. 1.

Referring to FIG. 2, a ribbon 110 of a golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a plurality of flags 111 and a tail 113.

In this embodiment, the ribbon 110 may be made of leather. In the present embodiment, the ribbon 110 is made of leather, thereby ensuring air resistance when swinging to maximize the audible effect generated when swinging, and in impact motion, the lower end of the ribbon 110 collides with the ground, thereby causing an audible effect. However, the material of the ribbon 110 is not limited to leather corresponding to the present embodiment, and all materials capable of preventing an accident even when colliding indoors, being easily manufactured in the form of the ribbon 110, and securing air resistance when swinging may be included in the material of the ribbon 110.

In this embodiment, a plurality of flags 111 may be formed at one end of the ribbon 110. In the case of a conventional golf club for training manufactured by connecting a ribbon so that it has the same length as the actual golf club, there is a problem that the auditory effect is not stably generated due to the rotation of the ribbon when swinging. By forming a plurality of flags 111 at one end of the ribbon 110, it is possible to prevent the ribbon 110 from rotating when swinging, thereby securing air resistance when swinging to stably provide an auditory effect.

In this embodiment, the plurality of flags 111 may be formed by cutting a plurality of times from one end of the ribbon 110 to the other end direction. Since the same material as the ribbon 110 is cut a plurality of times to form a plurality of flags 111, it is easy to manufacture and has an advantage of low manufacturing cost. In this embodiment, the plurality of flags 111 may be formed by connecting a material different from the material of the ribbon 110 to one end of the ribbon 110. However, the formation of the plurality of flags 111 is not limited to the above example, and may include all methods that can prevent the ribbon 110 from rotating when swinging while corresponding to a material similar to the material of the ribbon.

In this embodiment, the tail 113 is provided at the other end of the ribbon 110, may be inserted into the hollow 121a according to an embodiment to be described later, and may be formed to have a narrower width than the width of one end of the ribbon 110 so that the knot 113b is formed. However, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated shape, and all shapes having a length and width capable of inserting into the hollow 121a and forming a knot can be included.

Hereinafter, examples of various shapes of a plurality of flags 111 of a golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 3A-3D. FIGS. 3A-3D are partially enlarged views illustrating a plurality of flags of a golf club for training according to the embodiment described with reference to FIG. 2.

Referring to FIGS. 3A-3D, flags 111a, 111b, 111c, 111d, and 111e of different shapes can be identified. In this embodiment, the length between the flags can be made differently. The shape of the flag can also be made into a curved surface. The shape of the flag may be made to be sharp. Two or more different flag shapes may be made in combination. However, the present invention is not limited to the above described examples, and all shapes of flags 111a, 111b, 111c, 111d, and 111e capable of preventing rotation of the ribbon 110 when swinging may be included.

Hereinafter, examples of various shapes of the ribbon 110 of the golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 4A and 4B. FIGS. 4A and 4B are front views illustrating a ribbon of a golf club for training according to the embodiment described with reference to FIG. 2.

Referring to FIGS. 4A and 4B, one end of the ribbon 110 of the golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention may be diagonally cut 115. As one end of the ribbon 110 is diagonally cut 115, the ribbon can be further prevented from rotating when swinging, and accordingly, air resistance can be secured when swinging to provide a more stable auditory effect. However, the present invention is not limited to the above described embodiments, and the diagonal cutting 115 that can further prevent the ribbon from rotating when swinging and the diagonal cutting 115 of all angles formed by the side ends of the ribbon 110 can be included.

In this embodiment, projections 117 may be formed at the ends of the plurality of flags 111. Since the projection 117 is formed at the end of the flag, it is possible to maximize the auditory effect in the impact motion when swinging. In the impact motion, while the projection 117 collides with the ground or the floor pad for swing training, an effect sound similar to hitting a golf ball with an actual golf club may be generated. That is, it is possible to maximize the auditory effect than when colliding only a plurality of flags 111, in which the projection 117 does not exist.

In this embodiment, the projection 117 may be formed by coating a plastic. An additional member may be connected to the flag to form a projection 117. The projection 117 of the same material as the floor pad for swing training may be formed. However, the present invention is not limited to the above example, and all the projections 117 having a shape capable of maximizing the auditory effect in the impact motion when swinging may be included.

Hereinafter, the head portion 120 of the golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 5A and 5B. FIGS. 5A and 5B are side views for describing the head portion of the golf club for training according to the embodiment described with reference to FIG. 1.

Referring to FIGS. 5A and 5B, a lamp 123 may be included in an upper portion of the head portion 120 of a golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention. According to some embodiments to be described later, the lamp 123 may be operated to indicate whether the swing trajectory of the user is normal. In this embodiment, as the lamp 123 is positioned in the upper portion of the head portion 120, the user can visually recognize whether the swing trajectory of the user is normal without separate equipment. In this embodiment, the lamp 123 may include an LED. The lamp 123 may include a plurality of LEDs. That is, a plurality of colors can be expressed by a combination of LEDs as well as ON/OFF of one color. However, the present invention is not limited to the above example, and all light sources that can be visually recognized by the user at the upper portion of the head portion 120 when swinging may be included. Furthermore, the lamp 123 in the present invention is not fixed to the upper portion of the head portion 120, and can be formed in all portions of the golf club for training that the user can visually check when swinging, especially in the address and impact motion.

The upper portion of the head portion 120 of the golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention may be formed of silicon. Since the upper portion of the head portion 120 is formed of silicon, it can act as a buffer when an unexpected impact. In this embodiment, the head portion 120 may be formed of a transparent colored material. The color of the lamp 123 positioned in the upper portion of the head portion 120 can be transmitted to the user without distortion. In this embodiment, the upper portion of the head portion 120 may be connected to the connection portion 121 in a bolt/nut coupling manner. It is possible to replace the upper portion of the head portion 120 so that the rest of the golf club for training can be reused when the lamp 123 fails. Furthermore, by allowing the upper portion of the head portion 120 to be detachable, the ribbon 110 can be easily attached to and detached from the head portion 120 in an embodiment to be described later. However, the present invention is not limited to the above example.

The head portion 120 of the golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a connection portion 121. In this embodiment, the connection portion 121 may be formed with a hollow (121a) on the outer circumferential surface. In this embodiment, the connection portion 121 may be connected to one end of the shaft 130. In this embodiment, the connection portion 121 may be formed in a hollow cylindrical shape. In this embodiment, the connection portion 121 may be connected to the upper portion of the head portion 120 in a bolt/nut coupling manner. The connection portion 121 may be separated from the upper portion of the head portion 120, the connection portion 121 corresponds to a hollow cylinder, and by forming a hollow 121a on the outer circumferential surface of the connection portion 121, the ribbon 110 can be easily coupled. However, the shapes of all the connection portions 121 having the above characteristics may be, included in the present invention, and are not limited to the illustrated shapes.

Hereinafter, a method of fastening the ribbon using the hollow 121a of the golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 6A and 6B. FIGS. 6A and 6B are exemplary views for describing a method of fastening the ribbon using the hollow of the golf club for training according to the embodiment described with reference to FIG. 5.

Referring to FIGS. 6A and 6B, the tail 113 may be inserted into the hollow 121a from the outside of the connection portion 121 to the inside. The connection portion 121 may be formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, and the upper portion of the head portion 120 and the connection portion 121 may be separated, and thus the inserted tail 113a may be taken out as shown. The knot 113b may be formed as shown in the inserted tail 113a to prevent the tail 113 from falling out of the hollow 121a. By easily detaching the ribbon 110 from the head portion 120 using the tail 113 of the ribbon 110 and the hollow 121a, it can be easily attached and detached without adding a separate configuration. Accordingly, the manufacturer can reduce the production cost, and the user can attach and detach the ribbon 110 without consuming much effort and cost.

Hereinafter, the handle portion 140 and the sensor portion 150 of the golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 7. FIG. 7 is a partially enlarged view and an exploded view for describing the handle portion and the sensor portion of the golf club for training according to the embodiment described with reference to FIG. 1.

Referring to FIG. 7, a sensor portion 150 may be included in a golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the sensor portion 150 may include a 9-axis attitude measurement sensor. The 9-axis attitude measurement sensor may be configured with a 3-axis acceleration sensor, a 3-axis gyro sensor, and a 3-axis earth magnetic field sensor. In this embodiment, the sensor portion 150 may output a signal for sensing the motion of an object in three dimensions by a 9-axis attitude measurement sensor. Therefore, it is possible to grasp the user's motion, the swing trajectory, and the angle between the shaft 130 and the ground by using the signal output from the sensor portion 150. However, the sensor portion 150 of the present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment, and may include all sensors that output signals for sensing the motion of an object in three dimensions. Furthermore, the position of the sensor portion 150 is not limited to the illustrated position, and may be formed at any position on the golf club for training to grasp the motion and swing trajectory of the user.

The handle portion 140 may be included in the golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the handle portion 140 may be made of rubber. In another embodiment, the handle portion 140 may be made of elastomer. However, the material of the handle portion 140 is not limited to the illustrated material, and all materials used in the manufacturing of the actual golf club grip may be included in the material of the handle portion 140.

In this embodiment, the handle portion 140 may include a vibrator 141 that generates a vibration signal corresponding to the swing trajectory of the user using a signal output from the sensor portion. As shown in this embodiment, a plurality of vibrators 141 may be included. The vibrator 141 may be formed in a grip portion of the handle portion 140. However, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated shape, and may be formed at any position of the handle 140 that allows the user to recognize the vibration signal corresponding to the swing trajectory of the user. By providing the vibrator 141 in the handle potion 140, it is possible for the user to determine whether it corresponds to an appropriate swing trajectory by using tactile sense.

Hereinafter, with reference to FIG. 8, an example of various methods for a user to determine the appropriateness of a swing by using a golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail. FIG. 8 is an exemplary view for describing a method for a user to determine the appropriateness of a swing using the golf club for training according to the embodiment described with reference to FIG. 1.

Referring to FIG. 8, the golf swing motion goes through six motion processes. This includes address 210, backswing 220, top 230, downswing 240, impact 250 and follow swing 260.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the lamp 123, by using a signal output from the sensor portion 150, may display a first color when the swing trajectory corresponds to the reference range, and display a second color when the swing trajectory does not correspond to the reference range. As described above, it is possible to determine in a visual method whether the swing trajectory is normal by positioning the lamp 123 in the upper portion of the head portion 120. Since the swing trajectory can be grasped by using the signal output from the sensor portion 150, the first color may be displayed when it corresponds to the reference range of the preset normal swing trajectory, and the second color may be displayed when it is outside the reference range. Therefore, the user can recognize the color displayed on the lamp 123, and determine whether the swing trajectory is normal without separate equipment. In this embodiment, the first color and the second color are not limited to a specific color.

In this embodiment, the vibrator 141, by using the signal output from the sensor portion 150, may vibrate when the user's motion corresponds to the address motion 210 and the angle between the shaft 130 and the ground corresponds to the reference angle, and may vibrate when the user's motion corresponds to the impact 250 and the angle between the shaft 130 and the ground corresponds to the reference angle. Conventional golf clubs for training use a magnet to generate a hitting sound when a force above a reference centrifugal force occurs. However, since the conventional golf club for training generates a corresponding hitting sound even when a normal address 210 motion is not formed and the swing trajectory is also outside the normal range, it was not an effective device for beginner's training. In this embodiment, the user's motion and the angle between the shaft 130 and the ground can be grasped by the signal output from the sensor portion 150, and when the angle between the shaft 130 and the ground corresponds to a preset reference angle during the address 210 motion, vibration occurs, so that the user can start swinging according to the corresponding vibration signal. Further, during the impact 250 motion, vibration also occurs when it corresponds to a preset reference angle, so that the user can recognize that a normal swing has been made when the corresponding vibration signal occurs.

In this embodiment, both the above described lamp and vibrator can be included. The user can determine for himself whether the swing trajectory is normal using the tactile sense as well as the vision without separate equipment.

FIGS. 9A and 9B are side views for describing the head portion of the golf club for training according to the embodiment described with reference to FIG. 1.

Referring to FIGS. 9A and 9B, the head portion 120 of the golf club for training according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a connection portion 121. In this embodiment, the connection portion 121 may be formed with a ring (121b) on the outer circumferential surface.

By easily detaching the ribbon 110 from the head portion 120 using the tail 113 of the ribbon 110 and the ring 121b, it can be easily attached and detached without adding a separate configuration. Accordingly, the manufacturer can reduce the production cost, and the user can attach and detach the ribbon 110 without consuming much effort and cost.

Although the operations are shown in a specific order in the drawings, those skilled in the art will appreciate that many variations and modifications can be made to the preferred embodiments without substantially departing from the principles of the present invention. Therefore, the disclosed preferred embodiments of the invention are used in a generic and descriptive sense only and not for purposes of limitation. The scope of protection of the present invention should be interpreted by the following claims, and all technical ideas within the scope equivalent thereto should be construed as being included in the scope of the technical idea defined by the present disclosure.

Claims

1. An apparatus for training golf comprising:

a shaft;
a head portion provided at one end of the shaft; and
a ribbon detachably coupled to the head portion,
wherein the ribbon includes a plurality of flags formed at one end of the ribbon.

2. The apparatus for training golf of claim 1,

wherein the one end of the ribbon is cut diagonally.

3. The apparatus for training golf of claim 1,

wherein a projection is formed at an end of the flag.

4. The apparatus for training golf of claim 3,

wherein the projection is plastic coated.

5. The apparatus for training golf of claim 1,

wherein the head portion is formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, and includes a connection portion, in which a hollow is formed on an outer circumferential surface, and
wherein the ribbon includes a tail that is provided at the other end of the ribbon, can be inserted into the hollow, and has a width narrower than a width of the one end of the ribbon so that a knot is formed.

6. The apparatus for training golf of claim 1 further comprises,

a sensor portion for detecting a swing trajectory of a user,
wherein the head portion includes a lamp for operating to indicate whether the swing trajectory of the user is normal using a signal output from the sensor portion.

7. The apparatus for training golf of claim 6,

wherein the lamp, by using a signal output from the sensor portion, displays a first color if the swing trajectory corresponds to a reference range and displays a second color if the swing trajectory does not correspond to the reference range.

8. The apparatus for training golf of claim 7 further comprises,

a handle portion provided at the other end of the shaft,
wherein the handle portion includes a vibrator for generating a vibration signal corresponding to the swing trajectory of the user by using a signal output from the sensor portion.

9. The apparatus for training golf of claim 8,

wherein the vibrator, by using a signal output from the sensor portion, vibrates when a motion of the user corresponds to an address motion and an angle between the shaft and a ground corresponds to a reference angle, and vibrates when a motion of the user corresponds to an impact and an angle formed between the shaft and the ground corresponds to the reference angle.

10. The apparatus for training golf of claim 1,

wherein the head portion is formed of silicone.

11. The apparatus for training golf of claim 1,

wherein the head portion is formed of a transparent colored material.

12. The apparatus for training golf of claim 1,

wherein the head portion includes a connection portion formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, in which a hollow is formed on an outer circumferential surface, and
wherein the connection portion and an upper portion of the head portion are connected by a bolt/nut coupling method.

13. The apparatus for training golf of claim 1,

wherein the ribbon is made of leather.

14. The apparatus for training golf of claim 1,

wherein the plurality of flags are formed by cutting a plurality of times from one end of the ribbon to the other end direction.

wherein the plurality of flags have the same material as the ribbon.
