Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to an atomizer device for a cap, and in particular to an atomizer device that is combinable, in a detachable or undetachable manner, with a cap for dissipating heat around the cap.

2. The Related Arts

Due to change of the global weather, weather is becoming extremely hot. Although air-conditioning is used for handling high temperature in an indoor space, it is often that no proper measure can be taken to lower temperature and keep cool in an outdoor space and this often leads to discomfort of human bodies and even causing heatstroke due to the high temperature. Certain devices or measures, such as cold-keeping pads, cool scarfs, and portable fans, are available in the market for being carried by a user to make the user feel cool. The known cold-keeping pads can only make a user feel cool and comfortable by being held in hands or being placed in pockets to be close to the skin, and they do not work for an extended period. The portable fans are generally inconvenient for carrying and may be easily lost, making the utilization poor.

It is commonly known that spraying water mist on and around a human body (the face, in particular) could allow minute water particles to contact the skin and to lower the surrounding temperature so as to achieve a desired effect of heat dissipation, eventually providing a comfortable feeling of cooling to the human body in the high temperatures of summertime.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an atomizer device that is combinable with a cap for dissipating heat around the cap so that when the cap is worn by a user, water mist is sprayed out from a lower rim of a cap body to thereby provide an effect of cooling and heat dissipating in the hot summertime.

A technical solution adopted in the present invention to achieve the above objective includes a carrier that is formed in an interior thereof with a water storage space; at least one opening that is formed in a bottom of the carrier and in communication with the water storage space; an ultrasonic wave generation circuit that is arranged in the carrier, an electric cell supplying electrical power to the ultrasonic wave generation circuit; and at least one ultrasonic oscillator that is arranged in the at least one opening of the carrier and is connected, through conductor wires, to the ultrasonic wave generation circuit. The ultrasonic wave generation circuit generates an ultrasonic wave signal that drives the ultrasonic oscillator to generate ultrasonic wave energy to cause vibration of water in the opening to form atomized water particles that form a water mist sprayed out of the at least one opening.

In the above device, the carrier has an outer edge that is provided with a hooking member, and the hooking member is engageable with and hooks on a flange of the cap body when the carrier is mounted to the cap body.

In the above device, the carrier comprises a front mounting section, which is positioned on and supported by a visor top of the cap body, the front mounting section having two ends each being combined with a pivot member; and two side-surrounding sections, which are pivotally mounted to the two ends of the front mounting section by the pivot members, respectively, each of the side-surrounding sections being formed therein with a water storage space.

In the above device, the carrier is formed with a water filling inlet in communication with the water storage space, and water is filled through the water filling inlet into the water storage space.

In another embodiment of the present invention, combination thereof to a circumferential bottom rim of a cap body is made in an undetachable manner, and the same effect can be achieved.

Concerning efficacy, in the present invention, the ultrasonic oscillator generates high-frequency vibration wave energy, which causes vibration of water to form tiny particles that make water mist, and the water mist is sprayed out through an opening arranged in an lower side of a cap body so as to provide functions of lowering temperature, humidifying, and causing air to flow around the face of a user.

A specific technical solution that is adopted in the present invention will be described in detail in the following with reference to the embodiments provided below and the attached drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, FIG. 1 is a side elevational view showing an atomizer device combinable with a cap according to a first embodiment of the present invention; and FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the atomizer device according to the first embodiment of the present invention. The first embodiment of the present invention comprises a carrier 1, which is combinable, in a detachable manner, with a circumferential bottom rim 21 of a cap body 2. The carrier 1 is provided with at least one ultrasonic oscillator 3. The ultrasonic oscillator 3 is operable to generate water mist that is sprayed out from the circumferential bottom rim 21 of the cap body 2.

Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, which are respectively a top view and a bottom view of the first embodiment of the present invention, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the carrier 1 comprises a front mounting section 11, a left-side surrounding section 12, and a right-side surrounding section 13, wherein the front mounting section 11 is positioned on and supported by a visor top 22 of the cap body 2.

The front mounting section 11 has an outer edge to which a hooking member 4 or other connecting member of a similar or equivalent function is mounted, so that the carrier 1, when to be attached to the cap body 2, is positioned by the hooking member 4 hooking and positioned on a flange of the cap body 2.

The left-side surrounding section 12 and the right-side surrounding section 13 are pivotally connected to two ends of the front mounting section 11 by means of pivot members 121, 131, respectively, so as to provide the carrier 1 with flexibility or adaptability for attaching and combining with various types of cap.

FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing the atomizer device according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view, in an enlarged form, showing the ultrasonic oscillator 3 mounted to the carrier 1. Taking the left-side surrounding section 12 of the carrier 1 as an example for illustration, the left-side surrounding section 12 is formed, in an interior thereof, with a water storage space 122, and the left-side surrounding section 12 is formed, in a bottom thereof, with at least opening 123 in communication with the water storage space 122. The left-side surrounding section 12 is also formed with a water filling inlet 124, together with a water plug 125, in communication with the water storage space 122 to enable filling of water through the water filling inlet 124 in to the water storage space 122 for water replenishment.

The front mounting section 11 of the carrier 1 is provided, in an interior thereof, with an ultrasonic wave generation circuit 5 and an electric cell 6. The electric cell 6 supplies electrical power that drives operation of the ultrasonic wave generation circuit 5. The front mounting section 11 is provided, at suitable locations, with a switch 51, an indicator light 52, and an electric charging port 53 that are in electrical connection with the ultrasonic wave generation circuit 5. The switch 51 controls activation and deactivation of the ultrasonic wave generation circuit 5; the indicator light 52 is operable to display an operation status of the ultrasonic wave generation circuit 5; and the electric charging port 53 allows the electric cell 6 to be re-charged by a charging circuit.

The opening 123 of the left-side surrounding section 12 of the carrier 1 is provided with an ultrasonic oscillator 3 mounted therein, and the ultrasonic oscillator 3 is connected, through conductor wires, to the ultrasonic wave generation circuit 5.

The ultrasonic oscillator 3 can be for example a piezoelectric ceramic ultrasonic oscillator to realize atomization and formation of water mist. As shown in FIG. 6, the ultrasonic oscillator 3 comprises a metallic vibration plate 31 that is in an annular form, a ceramic plate 32, and a plastic body 33, wherein the metallic vibration plate 31 is formed with multiple tiny pores 34 extending in a vertical direction.

When the switch 51 is actuated, the ultrasonic wave generation circuit 5 is put into operation and generate an ultrasonic wave signal that drives the ultrasonic oscillator 3 to generate high-frequency vibration wave energy, so that water stored in the water storage space 122, when passing through the multiple tiny pores 33 of the metallic vibration plate 31, is subjected to vibration by the high-frequency vibration wave energy to break into tiny particles that make water mist and is sprayed out of the opening 123 to form the water mist 7. The water mist 7 sprayed by the ultrasonic oscillator 3 is set up around the face of the user wearing the cap body to provide functions of lowering temperature, humidifying, and causing air to flow around the face of the user.

FIG. 8 is a side elevational view showing a second embodiment of the present invention is combined with a cap body. The structure of the instant embodiment is generally similar to that of the first embodiment and for consistency, identical parts/components are designated with the same reference numerals. In the instant embodiment, a difference resides in that the carrier 1 is combined with the cap body 2 in an undetachable manner (such as sewing or being integrally formed with the cap body) to form a cap having a function of spraying water mist. Thus, in the instant embodiment, there is no need for the hooking member 4 or other fastening elements.

The above embodiments are provided to illustrate and explain the present invention, and they are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. Equivalent modifications or substitutes that do not depart from the spirit of the present invention are considered falling in the scope of the appended claims.
