Lower Body Shaper
A lower body shaper is an apparatus that contours a body into an hourglass shape and facilitates an hourglass shape by encouraging specific areas of the body to sweat. The apparatus serves as a universal garment for various body shapes and is adjustable for each size. The apparatus includes a waistband, a left hip strap, a right hip strap, a left thigh band, and a right thigh band. The waistband band, the left hip strap, the right hip strap, the left thigh band, and the right thigh band wrap around the corresponding body parts of a user and encourage sweating. The apparatus further includes at least one left fastening strap and at least one right fastening strap which, together, serve as a waist trainer for the body. In order to accommodate the curves of the user and accentuate the desired hourglass shape of the body for the user.
The current application is a continuation-in-part (CIP) application of a U.S. non-provisional application Ser. No. 16/888,729 filed on May 31, 2020. The U.S. non-provisional application Ser. No. 16/888,729 claims a priority to a U.S. provisional application Ser. No. 62/854,866 filed on May 30, 2019.
FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention generally relates to exercise accessories. More specifically, the present invention is a lower body shaper.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONCurrently, the hourglass shape is the ideal feminine form. However, it is not easy to achieve this ideal feminine form unless the hourglass shape comes naturally. Body fat distribution is different for each person and is typically genetic. A quick and easy solution to achieving this ideal feminine form is to have elective surgery for implants or liposuction depending on the natural form. This is not a cheap and especially natural method of achieving this ideal feminine form. Lifting weights and performing certain exercises is a more preferable method of achieving this ideal feminine form but may still requires assistance based on each natural form. Targeting specific muscle growth and localizing fat loss is not quick nor easy and is usually seen after progress in overall physical fitness.
It is therefore an objective of the present invention is to provide a body shaper that facilitates the achievement of a desired hourglass shape. The present invention is a wearable garment designed to help users train their bodies to a desired shape. The present invention comprises a structure preferably designed to target the stomach area, the buttocks, and thigh area of a user. The present invention is preferably made of neoprene to retain the temperature of the body and apply the body heat back to the desired areas. The present invention servers as a waist trainer, thigh trainer, butt enhancer and pelvic support. Furthermore, the thigh portion of the body shaper comprises a staggered strapping system which allows for a much snugger fit around the thigh areas of the user.
All illustrations of the drawings are for the purpose of describing selected versions of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
The present invention is a lower body shaper. The present invention contours the body into a desire hourglass shape. The present invention encourages sweating at specific areas of the body. Furthermore, the present invention slightly compresses specific areas of the body in order to target specific muscles and encourage the specific muscles to work harder during exercise. In order to create an hourglass shape, the present invention comprises a waistband 1, a left hip strap 7, a right hip strap 8, a left thigh band 11, and a right thigh band 16, seen in
The overall configuration of the aforementioned components effectively shapes the body of a variety of users. In order for the abdomen of a user to be positioned within the waistband 1, the first band end 2 is positioned opposite the second band end 3 along the waistband 1, as seen in
The overlap of the second band end 3 over the first band end 2 is secured while wrapped around the abdomen of a user as the present invention may further comprise a first hook-and-loop fastener 21, seen in
In order to achieve a small waist for the desired hourglass shape, the present invention further may comprise at least one left fastening strap 24 and at least one right fastening strap 25 which together compresses the waist of a user, as seen in
It is understood that in alternate embodiments of the present invention, the inner band surface 5 of the at least one left fastening strap 24 is positioned adjacent with the outer band surface 6 of the waistband 1 while the inner band surface 5 of the at least one right fastening strap 25 is positioned adjacent with the outer band surface 6 of the at least one left fastening strap 24. This arrangement for alternate embodiments of the present invention allows the at least one right fastening strap 25 to overlap with the at least one left fastening strap 24. In order for the at least one right fastening strap 25 to be secured around the waist of the user, the free strap end 29 of the at least one right fastening strap 25 is releasably attached with the free strap end 29 of the at least one left fastening strap 24.
Similar with the waistband 1, the present invention may further comprise a second hook-and-loop fastener 30, seen in
In a first embodiment of the present invention, the garment is a single piece, as seen in
In a second embodiment of the present invention, the garment is separable, as seen in
In order for the left thigh band 11 to be wrapped around left thighs of varying sizes, the left thigh band 11 comprises a third band end 12 and a fourth band end 13, as seen in
In order to secure the desired position of the third band end 12 with the right band end, the present invention further may comprise a plurality of first fasteners 34, also seen in
Similar with the left thigh band 11, in order for the right thigh band 16 to be wrapped around right thighs of varying sizes, the right thigh band 16 may comprise a fifth band end 17 and a sixth band end 18, seen in
In order to secure the desired position of the fifth band end 17 with the sixth band end 18, the present invention may further comprise a plurality of second fasteners 37, also seen in
A desired hourglass shape is further accentuated as the present invention further may comprise a left butt-receiving indent 40. Furthermore, the left thigh band 11 comprises a first lengthwise edge 14 and a second lengthwise edge 15. The left butt-receiving indent 40 allows the left butt-cheek to remain uninhibited by the present invention. The first lengthwise edge 14 is positioned adjacent with the butt of a user. The second lengthwise edge 15 is positioned adjacent with the knee of the user. More specifically, the first lengthwise edge 14 is positioned opposite the second lengthwise edge 15 across the left thigh band 11. In order for the left hip strap 7 to connect the left thigh band 11 with the waistband 1, the left hip strap 7 is positioned adjacent with the first lengthwise edge 14. The left butt-receiving indent 40 is integrated along the first lengthwise edge 14, thereby accommodating the natural position and form of the left butt-cheek. Moreover, the left butt-receiving indent 40 is positioned adjacent with the central widthwise axis 4 of the waistband 1 as the left butt-cheek is positioned along the backside of the user.
Similarly, the desire hourglass shape is further accentuated as the present invention may further comprise a right butt-receiving indent 41. Furthermore, the right thigh band 16 comprises a third lengthwise edge 19 and a fourth lengthwise edge 20. The right butt-receiving indent 41 allows the right butt-cheek to remain uninhibited by the present invention. The third lengthwise edge 19 is positioned adjacent with the butt of the user. The second lengthwise edge 15 is positioned adjacent with the knee of the user. More specifically, the third lengthwise edge 19 is positioned opposite the fourth lengthwise edge 20 across the right thigh band 16. In order for the right hip strap 8 to connect the right thigh band 16 with the waistband 1, the right hip strap 8 is positioned adjacent with the third lengthwise edge 19. The right butt-receiving indent 41 is integrated along the third lengthwise edge 19, thereby accommodating the natural position and form the right butt-cheek. Moreover, the right butt-receiving indent 41 is positioned adjacent with the central widthwise axis 4 of the waistband 1 as the right butt-cheek is positioned along the backside of the user.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
