BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE 1. Field of the Invention

The present disclosure relates generally to ladies' shapewear and more particularly to a combination of an adjustable corset, an adjustable bra, and an adjustable panty adapted to be worn in combination or separately.

2. Description of Related Art

Garments improving the shape of a woman, often referred to as shapewear, help boost a woman's confidence by flattering her figure. For the most part, women's shapewear undergarments available today require the purchase of multiple separate shapewear garments to address problem areas that are not located in one region. For example, addressing an area on the waist may require a waist trainer, but addressing the bust may require the use of a separate bra.

Unfortunately, since fat does not deposit uniformly for every individual, some areas may require more tightening than other areas of the body. A major problem with shapewear is that there can be only one adjustment system to tighten or loosen the shapewear. This means that a user cannot selectively target a problem area and tighten that area only, instead the entire shapewear must be tightened, which may lead to discomfort. What is needed, therefore, is a shapewear garment having detachable parts and adjustable zones to accommodate.

Finally, the cut and trim of many of these traditional garments force the fat to be displaced. This can result in additional bulges, around the bra line or waist, for example, creating unsightly rolls of fat, rather than providing a smooth, streamlined appearance. Therefore, there is a need for an adjustable product to comfortably contour a woman's figure; while also remaining configurable as to which sections the user wishes to utilize.

These and other disadvantages exist.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present disclosure relates generally to a shapewear apparatus and methods for constructing the same. Particularly, examples of the present disclosure relate to an adjustable shapewear garment and methods for constructing the same. An exemplary example of the present disclosure can provide a real-time adjustable garment comprising a first adjustable region, a second adjustable region, a third adjustable region, an adjustment system, wherein the adjustment system can be disposed on the first, second and third adjustment regions, and an attachment system, the attachment system can be disposed on the first and third adjustable regions.

In any example disclosed herein, the real-time adjustable garment can further comprise a bra, a first strap, the first strap can be configured to detachably attach to the bra, and a second strap, the second strap can be configured to detachably attach to the bra, wherein the attachment system can be further disposed on the first strap, the second strap and the bra, wherein the adjustment system can be further disposed on the first strap, the second strap and the bra, and wherein the bra can be configured to detachably attached to the first adjustment region using the attachment system.

In any example disclosed herein, wherein the first and second strap can be configurable in to one of: crisscross, strapless, or standard wear configurations.

In any example disclosed herein, the real-time adjustable garment can further comprise a panty, wherein the adjustment system can be further disposed on the panty; and wherein the attachment system can be further disposed on the panty.

In any example disclosed herein, wherein the panty includes at least one opening.

In any example disclosed herein, the real-time adjustable garment can further comprise a fourth adjustable region, the fourth adjustable region can include a first panel and a second panel; wherein a first portion of the attachment system can be further disposed on the first panel; wherein a second portion of the attachment system can be disposed on the second panel; and wherein the first and second panel can be configured to envelope the first, second and third adjustable regions.

In any example disclosed herein, wherein the construction of the garment can comprise at least one from among: elastane, nylon, or polyester.

In any example disclosed herein, wherein the adjustment system can be configured to be adjustable through an outer garment.

In any example disclosed herein, wherein the adjustment system can comprise at least one from among: buttons, toggles, studs, snap fasteners, poppers, eyelets, buckles, zippers, hook and loop, frogging, hooks and eyes, magnets, grommets, brooches, safety pins, fabric ties or laces.

Another exemplary example of the present disclosure can provide a method for constructing a real-time adjustable apparatus, the method can comprise constructing a first region and a second region; attaching, on the first region, a first adjustment mechanism which can be configured to adjust the first region; attaching, on the second region, a second adjustment mechanism which can be configured to adjust the second region; attaching, on the first region and the second region, a garment connection mechanism; and attaching the first region to the second region.

In any example disclosed herein, the method can further comprise constructing a bra, the bra can include a bra connection mechanism which can be configured to attach to the garment connection mechanism; and attaching, on the bra, a bra adjustment mechanism which can be configured to adjust the bra.

In any example disclosed herein, the method can further comprise constructing a panty, the panty can include a panty connection mechanism which can be configured to connect to the garment connection mechanism; and attaching, on the panty, a panty adjustment mechanism which can be configured to adjust the panty.

In any example disclosed herein, the method can further comprise constructing a third region; attaching, on the third region, a third adjustment mechanism which can be configured to adjust the third region; attaching, on the third region, the garment connection mechanism; and attaching the third region to one or more of the first region or the second region.

As discussed above, since fat does not deposit uniformly for every individual, some areas may require more tightening than other areas of the body. A major problem with shapewear is that there can be only one adjustment system to tighten or loosen the shapewear. This means that a user cannot selectively target a problem area and tighten that area only, instead the entire shapewear must be tightened, which may lead to discomfort in non-problem areas.

In contrast to previous developments in shapewear technology, the present disclosure can provide an improved adjustable apparatus and methods using detachable parts, for example, a bra, a panty and a corset. The modularity allows the user to target, for example, their stomach area using the corset while leaving the bra and panty detached. The improved adjustable apparatus can also use adjustment zones, for example, a first zone and a second zone associated with the corset, with each zone having its own adjustment system. The zones allow for extra control in targeting problem areas, for example, if the lower stomach area is a problem area, the user may only tighten the zone associated with that area.

Reference will now be made in detail to examples of the disclosed technology, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings and disclosed herein. Wherever convenient, the same references numbers will be used throughout the drawings to refer to the same or like parts.

FIG. 1 is an illustration of an example of an adjustable apparatus 100. The components and arrangements shown in FIG. 1 are not intended to limit the disclosed examples as the components used to implement the disclosed processes and features may vary. In accordance with disclosed examples, the adjustable apparatus 100 can include a first zone 110, a second zone 120, a third zone 130, an adjustment system 140, and a connection system 150.

In examples, the first zone 110 can include a top portion 110a, a bottom portion 110b, and a moveable layer 112. The moveable layer 112 can include an inner portion 114, and a base portion 116. In examples, the base portion 116 can be attached to the moveable layer 112. Alternatively, the base portion 116 can be integral to the moveable layer 112.

In examples, the second zone 120 can include a top portion 120a, a bottom portion 120b, and a moveable layer 122. The moveable layer 122 can include an inner portion 124, and a base portion 126. In examples, the base portion 126 can be attached to the moveable layer 122. Alternatively, the base portion 126 can be integral to the moveable layer 122.

In examples, the third zone 130 can include a top portion 130a, a bottom portion 130b, and a moveable layer 132. The moveable layer 132 can include an inner portion 134, and a base portion 136. In examples, the base portion 136 can be attached to the moveable layer 132. Alternatively, the base portion 116 can be integral to the moveable layer 132.

In examples, the adjustable apparatus 100 can only include two zones. In other examples, the adjustable apparatus 100 can include three or more zones. At least one of the first zone 110, second zone 120 and/or the third zone 130 can be constructed out of one or more of spandex, silk, cotton, plastic, steel, lace, hosiery, natural fibers or synthetic fibers.

The adjustment system 140 can be disposed on the first zone 110. The adjustment system 140 can include a first portion 144a, disposed on the moveable layer 112 and a second portion 142a, disposed on the base portion 116. In examples, the first portion 144a can be configured to receive the second portion 142a. In other examples, the first portion 144a can be configured to be inserted into the second portion 142a. In yet another example, the first portion 144a can be configured to detachably attach to the second portion 142a. The first zone 110 can be adjusted (i.e. tightened and/or loosened) by stretching and/or relaxing the moveable layer 112 to detachably attach the first portion 144a of the adjustment system 140 to the second portion 142a of the adjustment system 140. The first portion 144a and second portion 142a can be configured to provide varying degrees of adjustment. In an example, the second portion 142a can include a first mechanism at a first location on the base portion 116, and a second mechanism at a second location on the base portion 116. The first portion 144a of the adjustment system 140 can be detachably attached to the first mechanism of the second portion 142a to provide a first degree of adjustment. The first portion 144a of the adjustment system 140 can be detachably attached to the second mechanism of the second portion 142a to provide a second degree of adjustment. One of skill in the art would appreciate that adjustment system 140 can be configured to provide multiple degrees of adjustment. In examples, adjustment system 140 can provide continuous degrees of adjustment by detachably attaching the first portion 144a to the base portion 116 at any suitable location on the base portion 116.

The adjustment system 140 can additionally or alternatively be disposed on the second zone 120. The adjustment system 140 can include a first portion 144b, disposed on the moveable layer 122 and a second portion 142b, disposed on the base portion 126. In examples, the first portion 144b can be configured to receive the second portion 142b. In other examples, the first portion 144b can be configured to be inserted into the second portion 142b. In yet another example, the first portion 144b can be configured to detachably attach to the second portion 142b. The second zone 120 can be adjusted (i.e. tightened and/or loosened) by stretching and/or relaxing the moveable layer 122 to detachably attach the first portion 144b of the adjustment system 140 to the second portion 142b of the adjustment system 140. The first portion 144b and second portion 142b can be configured to provide varying degrees of adjustment. In an example, the second portion 142b can include a first mechanism at a first location on the base portion 126, and a second mechanism at a second location on the base portion 126. The first portion 144b of the adjustment system 140 can be detachably attached to the first mechanism of the second portion 142b to provide a first degree of adjustment. The first portion 144b of the adjustment system 140 can be detachably attached to the second mechanism of the second portion 142b to provide a second degree of adjustment. One of skill in the art would appreciate that adjustment system 140 can be configured to provide multiple degrees of adjustment. In examples, adjustment system 140 can provide continuous degrees of adjustment by detachably attaching the first portion 144b to the base portion 126 at any suitable location on the base portion 126.

The adjustment system 140 can additionally or alternatively be disposed on the third zone 130. The adjustment system 140 can include a first portion 144c, disposed on the moveable layer 132 and a second portion 142c, disposed on the base portion 136. In examples, the first portion 144c can be configured to receive the second portion 142c. In other examples, the first portion 144c can be configured to be inserted into the second portion 142c. In yet another example, the first portion 144c can be configured to detachably attach to the second portion 142c. The second zone 130 can be adjusted (i.e. tightened and/or loosened) by stretching and/or relaxing the moveable layer 132 to detachably attach the first portion 144c of the adjustment system 140 to the second portion 142c of the adjustment system 140. The first portion 144c and second portion 142c can be configured to provide varying degrees of adjustment. In an example, the second portion 142c can include a first mechanism at a first location on the base portion 136, and a second mechanism at a second location on the base portion 136. The first portion 144c of the adjustment system 140 can be detachably attached to the first mechanism of the second portion 142c to provide a first degree of adjustment. The first portion 144c of the adjustment system 140 can be detachably attached to the second mechanism of the second portion 142c to provide a second degree of adjustment. One of skill in the art would appreciate that adjustment system 140 can be configured to provide multiple degrees of adjustment. In examples, adjustment system 140 can provide continuous degrees of adjustment by detachably attaching the first portion 144c to the base portion 136 at any suitable location on the base portion 136.

The adjustment system 140, can include one more of the following: buttons, toggles, studs, snap fasteners, poppers, eyelets, buckles, zippers, hook and loop, frogging, hooks and eyes, magnets, grommets, brooches, safety pins, stress-relief mechanisms, strain-relief mechanisms, fabric ties and laces or any combination thereof. Further, aspects of the adjustment system 140 can be adjustable without the need to reach under or remove an outer garment, for example, a ball gown or dress. This allows the user to adjust the apparatus 100 discreetly and instantly in response to the user's changing needs for comfort. This is desirable because most women may wait until they are in a restroom and may have to remove their outer garment before making such adjustments. In examples, the user can activate a mechanism that exposes aspects of the adjustment system 140 that are otherwise concealed, allowing the user to adjust the apparatus 100. In other examples, the user can interact with aspects of the adjustment system 140 that conform to the shape of the apparatus 100 and are therefore inconspicuous to an outside observer.

The connection system 150 can be disposed on one or more of: the first zone 110, the second zone 120 and/or the third zone 130. The connection system 150 can include a bra connector 152, and a panty connector 154. In examples, the bra connector 152 can be configured to receive a connection attachment associated with a bra. In other examples, the bra connector 152 can be configured to be inserted into a connection receptacle associated with the bra. In yet another example, the bra connector 152 can be configured to detachably attach to the connection attachment associated with the bra or the connection receptacle associated with the bra. In examples, the bra connector 152 can be configured to connect with a connector associated with the bra. In examples, the panty connector 154 can be configured to receive a connection attachment associated with a panty. In other examples, the panty connector 154 can be configured to be inserted into a connection receptacle associated with the panty. In yet another example, the panty connector 154 can be configured to detachably attach to the connection attachment associated with the panty or the connection receptacle associated with the panty. In examples, the panty connector 154 can be configured to connect with a connector associated with the panty. The connection system 150, can include one more of the following: buttons, toggles, studs, snap fasteners, poppers, eyelets, buckles, zippers, hook and loop, frogging, hooks and eyes, magnets, grommets, brooches, safety pins, fabric ties, stress-relief mechanism, strain-relief mechanisms, laces or any combination thereof.

In examples the connection system 150 can be disposed on the first zone 110, the second zone 120 or the third zone 130. In examples, the connection system 150 can be disposed on the top portion 110a of the first zone 110 and the bottom portion 120b of the second zone 120. In another example, the connection system 150 can be disposed on the top portion 110a of the first zone 110 and the bottom portion 130b of the third zone 130.

In examples, the first zone 110 can be detachably attached to the second zone 120. In other examples, the first zone 110 can be detachably attached to the second zone 120, and the second zone 120 can be detachably attached to the third zone 130. In examples, the connection system 150, can be disposed in such a way as to detachably attach each of these zones. In other words, the connection system 150 can be disposed on the bottom portion 110b of the first zone 110 and the top portion 120a of the second zone 120. Similarly, the connection system 150 can further be disposed between the bottom portion 120b of the second zone 120 and the top portion 130a of the third zone 130a. In examples, one or more zones can be integrally attached. The inclusion on the connection system 150 between each zone can serve to confine adjustments made in specific zones to that zone, for example, an adjustment made in the first zone 110, need not be reflected in the second zone 120. In other examples, an adjustment in one zone can partially adjust another zone, for example, tightening the first zone 110 can slightly tighten the second zone 120.

FIG. 2 illustrates an example of an adjustable garment 200 utilizing a concealment mechanism 260. In examples, adjustment mechanism 240 may not conceal irregularities that may develop from tightening the garment 200. It is therefore desirable to conceal these fat rolls using the concealment mechanism 260.

The adjustable garment 200 can include a first region 210, a second region 220, a third region 230, the adjustment mechanism 240, a connection mechanism 250, and the concealment mechanism 260.

In examples, the first zone 210 can include a top portion 210a and a bottom portion 210b.

In examples, the second zone 220 can include a top portion 220a and a bottom portion 220b.

In examples, the third zone 230 can include a top portion 230a and a bottom portion 230b.

In examples the adjustable garment 200 can include two of: the first zone 210, the second zone 220, or the third zone 230. In other examples, the adjustable garment 200 can include three or more zones. In other examples, at least one of the first zone 210, second zone 220 and/or the third zone 230 can be constructed out of one or more materials, for example, spandex, silk, cotton, plastic, steel, lace, hosiery, nylon, natural fibers or synthetic fibers.

The adjustment mechanism 240 can include a first portion 242 disposed on the first zone 210. In examples, the first portion 242 can be configured to adjust the first zone 210. The adjustment mechanism 240 can have a continuous adjustable interval, for example, using lace and grommets. The adjustment mechanism 240 can have discreet intervals of adjustability, for example, using buttons.

The adjustment mechanism 240 can include a second portion 244 disposed on the second zone 220. In examples, the second portion 244 can be configured to adjust the second zone 220. The adjustment mechanism 240 can have a continuous adjustable interval, for example, using lace and grommets. The adjustment mechanism 240 can have discreet intervals of adjustability, for example, using buttons.

The adjustment mechanism 240 can include a third portion 246 disposed on the third zone 230. In examples, the first portion 246 can be configured to adjust the third zone 230. The adjustment mechanism 240 can have a continuous adjustable interval, for example, using lace and grommets. The adjustment mechanism 240 can have discreet intervals of adjustability, for example, using buttons.

The adjustment mechanism 240 can include one more of the following: buttons, toggles, studs, snap fasteners, poppers, eyelets, buckles, zippers, hook and loop, frogging, hooks and eyes, magnets, grommets, brooches, safety pins, stress-relief mechanisms, strain-relief mechanisms, fabric ties and laces or any combination thereof. Further, aspects of the adjustment mechanism 240 can be adjustable without the need to reach under or remove an outer garment, for example, a ball gown or dress. This allows the user to adjust the garment 200 discreetly and instantly in response to the user's changing needs for comfort. This is desirable because most women may wait until they are in a restroom and may have to remove their outer garment to make such adjustments. In examples, the user can activate a mechanism that exposes aspects of the adjustment mechanism 240 that are otherwise concealed, allowing the user to adjust the garment 200. In other examples, the user can interact with aspects of the adjustment mechanism 240 that conform to the shape of the garment 200 and are therefore inconspicuous to an outside observer.

The connection mechanism 250 can be disposed on one or more of: the first zone 210, the second zone 220 or the third zone 230. The connection mechanism 250 can include a bra connector 252, and a panty connector 254. In examples, the bra connector 252 can be configured to receive a connection attachment associated with a bra. In other examples, the bra connector 252 can be configured to be inserted into a connection receptacle associated with the bra. In yet another example, the bra connector 252 can be configured to detachably attach to the connection attachment associated with the bra or the connection receptacle associated with the bra. In examples, the bra connector 252 can be configured to connect with a connector associated with the bra. In examples, the panty connector 254 can be configured to receive a connection attachment associated with a panty. In other examples, the panty connector 254 can be configured to be inserted into a connection receptacle associated with the panty. In yet another example, the panty connector 254 can be configured to detachably attach to the connection attachment associated with the panty or the connection receptacle associated with the panty. In examples, the panty connector 254 can be configured to connect with a connector associated with the panty. The connection mechanism 250 can have a continuous adjustable interval, for example, using lace and grommets. The connection mechanism 250 can have discreet intervals of adjustability, for example, using buttons. The connection mechanism 250, can include one more of the following: buttons, toggles, studs, snap fasteners, poppers, eyelets, buckles, zippers, hook and loop, frogging, hooks and eyes, magnets, grommets, brooches, safety pins, fabric ties, stress-relief mechanism, strain-relief mechanisms, laces or any combination thereof.

In examples the connection mechanism 250 can be disposed on the first zone 210, the second zone 220 or the third zone 230. In examples, the connection mechanism 250 can be disposed on the top portion 210a of the first zone 210 and the bottom portion 220b of the second zone 220. In another example, the connection mechanism 250 can be disposed on the top portion 210a of the first zone 210 and the bottom portion 230b of the third zone 230.

In examples, the first zone 210 can be detachably attached to the second zone 120. In other examples, the first zone 210 can be detachably attached to the second zone 220, and the second zone 220 can be detachably attached to the third zone 130. In examples, the connection mechanism 250, can be disposed in such a way as to detachably attach each of these zones. In other words, the connection system can be disposed on the bottom portion 210b of the first zone 210 and the top portion 220a of the second zone 220. Similarly, the connection mechanism 250 can further be disposed between the bottom portion 220b of the second zone 220 and the top portion 230a of the third zone 230a. In examples, one or more zones can be integrally attached. The inclusion on the connection mechanism 250 between each zone can serve to confine adjustments made in specific zones to that zone, for example, an adjustment made in the first zone 210, need not be reflected in the second zone 220. In other examples, an adjustment in one zone can partially adjust another zone, for example, tightening the first zone 210 can slightly tighten the second zone 220.

Aspects of the connection mechanism 250 can be disposed on the concealment mechanism 260, as discussed below. In examples, it is contemplated that aspects of the adjustment mechanism 240 can also be disposed on the concealment mechanism 260. In other examples, it is contemplated that the concealment mechanism 260 can include one or more adjustable zones.

The concealment mechanism 260 can include a first panel 262 and a second panel 264. In examples, the concealment mechanism 260 can contain a first panel 262. The first panel 262 can include a first panel connector 256 of the of the connection mechanism 250. The second panel 264 can include a second panel connector 258 of the connection mechanism 250. In examples, the first panel connector 256 can be configured to receive the second panel connector 258. In other examples, the first panel connector 256 can be configured to be inserted into the second panel connector 258 In yet another example, the first panel connector 256 can be configured to detachably attach to the second panel connector 258. The first panel 262 and the second panel 264 can be constructed out of one or more materials, for example, spandex, silk, cotton, plastic, steel, lace, hosiery, nylon, natural fibers or synthetic fibers. In examples including the first panel 262, the first panel 262 can directly connect to one or more of: the first zone 210, the second zone 220, or the third zone 230.

FIG. 3 illustrates a detached configuration of a shapewear apparatus 300. The shapewear apparatus 300 can include a bra 310, a corset 320 and a panty 330. The bra 310 can include an upper portion 312, a bottom portion 314, straps 315 including a first strap 316 and a second strap 317, and a rear portion 318.

The first strap 316 and the second strap 317 can be detachably attached to the upper portion 312 of the bra 310 and the rear portion 318 of the bra 310. In examples, the straps 315 can be configured in a standard wear configuration. The standard wear configuration is achieved by having each strap detachably attached to both the upper portion 312 of the bra 310 and the rear portion 318, and having the straps 315 simply loop over each shoulder such that the first strap 316 and the second strap 317 do not overlap or cross when connected to the rear portion 318. In another example, the crisscross configuration, the straps 315 can be detachably attached to both the upper portion 312 of the bra 310 and the rear portion 318, however, both the first strap 316 and the second strap 317 can overlap or crisscross with respect to each other when connected to the rear portion 318. In yet another example, the straps 315 can be detached from the bra 310 to achieve a strapless configuration. The first strap 316 and the second strap 317 can be constructed from one or more materials including: spandex, silk, cotton, plastic, steel, lace, hosiery, natural fibers or synthetic fibers. In examples, the straps 315 can have the connection system 350 disposed on them and configured to received additional accessories, for example, arm shapers.

The corset 320 can include an upper portion 322 of the corset 320 and a lower portion 324 of the corset 320. The corset 320 can be constructed from one or more materials including: spandex, silk, cotton, plastic, steel, lace, hosiery, natural fibers or synthetic fibers. In yet another example, the corset 320 can be a waist trainer. The corset 320 can be constructed to provide comfort, support and shape to the user. The upper portion 322 of the corset 320 and the lower portion 324 of the corset 320 can be reinforced to accommodate the connection system 350 discussed later. The corset 320 can be reinforced to accommodate the adjustment system 340 discussed below.

The adjustment system 340, can be disposed on one or more of the bra 310, the straps 315, the corset 320, or the panty 330. The adjustment system 340, disposed on the panty 330 can be configured to expand or contract a waist diameter of the panty 330. The adjustment system 340, disposed on the bra 310 can be configured to expand or contract a bust diameter of the bra 310. The adjustment system 340 can include one or more adjustment devices that can be used to adjust the fit of the shapewear apparatus 300 to the user's comfort. It will be understood that the adjustment system 340 can further include: lace, hook and loop fasteners, buttons, snap buttons, adjustment rings, clips, clamps or any combination thereof. The adjustment system 340 can be disposed on the front, rear or side of the corset 320. Further, aspects of the adjustment system 340 can be adjustable without the need to reach under or remove an outer garment, for example, a ball gown or dress. This allows the user to adjust the apparatus 300 discreetly and instantly in response to the user's changing needs for comfort. This is desirable because most women may wait until they are in a restroom and may have to remove their outer garment before making such adjustments. In examples, the user can activate a mechanism that exposes aspects of the adjustment system 340 that are otherwise concealed, allowing the user to adjust the apparatus 300. In other examples, the user can interact with aspects of the adjustment system 340 that conform to the shape of the apparatus 300 and are therefore inconspicuous to an outside observer.

The connection system 350 can be attached to one or more of the bra 310, the straps 315, the corset 320 or the panty 330. The connection system 350 can include fasteners. It will be understood that fasteners can further include one or more of: hook and loop, buttons, snap buttons, zippers, grommets and lace, or the like. The connection system 350 can be attached to at least the lower portion 314 of the bra 310 and the upper portion 322 of the corset 320. This allows the corset 320 to detachably attach or detach from the bra 310, allowing multiple configurations for the user to select from a single garment. In examples, the connection system 350 can be further included on the lower portion 324 of the corset 320 and an upper portion 332 of the panty 330. This allows the panty 330 to detachably attach to the corset 320. In another example, the connection system 350 can be disposed on a lower portion 334 of the panty 330 to further extend the shapewear apparatus 300 to accommodate additional accessories, for example, compression leggings. In yet another example, the connection system 350 can be disposed on straps 315 to further extend the shapewear apparatus 300 to accommodate additional accessories, for example, arm shapers.

FIG. 4 illustrates a method 400 for constructing the shapewear garment 200.

At block 402, construct at least a first zone 210 and a second zone 220. Attach the first zone 210 to the second zone 220. In an example, an additional third zone 230 can be constructed. In another example, a bra 310 with straps can be constructed. In yet another example, a panty 330 can also be constructed.

At block 404, an adjustment mechanism 240 can be attached to at least one of the first zone 210 or the second zone 220. In examples, the adjustment mechanism 240 can further be disposed on the bra 310, the panty 330 or straps 315. Further, aspects of the adjustment mechanism 240 can be adjustable without the need to reach under or remove an outer garment, for example, a ball gown or dress. This allows the user to adjust the garment 200 discreetly and instantly in response to the user's changing needs for comfort. At block 406, a connection mechanism 250 can be attached to at least one of the first zone 210 or the second zone 220. In examples, the connection mechanism 250 can further be disposed on the bra 310, the panty 330 or straps 315. In other examples, the connection mechanism 250 can be disposed on a concealment mechanism 260.

At block 408, the concealment mechanism 260 can optionally be attached to the shapewear garment 200. The concealment mechanism 260 can be attached to the at least one of: the first zone 210 or the second zone 220. In examples, the adjustment mechanism 240 can be attached to the concealment mechanism 260.

While certain examples of this disclosure have been described in connection with what is presently considered to be the most practical and various examples, it is to be understood that this disclosure is not to be limited to the disclosed examples, but on the contrary, is intended to cover various modifications and equivalent arrangements included within the scope of the appended claims. Although specific terms are employed herein, they are used in a generic and descriptive sense only and not for purposes of limitation.

Claims

1. A real-time adjustable garment comprising:

a bra;
a first strap configured to detachably attach to the bra;
a second strap configured to detachably attach to the bra;
a first adjustable region;
a second adjustable region;
a third adjustable region;
an adjustment system disposed on the first strap, the second strap, the bra, the first adjustable region, the second adjustable region, and the third adjustment region; and
an attachment system disposed on the first strap, the second strap, the bra, the first adjustable region and the third adjustable region;
wherein the bra is configured to detachably attach to the first adjustment region using the attachment system.

2. The garment of claim 1, wherein the first strap and the second strap are configurable to one of crisscross, strapless, or standard wear configurations.

3. The garment of claim 2 further comprising a panty;

wherein the adjustment system is further disposed on the panty; and
wherein the attachment system is further disposed on the panty.

4. The garment of claim 3, wherein the panty includes at least one opening.

5. The garment of claim 4 further comprising a fourth adjustable region including a first panel and a second panel;

wherein a first portion of the attachment system is disposed on the first panel;
wherein a second portion of the attachment system is disposed on the second panel; and
wherein the first and second panel are configured to envelope the first, second and third adjustable regions.

6. The garment of claim 5, wherein the construction of the garment comprises at least one from among elastane, nylon, and polyester.

7. The garment of claim 6, wherein the adjustment system is configured to be adjustable through an outer garment.

8. The garment of claim 7, wherein the adjustment system comprises one or more of buttons, toggles, studs, snap fasteners, poppers, eyelets, buckles, zippers, hook and loop, frogging, hooks and eyes, magnets, grommets, brooches, safety pins, fabric ties or laces.

9. The garment of claim 8, wherein the attachment system comprises at least one from among: buttons, toggles, studs, snap fasteners, poppers, eyelets, buckles, zippers, hook and loop, frogging, hooks and eyes, magnets, grommets, brooches, safety pins, fabric ties and laces.

10. A real-time adjustable garment comprising:

a first adjustable region;
a second adjustable region;
a third adjustable region;
an adjustment system disposed on the first adjustable region, the second adjustable region, and third adjustment region; and
an attachment system disposed on the first adjustable region and third adjustable region.

11. The garment of claim 10 further comprising:

a bra;
a first strap configured to detachably attach to the bra; and
a second strap configured to detachably attach to the bra;
wherein the attachment system is further disposed on the first strap, the second strap and the bra;
wherein the adjustment system is further disposed on the first strap, the second strap and the bra;
wherein the bra is configured to detachably attach to the first adjustment region using the attachment system; and
wherein the first strap and the second strap are configurable to one of crisscross, strapless, or standard wear configurations.

12. A method for constructing a real-time adjustable apparatus comprising:

constructing a first region and a second region;
attaching, on the first region, a first adjustment mechanism configured to adjust the first region;
attaching, on the second region, a second adjustment mechanism configured to adjust the second region;
attaching, on the first region and the second region, a garment connection mechanism; and
attaching the first region to the second region.

13. The method of claim 12 further comprising:

constructing a bra, the bra including a bra connection mechanism configured to attach to the garment connection mechanism; and
attaching, on the bra, a bra adjustment mechanism configured to adjust the bra.

14. The method of claim 12 further comprising:

constructing a panty, the panty including a panty connection mechanism configured to connect to the garment connection mechanism; and
attaching, on the panty, a panty adjustment mechanism configured to adjust the panty.

15. The method of claim 12 further comprising:

constructing a third region;
attaching, on the third region, a third adjustment mechanism configured to adjust the third region;
attaching, on the third region, the garment connection mechanism; and
attaching the third region to one or more of the first region or the second region.

16. The method of claim 12 further comprising:

constructing a fourth region, the fourth region including at least one panel;
attaching the fourth region to at least the first region and second region; and
attaching a panel connection mechanism to the fourth region.
