Abstract

The carrier/bag/pouch of the present invention is one that can be accessed quickly and easily and it provides quick and easy access to the items inside. It accomplishes this by virtue of its many structural parameters, including, but not limited to its size, pockets, compartments, its attachment choices, any of these can be such that it can easily be added to any outfit or bag on the way out of the house or the car, motorcycle, etc.

This application claims the benefit of provisional application # 63023062, filed May 11, 2020.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention is in the field of bags and pouches for carrying items, especially ones that you want quick and easy access to.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

There are countless bags and pouches out there for carrying any type of items that can be imagined. These days, with Covid 19 looming behind every corner, we are all fumbling with some new items we have to carry around and need quick and easy access to retrieve, some of these include gloves, masks, sanitizer, credit cards and store rewards cards, etc.

The carrier/bag/pouch of the present invention provides storage and easy transport for these types of items along with others. Additionally, it can be attached to the outside of a user's clothing or other bags/carriers/pouches, etc. so that it can be reached quickly and easily. Further, the structure of the carrier/bag/pouch of the present invention is such that it provides quick and easy access to the items inside.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The carrier/bag/pouch of the present invention is accessed quickly and easily and it provides quick and easy access to the items inside. It accomplishes this by virtue of its many structural parameters, including, but not limited to its size, pockets, compartments, its attachment choices, any of these can be such that it can easily be added to any outfit or bag on the way out of the house or the car, motorcycle, etc.

The carrier/bag/pouch of the present invention can comprise:

• • a structure small enough to be unobtrusive and large enough to carry items desired by the user, the structure having a pocket for cards, phones, notes and/or money, the structure having a first pouch pocket for masks, gloves, money, keys, etc., a second pouch pocket for gloves, a channel for hand sanitizer, a dip and or a loop for attaching the pouch to the user or other items being carried by the user.

The carrier/bag/pouch of the present invention can comprise a kit which can comprise:

• • a carrier/bag/pouch having a structure small enough to be unobtrusive and large enough to carry items desired by the user, the structure having a pocket for cards, phones, notes and/or money, the structure having a first pouch pocket for masks, gloves, money, keys, etc., a second pouch pocket for gloves, a channel for hand sanitizer, a clip and or a loop for attaching the pouch to the user or other ems being carried by the user;
  • at least one mask; and
  • at least one glove.

When the pouch is made of a stretchy material, like the 4-way stretchy material in the example, it's like the entire pouch is elastic-fied and it functions to keep its contents in, so it retains the gloves and the mask (money, keys, etc.) and the sanitizer, or whatever the user chooses to carry in the pouch.

The carrier/bag/pouch of the present invention can comprise:

• • a structure small enough to be unobtrusive and large enough to carry items desired by the user, the structure having a pocket for cards, phones, notes and/or money, the structure having a first pouch pocket for masks, gloves, money, keys, etc., a second pouch pocket for gloves, a channel for hand sanitizer, a clip and or a loop for attaching the pouch to the user or other items being carried by the user.

The carrier/bag/pouch of the present invention can comprise:

a carrier/bag/pouch having a first compartment for holding a hand sanitizer, the hand sanitizer having a cover or spray cap, the first compartment having an access opening for the cover or spray cap of the hand sanitizer,

• • The first compartment can have space to carry other objects in addition to the hand sanitizer, e.g., for holding gloves/PPE (personal protective equipment);
  • The first compartment can have a front and a back;
  • The first compartment can have a front pocket (or second compartment) on the front of the first compartment, e.g., a front pocket for holding a mask/PPE (personal protective equipment);
  • The first compartment can have a back pocket (or third compartment) on the back of the first compartment, e.g., a back pocket for holding items/PPE (personal protective equipment);
  • The first compartment can have a covering flap for covering the front pocket/compartment, the covering flap can extend from the front, back or sides of the first compartment;
  • The covering flap can have an inner side facing the front pocket of the first compartment, and an outer side,
  • The covering flap can have an inside pocket (or fourth compartment) on the inner side of the covering flap, e.g., the pocket/compartment can be transparent, for holding cards;
  • The first compartment can have a right side and a left side;
  • the access opening for the cover or spray cap of the hand sanitizer can be on the right side or left side of the first compartment;
  • the first compartment can have a hook and eye strap, e.g., Velcro®, the hook and eye strap including hook or eye sections attached to the first compartment and a removable hook or eye section attached to the first portion of the strap, the hook and eye strap being structured to hold at least one item between the hook portion and the eye portion of the strap, the hook and eye strap can be attached to the left side or right side of the first compartment;
  • and any or all of these structures (compartments, pockets, etc.) and ems (bottles, gloves, masks, etc.) can form a kit as well.
  • The invention can also include one or more of the following: a lanyard, belt loop, clip (e.g., lobster claw, rock climbing caribineer), and/or strap(s) for waist and/or arm, shoulder and/or cross body.

Other structural parameters further distinguish the invention can include an easily accessible, front-facing card holder, to slide out cards for easy access, but also with the option of a cover, as shown in the figures, to help prevent loss of the cards. Also further distinguishing the invention can include a specialized pocket/stuff sack for the mask and gloves to keep them protected by the carrier/bag/pouch, yet very easily accessed through the opening, which might be elasticized to help keep it closed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIG. 1 is a front view of one embodiment of a pouch showing pocket for credit cards, store cards, ID or money. This example shown with optional clear plastic to show what is inside. This example also shown with optional flap on top, being held by Velcro® to help keep things from falling out, although other fasteners or closing methods can be used. Also shown is optional tab at top of pouch with hook for hanging pouch on anything desired, other bags, belt loops, etc.;

FIG. 2 shows the view of the pouch of FIG. 1 with the store card shown partially slid out. Also shown is one of the mating Velcro® pieces to keep the optional flap closed to help keep things from falling out. Although other fasteners or closing methods can be used;

FIG. 3 shows a view of the pouch of FIG. 1 flipped open; the card holder portion shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has been flipped up and over and is now lying upside down at the top of the figure. Also shown are optional mating Velcro® tabs to help keep the pouch from being flipped open when not desired, although other fasteners or closing methods, besides Velcro® can be used. Also shown is the small pocket for masks, gloves, money, keys, etc. With Velcro® to help keep flap in place and protect things inside the pocket once flap is flipped over as shown in FIG. 1, although other closing methods can be used. In an alternative embodiment, the pouch can be a single piece, without flipping open, and the card holder portion can be simply attached to the front of the of the other pouch piece, instead of folding away separately from it;

FIG. 14 shows more detail of an optional clip, or hook to attach to a belt, pants, pocketbook, luggage, etc. with an optional longer loop to slide through your belt, fanny pack, etc., shown on top of the pouch of FIG. 1, but can be located anywhere on the pouch as is convenient;

FIG. 15 shows an optional necklace, or over-head string to carry the pouch around your neck by attaching it to the loop or clip on the pouch of FIG. 1;

FIG. 16 shows various different items that have been shown in the pouch or with the pouch in FIGS. 1-15, but these are intended to be non-limiting examples since clearly the pouch can carry, store and transport a variety of other items as well.

In the examples shown in FIGS. 1-16, the pouch was made out of a 4-way stretch nylon fabric, which really helps contain the items stowed in the pouch, with a clear plastic and plastic or metal hook plus Velcro®. The examples shown in FIGS. 17-28 also use a 4-way stretch nylon fabric for the pouch. However, any suitable bag or pouch material can be used to make the invention, such as one or more of the following: cloth, fabric, nylon, cotton, spandex, acrylic, wool, rayon, water-resistant material, water-repellant material, elastic material, plastic, straw, canvas, paper, Tyvek, leather, imitation leather, etc.

FIG. 17 shows a front view of another embodiment of the invention. The pouch 10 is shown with clip 12 on the top thereof with a lanyard 14 being attached to the clip 12. The clip 12 can be as shown or any other type of clip, e.g., carabiner, etc. and the lanyard can also be a belt loop (not shown here). Also seen is front cover 16 and cap 18 of sanitizer bottle 20 emerging from access opening 22. A bottle 20, containing sanitizer or other substance, can be inserted into the first compartment 24 of the pouch 10 (shown in other FIGS.) and the cap 18 can be stuck through access opening 22 for easy access to the sanitizer other substance) from outside of the pouch 10.

FIG. 18 shows a front view of a variation of the embodiment of FIG. 17 where lanyard 14 is replaced by heft loop 15. Clip 12 can include both or either lanyard 14 or heft loop 15. Alternatively, the lanyard 14, belt loop 15 or other carrying attachment can be secured directly to the pouch 10 as shown in FIG. 22.

FIG. 19 shows a front interior open view of pouch 10 with front cover 16 flipped up to show an optional pocket/compartment 28 on the inside of front cover 16, here a double slotted transparent pocket compartment 28 is shown as an example. Also shown is second pocket/compartment 30 on the front of first pocket/compartment 24. Two examples of personal protective equipment (PPE) which can be stored in pouch 10 are shown. Gloves 32 are shown in first pocket/compartment 24 and a mask 34 is shown in second pocket/compartment 30.

FIG. 20 shows a perspective left side view of pouch 10 of the embodiment of FIG. 18, Shown on the outside of the left side of pouch 10 is fastening strap 36. The fastening strap 36 shown in FIG. 20 includes a Velcro® hook and loop mating fastener, but other types of fasteners, such as buttons, or snaps (not shown) could be used instead. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 20, the loop part/section of the fastening strap is attached to the side of pouch 10 and the hook section/part of the fastening strap is releasably attached thereto. The fastening strap 36 can hold various PPE (gloves, mask, etc.) and non-PPE (keys, lip gloss, eye drops, money, etc.). Alternatively, or additionally, fastening strap 36 can be used to attach pouch 10 to a belt, strap, hook, etc. of an article of clothing or another accessory (belt, backpack, fanny pack, etc.).

FIG. 21 shows a perspective right side view of pouch 10 of the embodiment of FIG. 18. Shown on the outside of the right side of pouch 10 is access opening 22 with cap 18 of bottle 20 sticking out therefrom for easy access to the bottle's contents.

FIG. 22 shows a back view of pouch 10 of the embodiment of FIG. 18. Shown on the outside of the back of pouch 10 is a compartment/pocket 38, which can include a lipstick 40, as shown, or any variety of PPE or other non-PPE.

FIG. 23 shows several of the views shown in prior FIGS. These are shown together in one figure for convenience in viewing them together.

FIG. 24 shows another embodiment of the pouch carried on a belt/waist strap 42. The belt/waist strap 42 can be used together with the pouch in any of the embodiments shown or described.

FIG. 25 shows an alternative belt/waist strap 44 which can include a zippered pouch 100. The belt/waist strap 44 can be used together with the pouch in any of the embodiments shown or described. Additionally, the pouch in any of these embodiments can be carried in the zippered pouch 100.

FIG. 26 shows a front view of the embodiment of FIG. 25.

FIG. 27 shows a front view of pouch 10 together with a variety of PPE and non-PPE items that can fit in pouch 10.

FIG. 28 shows a perspective front view of an embodiment of the invention with straps 46 attached to pouch 10. Although FIG. 28 shows multiple straps 46 as straps 1 and 2, the invention can include one, both or either of these straps 46. The straps 46 can be elastic and/or have a buckle to attach the pouch 10 to a body part of the user, such as the waist, leg, arm or wrist. Alternatively, the straps 46 can be used as a shoulder or cross-body strap for use in carrying pouch 10.

Claims

1. A pouch comprising:

a structure small enough to be unobtrusive and large enough to carry items desired by the user, the structure having a pocket for cards, phones, notes and/or money, the structure having a first pouch pocket for masks, gloves, money, keys, etc., a second pouch pocket for gloves, a channel for hand sanitizer, a clip and or a loop for attaching the pouch to the user or other items being carried by the user.

2. A kit comprising:

a pouch having a structure small enough to be unobtrusive and large enough to carry items desired by the user, the structure having a pocket for cards, phones, notes and/or money, the structure having a first pouch pocket for masks, gloves, money, keys, etc., a second pouch pocket for gloves, a channel for hand sanitizer, a dip and or a loop for attaching the pouch to the user or other items being carried by the user;

at least one mask; and

at least one glove.

3. A pouch having a first compartment for holding a hand sanitizer, the hand sanitizes having a cover or spray cap, the first compartment having an access opening for the cover or spray cap of the hand sanitizer.

4. The pouch of claim 3, further comprising the first compartment having space to carry other objects in addition to the hand sanitizer;

the first compartment having a front and a back;

the first compartment having a front pocket on the front of the first compartment.

5. The pouch of claim 4, further comprising a back pocket on the back of the first compartment.

6. The pouch of claim 4, further comprising a covering flap, attached to the first compartment and covering the front pocket, the covering flap being attached to and extending from the back of the first compartment.

7. The pouch of claim 6, wherein the covering flap has an inner side facing the front pocket of the first compartment, and an outer side; and

the covering flap having an inside pocket on the inner side of the covering flap

8. The pouch of claim 7, wherein the inside pocket is transparent.

9. The pouch of claim 3, wherein the first compartment has a right side and a left side; the access opening for the cover or spray cap of the hand sanitizer being on the right side of the first compartment.

10. The pouch of claim 9, further comprising a hook and loop strap, the hook and loop strap including a hook or loop section attached to the first compartment and a releasable, complimentary, hook or loop section of the hook and loop strap;

the hook and loop strap being structured to hold at least one item between the hook section and the loop section of the strap.

11. The pouch of claim 10, wherein the hook and loop strap is attached to the left side of the first compartment.

12. The pouch of claim 3, further comprising at least one of the following: a lanyard, belt loop, clip and/or a strap for waist and/or arm, shoulder and/or cross body.
