ADJUSTMENT STRUCTURE OF UPWARD-OPENING ABRASIVE CLOTH ROLLERS
An upward-opening abrasive cloth roller has a roller below the abrasive cloth. The system has: a support frame mounted on a machine, a roller is disposed on the support frame, a hollow panel is mounted on the machine, and the first side of the panel is pivotally connected to the machine. The two ends of the support frame are respectively provided with individual height adjustment structures, and a panel level adjustment structure is mounted on the machine on below the second side of the panel. With the above two adjustment structures to adjust the level of the roller and the panel, the plate can be easily adjusted for different grinding depths and angles.
The present invention relates to an adjustment structure of upward-opening abrasive cloth rollers, and more particularly to an adjustment structure capable of adjusting the roller and the machine panel.
Description of Related ArtCurrently, the conventional abrasive cloth roller machine comprises a machine with a roller having an abrasive cloth layer, and a conveyor belt located under the roller. By adjusting the distance between the conveyor belt and the roller, the grinding depth of the sheet is controlled. However, the above structure actually has the following disadvantages:
(1) The grinding depth of the sheet is controlled by the distance between the conveyor belt and the roller. To change the distance, the entire conveyor belts needs to be adjusted and it is also necessary to maintain to the level of the conveyor belt, so it is difficult to adjust it finely.
(2) It is known that the abrasive cloth roller machine can only grind plate with parallel surfaces. If the production needs to grind a slope on the plate, it is difficult to achieve and maintain the same reproducibility.
Therefore, it is desirable to provide an adjustment structure of upward-opening abrasive cloth rollers to mitigate and/or obviate the aforementioned problems.
SUMMARY OF INVENTIONAn objective of present invention is to provide an adjustment structure of upward-opening abrasive cloth rollers, which is capable of improving the above-mention problems.
In order to achieve the above mentioned objective, an upward-opening abrasive cloth roller has a roller below the abrasive cloth. The system has: a support frame mounted on a machine, a roller is disposed on the support frame, a hollow panel is mounted on the machine, and the first side of the panel is pivotally connected to the machine. The two ends of the support frame are respectively provided with individual height adjustment structures, and a panel level adjustment structure is mounted on the machine on below the second side of the panel. With the above two adjustment structures to adjust the level of the roller and the panel, the plate can be easily adjusted for different grinding depths and angles.

Furthermore, wherein two sides of each of the first and second positioning members 310, 320 make contact with the first and second slots 211, 212, and both of the first and second positioning members 310, 320 have two parallel vertical sides and two curved ends, which ensures the roller to have only vertical movements.
Moreover, the first and second positioning springs 421, 422 also always maintain the outward stretching tension, so that the roller 10 can maintain precise positioning and allow micro-adjustment. In addition, the first and second positioning blocks 41 and 42 may have more than one positioning groove for accommodating more than one positioning spring.

When the adjustment disk 51 is rotated clockwise, the screw 52 and he supporting member 53 move upward to lift the second end 112 of the panel 11.
Moreover, in order to secure the supporting member, a fourth through hole 102 is disposed above the third through hole 101, the supporting member has a fifth through hole 531, and a screw 54 passes through the fifth through hole 531 and the fourth through hole 102 and engages with a packing screw 55.
According to the above structure, the following advantages can be obtained:
(1) Since the abrasive cloth roller to upward-open, in order to adjust the grinding depth, it only needs to adjust the level of the hollow panel 11 to control the exposed height of the roller 10, and the more of the roller 10 is exposed, the more polished the plate, the more of the grinding depth can be achieved. The effect of changing the inclination angle of the hollow panel 11 can easily change the polishing depth.
(2) In the present invention, the level of the roller 10 can be easily adjusted by rotating the first and the second screws 271, 272, due to the production needs or due to uneven with the machine or floor.
Although the present invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of invention as hereinafter claimed.
Claims
1. An adjustment structure of upward-opening abrasive cloth rollers comprising:
- a supporting frame mounted on a machine, one end of the supporting frame provided with a first slot connected to a first through hole and another end provided with a second slot connected to a second through hole;
- a first wedge block and a second wedge block respectively having a first containment space connected to a first screw hole and a second containment space connected to a second screw hole and disposed respectively in the first and second slots;
- a roller having a first bearing and a second bearing at ends thereof;
- a first positioning member and a second positioning member respectively mounted at an end of the first and second bearings and respectively disposed in the first and second slots;
- a first returning spring and a second returning spring respectively disposed in the first and second containment spaces;
- a first screw passing through the first through hole, the first returning spring, the first screw hole, and engaging with the first wedge block;
- a second screw passing through the second through hole, the second returning spring, the second screw hole, and engaging with the second wedge block;
- a first positioning block mounted above the first slot and having a first positioning groove;
- a first positioning spring disposed in the first positioning groove and pushing against the first positioning member;
- a second positioning block mounted above the second slot and having a second positioning groove; and
- a second positioning spring disposed in the second positioning groove slot and pushing against the second positioning member.
2. The adjustment structure of upward-opening abrasive cloth rollers as claimed in claim 1, wherein two sides of each of the first and second positioning members make contact with the first and second slots and both of the first and second positioning members have two parallel vertical sides and two curved ends.
3. The adjustment structure of upward-opening abrasive cloth rollers as claimed in claim 2, wherein both of the first and second positioning blocks have more than one positioning groove for more than one positioning spring.
4. The adjustment structure of upward-opening abrasive cloth rollers as claimed in claim 1 further comprising:
- a hollow panel having a first end pivoted onto the machine and a second end capable of rotation;
- a third through hole disposed at a sidewall of the machine below the second end of the panel;
- a C-type fixing member disposed inside the sidewall of the machine and having an upper through aperture and a lower through aperture;
- an adjustment disk disposed in the C-type fixing member and partially exposed from the third through hole and having an inner thread;
- a screw passing through the upper through aperture, the adjustment disk, the lower through aperture, and engaging with the adjustment disk; and
- a supporting member secured above the screw and supporting the second end of the panel.
5. The adjustment structure of upward-opening abrasive cloth rollers as claimed in claim 2 further comprising:
- a hollow panel having a first end pivoted onto the machine and a second end capable of rotation;
- a third through hole disposed at a sidewall of the machine below the second end of the panel; a C-type fixing member disposed inside the sidewall of the machine and having an upper through aperture and a lower through aperture; an adjustment disk disposed in the C-type fixing member and partially exposed from the third through hole and having an inner thread; a screw passing the upper through aperture, the adjustment disk, the lower through aperture, and engaging with the adjustment disk; and
- a supporting member secured above the screw and supporting the second end of the panel.
6. The adjustment structure of upward-opening abrasive cloth rollers as claimed in claim 3 further comprising:
- a hollow panel having a first end pivoted onto the machine and a second end capable of rotation;
- a third through hole disposed at a sidewall of the machine below the second end of the panel;
- a C-type fixing member disposed inside the sidewall of the machine and having an upper through aperture and a lower through aperture;
- an adjustment disk disposed in the C-type fixing member and partially exposed from the third through hole and having an inner thread;
- a screw passing the upper through aperture, the adjustment disk, the lower through aperture, and engaging with the adjustment disk; and
- a supporting member secured above the screw and supporting the second end of the panel.
7. The adjustment structure of upward-opening abrasive cloth rollers as claimed in claim 4, wherein a fourth through hole is disposed above the third through hole, the supporting member has a fifth through hole, and a screw passes through the fifth through hole and the fourth through hole and engages with a packing screw.
