Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to electronic cigarette structures, and more particularly, to an electronic cigarette structure which prevents the tar from separation and avoids the leakage of e-liquid.

2. Description of the Related Art

Compared with a conventional cigarette, which mainly produces a smoke through the burning of tobaccos and results in the generation of tar, an electronic cigarette (also known as electronic atomizer) atomizes the e-liquid through a heating process for producing the smoke without directly burning tobaccos, such that the generation of tar is lowered. Currently, more and more smokers replace the conventional cigarettes by electronic cigarettes.

Regarding a known electronic cigarettes in the market, the e-liquid used by it is presented in a liquid status during operation, and the electronic cigarettes has no components applied for absorbing the e-liquid. When the electronic cigarette directly heats the e-liquid for producing smoke, the e-liquid undergoes a chemical change of the tar separation, by which the inhaled smoke imposes adverse effect upon human body. As for another type of known electronic cigarette who has a cotton member for absorbing the e-liquid, the separation of tar is prevented. However, although the cotton member is enclosed by a casing, ordinary casings fail to achieve an optimal sealing effect, especially for a simple and convenient disposable electronic cigarette. Therefore, leakage of e-liquid frequently occurs due to the poor sealing quality of such structures.

Thus, it is desirable to improve the issues above.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The aforementioned and further advantages and features of the present invention will be understood by reference to the description of the preferred embodiment in conjunction with the accompanying drawings where the components are illustrated based on a proportion for explanation but not subject to the actual component proportion.

Referring to FIG. 1 to FIG. 5, an electronic cigarette structure is provided. The electronic cigarette in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention is, for example but not limited to, a disposable electronic cigarette structure which is not reusable. The electronic cigarette structure 100 comprises a casing 10, a cotton body 20, an airflow duct 30, an atomizer, and a cover 50.

The casing 10 comprises an outer shell 11 and an inner shell 12. The inner shell 12 comprises an e-liquid chamber 121, with one end of the inner shell 12 provided with an opening 122 in which is in communication with the e-liquid chamber 121. The inner shell 12 is contained in the outer shell 11, so that only the outer shell 11 is visible on the appearance thereof.

In the embodiment, the outer shell 11 is hollow and comprises a placement bore 111. Also, two ends of the outer shell 11 are open, so that two ends of the outer shell 11 are provided with a first end bore 112 and a second end bore 113, respectively.

The casing 10 has a nozzle 13 disposed on the first end bore 112 and an end cap 14 disposed on the second end bore 113. The end cap 14 is disposed on the second end bore 113, and comprises an intake mouth 141. The nozzle 13 and the end cap 14 positions the inner shell 12 in the outer shell 11.

The housing recess 123 is disposed on a position different from the e-liquid chamber 121, and the housing recess 123 is in communication with the e-liquid chamber 121, wherein the intake mouth 141 is in communication with the housing recess 123.

The cotton body 20 is disposed in the e-liquid chamber 121 of the inner shell 12, so as to absorb the e-liquid. In the embodiment, the cotton body 20 is integrally formed, with an insertion bore 21 disposed at the center thereof, such that the airflow duct 30 is inserted into the insertion bore 21 to be connected with the cotton body 20.

In the embodiment, the airflow duct 30 is formed of a fiberglass material, so as to provide a heat insulation effect. Also, the airflow duct 30 is hollow and provided with a through hole 31 passing through two ends of the airflow duct 30, with the atomizer 40 disposed in the through hole 31 of the airflow duct 30. The e-liquid absorbed by the cotton body 20 is allowed to be conveyed into the through hole 31 and heated to be atomized by the atomizer 40, thereby producing smoke in the through hole 31. The airflow duct 30 is disposed in the e-liquid chamber 121 together with the cotton body 20 combined therewith, and the airflow duct 30 is in communication with the housing recess 123 through the through hole 31.

In a preferred embodiment, the atomizer 40 is a heating wire, which is in a coil shaped in the embodiment. Also, the through hole 31 contains a vape cotton 41 (as shown by FIG. 4). The e-liquid is conveyed into the through hole 31 to be absorbed by the vape cotton 41. When the atomizer 40 heats the e-liquid absorbed by the vape cotton 41, the e-liquid is atomized into smoke in the through hole 31.

For placing the atomizer 40 into the through hole 31 of the airflow duct 30, the airflow duct 30 in the embodiment comprises an incision 32, such that the airflow duct 30 is bent to form a hole at the incision 32 (not shown), whereby the atomizer 40, which wraps the vape cotton 41 is placed into the through hole 31 from the hole at the incision 32. Also, the vape cotton 41 in the airflow duct 30 are positioned at the incision 32 together with the atomizer 40. When the e-liquid absorbed by the cotton body 20 infiltrates from the incision 32, the e-liquid is then absorb by the vape cotton 41. Alternatively, in another embodiment, the vape cotton 41 is allowed to be exposed outward from the airflow duct 30 through the incision 32, such that the vape cotton 41 directly contacts the cotton body 20, whereby the e-liquid is conveyed from the cotton body 20 to the vape cotton 41, keeping the vape cotton 41 containing the e-liquid.

The cover 50 is disposed on the opening 122 for covering the opening 122, so as to enclose the cotton body 20 in the e-liquid chamber 121. Meanwhile, the airflow duct 30 and the atomizer 40 are also enclosed in the e-liquid chamber 121. The cover 50 in the embodiment is formed of a silica gel material. The cover 50 comprises a via hole 51, which is in communication with the through hole 31 of the airflow duct 30. The nozzle 13 comprises an inhale bore 131, which is in communication with the via hole 51. Preferably, the cover 50 comprises a pillar 52, and the via hole 51 passes through the pillar 52. When the cover 50 covers the opening 122, the pillar 52 is inserted into the through hole 31 of the airflow duct 30, such that the via hole 51 is in communication with the through hole 31.

The nozzle 13 in the embodiment comprises a filter material 15 therein. When the atomizer 40 heats the vape cotton 41 wrapped by it for atomizing the e-liquid contained by the vape cotton 41 into smoke in the through hole 31, the user is able to hold the inhale bore 131 nozzle 13 in mouth and inhales. At the moment, the smoke produced in the through hole 31 is filtered by the filter material 15 and sucked out from the via hole 51 into body of the user.

In the embodiment, a power supplier 60 is provided in the housing recess 123 of the inner shell 12. The power supplier 60, in the embodiment, comprises a battery 61 and a rectifier 62 that are electrically connected. The atomizer 40 is wired to the rectifier 62 and is electrically connected with the battery 61, such that the power supplier 60 is electrically connected with the atomizer 40. Thus, the power supplier 60 provides the power needed for the atomizer 40 to heat the e-liquid contained in the vape cotton 41 wrapped by the atomizer 40, and also controls the heating operation of the atomizer 40.

When the user is to inhale the smoke by use of the electronic cigarette structure 100, the user holds the nozzle 13 in mouth and carries out an inhaling motion, due to the negative pressure caused by the inhaling motion, an airflow is produced between the inhale bore 131, the via hole 51, the through hole 31, the housing recess 123, and the intake mouth 141. The power supplier 60 activates the atomizer 40 to heat the e-liquid contained in the vape cotton 41, such that the e-liquid is atomized into smoke in the through hole 31. Next, the smoke in the through hole 31 passes through the filter material 15 together with the negative pressure airflow to be filtered, and subsequently sucked out from the via hole 51 through inhale bore 131 (as shown by FIG. 5) into the user body. When the user stops inhaling, the atomizer 40 stops the heating operation. For activation and deactivation of the operations of the atomizer 40, a switch is allowed to be disposed as a controller, such as an airflow sensor (not shown) disposed in the channel formed by the inhale bore 131, the via hole 51, the through hole 31, the housing recess 123, and the intake mouth 141, such that the airflow sensor senses the airflow status to accordingly activate or deactivate the heating operation of the atomizer 40.

With the foregoing configuration, features of the present invention will be illustrated below. The electronic cigarette structure 100 comprises the cotton body 20 in the e-liquid chamber 121 for absorbing the e-liquid, so as to prevent the tar separation from happening. Also, compared with convention electronic cigarette structures, the e-liquid chamber 121 of the casing 10 is not permanently open and can be covered by the cover 50 for sealing the e-liquid chamber 121. Thus, even for a structurally simple disposable electronic cigarette whose outer shell 11 has poor sealing property, the e-liquid in the e-liquid chamber 121 is still stably sealed and prevented from leakage, such that only the smoke in the atomized in the through hole 31 is allowed to be sucked out from the via hole 51 of the cover 50. Therefore, the e-liquid is prevented from leakage from the casing 10.

Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
