DUAL PHONE CASE
A mobile phone case system may include a first mobile phone case comprising a first module connector; a second mobile phone case comprising a second module connector; and a connecting module that connects with the first module connector and the second module connector.
Mobile phones and handheld devices are in widespread use. The devices are often expensive, leading users to purchase protective phone cases to prevent damage to the phones from dropping or other events that happen during frequent use.
SUMMARYDisclosed herein are apparatuses for multiple mobile phones. A mobile phone case incorporates a module connector. The module connector may be recessed into the mobile phone case or protrude from the mobile phone case. The module connector may include multiple extensions for connecting with a connecting module. The extension may be in the shape of a hook. In another example, A modular mobile phone case system may include a first mobile phone case comprising a first module connector; a second mobile phone case comprising a second module connector; and a connecting module that connects with the first module connector and the second module connector.

Mobile phones may be used for personal or business purposes. Sometimes people combine such purposes on one phone, but often multiple (e.g., two or more) mobile phones may be used in order to separate the usage for business purposes or personal purposes.

In an example, not shown, module connector 129 (or module connector 120) may be a fastener that is located on the side or rear of mobile phone case 106 (or mobile phone case 102). Connecting module 101 may connect to one or more module connectors 129 using such fasteners as disclosed herein. Module connector 129 may be located on rear portion 113 in a position near the edge (e.g., top, bottom, or side edge) of mobile phone case 106, near the middle of phone case 106, or any side of mobile phone case 106.
There may be a holding apparatus (e.g. pocket (recessed or protruding), removable glue, hook-and-loop system, magnets, buttons, other fasteners, or the like) on mobile phone case 102 or mobile phone case 106. The holding apparatus (not shown) may be used to hold one or more connecting modules 101 when not in use. The pocket may be located on rear portion 113 of mobile phone case 106 or the like.
Module 101 may not be the entire length of a phone case and may allow for buttons such as button 131 or button 132 be attached to the side of mobile phone case 106 and mobile phone 102. Button 131 or button 132 may be correspond with power, audio control, or other features of a mobile phone that is inserted in mobile phone case 106 or mobile phone case 102. The modular nature of mobile phone case system 100 may allow for multiple mobile phones to be chained together. It is contemplated that two, three, four, or more mobile phone cases may be connected together at one time. In a case when there are more than two mobile phone cases chained together, it is contemplated that one of the mobile phone cases my have multiple module connectors attached (e.g., mobile phone case 106 may have two module connectors 129 attached). The modular connectors may be connected on any side of mobile phone case 106.
In a contemplated example, the mobile phone case system 100 may the same or similar material for some or all of the components, including connecting module 101, base 101, module connector 120, module connector 129, mobile phone case 102, or mobile phone case 106, among other components. The material used for a mobile phone case system 100 may be hard or solid. It should be understood that the some of the materials may be injection molded or otherwise molded, so that they keep their contemplated form—solid/hard. Contemplated material for one or more components of mobile phone case system 100 may include plastic, polymer material, composite material, graphite material, a metal-based material, a sustainable or “green” material, such as bamboo or a combination thereof.
In summary, disclosed herein is an apparatus that may be used for carrying or protecting mobile phones. The module connector may connect with a connecting module that pivots along a substantially fixed axis. The connecting module may cause the mobile phone case system to pivot along one or more axis. There may be a holding apparatus for holding a connecting module, wherein the module connector may include multiple extensions for connecting with the connecting module. The module connector may be magnetized or connect with the connecting module that is magnetized. The module connector may use a fastener such as an adhesive, or the like as disclosed herein, to connect with a mobile phone case. This may occur often when the mobile phone case does not have a built-in module connector.
Thus, specific applications of a mobile phone case system have been disclosed. It should be apparent, many more modifications besides those already described are possible without departing from the inventive concepts herein. 1. A mobile phone case, the mobile phone case comprising a module connector.
2. The mobile phone case of claim 1, wherein the module connector is recessed into the mobile phone case.
3. The mobile phone case of claim 1, wherein the module connector is protruding from the mobile phone case.
4. The mobile phone case of claim 1, wherein the module connector comprises multiple extensions for connecting with a connecting module.
5. The mobile phone case of claim 1, wherein the module connector comprises an extension for connecting with a connecting module, the extension is in a shape of a hook.
6. The mobile phone case of claim 1, comprising a holding apparatus for holding a connecting module, wherein the module connector comprises multiple extensions for connecting with the connecting module.
7. The mobile phone case of claim 1, wherein the module connector connects with a connecting module that pivots along an axis.
8. The mobile phone case of claim 1, wherein the module connector connects with a connecting module using one or more magnets.
9. The mobile phone case of claim 1, further comprising a fastener for fastening to another mobile phone case.
10. A mobile phone case system comprising:
- a first mobile phone case comprising a first module connector;
- a second mobile phone case comprising a second module connector; and
- a connecting module that connects with the first module connector and the second module connector.
11. The mobile phone case system of claim 10, wherein the first module connector is recessed into the first mobile phone case.
12. The mobile phone case system of claim 10, wherein the first module connector is protruding from the first mobile phone case.
13. The mobile phone case system of claim 10, wherein the first module connector comprises multiple extensions for connecting with the connecting module.
14. The mobile phone case system of claim 10, wherein the first module connector comprises an extension for connecting with a connecting module, the extension is in a shape of a hook.
15. The mobile phone case system of claim 10, comprising a holding apparatus for holding a connecting module, wherein the first module connector comprises multiple extensions for connecting with the connecting module.
