Playing card shuffler lid and box
An apparatus for shuffling playing cards comprise: a box of plastic, metal, or wood, and a top lid comprise a plurality of equally spaced apart external beams and slots arranged between sidewalls of top lid, allow playing cards to be shuffled, base of lid comprises a non-skid surface, and base of said box comprise a substrate with rubber ink printing. To shuffle, drop cards end side down onto lid, so that half rest on the top surface of external said beams, and the other half drop down between beams, into the slots, The raised group of cards resting on the beams are taken hold of with one hand and removed, while the remaining cards are lifted out by the other hand and placed on top of first group of cards to complete the shuffling process, repeat. Additional lid attachments each with a variance in beams and slots width.
An apparatus for shuffling playing cards comprising: a box and lid of plastic, jet mold injection; metal, die cast or one piece billet composite metal or wood, laser etched; top lid portion configure a plurality of slots and beams, extending to sidewalls of said lid, a plurality of slots are equally spaced apart, horizontally, enabling the insertion of a deck of playing cards through said lid, allowing the first group A of cards to align to the beams on top surface of the lid, and the second group B of cards to slide downward into the slots, between the beams, align to inside base of said box. With lid removed and placed on a leveled surface. This process of shuffling cards through the lid, with lid removed and resting on a leveled surface is a faster, in regrades to a timed shuffle, than shuffling with lid attached to said base box, where cards align to the bottom surface inside at base of said box, is less fast, and is a more relaxed shuffle, regarding to a timed shuffle. Either way playing cards can be shuffled in a expedient manner by the use of this apparatus
The specific one twenty-forth of an inch width of the beams and slots allows new to slightly used cards and slightly worn playing card for shuffling, bottom side of box base is a substrate plate with rubberized ink, imprinted on the said plate, for stability while shuffling and for the purpose of advertisement and marketing. A non-skid surface on base of lid to allow stability while shuffling with lid off, for a fast shuffle irregards to a timed shuffle. Additional lid configuration attachments allow thin playing cards to be shuffled, this said attachment comprise beams and slots with a one thirty-second of an inch width for both beams and slots, and an additional attachment lid for the purpose of shuffling old, thick width, worn out and even bent cards to be shuffled, this said wider width attachment comprise beams and slots with a one sixteenth of an inch width for both beams and slots. A lid attachment wherein the slots and beams are in a random order of 1/32″ 1/24″ and 1/16″ of an inch, in width to allow variance of card thicknesses to be shuffled. This random width configuration is comprised in the lid allowing for at least one card of various condition to sided into a slot, between the beams. The apparatus addresses the problem of having beams and slots comprised in the enclosure and prior art comprise beams and slots which are permanently attached to inter sidewall in the enclosure The apparatus can be mass production with a simple non complex jet mold injection production and will allow for a competitive cost to produce. This invention which external lid and various lid attachments shuffling a variant of playing cards is unique from the aspect of shuffling is external.
Remark: This Detailed Specification of Invention Contains no New Matter.Claims
1. A playing card shuffler apparatus comprising:
- a box, a top lid comprise a plurality of external beams and slots extending from sidewalls,
- a plurality of equally spaced apart. beams extending from sidewalls of said lid, wherein the beams each have a. leveled upper surface; configured to enable the insertion of a deck of cards;
- the plurality of beams equally spaced apart, are geometrically shaped comprise the lid;
- slots in lid arranged between pairs of said beams, such that a slot spacing is defined by a spaced apart distance between associated pairs of beams and wherein an upper defined surface of the beams are interleaved between the slots;
- the said slots and beams comprise the lid, arranged to enable the insertion of a deck of cards, wherein group A cards aligning on the said beams, and group B card slide downward into the slots between the beams, which comprise the lid, the cards are divided into separable plurality of card groups with a lower group B passing through the slots and group A resting on the top upper surface of the external beams on the lid, enabling the upper group to be easily separated from the lower group, and placed on top of group B to complete the shuffling process,
2. The apparatus of claim 1, further configured:
- interchangeable lid attachments comprise a plurality of equally spaced apart slots and beams, where slots in lid are arranged between pairs of said beams, such that a slot spacing is defined by a spaced apart distance between associated pairs of beams, each said individual lid attachments comprise a variance of specific inclusive measurement of equally spaced apart beams and slots associate and unique to each individual lid, allowing each lid attachment, insertion of a plurality of a deck of card of a variance of thickness, from thin width and new playing cards to thick width and worn playing cards,
3. The apparatus of claim 1 further configured:
- interchangeable lid attachment comprise a plurality of beams and slots of variances in width arranged in a random order,
4. The apparatus of claim 1 further configured:
- the base of the said box comprise a substrate with printed rubberized type inks for the purpose of marketing, logo images, and shuffling stability
- the base of said lid comprise a non skid surface.
5. The apparatus of claim 1 further configured:
- a base plate configured to fit bottom side of lid attachments, wherein each said base plate securely and universally fastens to the bottom side of each said lid, base plate can be easily removed, at bottom side of base plate comprise a non-skid surface, base plate is for the purpose of shuffling on uneven surfaces.
