The present invention refers to a container for security equipment which comprises an outer casing, an inside cylinder, a belt base and a lower casing.

Description
FIELD OF INVENTION

The present invention is in the field of containers to store and protect equipment for security work such as police or agent security belts.

BACKGROUND TO THE INVENTION

Security agents or police generally wear a special belt in which they can hold all their tools such as pistols, radios, handcuffs, etc. The material of which these belts are generally made is either nylon or leather or a combination of both and due to the rough treatment it is given, this belt may wear out quickly which may mean a risk to the physical integrity of the officer who wears it and to the people around him, as well as potential damage to the equipment it holds such as weapons or any other security equipment. One of the most common reasons of wear and tear in this type of equipment is its being stored in the wrong way. This is due to the leather or nylon being subject to unnecessary folding or force which may cause the belt to fray in certain parts or even break.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

It is the object of the present invention to provide a container for security work equipment such as a belt for the police or any security agent in which the security equipment is kept in its natural position.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a container for security work equipment in which a belt can be kept naturally, that is to say, round or circular.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a container for security work equipment in which can be kept a belt with all the necessary equipment for the security work of the agent who uses it, such as might be a firearm, a radio, some handcuffs, etc, without the need to remove these elements in order to store the belt.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention refers to a container for security work equipment which comprises an exterior casing, an interior cylinder, a belt base and a lower casing.

The exterior case closes by means of a zipper with the lower casing to protect the security work equipment found inside the container.

Inside the exterior casing and the lower casing is found the belt base and the interior cylinder.

The inside cylinder is a cylindrical structure which has a diameter of sufficient length so that the security belt maybe placed around it in a secure and adjusted manner in order for the belt to have no margin of movement.

The base of the belt is found on the surface of the inside of the exterior casing and the lower casing and comprises a padded wall which gently holds both the belt and the elements contained by the belt.

The exterior casing and the lower casing may be made of resistant materials such as molded nylon or plastic, but not limited to these, as they can also be made of harder materials such as ballistic nylon.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIG. 1 of the present request shows the container for security work equipment 1000 where it shows the exterior casing 1010, the handle 1011, space for the information tag 1012, and an extension of pocket 1013 which may be used to store a part of a firearm. Likewise, it also shows a closing mechanism 1014, a type of zipper, which is used to close the container.

FIG. 2 shows the lower casing 1020, cylindrical in shape, in which the upper part fits into the outer casing 1010 through a closing mechanism 1014. The lower casing 1020, in turn comprises a strap 1021, to carry the container and a holding element 1022, so as to be able to hang up the container.

FIG. 3 shows the container for security work equipment 1000 when open; in this image we can see the belt base 1031, the inner cylinder 1032 and how it has a security belt 1033 around the inner cylinder 1032. We can also observe how the extension of pocket 1013 fits into the place of belt 1033, where can be found an element 1034 which may overhang the outer casing 1010 in the case of a firearm.

Likewise, in this image we can see that security belt 1033 is stored within container 1000 in its natural form, that is to say circular, which allows the officer using this belt 1033 to store it with minimum movements and without having to fold it unnecessarily. In the same way, it can also be observed that this belt 1033 is stored with all its contents still inside, which means that the officer will not have to take out the tools he is carrying in the belt every time that it is going to be put away. All the above-mentioned means minimal use of all parts of the belt given that this might cause wear and tear due to use or movement of its parts, in this way prolonging the life-cycle of belt 1033.

The belt base 1031 can be found in the whole inner surface of the outer casing and inner casing and comprises a padded section which gently holds belt 1031 and all the elements within the belt without fraying the parts of belt 1031 which come into contact with the base of belt 1031.

The interior cylinder 1032 is cylindrical in shape and hollow in order that this space may be used to store additional equipment relating to belt 1033. This storage also has a 1035 zipper type closing.

FIG. 4 shows a cross-section of container 1000 in which it shows space 1034.

Container 1000 and all its parts may be made of nylon and molded plastic, more resistant materials such as ballistic nylon may be used as preferred; nevertheless, the present invention is not limited to these said materials.

Claims

1. A container for work security equipment which comprises an outer casing, an inferior casing, a belt base and an interior circle.

2. A container conforming to claim 1 in which the exterior casing and inferior casing contain means for opening and closing.

3. A container conforming to all prior claims in which the exterior casing contains at least a handle, at least a space for information tag, and at least an extension of the pocket which may be utilized for the storage of a portion of an element that by its nature surpasses the level of the exterior casing.

4. A container conforming to all prior claims in which the inferior casing has a cylindrical shape in which the superior part engages to the exterior casing through a closing mechanism.

5. A container conforming to all prior claims in which the inferior casing contains a strip to wear the container and a holding element to be able to hang the container.

6. A container conforming to all prior claims in which the base of the belt is found in all the surface of the interior of the outer casing and of the inferior casing and contains a cushioned section which holds the belt in a soft manner storing without deteriorating the parts of the belt that have contact with the base of the belt.

7. A container conforming to all prior claims in which the interior circle has a cylindrical shape, which is found hollow in its interior in a way that this space is used as storage of additional equipment.

8. A container conforming to all prior claims in which the ideal materials for the manufacturing of the preferred modalities are nylon and molded plastic.

9. A storage container, comprising:

A) a housing having a bottom and a peripheral wall defining an interior space and further including a cover member having a pocket member extending outwardly from said cover member;
B) a cylindrical member mounted to said bottom and having a diameter that creates an annular space between said peripheral wall and said cylindrical member, said cylindrical member is adapted to cooperatively receive a belt with at least one accessory wound and tighten around said cylinder member said belt having items that extend beyond said interior space and being at least partially housed within said pocket.

10. The storage container set forth in claim 9 wherein said cover member and said peripheral wall include a zipper assembly to keep said cover member and peripheral wall in close abutment with respect to each other.

11. The storage container set forth in claim 10 wherein the inner sides of said peripheral wall and bottom are padded.

12. The storage container set forth in claim 11 wherein said annular space substantially prevents the movement of said at least one accessory within said inner space.
