Description of the Related Art

The comb is an ancient invention. As defined in Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary, a comb is an instrument with teeth, for straightening, cleansing and adjusting the hair, or for keeping it in place. Throughout history, combs have been devised in a multitude of sizes, shapes and materials. In the most typical case, the standard consists of a spine, or a thin strip, from which a plurality of parallel teeth extends.

There are multiple inventions that have been proposed in prior art. For instance, a Hair comb or brush apparatus and hair styling method bearing US patent 2,003,0131866A1 is issued to CAMPBELL MARGARET. The patent is on a set of two hair brushes 31,32 with each comprising a body part 15 adapted to be grasped by a person's hand, a support portion 16 connected or integral with the body part 15. Each includes a first set of spaced apart teeth 21 extending substantially parallel from the support portion. 16. The first brush 31 has an outer edge 22 of its first set of spaced apart teeth 21 aligned in a predetermined non-rectilinear pattern or configuration. The pattern or configuration corresponds with at least part of a required non-rectilinear pattern or configuration of a part in the hair. The second brush 32 also has a respective outer edge 22 of its respective first set of spaced apart teeth 21 and is aligned in a predetermined non-rectilinear pattern or configuration. That pattern or configuration corresponds with at least part of a required non-rectilinear pattern or configuration of a part in the hair. The pattern or configuration of the required non-rectilinear pattern or configuration of part in the hair of being zigzag or sawtooth.

Another patent on Hair comb bearing U.S. Pat. No. 3,696,823A is issued to Heinz Dannat. The patent is on a generally comblike hand-operated instrument for parting of uniform, smooth sections of hair during hairdressing work, especially in the styling of live hair on the head. The instrument has two spaced transversely projecting fingers which serve to separate a section of hair from the rest of the hair, and a longitudinally extending tail for manipulation of the separated section of hair.

Another patent on Hair comb and dual comb hair accessory having same bearing U.S. Pat. No. 8,413,667B2 is issued to Seimits LLC. The patent is on an improved hair comb for a dual comb hair accessory (11) or the like which has strand connections or terminations. The comb includes a spine (17) having a raised portion (19, 21, 23) that can advantageously be used to relocate or reorient strand connections to the comb or combs of the hair accessory relative to the plane of the comb, and that can provide a structure into or behind which strand connections, terminations and/or segments can be tucked. Preferably, the raised spine portions of the combs are constructed to form a raised cavity region (27) in the spine for receiving strand connections, terminations and/or segments.

Another patent on Combination hair comb and pick bearing US patent 2,003,0037794A1 is issued to Gwendolyn Shannon. The invention provides a combination comb and hair pick which is particularly adapted for debraiding plat-styled hair. The device of the invention comprises a comb section, a pick section and an intervening body section. The pick section is contiguous with and extends from the body toward the bottom end of the device to form an angle of less than 90 degrees with the longitudinal axes of the comb teeth. This configuration provides a hooking action which prevents the pick section from slipping out of a pleat during the debraiding of the plat. The comb and pick operation of the device can be rapidly switched without releasing the device or radically reorienting the device. This is achieved by pivoting the device while it is held, so that either the comb section or pick section is brought in contact with the desired portion of hair.

Another patent on Detangling Hair Comb bearing US patent 2,018,0168313.A1 is issued to Miller Johnson. Shirley. The patent is on the detangling hair comb comprises curved hair teeth to conform to the shape of men and women with curly, wavy or kinky hair types. Even for those with a straight hair type, the curved hair teeth work with the hair shaft, instead of plowing through the hair and ripping hair strands away. Thus, its use reduces or eliminates hair breakage, tangles and tears. The detangling hair comb makes the impossible possible with now easy to maintain healthy hair and scalp for all hair types, including those of the artificial or synthetic hair market. The detangling hair comb may also be used on animals to produce a stress-free grooming experience.

Another patent on Hair comb bearing U.S. Pat. No. 2,005,024.1661A1 is issued to Wahl Clipper Corp. The patent is on a hand-held comb has a set of fine teeth and a set of coarse teeth joined by a center section. The center section preferably has an opening large enough for a finger. The fine teeth and coarse teeth extend in opposite directions away from a longitudinal axis. Some or all of the teeth can have at least one undulation, to remove loose hair and at least some of the teeth can have barbs, to remove partially cut hair strands. The teeth can have sharp edges, which also remove partially cut hair strands.

There are multiple advancements that have been presented in prior art. However, these solutions are limited and restricted to their conventional systems. As a result of intensive studies on the above problems, the present inventor has found that the prior problems can be solved by a novel method of Comb which is uniquely shaped like a Bearded Axe. The Comb has both coarse and fine teeth, which are in the blade of axe and the comb can be used for Beards, mustaches and Hair.

None of the previous inventions and patents, taken either singly or in combination, is seen to describe the instant invention as claimed. Hence, the inventor of the present invention proposes to resolve and surmount existent technical difficulties to eliminate the aforementioned shortcomings of prior art.

The present invention provides a novel method of a hair comb having a plurality of comb teeth bodies having various shapes and functions for integrally forming a comb and forming a center handle capable of being held by a user by a hand on the side of the hair comb. The comb tooth body is selectively used according to the state of the user's hair so as to be selectively used in the body of the body part, and comb teeth forming a comb to comb the head and the lower section consisting of fine teeth which are situated in the lower part of the teeth section, since they are used less frequently, and offer a user selective fine combing. Thus, the new structure allows the selective combing to be used in accordance with the required state of the user.

The invention as per its preferred embodiments is a unique comb designed in the shape of a bearded axe. It is recommended to be carved from wood but can be made from any other material including but not limited to acetate, bone or other material by way of carving, machine cutting, injection molding, et. al.

The comb as per preferred embodiments is in the shape of a unique axe, which enables a novel ergonomic experience for beard, mustache and hair grooming. In contrast to common handheld combs, this comb's shape significantly distances the comb's teeth section from the handle and thus alters the fulcrum allowing the comb teeth to travel farther with each stroke, so providing a novel and refined combing experience.

The proposed invention as per its further embodiments enables the user to keep his or her hand free from contacting the beard, mustache or hair and thereby any styling products used.

The system as per its further embodiments has it's uniquely designed teeth section, where the comb has both coarse teeth and fine teeth, both which allow for selective nuanced grooming.

The coarse teeth as per its preferred embodiments are situated at the top of the teeth section, since they are used frequently, and thereby offer a user ease of access for general grooming. The fine teeth are situated in the lower part of the teeth section, since they are used less frequently, and offer a user selective fine combing.

The system as per its additional embodiments has top edge of the comb which is designed with a slight curve that enables one to press the edge against the face and shave alongside so to create a smooth line.

The comb axe-shape and handle position, which distances the user's hand from the comb's teeth itself, allows to create a greater fulcrum and so enables a unique and more controlled combing motion and experience, where small wrist movements result in large strokes and thus less hand and arm fatigue.

The comb's teeth top edge is designed as a curved facial hair shaving stencil tool. This comb is of simple construction but novel and unique function, as a user will find this comb enables one to comb with less arm movement and fatigue, keep his or her hands free of hair product, and have nuanced control over both grooming and shaving.

While a specific embodiment has been shown and described, many variations are possible. With time, additional features may be employed. The particular shape or configuration of the platform or the interior configuration may be changed to suit the system or equipment with which it is used.
