TURLAKOV'S RIFLE N 4
The invention relates to a hand-held firearm and is a firearm having a cutout on the lateral surface of the receiver, in to which a removable magazine is placed, which makes it possible to bring the breech end of the barrel closer to the trigger, making it possible to shorten the length of the weapon. The invention is aimed at reducing the size of the firearm, which improves the operational characteristics of the firearm.
The invention relates to the field of guns technology and can be used in firearms with magazine feeding.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONThe known firearm U.S. Pat. No. 2,213,28, where the magazine is located in a longitudinal vertical plane passing through the longitudinal axis of the barrel. This design does not allow to bring the breech closer to the trigger, as a result of which there is no way to shorten the length of the firearm.
Firearms systems with a lateral magazine location U.S. Pat. No. 1,450,834A, DE4317310 (A1), in which the magazine is inserted from the side into the protruding part of the receiver, which leads to a significant increase in the transverse dimensions of the firearm.
Also known firearm U.S. Pat. No. 1,376,694A has a magazine located in the inner cavity of the receiver eccentrically relative to the vertical plane, which increases the transverse dimensions of the receiver, and the magazine itself is inserted from below, which complicates the operation of the firearm.
In addition, the receiver and the stock have a configuration that does not allow to bring the breech end to be closer than the length of the cartridge used in this firearm, the length of which in some cases exceeds 140 mm.
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTIONThe proposed invention solves the problem of reducing the length of the firearm by approaching the breech end of the barrel to the trigger at a distance less than the length of the cartridge.
For this, the magazine is located outside the longitudinal vertical plane passing through the longitudinal axis of the barrel and is displaced in the direction of the stock, which also allows the breech end to be displaced to the trigger by a length of 70 mm or less.
At the same time, to ensure the convenience of attaching the magazine and reducing the transverse dimensions of the firearm, the magazine is placed in a cutout made on the lateral surface of the receiver.
