PICKLEBALL PADDLE WITH SECTIONAL STRUCTURE AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Provided by the present disclosure are a pickleball paddle with a sectional structure and a manufacturing process. The pickleball paddle comprises a paddle head and a paddle handle which are made of a paddle core material, a part between the paddle head and the paddle handle is divided into two separate parts which are the paddle head and the paddle handle by cutting, and the thickness at the thickest part of the paddle handle is smaller than or equal to the thickness of the paddle head. The present disclosure has the beneficial effects that the paddle core material is processed into the paddle head and the paddle handle, the paddle head and the paddle handle are cut off at proper positions to form two cut-off parts, and separate processing of the paddle head and the paddle handle is achieved.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of pickleball appliances, and in particular a pickleball paddle with a sectional structure and a manufacturing process.

BACKGROUND

With the gradual promotion and development of pickleballs and the knowledge and favorite of the people on this sport, the application of comfort, hand feeling, flexibility and the like of the paddle is increasingly specialized, from the previous paddle head thickness of 10 mm to 13.3 mm, to 14 mm to 19 mm nowadays. Due to requirements for the thickness increase of the paddle body at present, the problem that the size of the handle is too large in the prior art cannot be overcome, the thicker the paddle is, the larger the handle is, and great shortcomings are presented in the aspect of gripping. Although the hitting feeling is greatly improved when the paddle head is thickened, the gripping is more difficult for the Asian and the female due to small palms. Therefore, there are numerous shortcomings in the actual use of the traditional pickleball paddle, and meanwhile, the traditional pickleball paddle is basically processed and formed in an integrated manner when processing, and the handle size is too large after the processing is completed, therefore, the traditional pickleball paddle has certain shortcomings in the processing method.

SUMMARY

An objective of the present disclosure is to provide a pickleball paddle with a sectional structure, aiming at solving the problem of lack of gripping comfort, flexibility and personalization of swinging in motion as the integrated-process pickleball handle is large in the prior art.

To achieve the objective, the present disclosure provides the following technical schemes: a pickleball paddle with a sectional structure comprises a paddle head and a paddle handle which are made of a paddle core material, the paddle head and the paddle handle are divided into two separate parts of the paddle head and the paddle handle by cutting, and the thickness at the thickest part of the paddle handle is smaller than or equal to the thickness of the paddle head.

As a preferred scheme of the present disclosure: any position between the tail end of the paddle head and a neck line of the paddle handle is cut off and separated to form a cut-off line and the neck line.

As a preferred scheme of the present disclosure: the thickness of a handle body between a top cut-off line of the paddle handle and the neck line of the paddle handle is gradually reduced.

As a preferred scheme of the present disclosure: the thickness at the thickest part of the paddle handle is smaller than or equal to the thickness of the paddle head.

As a preferred scheme of the present disclosure, the outsides of the cut-off parts of the paddle head and the paddle handle, through the design of structural strength and swinging performance, are wrapped with wrapping layers composed of carbon fiber yarns or glass fiber yarns layer by layer and then fixed to form an integrated paddle body structure.

As a preferred scheme of the present disclosure: the wrapping layer is made of a carbon fiber material, a glass fiber material, and a filling material.

As a preferred scheme of the present disclosure, the wrapping layer, after being cured by a mold, is cooled to connect and fix the paddle head and the paddle handle into a whole.

A manufacturing process of a pickleball paddle with a sectional structure comprises manufacturing the pickleball paddle with the sectional structure of any one of the above, and further comprises the following steps:

S1: Paddle core material plate processing:

manufacturing a plurality of paddle core material plates having different thicknesses from novel composites, wherein the paddle core material plates having different thicknesses are processed into paddle core material blanks having different thicknesses;

S2: Paddle cutting:

1) classifying the plurality of paddle core material blanks according to the thickness, cutting a batch of paddle core material blanks having a thicker thickness to obtain a plurality of pickleball paddles, and then cutting all of the plurality of pickleball paddles to obtain a plurality of paddle heads;

2) cutting a batch of paddle core material blanks having a thinner thickness to obtain a plurality of paddle handles of the pickleball paddles, wherein the thickness of the paddle handle is smaller than or equal to the thickness of the paddle head; and

S3, Integrated paddle processing:

laminating cutting surfaces of the paddle head and the paddle handle, and wrapping the laminating part with wrapping layers composed of carbon fiber yarns, glass fiber yarns and a filling material layer by layer to form a pickleball paddle assembly of the paddle head and the paddle handle.

As a preferred scheme of the present disclosure, the integrated paddle processing in the step S3 comprises selecting a curing mold, opening a mold cap, placing a lower die into a wrapped pickleball paddle assembly, closing the mold cap, and then placing the curing mold into heating equipment for heating curing; stopping heating after the temperature rises to the curing temperature of the carbon fibers and glass fibers, cooling the curing mold, opening an upper mold cap after cooling, and taking out the connected and cured pickleball paddle to obtain a rough pickleball paddle blank, and then entering the next processing procedure.

Compared with the prior art, the present disclosure has the beneficial effects that:

1) The paddle core material is processed into a paddle head and a paddle handle, the paddle head and the paddle handle are cut off at proper positions to form two cut-off parts, and the separate processing of the paddle head and the paddle handle is achieved, such that the specifications, the sizes, the shapes, and the thicknesses of the paddle handle and the paddled head can be subjected to personalized processing as required, and the pickleball paddle is richer is style, more flexible to use, high in performance, more stable in gripping, capable of meeting the use of people with smaller palms, juveniles and female, and higher is practicability;

2) The paddle head and the paddle handle can be connected through the design of the wrapping layer material structure, the paddle head and the paddle handle are connected into a whole by a high-temperature curing process, thus ensuring that the pickleball paddle has better strength, practicability and performance;

3) After the paddle handle and the paddle head are cut off, the paddle handle and the paddle head having proper sizes are selected for splicing, then the clad wrapping layer and the paddle handle and the paddle head are cured and shaped by a curing mold, and then the processing fabrication of the pickleball paddle is rapidly completed, such that the pickleball paddles can be produced in batch.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

The technical schemes in the embodiments of the present disclosure are clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure. Apparently, the embodiments described are merely a part than all of the embodiments of the present disclosure. Based on the embodiments of the present disclosure, all other embodiments obtained by those of ordinary skill in the part without creative efforts fall within the scope of protection of the present disclosure.

Please refer to FIG. 1 to FIG. 4, the following technical schemes are provided by the present disclosure: a pickleball paddle with a sectional structure comprises a paddle head 1 and a paddle handle 2 which are made of a paddle core material, the paddle head 1 and the paddle handle 2 are divided into two separate parts which are the paddle head 1 and the paddle handle 2 by cutting, and the thickness at the thickest part of the paddle handle 2 is smaller than or equal to the thickness of the paddle head 1.

In this embodiment, any position between the tail end 6 of the paddle head 1 and a neck line 5 of the paddle handle is cut off and separated to form a cut-off line 4 and the neck line 5.

Specifically, a paddle core material blank plate can be divided into two separate parts which are the paddle head 1 and the paddled handle 2 by cutting off and separating at any position between the tail end 6 of the paddle head 1 and the neck line 5 of the paddle handle.

In this embodiment, a thickness of a handle body between a top cut-off line 4 of the paddle handle 2 and the neck line 5 of the paddle handle 2 is gradually reduced.

Specifically, the thickness of the paddle handle 2 is enabled to be smaller than or equal to the thickness of the paddle head 1, thus facilitating a user to grip the paddle more conveniently.

In this embodiment, the outsides of the cut-off parts of the paddle head 1 and the paddle handle 2, through the design of structural strength and swinging performance, are wrapped with wrapping layers 3 composed of carbon fiber yarns or glass fiber yarns layer by layer and then fixed to form an integrated paddle body structure.

Specifically, the two-section type paddle head 1 and paddle handle 2 can be wrapped with the wrapping layer 3, and can be assembled to form the integrated paddle body structure.

In this embodiment, the wrapping layer 3 is made of a carbon fiber material, a glass fiber material, and a filling material. The wrapping layer 3, after being cured by a mold, is cooled to connect and fix the paddle head 1 and the paddle handle 2 into a whole.

Specifically, the selected carbon fiber and glass fiber materials and the filling material are processed into the wrapping layer 3, and the wrapping layer 3 can enhance the overall structural strength of the paddle while wrapping the paddle head 1 and the paddle handle 2.

Please refer to FIG. 5 to FIG. 7, a manufacturing process of a pickleball paddle with a sectional structure comprises manufacturing the pickleball paddle with the sectional structure of any one of the above, and further comprises the following steps:

S1: Paddle core material plate processing:

manufacturing a plurality of paddle core material plates having different thicknesses from novel composites, and processing the paddle core material plates having different thicknesses into paddle core material blanks having different thicknesses, such that the paddle can be processed in batch. Certainly, other composites may also be employed according to actual production demands;

S2: Paddle cutting:

1) classifying the plurality of paddle core material blanks according to the thickness, cutting a batch of paddle core material blanks having a thicker thickness to obtain a plurality of pickleball paddles, and then cutting all of the plurality of pickleball paddles to obtain a plurality of paddle heads 1. In the production of the paddle, a paddle mold cuts off the paddle core material at a position 4.5 cm above the neck of the paddle handle 2 (cutting positions of different paddle frames are different) to form a cut-off part according to mechanical and strength requirements, thus obtaining a plurality of paddle heads 1 for assembling;

2) cutting a batch of paddle core material blank plates with a thinner thickness to obtain a plurality of paddle handles 2 of the pickleball paddles, wherein the thickness of the paddle handle 2 is smaller than or equal to the thickness of the paddle head 1, such that the paddle handle 2 for assembling can be processed in batch;

S3. Integrated paddle processing:

laminating cutting surfaces of the paddle head 1 and the paddle handle 2, and wrapping the laminating part by the carbon fiber yarns, the glass fiber yarns and the filling material layer by layer to form a pickleball paddle assembly of the paddle head 1 and the paddle handle 2.

The integrated paddle processing in the step S3 comprises selecting a curing mold 7, opening a mold cap 71, placing a lower die 72 into a wrapped pickleball paddle assembly, closing the mold cap 71, and then placing the curing mold 7 into heating equipment for heating curing; stopping heating after the temperature rises to the curing temperature of the carbon fibers and glass fibers, cooling the curing mold 7, opening an upper mold cap 71 after cooling, and taking out the connected and cured pickleball paddle to obtain a rough pickleball paddle blank, and then entering the next process procedure.

Finally, it should be noted that the above is only a preferred embodiment of the present disclosure and is not intended to limit the present disclosure. Although the present disclosure has been described in detail with reference to the foregoing embodiments, for those skilled in the art, it is still possible to modify the technical schemes recorded in the foregoing embodiments or to make equivalent replacements for some of the technical features. Any modification, equivalent replacement, improvement and the like made within the spirit and principles of the present disclosure shall be included in the scope of protection of the present disclosure.

Claims

1. A pickleball paddle with a sectional structure, comprising a paddle head (1) and a paddle handle (2) which are made of a paddle core material; a part between the paddle head (1) and the paddle handle (2) is divided into two separate parts which are the paddle head (1) and the paddle handle (2) by cutting, and the thickness at the thickest part of the paddle handle (2) is smaller than or equal to the thickness of the paddle head (1).

2. The pickleball paddle with the sectional structure according to claim 1, wherein any position between the tail end (6) of the paddle head (1) and a neck line (5) of the paddle handle is cut off and separated to form a cut-off line (4) and the neck line (5).

3. The pickleball paddle with the sectional structure according to claim 1, wherein the thickness of a handle body between the top cut-off line (4) of the paddle handle (2) and the neck line (5) of the paddle handle (2) is gradually reduced.

4. The pickleball paddle with the sectional structure according to claim 1, wherein the thickness at the thickest part of the paddle handle (2) is smaller than or equal to the thickness of the paddle head (1).

The pickleball paddle with the sectional structure according to claim 1, wherein the outsides of cut-off parts of the paddle head (1) and the paddle handle (2), through the design of structural strength and paddle swinging performance, are wrapped with wrapping layers (3) composed of carbon fiber yarns or glass fiber yarns layer by layer and then fixed to form an integrated paddle body structure.

6. The pickleball paddle with the sectional structure according to claim 5, wherein the wrapping layer (3) is made of a carbon fiber material, a glass fiber material, and a filling material.

7. The pickleball paddle with the sectional structure according to claim 5, wherein the wrapping layer (3), after being cured by a mold, is cooled to connect and fix the paddle head (1) and the paddle handle (2) into a whole.

8. A manufacturing process of a pickleball paddle with a sectional structure, comprising manufacturing the pickleball paddle with the sectional structure according to claim 1, and further comprising the following steps:

S1: paddle core material plate processing:
manufacturing a plurality of paddle core material plates having different thicknesses from novel composites, wherein the paddle core material plates having different thicknesses are processed into paddle core material blanks having different thicknesses;
S2: paddle cutting:
classifying the plurality of paddle core material blanks according to the thickness, cutting a batch of paddle core material blanks having thicker thicknesses to obtain a plurality of pickleball paddles, and then cutting all of the plurality of pickleball paddles to obtain a plurality of paddle heads (1);
cutting a batch of paddle core material blanks having thinner thicknesses to obtain a plurality of paddle handles (2) of the pickleball paddles, wherein the thickness of the paddle handle (2) is smaller than or equal to the thickness of the paddle head (1); and
S3, integrated paddle processing:
laminating cutting surfaces of the paddle head (1) and the paddle handle (2), and wrapping the laminating part with wrapping layers composed of carbon fiber yarns, glass fiber yarns and a filling material layer by layer to form a pickleball paddle assembly of the paddle head (1) and the paddle handle (2).

The manufacturing process of the pickleball paddle with the sectional structure according to claim 8, wherein the integrated paddle processing in the step S3 comprises: selecting a curing mold (7), opening a mold cap (71), placing a lower die (72) into a wrapped pickleball paddle assembly, closing the mold cap (71), and then placing the curing mold (7) in heating equipment for heating curing; stopping heating after the temperature rises to the curing temperature of the carbon fiber and glass fibers, cooling the curing mold (7), opening an upper mold cap (71) after cooling, and taking out the connected and cured pickleball paddle to obtain a rough pickleball paddle blank, and then entering the next processing procedure.
