RESISTANCE DEVICE CAPABLE LINEARLY ADJUSTING TRAINING LOAD
A resistance device capable linearly adjusting training load comprising: a rack unit with two vertical rods, and two sliding units, which are connected to a handle and a pedal; a linkage unit with a chain and a belt, and are locked on the connecting plate; and two damping units make multiple magnet pieces arranged on both sides of a fixing base, and a diamagnetic metal piece is arranged on the connecting plate, and set trough the fixing base to cut the magnetic circuit generated by the magnet pieces to form damping: When the user steps on the pedal, the connecting plate will drive the metal sheet to cut the magnetic circuit, and the damping can be changed to further achieve the effect of linearly adjusting the training load.
The invention relates to a fitness equipment, especially to one that has a resistance device capable linearly adjusting training load that having resistance mechanism on the connecting plate which slide up and down relatively, so as to achieve adjust the training load by changing the area of the magnetic circuit.

Although outdoor exercise can strengthen the body, it cannot be performed anytime and anywhere. Since fitness equipment is not restricted by place and weather, using fitness equipment to maintain exercise habits has become the best choice for today's working group.

It is a primary objective of the present invention to provide a damping unit with simple mechanism and no wear and tear problem, and the damping unit is used in a resistance device, which will have the functions of linear adjustment of the training load and convenient operation and control.
In order to achieve the above objectives, the present invention including: a rack unit having a base frame, a support frame, and two vertical rods, the vertical rods are individually a hollow tube, and stand parallelly on the base frame, and are supported by the support frame; two sliding units, each having a linear rail, fixed on the inner edge of the vertical rods, an upper sliding seat and a lower sliding seat assembled on the two ends of a connecting plate, and are placed on the linear rail and making it to be slidable up and down, a handle and a pedal are assembled on the upper and lower seats respectively; a linkage unit, which has a sprocket and a pulley, which are arranged separately up and down and between the two vertical rods, a chain and a belt are respectively arranged around the sprocket and the pulley, and the two end of each of them are connected by a connecting unit and further locked on the connecting plate of the two sliding units, so that the components of the two sliding units can slide up and down relative to each other; and two damping units, having multiple powerful magnet pieces assembled on both sides of the concave part of a U-shaped fixing seat, and the magnet pieces of the two adjacent ones and the opposite ones have different magnetic poles, then the fixing seat is pivoted on the surface of the vertical rod by an adjusting device, a metal sheet which is diamagnetic, is assembled on the connecting plate and penetrates between the concave part of the fixing seat for cutting the magnetic circuit generated by the multiple powerful magnet pieces to form damping, so operating the adjusting device can make the fixing seat laterally displaced to change the area of the metal sheet, thereby changing the damping.
The user holds the handle with both hands, and steps on the pedals to move up and down alternately to simulate rock climbing or mountain climbing, then the linkage unit will drive the connecting plates of the two sliding units to drive the handles and pedals on both sides, so the two vertical rods have up and down relative sliding; at the same time, the user can use the damping unit to operate the adjustment device according to the physical fitness, and the fixing seat will be displaced laterally, because the connecting plate drives the diamagnetic metal sheet to cut the magnetic circuit generated by the powerful magnet pieces back and forth. At the same time, the displacement of the fixed seat makes the area of the cutting magnetic circuit change linearly, so that the change of the damping also change linearly, so operating the damping unit can change the magnetic resistance to further achieve the effect of linearly adjusting the training load.
Also, the metal sheet of the present invention is made of copper or aluminum material.
Also, the inner edge of the vertical rod has multiple guiding blocks, which are provided with guiding grooves to make the connecting plate set through, and make the connecting plate is guided by the guiding blocks when it slides up and down to increase its stability.
Also, further includes a tension spring, one end of which is assembled on the wall surface of the vertical rod in a stretched state, the other end is connected to the pulley, so that tension is formed between the chain and the belt of the linkage unit.
Also, further includes two upper positioning plates individually assembled on the seat surface of the upper sliding seat, and the positioning plate further has multiple combination holes to provide the handle to be set in the combination holes at the desired position; two lower positioning plates are individually set on the seat surface of the lower sliding seat to provide the pedal to be set in the lower positioning plate; and, the two ends of the connecting plate are respectively assembled on the upper edge of the upper and lower positioning plates.
Also, further includes at least one spring, the lower end of the spring is assembled on the wall surface of the vertical rod and the upper end is connected to the upper positioning plate, for making the spring to be stretched when the upper sliding seat slides upwards, thereby providing energy for the upper sliding seat to return.
Also, wherein the adjusting device of the damping unit further includes a nut, a bolt, a protective cover, and an adjusting knob; Wherein the nut is fixed at the center of the top surface of the fixing seat, the thread of the bolt corresponds to the nut and set through the nut; the protective cover is locked on the wall surface of the rear side of the vertical rod, there is a through hole on the top face to allow the head of the bolt to pass through and connect with the adjusting knob, for making the adjusting knob rotated to drive the bolt, then the nut will drive the fixing seat to move laterally.
Also, wherein the damping unit further includes two guiding sleeves arranged on the inner edge of the protective cover and are provided with a guiding groove for containing the base body of the fixing base and guides the magnet pieces to move therebetween, thereby improving the stability of the lateral displacement of the fixing base.
Also, wherein the damping unit further includes a compression spring, which is sleeved on the outer edge of the bolt and the upper end of the nut in a compressed state, then the compression force of the compression spring can eliminate the gap between the bolt and the thread of the nut, thereby improving the effect of linear displacement of the fixing seat.
With the feature disclosed above, the resistance device capable linearly adjusting training load includes below benefits:
1. The linkage unit of the present invention has a connecting unit connect two end of the chain and the belt and further locked on the connecting plate for making the two sliding units have a linkage; since the linkage unit can operate the sliding unit on both side through the linkage of the chain and belt, further making the connecting plates drive the handle and the pedal to slide up and down relative to each other in the two vertical rods; therefore, the invention has the benefit of simple structure and low cost.
2. The damping units of the present invention, having multiple powerful magnet pieces assembled on both sides of the concave part of a U-shaped fixing seat, and the magnet pieces of the two adjacent ones and the opposite ones have different magnetic poles, then the multiple powerful magnet pieces generate magnetic circuit; a metal sheet which is diamagnetic is assembled on the connecting plate and penetrates between the concave part of the fixing seat for cutting the magnetic circuit generated by the multiple powerful magnet pieces to form damping; Since there is no contact between the magnet piece and the diamagnetic metal sheet, the metal sheet will form a damping through the magnet piece, but there will be no contact wear. Therefore, the present invention has the benefits of not easy to wear and long service life.
3. The fixing seat of the damping unit of the present invention is pivoted on the wall of the track of an adjusting device, and the operation of the adjusting device, will make the fixing seat be displaced laterally, so that the metal sheet and the strong magnet pieces will interact to each other and cut the magnetic circuit, thereby generating damping; since displacement of the fixing seat makes the area of the cutting magnetic circuit have linearly changed, thereby causing the damping to change also linearly, so operating the damping unit will change the magnetic resistance to further achieve the effect of linearly adjusting the training load.

Since the linkage unit 30 of the present invention is connected with the chain 35 and the belt 36 at two ends by a combination member 37, and they are respectively locked on the connecting plate 24 making the two sliding units 20 have a linkage effect ; Since the linkage unit 30 is linked to the chain 35 and the belt 36, the sliding units 20 on both sides can be easily operated, so that the connecting plate 24 drives the handle 25 and pedals 26 on both sides, and respectively slide up and down relatively in the two vertical rods 13; therefore, the present invention has the benefit of simple mechanism and low cost. Secondly, the damping unit 40 of the present invention is composed of multiple powerful magnet pieces 41 which are arranged on both sides of a U-shaped fixing base 42 and make the magnet pieces 41 that adjacent to each other and opposite to each other to have different pole, then the multiple magnet pieces 41 will generate a strong magnetic circuit; a diamagnetic metal sheet 49 is arranged on the connecting plate 24 of the sliding unit 20 and set through the concave part 421 of the fixing seat 42 to cut the magnetic circuit to form damping; since the magnet piece 41 and the diamagnetic metal sheet 49 are not in contact, when the metal sheet 49 passes through the magnet piece 41 will form damping, but no contact wear will occur, therefore, the present invention has the benefits of making the components not easy to wear and have a long service life. Furthermore, the fixing seat 42 of the damping unit 40 is pivoted on the wall of the track by an adjusting device. When the adjusting device is operated, the fixing seat 42 will be displaced laterally, causing the metal sheet 49 to interact with the strong magnet piece 41 to cut the magnetic circuit, and then generate damping; because the displacement of the fixing seat 42 causes the area of the cutting magnetic circuit to change linearly, and the change of the damping also changed linearly. Therefore, operating the damping unit 40 will change the magnetic resistance and further achieve the effect of linearly adjusting the training load.
Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not limited except as by the appended claims.
Claims
1. A resistance device capable linearly adjusting training load, comprising:
- a rack unit having a base frame, a support frame, and two vertical rods, the vertical rods are individually a hollow tube, stand parallelly on the base frame, and are supported by the support frame;
- two sliding units, each having a linear rail, fixed on the inner edge of the vertical rods, an upper sliding seat and a lower sliding seat arranged on the two ends of a connecting plate, and are placed on the linear rail and making it to be slidable up and down, a handle and a pedal are assembled on the upper and lower seats respectively;
- a linkage unit, which has a sprocket and a pulley, arranged separately up and down and between the two vertical rods, a chain and a belt are respectively arranged around the sprocket and the pulley, and the two end of each of them are connected by a connecting unit and further locked on the connecting plate of the two sliding units, so that the components of the two sliding units can slide up and down relative to each other; and
- two damping units, having multiple powerful magnet pieces assembled on both sides of the concave part of a U-shaped fixing seat, and the magnet pieces of the two adjacent ones and the opposite ones have different magnetic poles, then the fixing seat is pivoted on the surface of the vertical rod by an adjusting device, a metal sheet which is diamagnetic, is assembled on the connecting plate and penetrates between the concave part of the fixing seat for cutting the magnetic circuit generated by the multiple powerful magnet pieces to form damping, so operating the adjusting device can make the fixing seat laterally displaced to change the magnetic circuit area cut by the metal sheet, thereby changing the damping.
2. The resistance device capable linearly adjusting training load as claimed in claim 1, wherein the metal sheet is made of copper or aluminum material.

The resistance device capable linearly adjusting training load as claimed in claim 1, wherein the inner edge of the vertical rod has multiple guiding blocks, which are provided with guiding grooves to let the connecting plate set through, and make the connecting plate be guided by the guiding blocks when sliding up and down to increase its stability.

The resistance device capable linearly adjusting training load as claimed in claim 1, further includes a tension spring, one end of which is assembled on the wall surface of the vertical rod in a stretched state, the other end is connected to the pulley, so a tension is formed between the chain and the belt of the linkage unit.

The resistance device capable linearly adjusting training load as claimed in claim 1, further includes two upper positioning plates individually assembled on the seat surface of the upper sliding seat, and the positioning plate further has multiple combination holes to let the handle to be set in the combination holes at the desired position; two lower positioning plates are individually set on the seat surface of the lower sliding seat to let the pedal to be set in the lower positioning plate; and the two ends of the connecting plate are respectively assembled on the upper edge of the upper and lower positioning plates.
6. The resistance device capable linearly adjusting training load as claimed in claim 5, further includes at least a spring, the lower end of the spring is assembled on the wall surface of the vertical rod and the upper end is connected to the upper positioning plate, for making the spring to be stretched when the upper sliding seat slides upwards, thereby providing energy for the upper sliding seat to return.

The resistance device capable linearly adjusting training load as claimed on claim 1, wherein the adjusting device of the damping unit further includes a nut, a bolt, a protective cover, and an adjusting knob; Wherein the nut is fixed at the center of the top surface of the fixing seat, the thread of the bolt corresponds to the nut and set through the nut; the protective cover is locked on the wall surface of the rear side of the vertical rod, there is a through hole on the top face to allow the head of the bolt to pass through and connect with the adjusting knob, for making the adjusting knob rotated to drive the bolt, then the nut will drive the fixing seat to displace laterally.
8. The resistance device capable linearly adjusting training load as claimed in claim 7, wherein the damping unit further includes two guiding sleeves arranged on the inner edge of the protective cover and are provided with a guiding groove for containing the base body of the fixing base and guides the magnet pieces to move therebetween, thereby improving the stability of the lateral displacement of the fixing base.

The resistance device capable linearly adjusting training load as claimed in claim 7, wherein the damping unit further includes a compression spring, which is sleeved on the outer edge of the bolt and the upper end of the nut in a compressed state, then the compression force of the compression spring can eliminate the gap between the bolt and the thread of the nut, thereby improving the effect of linear displacement of the fixing seat.
