FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention relates generally to the field of upper body garments. More specifically, the present invention relates to a shirt/t-shirt for male wearers allowing easier access for restroom purposes. The shirt/t-shirt has a rounded cut-out opening along the front bottom portion of the bottom hemline allowing access for urination. The design is male oriented and allows the shirt to remain comfortably tucked inside the pants while the wearer is urinating. Accordingly, the present disclosure makes specific reference thereto. Nonetheless, it is to be appreciated that aspects of the present invention are also equally applicable to other like applications, devices, and methods of manufacture.
BACKGROUNDBy way of background, it is often the case that the male wearer of a shirt desires to tuck the shirt into his pants, shorts, or the like. In fact, many shirts are designed with the intention of being tucked in, such as men's formal wear. Tucking a shirt in is often perceived as professional, resulting in better hygiene and a more polished presentation. Certain professions, such as the police, require the uniform of the wearer to be worn having the shirt tucked in.
A common problem faced by males with tucked in shirts is that obtaining access for urination can be uncomfortable and cumbersome. People wearing tucked in shirts need to untuck or rearrange the shirt before urinating which can cause a delay. This problem is exacerbated when the person has to urgently use the restroom. People desire an improvement in their shirts that allow them to have easier access for urination and eliminates any delay caused due to untucking of a tucked in shirt.
Often, males wear an outer shirt and an undershirt. When the undershirt is tucked in, the problem of instant access faced by the wearer to untuck shirt before urinating increases. After urination, generally the conventional tucked in shirts are bunched up inside the pants, which may be uncomfortable for a user, and also may partially untuck the outer shirt resulting in an unprofessional look. People desire a shirt that is not required to be adjusted after urination and thereby saves time and effort of the wearer.
Therefore, there exists a long-felt need in the art for an improved shirt that allows for easier access for restroom purposes. There is also a long-felt need in the art for an improved shirt that allows people to keep their shirts tucked in while using the restroom. Further, there is a long-felt need in the art for a shirt designed to be worn tucked in and does not simultaneously interfere with the wearer's ability to urinate. Moreover, there is a long-felt need in the art for a shirt garment that appears like a conventional shirt and is easily worn. Further, there is a long-felt need in the art for an improved shirt that eliminates any delay in the urination process by ensuring the shirt does not obstruct access. Furthermore, there is a long-felt need in the art for a shirt that prevents the shirt from becoming bunched up after urination is complete. Finally, there is a long-felt need in the art for a practical shirt available in short or long sleeves with various neck designs that includes a modification to the bottom hemline for easier access for restroom purposes.
The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises an upper body garment for a male wearer. The upper body garment is in the form a male designed shirt/t-shirt and comprises a rounded inverted U-shape cut-out opening made by removing fabric of the upper body garment and positioned along a front portion of the bottom hemline; the U-shape cut-out opening extends from the bottom hemline front portion to a rounded top end wherein a length of the cut-out or opening can be from about 3″ to about 8″ of the front portion of the bottom hemline when removed and the rounded top end can include a width from about 2″ to about 5″. The cut-out opening is positioned in front of the male organ of the wearer allowing the wearer easier access for urinating without untucking the upper body garment when the upper body garment is tucked inside the pants, shorts, and more.
In this manner, the improved shirt of the present invention accomplishes all of the forgoing objectives and provides users with a practical shirt available in various sizes and designs that eliminates the need to untuck the shirt before urination and re-tuck the shirt after urination is complete. A section is cutout on the front bottom portion of the hemline of the shirt allowing easier access for urination, while also retaining the shirt in the tucked in position.
Advantageously, the male designed t-shirt allows easier restroom access while the shirt is tucked inside the pants. The simple design is male oriented and allows the shirt to remain comfortably tucked inside the pants without bunching up or requiring the shirt to be re-tucked.
