This application claims the benefit of priority to Taiwan Patent Application No. 110205213, filed on May 10, 2021. The entire content of the above identified application is incorporated herein by reference.

Some references, which may include patents, patent applications and various publications, may be cited and discussed in the description of this disclosure. The citation and/or discussion of such references is provided merely to clarify the description of the present disclosure and is not an admission that any such reference is “prior art” to the disclosure described herein. All references cited and discussed in this specification are incorporated herein by reference in their entireties and to the same extent as if each reference was individually incorporated by reference.

FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE

The present disclosure relates to a container protective sleeve, and more particularly to a container protective sleeve that can be used on a thermos bottle, a glass bottle, or a kettle to protect a container bottom from being damaged due to impact.

BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE

With the recent pursuit of environmental protection and attempts at decreasing the use of disposable plastic containers, use of thermos bottles or tumblers for carrying water or beverages has become a trend in the modern society.

A conventional thermos bottle is usually made of metal, and includes a vacuum heat insulating layer to enhance heat insulating ability through vacuum heat insulation to achieve a heat preservation effect. However, although this type of vacuum heat insulating container has a good heat preservation ability, when the container suffers from impact, the metal body of the container can easily crack due to a force from the impact. Accordingly, the vacuum state of the vacuum heat insulating layer is compromised, and the container loses the ability to preserve heat. Therefore, some users use a protective sleeve to protect the vacuum heat insulating container from collision or damage.

As shown in FIG. 6, a conventional protective sleeve 2 of the vacuum heat insulating container is usually made of rubber or silicone. The conventional protective sleeve 2 is configured to be sleeved around a bottom portion of the vacuum heat insulating container 1, and when the vacuum heat insulating container 1 falls down, the conventional protective sleeve 2 can absorb an impact force to protect the vacuum heat insulating container 1 from being damaged.

However, the conventional protective sleeve 2 used on the vacuum heat insulating container 1 is sleeved around the bottom portion of the vacuum heat insulating container 1 through the elasticity and telescopic deformation of the conventional protective sleeve 2. In addition, in order to prevent the conventional protective sleeve 2 from falling off, the conventional protective sleeve 2 is tightly sleeved around the bottom portion of the vacuum heat insulating container 1, so that the conventional protective sleeve 2 is in tight contact with the vacuum heat insulating container 1 and a great degree of friction is generated there-between to ensure that the conventional protective sleeve 2 does not fall off after the conventional protective sleeve 2 is sleeved around the vacuum heat insulating container 1. Therefore, putting on the conventional protective sleeve 2 around the vacuum heat insulating container 1 can be a laborious task, and it can be hard to remove the conventional protective sleeve 2 from the bottom portion of the vacuum heat insulating container 1.

According to the above reasons, due to the difficulty in mounting or detachment of the conventional protective sleeve 2 on or from the vacuum heat insulating container 1, there is still room for improvement in the conventional protective sleeve 2.

SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE

In response to the above-referenced technical inadequacies, the present disclosure provides a container protective sleeve to improve upon the issues associated with a conventional protective sleeve (i.e., difficulties in mounting or detachment of the convention protective sleeve).

In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a container protective sleeve configured to be sleeved around a container bottom portion of a container. The container protective sleeve includes a protective sleeve body. The protective sleeve body has a bottom board portion and a side wall portion surrounding an outer periphery of the bottom board portion. The bottom board portion and an inner side surface of the side wall portion jointly define an accommodating space configured to be sleeved around the container bottom portion of the container. The side wall portion has at least one concave portion at one side opposite to the bottom board portion, and the side wall portion has at least one extension fin protruding from the at least one concave portion. The at least one extension fin extends away from the bottom board portion.

In certain embodiments, the protective sleeve body is made of silicone or a rubber elastic material, and the bottom board portion and the side wall portion are formed as a one-piece structure.

In certain embodiments, the protective sleeve body is configured to be sleeved around the container bottom portion of the container in tight cooperation.

In certain embodiments, a height of the protective sleeve body is less than a diameter of the protective sleeve body, and a height difference between the at least one extension fin and the at least one concave portion is one fifth to two thirds of the height of protective sleeve body.

In certain embodiments, an edge of the at least one concave portion of the side wall portion and an edge of the at least one extension fin of the side wall portion are connected in an arc-shaped curve.

In certain embodiments, a flange portion is located at an edge of the at least one concave portion of the side wall portion and at an edge of the at least one extension fin of the side wall portion.

In certain embodiments, a thru-hole is located at a center of the bottom board portion.

In certain embodiments, a thickness of the protective sleeve body is within a range from 1 millimeter to 5 millimeters.

Therefore, in the container protective sleeve provided by the present disclosure, since the side wall portion of the protective sleeve body has at least one extension fin, when putting on the protective sleeve body around the container bottom portion or removing the protective sleeve body from the container bottom portion, a user can grasp the at least one extension fin by the fingers to enlarge a diameter of an opening of the side wall portion, so that the protective sleeve body can be easily sleeved around the container bottom portion or be detached from the container bottom portion.

These and other aspects of the present disclosure will become apparent from the following description of the embodiment taken in conjunction with the following drawings and their captions, although variations and modifications therein may be affected without departing from the spirit and scope of the novel concepts of the disclosure.

First Embodiment

Referring to FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, a first embodiment of the present disclosure provides a container protective sleeve. The container protective sleeve includes a protective sleeve body 20, and the protective sleeve body 20 has a bottom board portion 21 and a side wall portion 22 surrounding an outer periphery of the bottom board portion 21. The bottom board portion 21 and an inner side surface of the side wall portion 22 jointly define an accommodating space configured to be sleeved around a container bottom portion 12 of the container 10.

The bottom board portion 21 and the side wall portion 22 of the protective sleeve body 20 are made of rubber, silicone or a resin material, and the bottom board portion 21 and the side wall portion 22 are formed as a one-piece structure. Therefore, the protective sleeve body 20 has a good elasticity. In addition, an inner diameter of the side wall portion 22 of the protective sleeve body 20 is designed to be less than a diameter of the container bottom portion 12, and accordingly, the protective sleeve body 20 is configured to be sleeved around an outer periphery of the container bottom portion 12 in tight cooperation. Since the protective sleeve body 20 itself is made of rubber, silicone or the resin material, the protective sleeve body 20 can have a good elasticity and friction, and since the protective sleeve body 20 is further sleeved around the outer periphery of the container bottom portion 12 in tight cooperation, the protective sleeve body 20 can be tightly sleeved around the outer periphery of the container bottom portion 12 and does not easily fall off

A thickness of the protective sleeve body 20 is within a range from 1 millimeter to 5 millimeters, so that the protective sleeve body 20 can have a thickness that is sufficient enough to absorb an impact force, and the container bottom portion 12 is not easily damaged due to the impact force.

As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the side wall portion 22 has at least one concave portion 23 at one side of the side wall portion 22 corresponding to the bottom board portion 21, and the side wall portion 22 has at least one extension fin 24 relatively protruding from the at least one concave portion 23. In the present embodiment, the quantity of the extension fin 24 and the concave portion 23 of the side wall portion 22 are both two, the two extension fins 24 are symmetrically disposed at two sides of the protective sleeve body 20, and the two concave portions 23 are separately disposed between the two extension fins 24.

In the present embodiment, an edge of the two extension fins 24 and an edge of the two concave portions 23 of the side wall portion 22 are connected in an arc-shaped curve, so that a continuous wave-like profile is formed at an edge of one side of the extension fin 24 corresponding to the bottom board portion 21. In addition, a flange portion 25 in an arc shape is located at the edge of the extension fin 24 and at the edge of the concave portion 23 to increase a thickness of the edge of the extension fin 24 and a thickness of the edge of the concave portion 23, and so that a user can easily have the protective sleeve body 20 sleeved around the container bottom portion 12.

As shown in FIG. 4, when the user puts on the protective sleeve body 20 around the container bottom portion 12, the user can grasp two tail ends of the two extension fins 24 by the fingers, and pull the two tail ends of the two extension fins 24 outwards to enlarge a diameter of the side wall portion 22 of the protective sleeve body 20 to allow the protective sleeve body 20 to be sleeved around the container bottom portion 12. When the user intends to detach the protective sleeve body 20 from the container bottom portion 12, the user can also grasp the two tail ends of the two extension fins 24 with their fingers to pull the two tail ends of the two extension fins 24 outwards. After the side wall portion 22 of the protective body 20 partially detaches from the container bottom portion 12, the user can then take off the protective sleeve body 20 from the container bottom portion 12.

Some of the possible dimensions of the protective sleeve body 20 of the present disclosure are provided as follows, which enables the protective sleeve body 20 to be easily mounted and detached. As shown in FIG. 3, firstly, an overall height H of the protective sleeve body 20 is designed to be less than the diameter of the protective sleeve body 20, and a height difference hl between the extension fin 24 and the concave portion 23 is within one fifth to two thirds of the height of protective sleeve body 20. Through the above configuration, the protective sleeve body 20 of the present disclosure can be easily mounted or detached, and when the protective sleeve body 20 is sleeved around the container bottom portion 12, the protective sleeve body 20 does not easily fall off from the container bottom portion 12 to effectively protect the container 10.

In addition, the protective sleeve body 20 has a thru-hole 26 that is located at a center of the bottom board portion 21. When the protective sleeve body 20 is sleeved around the container bottom portion 12, the thru-hole 26 can allow external air to enter into a gap between an inner side of the protective sleeve body 20 and the container bottom portion 12 through the thru-hole 26. Accordingly, a vacuum state formed by having no air pass into the gap can be prevented, and an issue of the protective sleeve body 20 being unable to be detached due to the inner side of the protective sleeve body 20 and a surface of the container bottom portion being tightly connected to each other under a vacuum suction force can be prevented.

However, the aforementioned description for the container protective sleeve of the first embodiment is merely an example, and is not meant to limit the scope of the present disclosure.

Second Embodiment

Referring to FIG. 5, FIG. 5 shows a second embodiment of the present disclosure. It should be noted that the second embodiment is similar to the above first embodiment, and details regarding similar elements between the first embodiment and the second embodiment will not be reiterated herein.

In the present embodiment, the side wall portion 22 of the protective sleeve body 20 includes at least two extension fins 24 and a plurality of the concave portions 23 between the at least two extension fins 24. As shown in the present embodiment, the quantity of the extension fins 24 and the quantity of the concave portions 23 of the protective sleeve body 20 are not limited to those disclosed in the present embodiment, and can be changed according to practical requirements.

Beneficial Effects of the Embodiments

In conclusion, in the container protective sleeve provided by the present disclosure, since the side wall portion of the protective sleeve body has at least one extension fin, when putting on the protective sleeve body around the container bottom portion or removing the protective sleeve body from the container bottom portion, a user can grasp the at least one extension fin by the fingers to enlarge a diameter of an opening of the side wall portion, so that the protective sleeve body can be easily sleeved around the container bottom portion or be detached from the container bottom portion.

The foregoing description of the exemplary embodiments of the disclosure has been presented only for the purposes of illustration and description and is not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the disclosure to the precise forms disclosed. Many modifications and variations are possible in light of the above teaching.

The embodiments were chosen and described in order to explain the principles of the disclosure and their practical application so as to enable others skilled in the art to utilize the disclosure and various embodiments and with various modifications as are suited to the particular use contemplated.
