GRIP HOLDER FOR CORRECTING GRIP FEELING AND GOLF GLOVE WITH GRIP HOLDER
A grip holder for correcting a grip feeling and a golf glove provided with the grip holder includes supporting grooves arranged on the grip holder such that each of end portions of a middle finger, ring finger, and small finger is guided to be respectively in close contact with the supporting grooves when a grip portion of the golf club is held; a close-contact groove recessively formed on a first side where the supporting grooves are foiled such that the close-contact groove is configured to be in close contact with an outer longitudinal portion of the grip when the grip is held; and a protruding portion formed on an opposite side of a portion.

BACKGROUNDThe present disclosure relates to a grip holder for correcting a grip feeling and to a golf glove provided with the grip holder. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a grip holder which naturally reduces a space existing between a grip and a part of palm and which also provides a stabilized grip feeling to middle, ring, and small fingers when the grip is held by the left hand. Further, the grip holder can be carried on a golf driving range or a golf course and can be used to hold the grip. Furthermore, the grip holder can be provided to be attached to a palm portion of a golf glove, so that a user's fatigue from holding the grip of a golf club can be reduced and slippage of the grip can be prevented by a uniform holding force. In addition, the grip holder closely presses the grip, so that the grip holder makes it easy to enjoy golf with little force and helps to improve athletic performance by maintaining the corrected grip feeling.
Generally, in practicing golf, golfers receive lessons about holding posture of a grip of a golf club, a standing posture, a swing posture, and so on, and enjoy golf at their desired level through practice.
Conventionally, the grip held by both hands is a handle portion of the golf club, and the grip is for preventing a user's fingers and palms from slipping. Further, a posture of holding the grip with the user's both hands such that the twist of the user's wrists does not occur is very important.
Such a posture of holding the grip has a big influence on the exact direction, driving distance, and so on of a golf ball that is hit. Further, when the golf ball is not correctly hit, the user's waist, lower body lead, and rhythm also do not match.
Conventionally, in a right-handed golfer, the right-handed golfer's left hand, which will hold a grip G, wears a golf glove 1 and then holds the grip G, and normally small, ring, middle fingers are required to apply force to appropriately lift a golf club. At this time, a right hand's palm that is positioned in front of the left hand winds and holds the left hand's thumb and the force is applied mainly to the thumb and index finger, so that a holding posture formed by a pistol holding method, which enables proper force transmission and natural rolling, is realized.
As described above, as an earlier application technology related to a golf glove for grip holding, Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0188607 (title: GOLF GLOVE, registered on Apr. 28, 2000, hereinafter, referred to as ‘Patent Document 1’) has been proposed, and Korean Patent Application Publication No. 10-2011-0103488 (title: GOLF GLOVE FOR CORRECT SWING, published on Sep. 21, 2011, hereinafter, referred to as ‘Patent Document 2’) has been proposed.
In Patent Document 1, there is provided a golf glove in which a convex portion is added on a palm portion of an extension line of a small finger portion of a golf glove such that holding area is enlarged and holding force is uniformly distributed when a grip is held, so that correct and strong hitting when swinging is performed is realized. In addition, in the golf glove, a space between a middle finger portion, a ring finger portion, and the small finger portion are sewn such that a stable grip holding state can be maintained.
In Patent Document 2, there is provided a golf glove which guides a constant holding method during a match and which increases athletic performance by strengthening the bond of both hands to maintain a correct swing. In the golf glove, a prosthesis formed of a silicone material is attached to an end portion of a thumb of a left glove, a right side portion of a first joint knuckle of an index finger, and a middle portion of a hand blade side of a palm, so that a constant gripping is guided, slippage is prevented, and holding force is increased.
The convex portion in Patent Document 1, and the prosthesis foiled of the silicone material manufactured to have a size about 3 cm to 4 cm in width and about 1 cm in height and manufactured to maintain an angle of 45 degrees parallel to a direction of the lifeline of a palm have an effect that a situation of slipping or loosing a golf club while swinging is prevented when the prosthesis is wet with sweat or rain and realizes a stable swing with a constant grip.
Conventionally, in a user's left hand gripping of a grip in which the user's left hand winds the grip, when the grip G that is generally round and inclined in a direction toward a club head is held, a predetermined space 1a exists in the left hand that holds the grip as illustrated in
The space 1a as described above induces sway between the palm and the golf club, and the sway is a factor that interrupts transfer of a golfer's skill to the golf club. Therefore, loss of rotational force as well as loss of consistent directionality during swing due to the sway results in underachievement.
Therefore, as described in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2, the shape of the convex portion and the shape of the prosthesis applied on the golf glove focus only on compensating for slippage in holding the grip. Accordingly, in a golfer who will hold the grip, especially in a beginner golfer, there are many situations in which force is unnecessarily applied to the palm holding the grip so as to be in close contact with the grip.
In this situation, the feeling of holding the grip with the left hand varies from person to person according to the amount of practice, and a lot of time may be required to learn a more stable grip feeling of the grip. In such an unstable grip feeling of the grip or playing golf for a long time, as the user is not able to maintain a stable grip feeling of the grip, the user focuses on the grip in the swing posture and an unnatural swing is performed, so that a poor result occurs.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAccordingly, the present disclosure has been made keeping in mind the above problems occurring in the related art, and an objective of the present disclosure is to provide a grip holder for correcting a grip feeling and to provide a golf glove provided with the grip holder, the grip holder being capable of naturally reducing a space existing between a grip and a part of palm and also being capable of providing a stabilized grip feeling to middle, ring, and small fingers when the grip is held by the left hand. Further, the grip holder can be carried on a golf driving range or a golf course and can be used to hold the grip. Furthermore, the grip holder can be provided to be attached to a palm portion of a golf glove, so that a user's fatigue from holding the grip of a golf club can be reduced and slippage of the grip can be prevented by a uniform holding force. In addition, the grip holder closely presses the grip, so that the grip holder makes it easy to enjoy golf with little force and helps to improve athletic performance by maintaining the corrected grip feeling.
In order to achieve the objective of the present disclosure, there is provided a grip holder including: supporting grooves arranged on the grip holder such that each of end portions of a middle finger, ring finger, and small finger is guided to be respectively in close contact with the supporting grooves when a grip portion of the golf club is held; a close-contact groove recessively formed on a first side where the supporting grooves are formed such that the close-contact groove is configured to be in close contact with an outer longitudinal portion of the grip when the grip is held; and a protruding portion formed on an opposite side of a portion where the close-contact groove is formed such that the protruding portion is configured to be seated on a position where thenar muscle and hypothenar muscle are retracted among muscles of hand on which a user wears a golf glove when the user holds the grip.
According to the present disclosure, a recessed groove portion guiding and supporting a partial portion of the hypothenar muscle of the hand of the user who wears the golf glove when the grip is held may be recessively formed on a line of the protruding portion.
According to the present disclosure, the grip holder may be molded of a soft silicone or an urethane-based material.
According to the present disclosure, the grip holder may be attached to a position where the thenar muscle and the hypothenar muscle are retracted among the muscles of the hand when the golf glove is worn, the position being an outer surface of a palm portion of the golf glove.
In the grip holder and the golf glove provided with the grip holder according to the present disclosure, when a user naturally winds the grip of the golf club together with the grip holder with bare hands or when wearing gloves, the grip is held in a state in which a lengthwise surface portion of the grip is positioned at the close-contact groove of the grip holder, the middle, ring, small fingers of the user's left hand are positioned at the corresponding positions on the supporting grooves, and the protruding portion is positioned between the border of the thenar muscle and the border of the hypothenar muscle of the user's hand such that the grip is more stably held according to the shape of the closed hand when the user's palm holds the grip. Therefore, holding of the grip is stably realized with little force, the corrected grip feeling is provided by the grip holder that naturally and closely presses the grip, and also a stabilized effect of holding the grip is maintained to the golfer, so that an always stable posture and an improved athletic performance during playing golf may be facilitated.

As described above, when the grip G is held, the protruding portion 15 positioned at the opposite side of the portion where the supporting grooves 11, 12, and 13 are foiled is positioned in a stable state at the position between a border of the thenar muscle a1 and the hypothenar muscle a2 of the palm closed by the user, and the partial portion of the hypothenar muscle a2 is naturally in close contact with the recessed groove portion 16 that is foiled on a first side of the protruding portion 15, thereby increasing a more stabilized tightness while the grip G is held.
The close-contact groove 14 preventing slippage of the grip G when the grip G is held as described above, the position of the protruding portion 15, and the first side of the supporting grooves 11, 12, and 13 may fill a space 1a that is naturally left when a conventional grip is held.

As described above, when the grip G of the golf club is held with bare hands via the grip holder 10 or is held after the user wears the golf glove 1 in which the grip holder 10 is attached to the golf glove 1, sway which occurs between the palm and the golf club during swing and which is caused by wrong left hand holding that unnecessarily and tightly holds the grip G of the golf club as before may be prevented. Further, an irregular factor that interrupts transmission of force to the golf club may be solved, and a constant directionality when the golfer performs swing rotation that is performed mainly by holding and swing the grip G is maintained, so that a naturally corrected grip feeling is maintained and an improved athletic performance may be facilitated.

Claims
1. A grip holder for correcting a grip feeling and for holding a grip of a golf club, the grip holder comprising:
- supporting grooves arranged on the grip holder such that each of end portions of a middle finger, ring finger, and small finger is guided to be respectively in close contact with the supporting grooves when a grip portion of the golf club is held;
- a close-contact groove recessively formed on a first side where the supporting grooves are formed such that the close-contact groove is configured to be in close contact with an outer longitudinal portion of the grip when the grip is held; and
- a protruding portion formed on an opposite side of a portion where the close-contact groove is formed such that the protruding portion is configured to be seated on a position where thenar muscle and hypothenar muscle are retracted among muscles of hand on which a user wears a golf glove when the user holds the grip.
2. The grip holder of claim 1, wherein a recessed groove portion guiding and supporting a partial portion of the hypothenar muscle of the hand of the user who wears the golf glove when the grip is held is recessively formed on a line of the protruding portion.
3. The grip holder of claim 1, wherein the grip holder is molded of a soft silicone or an urethane-based material.
4. The golf glove of claim 1, wherein the grip holder is attached to a position where the thenar muscle and the hypothenar muscle are retracted among the muscles of the hand when the golf glove is worn, the position being an outer surface of a palm portion of the golf glove.
