BOTTLE WITH HANDLE

The present invention is a bottle with a handle which includes a bottle in which a mouth portion, a shoulder portion, a body portion, and a bottom portion are configured continuously in this order from top to bottom; and a handle. The body portion is provided with a mounting recess which is recessed forward and opened rearward, in a radial direction. The handle is mounted to the mounting recess. An upper peripheral groove extending continuously over an entire length in a circumferential direction is formed in a connecting portion between the shoulder portion and the body portion. A portion of the upper peripheral groove which is located at the same position in the circumferential direction as at least a part of the mounting recess is a shallow groove portion having a groove depth shallower than other portion.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a bottle with a handle.

Description of Related Art

From the related art, for example, a bottle with a handle as shown in Japanese Patent No. 5574232 is known. The bottle with a handle includes a bottle in which a mouth portion, a shoulder portion, a body portion, and a bottom portion are configured continuously in this order from top to bottom, and a handle. A mounting recess that is recessed forward and is open rearward in a radial direction is provided in the body portion, and the handle is mounted in the mounting recess.

Also, from the related art, for example, bottles with a handle, such as those disclosed in Japanese Unexamined Patent Application, First Publication No. 2001-048189 and Japanese Patent No. 3939878, are known. In the bottles with a handle, a mounting recess that is recessed forward and is open rearward in the radial direction is provided in a body portion of a bottle having a central axis that extends in a vertical direction, and a handle is mounted in the mounting recess.

However, in the bottle with a handle as disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 5574232, when a compressive load is applied to the bottle in the vertical direction, there is a likelihood that a portion of the bottle located above the mounting recess will tend to incline toward the rear in which the mounting recess is provided in the radial direction, and for example, creases will occur in a rear portion of the shoulder portion located directly above the mounting recess, which may reduce a buckling strength.

In addition, in the bottle with a handle as disclosed in Japanese Unexamined Patent Application, First Publication No. 2001-048189 and Japanese Patent No. 3939878, in particular, with the thinning of bottles of recent years, when a handle is lifted, there is a likelihood that an inner surface of the mounting recess may be deformed and a handle may easily bend against the bottle.

The present invention provides a bottle with a handle in which, when a compressive load is applied to the bottle in the vertical direction, the portion of the bottle located above the mounting recess inclining rearward can be suppressed, and when a handle is lifted, a handle being shaken with respect to the bottle can be suppressed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A first aspect of the present invention is a bottle with a handle which includes a bottle in which a mouth portion, a shoulder portion, a body portion, and a bottom portion are configured continuously in this order from top to bottom; and a handle. The body portion is provided with a mounting recess which is recessed forward and opens rearward, in a radial direction. The handle is mounted to the mounting recess. An upper peripheral groove extending continuously over an entire length in a circumferential direction is formed in a connecting portion between the shoulder portion and the body portion. A portion of the upper peripheral groove which is located at the same position in the circumferential direction as at least a part of the mounting recess is a shallow groove portion having a groove depth shallower than other portions.

In this case, in the upper peripheral groove formed in the connecting portion between the shoulder portion and the body portion, the portion that is located at the same position in the circumferential direction as at least a part of the mounting recess is the shallow groove portion having a groove depth shallower than the other portion. As a result, in the upper peripheral groove, the shallow groove portion is less likely to collapse in the vertical direction than the other portion, and when a compressive load is applied to the bottle in the vertical direction, the upper portion of the bottle located above the mounting recess can be suppressed from inclining toward the rear in which the mounting recess is provided in the radial direction.

A second aspect of the present invention is the bottle with a handle according to the first aspect, in which a first stepped portion which faces the circumferential direction is provided at a boundary portion of the upper peripheral groove between the shallow groove portion and the other portion.

In this case, the first stepped portion facing the circumferential direction is provided at the boundary portion of the upper peripheral groove between the shallow groove portion and the other portion. As a result, the boundary portion of the upper peripheral groove between the shallow groove portion and the other portion can be made less likely to collapse in the vertical direction than the other portion, and when the compressive load is applied to the bottle in the vertical direction, the upper portion of the bottle can be reliably suppressed from inclining rearward.

A third aspect of the present invention is the bottle with a handle according to the second aspect, in which a pair of upper and lower second stepped portions which extend from the first stepped portion toward a side of the other portion along the circumferential direction is provided at the boundary portion, the second stepped portion is provided on each of an upper side surface which is located at an upper end and faces downward, and a lower side surface which is located at a lower end and faces upward, in the inner surface of the upper peripheral groove, and a protruding amount of the second stepped portion in a vertical direction from the upper side surface and the lower side surface increases toward the shallow groove portion in the circumferential direction.

In this case, a pair of upper and lower second stepped portions are provided at the boundary portion of the upper peripheral groove between the shallow groove portion and the other portion. As a result, when a compressive load is applied to the bottle in the vertical direction, it is possible to suppress concentration of stress on the boundary portion of the upper peripheral groove, thereby ensuring the buckling strength.

A fourth aspect of the present invention is the bottle with the handle according to any one of the first aspect to the third aspect, in which the shallow groove portion extends in the circumferential direction, and is located at a same position in the circumferential direction as the mounting recess over an entire length in the circumferential direction.

In this case, the shallow groove portion extends in the circumferential direction, and is located at the same position in the circumferential direction as the mounting recess over the entire length in the circumferential direction. As a result, the upper portion of the bottle can be reliably prevented from inclining rearward when a compressive load is applied to the bottle in the vertical direction, while ensuring the horizontal rigidity of the connecting portion between the shoulder portion and the body portion.

A fifth aspect of the present invention is the bottle with the handle according to the fourth aspect, in which the shallow groove portion is provided over an angle range up to locations which are separated by 15° or more and 75° or less from a central portion of the mounting recess in the circumferential direction to each of both sides in the circumferential direction, around a central axis of the body portion.

In this case, the shallow groove portions are provided over an angle range up to locations which are separated by 15° or more and 75° or less from the central portion of the mounting recess in the circumferential direction to each of both sides in the circumferential direction, around the central axis of the body portion. As a result, it is possible to reliably prevent the upper portion of the bottle from inclining rearward, when a compressive load is applied to the bottle in the vertical direction.

A sixth aspect of the present invention is the bottle with the handle according to any one of the first to fifth aspects in which a groove depth of the other portion of the upper peripheral groove is 1.2 times or more and 2.0 times or less a groove depth of the shallow groove portion.

In this case, the groove depth of the other portion in the upper peripheral groove is 1.2 times or more and 2.0 times or less of the groove depth of the shallow groove portion. As a result, the shallow groove portion of the upper peripheral groove can be more reliably prevented from collapsing in the vertical direction than the other portion.

A seventh aspect of the present invention is the bottle with the handle according to the first aspect in which the inner surface of the mounting recess includes an upper surface facing downward, a lower surface facing upward, a bottom surface which faces rearward and connects a front end portion of the upper surface and a front end portions of the lower surface, and a lower connecting surface which extends downward from an outer peripheral edge of the lower surface, and is connected to an outer peripheral surface of the body portion, the handle includes a fixing plate which is fixed to the bottom surface of the mounting recess and extends in the vertical direction, a handle portion which is provided behind the fixing plate and extends in the vertical direction, an upper connection plate which connects an upper end portion of the fixing plate and an upper end portion of the handle portion, and is fixed to the upper surface of the mounting recess, and a lower connection plate which connects lower end portions of each of the fixing plate and the handle portion, and is fixed to the lower surface of the mounting recess, the lower connecting surface includes a vertical stepped surface which extends downward from the outer peripheral edge of the lower surface and faces rearward, and a horizontal stepped surface which extends rearward from a lower end portion of the vertical stepped surface and faces upward, and the lower connection plate protrudes rearward from the vertical stepped surface, while being separated upward from the horizontal stepped surface.

In this case, the lower connection plate of the handle protrudes rearward from the vertical stepped surface, while being separated upward from the horizontal stepped surface. As a result, when the handle is lifted, even if the lower connection plate is about to be displaced rearward around the upper connection plate, the vertical stepped surface exerts a rib effect to support the lower connection plate from the lower part of the lower connection plate, and the handle can be made less likely to wobble with respect to the bottle.

An eighth aspect of the present invention is the bottle with the handle according to the seventh aspect in which a pair of vertical grooves which sandwich the upper connection plate are provided on the upper surface in a left-right direction orthogonal to a front-rear direction when viewed from the vertical direction.

In this case, the pair of vertical grooves which sandwich the upper connection plate in the left-right direction are provided on the upper surface of the mounting recess. This makes it possible to enhance the rigidity of the portion of the upper surface of the mounting recess that is located between the pair of vertical grooves and fixes the upper connection plate, and the handle can be made less likely to wobble with respect to the bottle relaibly.

A ninth aspect of the present invention is the bottle with the handle according to the seventh or eighth aspect, in which the inner surface of the mounting recess includes an upper connecting surface which extends outward in the radial direction from an outer peripheral edge of the upper surface as it goes upward, and is connected to an outer peripheral surface of the body portion.

In this case, the inner surface of the mounting recess includes an upper connecting surface that extends outward in the radial direction as it goes upward from the outer peripheral edge of the upper surface of the mounting recess, and is connected to the outer peripheral surface of the body portion. As a result, a draw ratio of the upper connecting surface is suppressed to be lower than the draw ratio of the outer peripheral surface of the body portion at the time of blow molding of the bottle. Therefore, when the bottle is blow-molded using the handle as an insert, it is possible to suppress an occurrence of voids due to overstretching, on the upper connecting surface that continues to the upper surface of the mounting recess which is hard to extend by fixing the upper connection plate of the handle.

A tenth aspect of the present invention is the bottle with the handle according to the ninth aspect, in which a reinforcing rib is formed in a portion of the upper connecting surface that is adjacent to the upper connection plate in the vertical direction.

In this case, the reinforcing rib is formed on the upper connecting surface of the mounting recess at a portion that is adjacent to the upper connection plate of the handle in the vertical direction. As a result, since the rigidity of this portion is enhanced, it is possible to make the upper connecting surface hard to deform when the handle is lifted, and the handle can be reliably made hard to wobble with respect to the bottle.

According to the present invention, when a compressive load is applied to the bottle in the vertical direction, the portion of the bottle located above the mounting recess can be prevented from inclining rearward. Furthermore, it is possible to prevent the handle from wobbling with respect to the bottle.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION First Embodiment

A first embodiment according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In this embodiment, a bottle 1 with the handle includes a bottle 10 and a handle 11, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. An internal volume of the bottle 10 is, for example, 1 liter or more. The bottle 10 has a mouth portion 12, a shoulder portion 13, a body portion 14 and a bottom portion 15, and the mouth portion 12 to the bottom portion 15 are configured continuously in this order with their central axes located on a common axis.

Hereinafter, the common axis is referred to as a central axis O, the mouth portion 12 side along the central axis O is referred to as an upper side, the bottom portion 15 side is referred to as a lower side, and a direction along the central axis O is referred to as a vertical direction. When viewed from the vertical direction, a direction intersecting the central axis O is referred to as a radial direction, and a direction of rotation around the central axis O is referred to as a circumferential direction. In the radial direction, a side on which the handle 11 is provided with respect to the central axis O is referred to as a rear side, and a side opposite to the handle 11 that sandwiches the central axis O in the radial direction is referred to as a front side. A direction orthogonal to a front-rear direction when viewed from the vertical direction is referred to as a left-right direction.

In the shown example, the mouth portion 12, the shoulder portion 13, the body portion 14, and the bottom portion 15 are each formed to have a circular cross-sectional shape orthogonal to the central axis O. The handle 11 is formed in an annular shape that is opened in the left-right direction.

An upper peripheral groove 17 extending continuously over the entire length in the circumferential direction is formed in a connection portion between the shoulder portion 13 and the body portion 14. An upper end portion 14a of the body portion 14 includes a rear portion sandwiched in the vertical direction between the upper peripheral groove 17 and a mounting recess 16, which will be described below. A radius of the rear portion of the upper end portion 14a of the body portion 14 is smaller than the radius of other portions. A lower peripheral groove 18 extending continuously over the entire length in the circumferential direction is formed in the connection portion between the body portion 14 and the bottom portion 15. The lower end portion 14b of the body portion 14 is a portion that continues to the lower peripheral groove 18 from the upper part of the lower peripheral groove 18. The upper end portion 14a and the lower end portion 14b of the body portion 14 are portions having the largest diameter.

The mounting recess 16 that is recessed forward and opened rearward is provided in the body portion 14. The mounting recess 16 is integrally opened rearward and in the left-right direction. The mounting recess 16 is provided in the upper portion of the body portion 14. A central portion of the mounting recess 16 in the left-right direction is located at the central portion in the left-right direction of the portion that faces rearward, in the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 14.

An inner surface of the mounting recess 16 includes an upper surface 21, a lower surface 22, a bottom surface 23, a lower connecting surface 24 and an upper connecting surface 25.

The upper surface 21 faces downward and the lower surface 22 faces upward. The lower surface 22 is located below the upper surface 21 and opposite to the upper surface 21 in the vertical direction. The bottom surface 23 faces rearward, and connects the front end portions of the upper surface 21 and the lower surface 22 to each other. The bottom surface 23 has a curved shape that is recessed forward when viewed in a cross-section along the vertical direction and the front-rear direction, and has a curved shape that protrudes rearward when viewed in a cross-section along the radial direction. The lower connecting surface 24 extends downward from the outer peripheral edge of the lower surface 22 and is connected to the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 14. The upper connecting surface 25 extends radially outward as it goes upward from the outer peripheral edge of the upper surface 21, and is connected to the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 14.

A reinforcing groove 21a which has a curved shape protruding rearward when viewed from below is formed on the outer peripheral edge portion of the upper surface 21. When viewed from below, the reinforcing groove 21a has a symmetrical shape with respect to a straight line passing through the central portion of the mounting recess 16 in the left-right direction and extending in the radial direction. An apex of the reinforcing groove 21a that protrudes rearward when viewed from below is located at the central portion of the mounting recess 16 in the left-right direction.

The handle 11 is mounted to the mounting recess 16. The handle 11 is provided at the central portion of the mounting recess 16 in the left-right direction. The handle 11 includes a fixing plate 31, a handle portion 32, an upper connection plate 33, and a lower connection plate 34.

The fixing plate 31 is formed in a plate shape having a rectangular shape elongated in the vertical direction when viewed in the front-rear direction. The fixing plate 31 is curved to protrude forward when viewed from the left-right direction. The fixing plate 31 is fixed to the bottom surface 23 of the mounting recess 16.

The handle portion 32 is provided behind the fixing plate 31. The handle portion 32 is formed in a plate shape having a rectangular shape elongated in the vertical direction when viewed from the front-rear direction. The handle portion 32 extends straight in the vertical direction. The handle portion 32 is located behind the upper surface 21 and the lower surface 22 in the mounting recess 16. An upper end portion and a lower end portion of the handle portion 32 each extend forward as they extend outward in the vertical direction. The upper end portion of the handle portion 32 is located below the upper connecting surface 25 of the mounting recess 16, and opposite to the upper connecting surface 25 in the vertical direction.

The upper connection plate 33 connects the upper end portions of each of the fixing plate 31 and the handle portion 32, and is fixed to the upper surface 21 of the mounting recess 16. The lower connection plate 34 connects the lower end portions of each of the fixing plate 31 and the handle portion 32, and is fixed to the lower surface 22 of the mounting recess 16.

Here, the upper surface 21 of the mounting recess 16 is provided with a pair of first vertical grooves 28 that sandwich the upper connection plate 33 in the left-right direction. The first vertical groove 28 reaches the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 14a of the body portion 14 via the upper connecting surface 25. The pair of first vertical grooves 28 extend in a direction in which an interval in the left-right direction widens from the upper surface 21 side of the mounting recess 16 toward the upper end portion 14a side of the body portion 14. The first vertical groove 28 communicates with the upper peripheral groove 17 and the reinforcing groove 21a.

A pair of second vertical grooves 29 that sandwich the pair of first vertical grooves 28 in the left-right direction are provided on the upper surface 21 of the mounting recess 16. The second vertical groove 29 reaches the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 14a of the body portion 14 via the upper connecting surface 25. The pair of second vertical grooves 29 extend in a direction in which an interval in the left-right direction widens from the upper surface 21 side of the mounting recess 16 toward the upper end portion 14a side of the body portion 14. The second vertical groove 29 communicates with the upper peripheral groove 17 and the reinforcing groove 21a. The second vertical groove 29 is opened to the end portion of the reinforcing groove 21a in the circumferential direction. Groove widths of each of the second vertical grooves 29 and the first vertical grooves 28 are equal to each other. When viewed from the rear, inclination angles of each of the second vertical grooves 29 and the first vertical grooves 28 to the central axis O are equal to each other.

A reinforcing rib 25a is formed at a portion of the upper connecting surface 25 of the mounting recess 16 that is adjacent to the upper connection plate 33 of the handle 11 in the vertical direction. The reinforcing rib 25a is a groove extending in the left-right direction. A plurality of reinforcing ribs 25a are formed at intervals in the vertical direction. The reinforcing rib 25a is located above the upper end portion of the handle portion 32 and opposite to the upper end portion in the vertical direction.

The bottle 1 with the handle is formed such that the bottle 10 is formed, and at the same time, the handle 11 is mounted to the mounting recess 16 of the bottle 10, by blow-molding a bottomed cylindrical preform in a cavity into which the handle 11 is inserted. The preform and the handle 11 are formed in advance by injection molding.

The above-mentioned cavity is provided between the overlapping surfaces of each of a pair of molding dies that are provided to be able to abut on and separate from each other. The front end portions of each of the pair of molding dies are connected to each other via a rotation axis extending in the vertical direction, and when the pair of molding dies rotate around the rotation axis, the overlapping surfaces of each of the pair of molding dies abut on and separate from each other to open and close the cavity. As a result, a parting line is located at the central portion in the left-right direction of each of the forward-facing portion and the rearward-facing portion of the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 14, and extends in the vertical direction.

In this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the portion of the upper peripheral groove 17 that is located at the same position in the circumferential direction as at least a part of the mounting recess 16 is a shallow groove portion 26 that has a groove depth shallower than that of the other portion 27. The shallow groove portion 26 extends in the circumferential direction, and is located at the same position in the circumferential direction as the mounting recess 16 over the entire length in the circumferential direction. The shallow groove portion 26 is provided over an angle range that is separated by 15° or more and 75° or less from the central portion of the mounting recess 16 in the circumferential direction to both sides in the circumferential direction, around the central axis O. That is, the shallow groove portion 26 is provided over the angle range up to locations that are separated by 15° or more and 75° or less from the central portion of the mounting recess 16 in the circumferential direction to each of both sides in the circumferential direction, around the central axis O. The shallow groove portion 26 is provided over an angle range of 30° or more and 150° or less around the central axis O. The shallow groove portion 26 is provided over an angle range that is separated by the same angle from the central portion of the mounting recess 16 in the circumferential direction to both sides in the circumferential direction, around the central axis O. That is, the shallow groove portion 26 is provided over an angle range up to the locations that are separated by the same angle from the central portion of the mounting recess 16 in the circumferential direction to both sides in the circumferential direction, around the central axis O. The size of the shallow groove portion 26 in the circumferential direction is smaller than the size of the mounting recess 16 in the circumferential direction. The central portions of each of the shallow groove portion 26 and the mounting recess 16 in the circumferential direction coincide with each other.

A groove depth of the other portion 27 is 1.2 times or more and 2.0 times or less of a groove depth of the shallow groove portion 26. The size of the other portion 27 in the circumferential direction is larger than the size of the shallow groove portion 26 in the circumferential direction. The groove depth of the other portion 27 and the groove depth of the shallow groove portion 26 are equal over the entire length in the circumferential direction.

A first stepped portion 41 and a second stepped portion 42 are provided at a boundary portion of the upper peripheral groove 17 between the shallow groove portion 26 and the other portion 27. Further, the first stepped portion 41 and the second stepped portion 42 may not be provided at the boundary portion of the upper peripheral groove 17.

The first stepped portion 41 is a wall surface that rises radially outward from the groove bottom surface of the other portion 27 and faces the other portion 27 side along the circumferential direction. The size of the first stepped portion 41 in the vertical direction is smaller than the size of the upper peripheral groove 17 in the vertical direction. The central portions of each of the first stepped portion 41 and the upper peripheral groove 17 in the vertical direction coincide with each other. That is, the central portions of each of the first stepped portion 41 and the upper peripheral groove 17 in the vertical direction are located at the same position in the vertical direction. A second vertical groove 29 is opened in a portion of the upper peripheral groove 17 on which the first stepped portion 41 is located.

The second stepped portion 42 extends from the first stepped portion 41 toward the other portion 27 side along the circumferential direction, and is provided as a pair vertically. The second stepped portion 42 is separately provided on the inner surface of the upper peripheral groove 17, on an upper side surface 17a that is located at the upper end and faces downward, and a lower side surface 17b that is located at the lower end and faces upward. A protruding amount in the vertical direction from the upper side surface 17a and the lower side surface 17b increases toward the shallow groove portion 26 along the circumferential direction. That is, the second stepped portion 42 is provided on the inner surface of the upper peripheral groove 17, on each of the upper side surface 17a located at the upper end and facing downward, and the lower side surface 17b located at the lower end and facing upward. The protruding amount of the second stepped portion 42 in the vertical direction from the upper side surface 17a and the lower side surface 17b increases toward the shallow groove portion 26 along the circumferential direction. The second stepped portion 42 is provided on the radially inner portion of each of the upper side surface 17a and the lower side surface 17b. The pair of second stepped portions 42 and the first stepped portion 41 have a horizontal V shape in which the pair of second stepped portions 42 extend in a direction away from each other in the vertical direction toward the other portion 27 side along the circumferential direction, when viewed from the outer side in the radial direction.

As described above, according to the bottle 1 with the handle according to the present embodiment, in the upper peripheral groove 17 formed in the connecting portion between the shoulder portion 13 and the body portion 14, the portion that is located at the same position in the circumferential direction as at least a part of the mounting recess 16 is the shallow groove portion 26 having a groove depth shallower than the other portion 27. As a result, in the upper peripheral groove 17, the shallow groove portion 26 is less likely to collapse in the vertical direction than the other portion 27, and when a compressive load is applied to the bottle 10 in the vertical direction, the upper portion of the bottle 10 located above the mounting recess 16 can be suppressed from inclining toward the rear in which the mounting recess 16 is provided in the radial direction.

A first stepped portion 41 facing the circumferential direction is provided at the boundary portion of the upper peripheral groove 17 between the shallow groove portion 26 and the other portion 27. As a result, the boundary portion of the upper peripheral groove 17 between the shallow groove portion 26 and the other portion 27 can be made more difficult to collapse in the vertical direction than the other portion 27, and when a compressive load is applied to the bottle 10 in the vertical direction, the upper portion of the bottle 10 can be reliably suppressed from inclining rearward.

A pair of upper and lower second stepped portions 42 are provided at the boundary portion of the upper peripheral groove 17 between the shallow groove portion 26 and the other portion 27. As a result, when a compressive load is applied to the bottle 10 in the vertical direction, it is possible to suppress concentration of stress on the boundary portion of the upper peripheral groove 17, thereby ensuring the buckling strength.

The shallow groove portion 26 extends in the circumferential direction, and is located at the same position in the circumferential direction as the mounting recess 16 over the entire length in the circumferential direction. As a result, the upper portion of the bottle 10 can be reliably prevented from inclining rearward when a compressive load is applied to the bottle 10 in the vertical direction, while ensuring the horizontal rigidity of the connecting portion between the shoulder portion 13 and the body portion 14.

The shallow groove portions 26 are provided over an angle range from the central portion of the mounting recess 16 in the circumferential direction to a location separated by 15° or more and 75° or less to both sides in the circumferential direction, around the central axis O. As a result, it is possible to reliably prevent the upper portion of the bottle 10 from inclining rearward, when a compressive load is applied to the bottle 10 in the vertical direction.

The groove depth of the other portion 27 in the upper peripheral groove 17 is 1.2 times or more and 2.0 times or less of the groove depth of the shallow groove portion 26. As a result, the shallow groove portion 26 of the upper peripheral groove 17 can be more reliably prevented from collapsing in the vertical direction than the other portion 27.

The technical scope of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

For example, the handle 11 and the mounting recess 16 are not limited to the above embodiment, and may be changed as appropriate. The mounting recess 16 may not have the lower connecting surface 24 and the upper connecting surface 25. The reinforcing ribs 25a may not be provided on the upper connecting surface 25. The first vertical groove 28, the second vertical groove 29, and the reinforcing groove 21a may not be provided on the upper surface 21 of the mounting recess 16. The radius of the upper end portion 14a of the body portion 14 may be the same over the entire length in the circumferential direction.

In addition, within the scope that does not depart from the spirit of the present invention, it is possible to appropriately replace the constituent elements in the above-described embodiment with well-known constituent elements, and the above-described embodiment and modified examples may be appropriately combined.

Second Embodiment

A second embodiment according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In this embodiment, a bottle 101 with a handle includes a bottle 110 and a handle 111, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7. An internal volume of the bottle 110 is, for example, 1 liter or more. The bottle 110 has a mouth portion 112, a shoulder portion 113, a body portion 114 and a bottom portion 115, and the mouth portion 112 to the bottom portion 115 are configured continuously in this order with their central axes located on a common axis.

Hereinafter, the common axis is referred to as a central axis O, the mouth portion 112 side along the central axis O is referred to as an upper side, the bottom portion 115 side is referred to as a lower side, and a direction along the central axis O is referred to as a vertical direction. When viewed from the vertical direction, a direction intersecting the central axis O is referred to as a radial direction, and a direction orbiting around the central axis O is referred to as a circumferential direction. In the radial direction, a side on which the handle 111 is provided with respect to the central axis O is referred to as a rear side, and an opposite side of the handle 111 that sandwiches the central axis O in the radial direction is referred to as a front side. A direction orthogonal to a front-rear direction when viewed from the vertical direction is referred to as a left-right direction.

In the shown example, the mouth portion 112, the shoulder portion 113, the body portion 114, and the bottom portion 115 are each formed to have a circular cross-sectional shape orthogonal to the central axis O. The handle 111 is formed in an annular shape that is opened in the left-right direction.

An upper peripheral groove 117 extending continuously over the entire length in the circumferential direction is formed in a connection portion between the shoulder portion 113 and the body portion 114. An upper end portion 114a of the body portion 114 includes a rear portion sandwiched in the vertical direction between the upper peripheral groove 117 and a mounting recess 116, which will be described below. A radius of the rear portion of the upper end portion 114a of the body portion 114 is smaller than the radius of other portions. A lower peripheral groove 118 extending continuously over the entire length in the circumferential direction is formed in the connection portion between the body portion 114 and the bottom portion 115. The lower end portion 114b of the body portion 114 is a portion that continues to the lower peripheral groove 118 from the upper part of the lower peripheral groove 118. The upper end portion 114a and the lower end portion 114b of the body portion 114 are portions having the largest diameter.

The mounting recess 116 that is recessed forward and opened rearward is provided in the body portion 114. The mounting recess 116 is integrally opened rearward and in the left-right direction. The mounting recess 116 is provided in the upper portion of the body portion 114. A central portion of the mounting recess 116 in the left-right direction is located at the central portion in the left-right direction of the portion that faces rearward, in the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 114.

An inner surface of the mounting recess 116 includes an upper surface 121, a lower surface 122, a bottom surface 123, a lower connecting surface 124 and an upper connecting surface 125.

The upper surface 121 faces downward and the lower surface 122 faces upward. The lower surface 122 is located below the upper surface 121 and opposite to the upper surface 121 in the vertical direction. The bottom surface 123 faces rearward, and connects the front end portions of each of the upper surface 121 and the lower surface 122 to each other. The bottom surface 123 has a curved shape that is recessed forward when viewed in a cross-section along the vertical direction and the front-rear direction, and has a curved shape that protrudes rearward when viewed in a cross-section along the radial direction. The lower connecting surface 124 extends downward from the outer peripheral edge of the lower surface 122, and is connected to the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 114. The upper connecting surface 125 extends radially outward as it goes upward from the outer peripheral edge of the upper surface 121, and is connected to the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 114a of the body portion 114.

A reinforcing groove 121a which has a curved shape protruding rearward when viewed from below is formed on the outer peripheral edge portion of the upper surface 121. When viewed from below, the reinforcing groove 121a has a symmetrical shape with respect to a straight line passing through the central portion of the mounting recess 116 in the left-right direction and extending in the radial direction. An apex of the reinforcing groove 121a that protrudes rearward when viewed from below is located at the central portion of the mounting recess 116 in the left-right direction.

The lower connecting surface 124 includes a vertical stepped surface 126 that extends downward from the outer peripheral edge of the lower surface 122 and faces rearward, and a horizontal stepped surface 127 that extends rearward from the lower end portion of the vertical stepped surface 126 and faces upward. The vertical stepped surface 126 extends straight in the vertical direction, and the horizontal stepped surface 127 extends downward toward the rear. The vertical stepped surface 126 extends straight in the left-right direction in a cross-sectional view orthogonal to the vertical direction. The vertical stepped surface 126 may be curved or bent to extend in the horizontal direction in a cross-sectional view orthogonal to the vertical direction. The upper end portion of the vertical stepped surface 126 is formed in a curved surface shape that protrudes rearward. The vertical stepped surface 126 and the horizontal stepped surface 127 extend in the left-right direction. The sizes of each of the vertical stepped surface 126 and the horizontal stepped surface 127 in the left-right direction are equal to or more than half the size of the mounting recess 116 in the left-right direction. When viewed from the rear, the vertical stepped surface 126 and the horizontal stepped surface 127 have a symmetrical shape with respect to a straight line passing through the central portion of the mounting recess 116 in the left-right direction and extending in the vertical direction. The size of the vertical stepped surface 126 in the vertical direction is smaller than the size of the horizontal stepped surface 127 in the front-rear direction. The vertical stepped surface 126 may extend rearward or forward as it goes downward, and may exhibit a straight line or a curved line in a cross-sectional view along the vertical direction and the front-rear direction. The horizontal stepped surface 127 may extend straight in the front-rear direction, may extend upward as it extends rearward, or may exhibit a straight line or a curved line in a cross-sectional view along the vertical direction and the front-rear direction.

The handle 111 is mounted to the mounting recess 116. The handle 111 is provided at the central portion of the mounting recess 116 in the left-right direction. The handle 111 includes a fixing plate 131, a handle portion 132, an upper connection plate 133, and a lower connection plate 134.

The fixing plate 131 is formed in a plate shape having a rectangular shape elongated in the vertical direction when viewed in the front-rear direction. The fixing plate 131 is curved to protrude forward when viewed from the left-right direction. The fixing plate 131 is fixed to the bottom surface 123 of the mounting recess 116. The front portion of the fixing plate 131 is buried in a wall portion that forms the bottom surface 123 of the mounting recess 116 over the entire length in the vertical direction, and the rear portion protrudes rearward from the bottom surface 123 of the mounting recess 116 over the entire length in the vertical direction.

The handle portion 132 is provided behind the fixing plate 131. The handle portion 132 is formed in a plate shape having a rectangular shape elongated in the vertical direction when viewed from the front-rear direction. The handle portion 132 extends straight in the vertical direction. The handle portion 132 is located behind the upper surface 121 and the lower surface 122 in the mounting recess 116. A rear surface of the handle portion 132 is located at the same radial position as the portion having the same circumferential position as the handle portion 132 on the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 114a of the body portion 114, and is located on the radially inner side than the portion having the same circumferential position as the handle portion 132 on the outer peripheral surface of the lower end portion 114b of the body portion 114. An upper end portion and a lower end portion of the handle portion 132 each extend forward as they extend outward in the vertical direction. The upper end portion of the handle portion 132 is located below the upper connecting surface 125 of the mounting recess 116, and opposite to the upper connecting surface 125 in the vertical direction.

The upper connection plate 133 connects the upper end portions of each of the fixing plate 131 and the handle portion 132, and is fixed to the upper surface 121 of the mounting recess 116. The upper connection plate 133 is buried in the wall portion that forms the upper surface 121 of the mounting recess 116 over the entire length in the front-rear direction except for the rear end portion. The rear end portion of the upper connection plate 133 protrudes rearward from the upper surface 121 of the mounting recess 116. The upper connection plate 133 penetrates the apex of the reinforcing groove 121a in the front-rear direction.

The lower connection plate 134 connects the lower end portions of each of the fixing plate 131 and the handle portion 132, and is fixed to the lower surface 122 of the mounting recess 116. The lower connection plate 134 is buried in the wall portion that forms the lower surface 122 of the mounting recess 116 over the entire length in the front-rear direction except for the rear end portion. The rear end portion of the lower connection plate 134 protrudes rearward from the lower surface 122 of the mounting recess 116. The lower connection plate 134 protrudes rearward from the vertical stepped surface 126, while being separated upward from the horizontal stepped surface 127. The lower connection plate 134 protrudes rearward from the upper end portion of the vertical stepped surface 126. The rear end portion of the lower connection plate 134 is located above the horizontal stepped surface 127, and opposite to the horizontal stepped surface 127 in the vertical direction.

Here, the upper surface 121 of the mounting recess 116 is provided with a pair of first vertical grooves (vertical grooves) 128 that sandwich the upper connection plate 133 in the left-right direction. The first vertical groove 128 reaches the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 114a of the body portion 114 via the upper connecting surface 125. The pair of first vertical grooves 128 extend in a direction in which an interval in the left-right direction widens from the upper surface 121 side of the mounting recess 116 toward the upper end portion 114a side of the body portion 114. The first vertical groove 128 communicates with the upper peripheral groove 117 and the reinforcing groove 121a.

A pair of second vertical grooves 129 that sandwich the pair of first vertical grooves 128 in the left-right direction are provided on the upper surface 121 of the mounting recess 116. The second vertical groove 129 reaches the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 114a of the body portion 114 via the upper connecting surface 125. The pair of second vertical grooves 129 extend in a direction in which an interval in the left-right direction widens from the upper surface 121 side of the mounting recess 116 toward the upper end portion 114a side of the body portion 114. The second vertical groove 129 communicates with the upper peripheral groove 117 and the reinforcing groove 121a. The second vertical groove 129 is opened to the end portion of the reinforcing groove 121a in the circumferential direction. Groove widths of each of the second vertical grooves 129 and the first vertical grooves 128 are equal to each other. When viewed from the rear, inclination angles of each of the second vertical grooves 129 and the first vertical grooves 128 to the central axis O are equal to each other.

A reinforcing rib 125a is formed at a portion of the upper connecting surface 125 of the mounting recess 116 that is adjacent to the upper connection plate 133 of the handle 111 in the vertical direction. The reinforcing rib 125a is a groove extending in the left-right direction. A plurality of reinforcing ribs 125a are formed at intervals in the vertical direction. The reinforcing rib 125a is located above the upper end portion of the handle portion 132 and opposite to the upper end portion in the vertical direction.

The bottle 101 with the handle is formed such that the bottle 110 is formed, and at the same time, the handle 111 is mounted to the mounting recess 116 of the bottle 110, by blow-molding a bottomed cylindrical preform in a cavity into which the handle 111 is inserted. The preform and the handle 111 are formed in advance by injection molding.

The above-mentioned cavity is provided between overlapping surfaces of each of a pair of molding dies that are provided to be able to abut on and separate from each other. The front end portions of each of the pair of molding dies are connected to each other via a rotation axis extending in the vertical direction, and when the pair of molding dies rotate around the rotation axis, the overlapping surfaces of each of the pair of molding dies abut on and separate from each other to open and close the cavity. As a result, a parting line is located at the central portion in the left-right direction of each of the forward-facing portion and the rearward-facing portion of the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 114, and extends in the vertical direction.

As described above, according to the bottle 101 with the handle according to the present embodiment, the lower connection plate 134 of the handle 111 protrudes rearward from the vertical stepped surface 126, while being separated upward from the horizontal stepped surface 127. As a result, when the handle 111 is lifted, even if the lower connection plate 134 is about to be displaced rearward around the upper connection plate 133, the vertical stepped surface 126 exerts a rib effect to support the lower connection plate 134 from the lower part of the lower connection plate 134, and the handle 111 can be made less likely to wobble with respect to the bottle 110.

A pair of first vertical grooves 128 which sandwich the upper connection plate 133 in the left-right direction are provided on the upper surface 121 of the mounting recess 116. This makes it possible to enhance the rigidity of the portion of the upper surface 121 of the mounting recess 116 that is located between the pair of first vertical grooves 128 and fixes the upper connection plate 133, and the handle 111 can be made less likely to wobble with respect to the bottle 110 reliably.

The inner surface of the mounting recess 116 includes an upper connecting surface 125 that extends outward in the radial direction as it goes upward from the outer peripheral edge of the upper surface 121 of the mounting recess 116, and is connected to the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 114a of the body portion 114. As a result, a draw ratio of the upper connecting surface 125 is suppressed to be lower than the draw ratio of the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 114 at the time of blow molding of the bottle 110. Therefore, when the bottle 110 is blow-molded using the handle 111 as an insert, the upper connection plate 133 of the handle 111 is fixed and hard to extend, and it is possible to suppress an occurrence of voids due to overstretching in the upper connecting surface 125 that continues to the upper surface 121 of the mounting recess 116.

In this embodiment, in the upper end portion 114a of the body portion 114, the radius of the rear portion sandwiched between the upper peripheral groove 117 and the mounting recess 116 in the vertical direction is smaller than the radius of the other portions. Therefore, it is possible to suppress an occurrence of void due to overstretching in the rear portion of the upper end portion 114a of the body portion 114.

The reinforcing rib 125a is formed on the upper connecting surface 125 of the mounting recess 116 at a portion adjacent to the upper connection plate 133 of the handle 111 in the vertical direction. As a result, since the rigidity of this portion is enhanced, the upper connecting surface 125 can be made hard to deform when the handle 111 is lifted, and the handle 111 can be reliably made hard to wobble with respect to the bottle 110.

The technical scope of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

For example, the upper surface 121 of the mounting recess 116 may not be provided with the first vertical groove 128, the second vertical groove 129, and the reinforcing groove 121a. The mounting recess 116 may not have the upper connecting surface 125. The reinforcing rib 125a may not be provided on the upper connecting surface 125. The radius of the upper end portion 114a of the body portion 114 may be the same over the entire length in the circumferential direction.

In addition, within the scope that does not depart from the spirit of the present invention, it is possible to appropriately replace the constituent elements in the above-described embodiment with well-known constituent elements, and the above-described embodiment and modified examples may be appropriately combined.

Third Embodiment

A third embodiment according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In this embodiment, a bottle 201 with a handle includes a bottle 210 and a handle 211, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9. An internal volume of the bottle 210 is, for example, 1 liter or more. The bottle 210 has a mouth portion 212, a shoulder portion 213, a body portion 214 and a bottom portion 215, and the mouth portion 212 to the bottom portion 215 are configured continuously in this order with their central axes located on a common axis.

Hereinafter, the common axis is referred to as a central axis O, the mouth portion 212 side along the central axis O is referred to as an upper side, the bottom portion 215 side is referred to as a lower side, and a direction along the central axis O is referred to as a vertical direction. When viewed from the vertical direction, a direction intersecting the central axis O is referred to as a radial direction, and a direction orbiting around the central axis O is referred to as a circumferential direction. In the radial direction, a side on which the handle 211 is provided with respect to the central axis O is referred to as a rear side, and an opposite side of the handle 211 that sandwiches the central axis O in the radial direction is referred to as a front side. A direction orthogonal to a front-rear direction when viewed from the vertical direction is referred to as a left-right direction.

In the shown example, the mouth portion 212, the shoulder portion 213, the body portion 214, and the bottom portion 215 are each formed to have a circular cross-sectional shape orthogonal to the central axis O. The handle 211 is formed in an annular shape that is opened in the left-right direction.

An upper peripheral groove 217 extending continuously over the entire length in the circumferential direction is formed in a connection portion between the shoulder portion 213 and the body portion 214. An upper end portion 214a of the body portion 214 includes a rear portion sandwiched in the vertical direction between the upper peripheral groove 217 and a mounting recess 216, which will be described below. A radius of the rear portion of the upper end portion 214a of the body portion 214 is smaller than the radius of other portions. A lower peripheral groove 218 extending continuously over the entire length in the circumferential direction is formed in the connection portion between the body portion 214 and the bottom portion 215. The lower end portion 214b of the body portion 214 is a portion that continues to the lower peripheral groove 218 from the upper part of the lower peripheral groove 218. The upper end portion 214a and the lower end portion 214b of the body portion 214 are portions having the largest diameter.

The mounting recess 216 that is recessed forward and opened rearward is provided in the body portion 214. The mounting recess 216 is integrally opened rearward and in the left-right direction. The mounting recess 216 is provided in the upper portion of the body portion 214. A central portion of the mounting recess 216 in the left-right direction is located at the central portion in the left-right direction of the portion that faces rearward, in the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 214.

An inner surface of the mounting recess 216 includes an upper surface 221, a lower surface 222, a bottom surface 223, a lower connecting surface 224 and an upper connecting surface 225.

The upper surface 221 faces downward and the lower surface 222 faces upward. The lower surface 222 is located below the upper surface 221 and opposite to the upper surface 221 in the vertical direction. The bottom surface 223 faces rearward, and connects the front end portions of each of the upper surface 221 and the lower surface 222 to each other. The bottom surface 223 has a curved shape that is recessed forward when viewed in a cross-section along the vertical direction and the front-rear direction, and has a curved shape that protrudes rearward when viewed in a cross-section along the radial direction. The lower connecting surface 224 extends downward from the outer peripheral edge of the lower surface 222, and is connected to the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 214. The upper connecting surface 225 extends radially outward as it goes upward from the outer peripheral edge of the upper surface 221, and is connected to the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 214a of the body portion 214.

A reinforcing groove 221a which has a curved shape protruding rearward when viewed from below is formed on the outer peripheral edge portion of the upper surface 221. When viewed from below, the reinforcing groove 221a has a symmetrical shape with respect to a straight line passing through the central portion of the mounting recess 216 in the left-right direction and extending in the radial direction. An apex of the reinforcing groove 221a that protrudes rearward when viewed from below is located at the central portion of the mounting recess 216 in the left-right direction.

The lower connecting surface 224 includes a vertical stepped surface 226 that extends downward from the outer peripheral edge of the lower surface 222 and faces rearward, and a horizontal stepped surface 227 that extends rearward from the lower end portion of the vertical stepped surface 226 and faces upward. The upper end portion of the vertical stepped surface 226 is formed in a curved surface shape that protrudes rearward. The vertical stepped surface 226 and the horizontal stepped surface 227 extend in the left-right direction. The sizes of each of the vertical stepped surface 226 and the horizontal stepped surface 227 in the left-right direction are equal to or more than half the size of the mounting recess 216 in the left-right direction. When viewed from the rear, the vertical stepped surface 226 and the horizontal stepped surface 227 have a symmetrical shape with respect to a straight line passing through the central portion of the mounting recess 216 in the left-right direction and extending in the vertical direction. The size of the vertical stepped surface 226 in the vertical direction is smaller than the size of the horizontal stepped surface 227 in the front-rear direction.

The handle 211 is mounted to the mounting recess 216. The handle 211 is provided at the central portion of the mounting recess 216 in the left-right direction. The handle 211 includes a fixing portion 231, a handle portion 232, an upper connection portion 233, and a lower connection portion 234.

The fixing portion 231 is formed in a rod shape extending in the vertical direction. The fixing portion 231 is curved to protrude forward when viewed from the left-right direction. The fixing portion 231 is fixed to the bottom surface 223 of the mounting recess 216. The front portion of the fixing portion 231 is buried in a wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216 over the entire length in the vertical direction, and the rear portion protrudes rearward from the bottom surface 223 of the mounting recess 216 over the entire length in the vertical direction. In the fixing portion 231, the front portion is formed in a plate shape with front and back surfaces facing in the front-rear direction, and the rear portion protrudes rearward from the central portion of the front portion in the left-right direction, and is formed in a plate shape with front and back surfaces facing in the left-right direction. The rear portion of the fixing portion 231 may also be buried in the wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216 along with the front portion.

The handle portion 232 is provided behind the fixing portion 231. The handle portion 232 is formed in a plate shape having a rectangular shape elongated in the vertical direction when viewed from the front-rear direction. The handle portion 232 extends straight in the vertical direction. The handle portion 232 is located behind the upper surface 221 and the lower surface 222 in the mounting recess 216. A rear surface of the handle portion 232 is located at the same radial position as the portion having the same circumferential position as the handle portion 232 on the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 214a of the body portion 214, and is located on the radially inner side than the portion having the same circumferential position as the handle portion 232 on the outer peripheral surface of the lower end portion 214b of the body portion 214. An upper end portion and a lower end portion of the handle portion 232 each extend forward as they extend outward in the vertical direction. The upper end portion of the handle portion 232 is located below the upper connecting surface 225 of the mounting recess 216, and opposite to the upper connecting surface 225 in the vertical direction.

The upper connection portion 233 connects the upper end portions of each of the fixing portion 231 and the handle portion 232, and is fixed to the upper surface 221 of the mounting recess 216. The upper connection portion 233 is buried in the wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216 over the entire length in the front-rear direction except for the rear end portion. The rear end portion of the upper connection portion 233 protrudes rearward from the upper surface 221 of the mounting recess 216. The upper connection portion 233 penetrates the apex of the reinforcing groove 221a in the front-rear direction.

The lower connection portion 234 connects the lower end portions of each of the fixing portion 231 and the handle portion 232, and is fixed to the lower surface 222 of the mounting recess 216. The lower connection portion 234 is buried in the wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216 over the entire length in the front-rear direction except for the rear end portion. The rear end portion of the lower connection portion 234 protrudes rearward from the lower surface 222 of the mounting recess 216. The lower connection portion 234 protrudes rearward from the vertical stepped surface 226, while being separated upward from the horizontal stepped surface 227. The lower connection portion 234 protrudes rearward from the upper end portion of the vertical stepped surface 226. The rear end portion of the lower connection portion 234 is located above the horizontal stepped surface 227, and opposite to the horizontal stepped surface 227 in the vertical direction.

Here, the upper surface 221 of the mounting recess 216 is provided with a pair of first vertical grooves 228 that sandwich the upper connection portion 233 in the left-right direction. The first vertical groove 228 reaches the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 214a of the body portion 214 via the upper connecting surface 225. The pair of first vertical grooves 228 extend in a direction in which an interval in the left-right direction widens from the upper surface 221 side of the mounting recess 216 toward the upper end portion 214a side of the body portion 214. The first vertical groove 228 communicates with the upper peripheral groove 217 and the reinforcing groove 221a.

A pair of second vertical grooves 229 that sandwich the pair of first vertical grooves 228 in the left-right direction are provided on the upper surface 221 of the mounting recess 216. The second vertical groove 229 reaches the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 214a of the body portion 214 via the upper connecting surface 225. The pair of second vertical grooves 229 extend in a direction in which an interval in the left-right direction widens from the upper surface 221 side of the mounting recess 216 toward the upper end portion 214a side of the body portion 214. The second vertical groove 229 communicates with the upper peripheral groove 217 and the reinforcing groove 221a. The second vertical groove 229 is opened to the end portion of the reinforcing groove 221a in the circumferential direction. Groove widths of each of the second vertical grooves 229 and the first vertical grooves 228 are equal to each other. When viewed from the rear, inclination angles of each of the second vertical grooves 229 and the first vertical grooves 228 to the central axis O are equal to each other.

A reinforcing rib 225a is formed at a portion of the upper connecting surface 225 of the mounting recess 216 that is adjacent to the upper connection portion 233 of the handle 211 in the vertical direction. The reinforcing rib 225a is a groove extending in the left-right direction. A plurality of reinforcing ribs 225a are formed at intervals in the vertical direction. The reinforcing rib 225a is located above the upper end portion of the handle portion 232 and opposite to the upper end portion in the vertical direction.

The bottle 201 with the handle is formed such that the bottle 210 is formed, and at the same time, the handle 211 is mounted to the mounting recess 216 of the bottle 210, by blow-molding a bottomed cylindrical preform in a cavity into which the handle 211 is inserted. The preform and the handle 211 are formed in advance by injection molding.

The above-mentioned cavity is provided between overlapping surfaces of each of a pair of molding dies that are provided to be able to abut on and separate from each other. The front end portions of each of the pair of molding dies are connected to each other via a rotation axis extending in the vertical direction, and when the pair of molding dies rotate around the rotation axis, the overlapping surfaces of each of the pair of molding dies abut on and separate from each other to open and close the cavity. As a result, a parting line is located at the central portion in the left-right direction of each of the forward-facing portion and the rearward-facing portion of the outer peripheral surface of the body portion 214, and extends in the vertical direction.

In this embodiment, the front end portions of each of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234 protrude forward from the fixing portion 231, and are buried in the wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216. A first claw portion 235, a second claw portion 236 and a third claw portion 237 are provided at the front end portions of each of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234.

The first claw portion 235 protrudes upward from the front end portions of each of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234, and is buried in the wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216. The second claw portion 236 protrudes downward from the front end portions of each of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234, and is buried in the wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216. As shown in FIG. 10, the third claw portion 237 protrudes from the front end portions of each of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234 to both sides in the left-right direction, and is buried in the wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216. In addition, the third claw portion 237 may protrude from the front end portions of each of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234 to only one side of the left-right direction.

The first claw portion 235 and the second claw portion 236 are formed in a plate shape having a rectangular shape elongated in the left-right direction when viewed from the front-rear direction. The third claw portion 237 is formed in a plate shape having a rectangular shape elongated in the vertical direction when viewed from the front-rear direction. The front and back surfaces of each of the first claw portion 235, the second claw portion 236, and the third claw portion 237, which face in the front-rear direction, are located on the same plane. The first claw portion 235, the second claw portion 236, and the third claw portion 237 provided at the front end portion of the upper connection portion 233 extend along the front surface of the upper end portion 231a of the fixing portion 231 when viewed from the left-right direction. The first claw portion 235, the second claw portion 236, and the third claw portion 237 provided at the front end portion of the lower connection portion 234 extend along the front surface of the lower end portion 231b of the fixing portion 231 when viewed from the left-right direction.

In the shown example, the upper end portion 231a of the fixing portion 231 extends rearward as it goes upward. The lower end portion 231b of the fixing portion 231 extends rearward as it goes downward. The fixing portion 231 is provided with a pair of fourth claw portions 238 that protrude in the left-right direction and are buried in the wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216. The fourth claw portion 238 is provided at the vertical central portion of the fixing portion 231. The fourth claw portion 238 is formed in a plate shape having a rectangular shape elongated in the vertical direction when viewed from the front-rear direction. The fourth claw portion 238 is located inside the handle portion 232 in the left-right direction when viewed in the front-rear direction. The fourth claw portion 238 may not be provided.

In the upper connection portion 233, the front portion that continues to the front end portion from the rear of the front end portion extends upward as it goes rearward. In the lower connection portion 234, the front portion that continues to the front end portion from the rear of the front end portion extends downward as it goes rearward.

A first opposite wall 241, which is located behind the first claw portion 235, opposite to the first claw portion 235 in the front-rear direction, and buried in the wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216, is provided on the upper surface of the upper connection portion 233. The first opposite wall 241 is formed in a plate shape having a rectangular shape elongated in the left-right direction when viewed from the front-rear direction. The first opposite wall 241 is provided on the upper surface of the front portion of the upper connection portion 233. The first opposite wall 241 may not be provided. A second opposite wall 242, which is located behind the second claw portion 236, opposite to the second claw portion 236 in the front-rear direction, and buried in the wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216, is provided on the lower surface of the lower connection portion 234. The second opposite wall 242 is formed in a plate shape having a rectangular shape elongated in the left-right direction when viewed in the front-rear direction. The second opposite wall 242 is provided on the lower surface of the front portion of the lower connection portion 234. The second opposite wall 242 may not be provided.

The handle 211 is formed in a rotationally symmetrical shape by 2180° with respect to a straight line L that passes through the central portion in the vertical direction and extends in the front-rear direction. The handle 211 has a symmetrical shape with respect to the straight line L that passes through the central portion in the vertical direction and extends in the front-rear direction when viewed from the left-right direction, and has a symmetrical shape with respect to a straight line (central axis O) which passes through the central portion in the left-right direction and extends in the vertical direction when viewed from the front-rear direction.

As described above, according to the bottle 201 with the handle according to the present embodiment, the front end portions of each of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234 protrude forward from the fixing portion 231, and are buried in the wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216. The first claw portion 235, which protrudes upward and is buried in the wall portion W, is formed at each front end portion of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234. As a result, when the handle 211 is lifted, the first claw portion 235 is pressed in a direction of biting upward against the wall portion W, together with the front end portions of each of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234. Thus, when the handle 211 is lifted, it is possible to prevent the handle 211 from wobbling with respect to the bottle 210.

The lower end portion 231b of the fixing portion 231 extends rearward as it goes downward. As a result, when the bottle 210 is blow-molded using the handle 211 as an insert, it becomes easier to reach the lower end portion 231b of the fixing portion 231 in the state of sufficiently stretching the resin material. Furthermore, together with the easy securement of a gap in the front-rear direction between the front surface of the lower end portion 231b of the fixing portion 231 and the rear surface of the first claw portion 235, the resin material can be easily inserted between the front surface of the lower end portion 231b of the fixing portion 231 and the rear surface of the first claw portion 235. As a result, the first claw portion 235 can be easily and deeply buried in the wall portion W that forms the inner surface of the mounting recess 216, and when the handle 211 is lifted, it is possible to reliably suppress the handle 211 from wobbling with respect to the bottle 210.

The fixing portion 231 is curved to protrude forward. This makes it possible to secure a wide space in the front-rear direction between the fixing portion 231 and the handle portion 232, and the handle 211 can be easily gripped.

The first opposite wall 241, which is located behind the first claw portion 235, opposite to the first claw portion 235 in the front-rear direction, and buried in the wall portion W, is provided on the upper surface of the upper connection portion 233. As a result, the wall portion W can be sandwiched between the rear surface of the first claw portion 235 and the front surface of the first opposite wall 241 in the front-rear direction, and when the handle 211 is lifted, it is possible to reliably suppress the handle 211 from wobbling with respect to the bottle 210.

The second claw portion 236 which protrudes downward and is buried in the wall portion W is provided at each front end portion of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234. As a result, when the handle 211 is lifted, even if the handle 211 is about to be displaced with respect to the bottle 210 in a direction in which the lower connection portion 234 is displaced rearward around the upper connection portion 233, the second claw portion 236 is pressed rearward against the wall portion W. As a result, when the handle 211 is lifted, it is possible to reliably suppress the handle 211 from wobbling with respect to the bottle 210.

The second opposite wall 242, which is located behind the second claw portion 236, opposite to the second claw portion 236 in the front-rear direction, and buried in the wall portion W, is provided on the lower surface of the lower connection portion 234. As a result, the wall portion W can be sandwiched between the rear surface of the second claw portion 236 and the front surface of the second opposite wall 242 in the front-rear direction, and when the handle 211 is lifted, it is possible to reliably suppress the handle 211 from wobbling with respect to the bottle 210.

A pair of third claw portions 237 which protrude in the left-right direction and buried in the wall portion W are provided at the front end portions of each of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234. As a result, when the bottle 210 is blow-molded using the handle 211 as an insert, the resin material that has reached the third claw portion 237 is stretched rearward, while being stretched in the left-right direction. Accordingly, the front end portions of each of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234 can be strongly held by the wall portion W in the left-right direction.

The fixing portion 231 is provided with a fourth claw portion 238 that protrudes in the left-right direction and is buried in the wall portion W. As a result, when the bottle 210 is blow-molded using the handle 211 as an insert, the resin material which has reached the fourth claw portion 238 is stretched rearward while being stretched in the left-right direction, and the fixing portion 231 can be strongly held by the wall portion W in the left-right direction.

The handle 211 is formed in a rotationally symmetrical shape of 180° with respect to the straight line L that passes through the central portion in the vertical direction and extends in the front-rear direction. Therefore, when setting the handle 211 in the cavity of the molding die, it is possible to eliminate the need to match the vertical direction of the handle 211.

In this embodiment, in the upper end portion 214a of the body portion 214, the radius of the rear portion sandwiched between the upper peripheral groove 217 and the mounting recess 216 in the vertical direction is smaller than the radius of the other portions. As a result, at the time of the blow molding of the bottle 210, the draw ratio in the rear portion of the upper end portion 214a of the body portion 214 is suppressed to be lower than the draw ratio in other portions. Therefore, when the bottle 210 is blow-molded using the handle 211 as an insert, it is possible to suppress voids due to overstretching from occurring in the rear portion of the upper end portion 214a of the body portion 214 which is located at the same circumferential position as the upper surface 221 of the mounting recess 216 that fixes the upper connection portion 233 of the handle 211 and is difficult to stretch.

The technical scope of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

For example, it is not necessary to provide the second claw portion 236 and the third claw portion 237 at the front end portions of each of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234, respectively. The first claw portion 235, the second claw portion 236, and the third claw portion 237 may be connected around the central axis at the front end portions of each of the upper connection portion 233 and the lower connection portion 234 to form an annular shape. The fixing portion 231 may extend straight in the vertical direction. The mounting recess 216 may not have the lower connecting surface 224 and the upper connecting surface 225. The reinforcing rib 225a may not be provided on the upper connecting surface 225. The first vertical groove 228, the second vertical groove 229, and the reinforcing groove 221a may not be provided on the upper surface 221 of the mounting recess 216. The radius of the upper end portion 214a of the body portion 214 may be the same over the entire length in the circumferential direction.

In addition, within the scope that does not depart from the spirit of the present invention, it is possible to appropriately replace the constituent elements in the above-described embodiment with well-known constituent elements, and the above-described embodiment and modified examples may be appropriately combined.

The technical scope of the present invention is not limited to the first to third embodiments described above, and various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. For example, it is possible to appropriately replace the constituent elements in the first to third embodiments with known components without departing from the scope of the present invention, and the first to third embodiments may be combined as appropriate.

Claims

1. A bottle with a handle comprising:

a bottle in which a mouth portion, a shoulder portion, a body portion, and a bottom portion are configured continuously in this order from top to bottom; and
a handle,
wherein the body portion is provided with a mounting recess which is recessed forward and opened rearward, in a radial direction,
the handle is mounted to the mounting recess,
an upper peripheral groove extending continuously over an entire length in a circumferential direction is formed in a connecting portion between the shoulder portion and the body portion,
a portion of the upper peripheral groove which is located at a same position in the circumferential direction as at least a part of the mounting recess is a shallow groove portion having a groove depth shallower than other portion.

2. The bottle with the handle according to claim 1,

wherein a first stepped portion which faces the circumferential direction is provided at a boundary portion of the upper peripheral groove between the shallow groove portion and the other portion.

3. The bottle with the handle according to claim 2,

wherein a pair of upper and lower second stepped portions which extend from the first stepped portion toward a side of the other portion along the circumferential direction is provided at the boundary portion,
the second stepped portion is provided on each of an upper side surface which is located at an upper end and faces downward, and a lower side surface which is located at a lower end and faces upward, in the inner surface of the upper peripheral groove, and
a protruding amount of the second stepped portion in a vertical direction from the upper side surface and the lower side surface increases toward the shallow groove portion along the circumferential direction.

4. The bottle with the handle according to claim 1,

wherein the shallow groove portion extends in the circumferential direction, and is located at a same position in the circumferential direction as the mounting recess over an entire length in the circumferential direction.

5. The bottle with the handle according to claim 4,

wherein the shallow groove portion is provided over an angle range up to locations which are separated by 15° or more and 75° or less from a central portion of the mounting recess in the circumferential direction to each of both sides in the circumferential direction, around a central axis of the body portion.

6. The bottle with the handle according to claim 1,

wherein a groove depth of the other portion of the upper peripheral groove is 1.2 times or more and 2.0 times or less of a groove depth of the shallow groove portion.

7. The bottle with the handle according to claim 1,

wherein the inner surface of the mounting recess includes an upper surface facing downward, a lower surface facing upward, a bottom surface which faces rearward and connects a front end portion of the upper surface and a front end portion of the lower surface, and a lower connecting surface which extends downward from an outer peripheral edge of the lower surface, and is connected to an outer peripheral surface of the body portion,
wherein the handle includes a fixing plate which is fixed to the bottom surface of the mounting recess and extends in the vertical direction, a handle portion which is provided behind the fixing plate and extends in the vertical direction, an upper connection plate which connects an upper end portion of the fixing plate and an upper end portion of the handle portion, and is fixed to the upper surface of the mounting recess, and a lower connection plate which connects a lower end portion of the fixing plate and a lower end portion of the handle portion, and is fixed to the lower surface of the mounting recess,
wherein the lower connecting surface includes a vertical stepped surface which extends downward from the outer peripheral edge of the lower surface and faces rearward, and a horizontal stepped surface which extends rearward from a lower end portion of the vertical stepped surface and faces upward, and the lower connection plate protrudes rearward from the vertical stepped surface, while being separated upward from the horizontal stepped surface.

8. The bottle with the handle according to claim 7,

wherein a pair of vertical grooves which sandwich the upper connection plate are provided on the upper surface in a left-right direction orthogonal to a front-rear direction when viewed from the vertical direction.

9. The bottle with the handle according to claim 7,

wherein the inner surface of the mounting recess includes an upper connecting surface which extends outward in the radial direction as it goes upward from an outer peripheral edge of the upper surface, and is connected to an outer peripheral surface of the body portion.

10. The bottle with the handle according to claim 9,

wherein a reinforcing rib is formed in a portion of the upper connecting surface that is adjacent to the upper connection plate in the vertical direction.
