DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The invention will be understood from the following detailed description of embodiments of the invention, which are meant to be descriptive and not limiting. For the sake of brevity, some well-known features are not described in detail.

The reference numbers have been used to point out elements in the embodiments described and illustrated herein, in order to facilitate the understanding of the invention. They are meant to be merely illustrative, and not limiting. Also, the foregoing embodiments of the invention have been described and illustrated in conjunction with systems and methods thereof, which are meant to be merely illustrative, and not limiting.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a brick for masonry construction according to one embodiment, and accessories therefor.

A brick 10A according to one embodiment, includes two identical rectangular cuboids 12A and 12B; and a rectangular cuboid 12C fixed between rectangular cuboids 12A and 12B.

FIG. 3 is a front sectional view of the brick of FIG. 2 and another one.

Length 16A of cuboids 12A and of 12B is equal to length 16B of cuboid 12C. Cuboid 12C is shifted aside, thus forming a vertical niche 14C between cuboid 12A and 12C, and a vertical protrusion 14D′.

Referring again to FIG. 2, vertical niche 14C and vertical protrusion 14D′ are disposed parallel to vertical width 26A.

Vertical protrusion 14D′ of brick 10A may be inserted into a vertical female profile 20D; and a vertical male profile 20C may be inserted into vertical niche 14C.

Referring again to FIG. 3, height 16C of cuboids 12A and of 12B is larger than height 16D of cuboid 12C. Cuboid 12C forms a horizontal niche 14A above cuboid 12C between cuboid 12A and 12C, and a horizontal niche 14B below cuboid 12C between cuboid 12A and 12C.

Referring again to FIG. 2, horizontal niche 14A and horizontal niche 14B are disposed parallel to vertical thin facet 26B.

A horizontal male profile 20B may be inserted into bottom horizontal niche 14B of brick 10A.

Referring again to FIG. 3, vertical protrusion 14D′ and vertical niche 14C of brick 10A are shaped complementary, thus for allowing inserting vertical protrusion 14D′ of brick 10A into vertical niche 14C of another brick 10C.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a plurality of brick of FIG. 2 and profiles of FIG. 2 attached thereto.

Horizontal male profile 20B may be fixed to the floor 22A; vertical male profile 20C may be fixed to the wall 22C.

A horizontal male profile 20A may be inserted into top horizontal niche 14A of brick 10A, and into bottom horizontal niche 14B of a brick 10B to be disposed above brick 10A.

Brick 10B is thus fixed to brick 10A by horizontal male profile 20A disposed therebetween and being elongated, thus brick 10B may be laid accurately above brick 10A without any need to horizontally shift one brick in relation to the other.

The construction may be generalized to include identical rectangular cuboids 12A and 12B; and rectangular cuboid 12C fixed between them, and disposing them parallel to one another and not shifted in relation to one another, such that the size of rectangular cuboid 12C and the fixing thereof forms at least one niches 14C and others. Niches 14C and others are parallel to the thin facets 26A and others of cuboids 12A and 12B. Niches 14C and others are disposed between cuboids 12A and 12B.

FIG. 5 is another perspective view of a plurality of brick of FIG. 2 and profiles of FIG. 2 attached thereto.

Vertical female profile 20D may be fixed to wall 22D.

FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the brick of FIG. 2 according to another embodiment.

A brick 10D includes two identical rectangular cuboids 12A and 12B; and rectangular cuboid 12C attached between rectangular cuboids 12A and 12B.

Length 16A of cuboids 12A and of 12B is equal to length 16B of cuboid 12C. Cuboid 12C is shifted aside and above, thus forming vertical niche 14C between cuboid 12A and 12C; a vertical protrusion 14D′; a horizontal top protrusion 14A′; and horizontal bottom protrusion 14B.

FIG. 7 depicts profiles for the brick of FIG. 6.

Horizontal male profile 20B may be inserted into bottom horizontal niche 14B of brick 10B. Vertical protrusion 14D′ of brick 10D may be inserted into a vertical female profile 20D.

FIG. 8 is a perspective view of the brick of FIG. 2 according to another embodiment.

A brick 10E includes two identical rectangular cuboids 12A and 12B; and rectangular cuboid 12C attached between rectangular cuboids 12A and 12B.

Height 16C of cuboids 12A and of 12B of brick 16E is larger than height 16D of cuboid 12C, thus forming horizontal niche 14A above cuboid 12C between cuboid 12A and 12C, and horizontal niche 14B below cuboid 12C between cuboid 12A and 12C.

Length 16A of cuboids 12A and of 12B is larger than length 16B of cuboid 12C, thus forming vertical niche 14C between cuboid 12A and 12C, and a vertical niche 14D between cuboid 12A and 12C.

Thus, in one aspect, the invention is directed to a brick (10A) for masonry construction, including first (12A) and second (12B) identical rectangular cuboids; and a third rectangular cuboid (12C) fixed between the first (12A) and second (12B) rectangular cuboids, wherein the fixing disposes the first (12A) and second (12B) rectangular cuboids parallel to one another, and wherein size of the third rectangular cuboid (12C) and the fixing thereof forms at least one niche (14C) being parallel to at least one thin facet (26A,26B) of the first (12A) rectangular cuboid and being disposed between the first (12A) and second (12B) rectangular cuboids.

The brick (10A) may further include a male profile (20C), for being inserted into the at least one niche (14C), for attaching the brick (10A) to another brick (10C) being equal to the brick (10A).

The size of the third rectangular cuboid (12C) and the fixing thereof may further form at least one protrusion (14D′) being parallel to at least one thin facet (26A,26B) of the first (12A) rectangular cuboid and extending out of the first (12A) and second (12B) rectangular cuboids.

The at least one protrusion (14D′) extending out of the first (12A) and second (12B) rectangular cuboids, may be shaped complementary to the at least one niche (14C).

Height (16C) of the first (12A) and second (12B) cuboids may be larger than height (16D) of the third cuboid (12C), thereby forming a first horizontal niche (14A) above the third cuboid (12C) between the first (12A) and second (12B) cuboids and forming a second horizontal niche (14B) below the third cuboid (12C) between the first (12A) and second (12B) cuboids.

The brick (10A) may further include a first horizontal male profile (20B), for being inserted into the first horizontal niche (14A), and for being inserted to the second horizontal niche (14B) of another brick (10B) being equal to the brick (10A).

The brick (10A) may further include a first horizontal male profile (20B), for being inserted into the second horizontal niche (14B), for attaching the first horizontal male profile (20B) to a floor (22A).

In the figures and/or description herein, the following reference numerals (Reference Signs List) have been mentioned:
