BACKGROUND

The sport of golf is enjoyed by many individuals every day. However, some individuals who enjoy golf may not have the time or the skill to play on an 18-hole golf course. A standard golf game on an 18-hole course can last more than four hours and be very expensive. Purchasing golf clubs and other equipment also can be extremely expensive. Further, elderly individuals or people who have suffered injuries may not be physically able to play on an 18-hole course due to the physical requirements. Even though people may not be able to play standardized golf, many still have a love for the game and seek different alternatives.

Therefore, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a simplified golf game. There also exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf game device that can be played in a smaller space than standard golf. There also exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf game device that allows users with physical limitations to enjoy a golf-like game. Further, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf game device that can be positioned in a user's backyard for convenient and easy set up. There also exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf game device that takes little physical skill to enjoy.

The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises a golf game device. The device is comprised of a bag, a plurality of clubs, at least one ball, at least one tee, at least one playing surface, and at least one flag. The bag is comprised a base, an interior space, at least one pouch, and at least one strap. The clubs are comprised of a handle with a rubber grip, a shaft, and an oversized club head. The playing surfaces are comprised of at least one putting surface, at least one fairway surface, and at least putting hole. The device provides a user with a means to play golf without having to spend large amounts of money on standard golf as well as spending hours at the course.

In this manner, the golf game device of the present invention accomplishes all of the foregoing objectives and provides a novel golf game that allows people to play a simplified game of golf no matter their physical limitations.

SUMMARY

The following presents a simplified summary in order to provide a basic understanding of some aspects of the disclosed innovation. This summary is not an extensive overview, and it is not intended to identify key/critical elements or to delineate the scope thereof. Its sole purpose is to present some general concepts in a simplified form as a prelude to the more detailed description that is presented later.

The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises a golf game device. The device is comprised of a club set, a bag and at least one club removable from the club set. The bag is primarily comprised of a base, an interior space and at least one strap.

The base of the bag allows the bag to stand up vertically, such that the user may retrieve the club they wish to use on a swing. The strap provides the user with a way to transport the bag while using the device, as well as a way to transport the bag to storage.

The device is also comprised of a plurality of clubs. In the preferred embodiment, there are at least one driver, at least one iron, and at least one putter. The clubs are comprised of a club handle, a club shaft, and a club head. The club heads are enlarged in order to decrease the level of difficulty in hitting the ball. The club heads may differ in size and shape depending on the type of club used.

The device is comprised of at least one ball and at least one tee. The ball is enlarged from a normal golf ball in order to further lower the difficulty of hitting the ball. The tee is placed in the ground and then used to set the ball on top of it to elevate the ball off the ground to allow for a better hit.

The device is comprised of at least one playing surface. The playing surface is comprised of at least one putting surface, at least one fairway surface, at least one putting hole, and at least one flag.

The putting hole is larger than the ball to allow the ball to enter into the putting hole. The device is also comprised of at least one flag that is inserted into the putting hole to alert the user of where the putting hole is positioned on the putting surface. The playing surface is also comprised of at least one strap and at least one fastener. This allows the user to roll up the playing surface when they are done using it. When the playing surface is rolled up, the user can place the strap around the playing surface, and then fasten the fastener to secure the rolled up playing surface. This allows a user to be able to transport and store the playing surfaces with minimal effort.

Accordingly, the golf game device of the present invention is particularly advantageous as it provides users with a faster, less difficult alternative to standard golf. It gives users the ability to play a golf game anywhere at any time. In this manner, the golf game device overcomes the limitations of existing golf game devices known in the art.

To the accomplishment of the foregoing and related ends, certain illustrative aspects of the disclosed innovation are described herein in connection with the following description and the annexed drawings. These aspects are indicative, however, of but a few of the various ways in which the principles disclosed herein can be employed and are intended to include all such aspects and their equivalents. Other advantages and novel features will become apparent from the following detailed description when considered in conjunction with the drawings.
