FOLDING CHAIR AND FOLDING METHOD THEREOF

A folding chair is disclosed. When the folding chair is folded, two supporting assemblies are firstly folded and furled, then the first folding is carried out, one supporting assembly is folded relative to a front supporting rod and a rear supporting rod, then the second folding is carried out. The other supporting assembly is folded relative to the front supporting rod and the rear supporting rod, and when the folding chair is normally used, the two first mounting rods are positioned by the first positioning rod. The two second mounting rods are positioned by the second positioning rod. The folding chair can be subjected to a secondary folding, so that the volume of the folding chair is smaller after being folded, and the stability of the folding chair is better during normal use.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The disclosure relates to a folding chair and a folding method thereof.

BACKGROUND

As a portable and foldable chair, folding chair has been widely used in people's daily life. Folding chairs are convenient to carry, space saving, and thus especially suitable for outdoor use.

During the folding of an existing folding chair, a seat and a backrest part are generally folded together first, and then the left part and the right part of the folding chair are folded together. That is to say, the folding chair can be folded only once, so that the volume of the folding chair is large after being folded, and in order to facilitate the folding of the foldable chair, the existing folding chair has poor stability in normal use.

SUMMARY

The technical problem to be solved by the disclosure is to provide a folding chair and a folding method thereof. Wherein the folding chair can be secondary folded, so that the volume of the folding chair is small after being folded, and the folding chair has good stability during normal use.

In order to solve the technical problem, the folding chair provided by the disclosure includes two support assemblies.

Each of the support assemblies includes a front leg, a rear leg, a first mounting rod and a second mounting rod. A first soft cloth as a seat surface is connected between the two first mounting rods, and a second soft cloth as a backrest surface is connected between the two second mounting rods.

The folding chair further includes a front supporting rod and a rear supporting rod. Two ends of the front supporting rod are respectively and rotatably connected with the lower parts of the two front legs in a rotating manner.

Two ends of the rear supporting rod are respectively and rotatably connected with the lower parts of the two rear legs.

The folding chair further includes a first positioning rod and a second positioning rod. Two ends of the first positioning rod are detachably connected with one end of each of the two first mounting rods respectively.

The two ends of the second positioning rod are detachably connected with the upper ends of the two second mounting rods respectively.

Each of the support assemblies is provided with an unfolding state and a folding state. When the two support assemblies are in the unfolding state, the first soft cloth and the second soft cloth are unfolded relatively. When the two supporting assemblies are in a folding state, the first soft cloth and the second soft cloth are folded relatively. The front supporting rod and the rear supporting rod are arranged closed to each other. The rotation axes at the two ends of the front support rod are respectively coincided with the rotation axes at the two ends of the rear support rod.

Preferably, each support assembly further includes a handrail, a first connecting piece and a second connecting piece. The structure of each support assembly is as follows.

The front leg is rotatably connected with the first mounting rod, the rear end of the armrest rod is rotatably connected with the second mounting rod, the lower part of the second mounting rod is rotatably connected respectively with the upper ends of the first connecting piece and the second connecting piece, and the lower end of the first connecting piece is rotatably connected with the rear leg. The lower end of the second connecting piece is rotatably connected with the first mounting rod.

Preferably, the folding chair further includes a third positioning rod. Two ends of the third positioning rod are rotatably connected with the other ends of the two first mounting rods respectively.

Preferably, the two ends of the first positioning rod are respectively spliced with the two first mounting rods, and the two ends of the second positioning rod are respectively spliced with the two second mounting rods.

Preferably, both ends of the first positioning rod are arc-shaped, both ends of the first positioning rod are provided with first splicing parts, and the two first splicing parts are spliced and matched with the front ends of the two first mounting rods respectively.

Both ends of the second positioning rod are arc-shaped and are provided with second splicing parts, and the two second splicing parts are spliced and matched with the front ends of the two second mounting rods respectively.

In order to solve the above technical problem, the present disclosure also provides a folding method for the folding chair, which includes the steps as follows.

The first positioning rod is separated from the two first mounting rods, and the second positioning rod is separated from the two second mounting rods.

The two supporting assemblies are folded, the first soft cloth and the second soft cloth are relatively folded at the moment, the front supporting rod and the rear supporting rod are mutually closed, and rotating axes at two ends of the front supporting rod are respectively superposed with rotating axes at two ends of the rear supporting rod.

One of the support assemblies is folded relative to the front support rod and the rear support rod.

The other support assembly and there are supporting rod are folded.

Compared with the existing folding chair, the disclosure has the following advantages:

When the folding chair of the invention is folded, the two supporting assemblies are folded and furled, then the first folding is carried out, one supporting assembly is folded relative to the front supporting rod and the rear supporting rod, then the second folding is carried out, the other supporting assembly is folded relative to the front supporting rod and the rear supporting rod. The folded folding chair has smaller volume and is convenient to be stored and carry.

Moreover, during the normal use of the folding chair, the two first mounting rods are positioned through the first positioning rods, and the two second mounting rods are positioned through the second positioning rods, so that when the folding chair is folded and used normally, the seat surface and the backrest surface are relatively stable, and the stability of the folding chair in normal use is relatively good.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

The disclosure will be described in further detail below with reference to the drawings and the detailed description of the embodiments.

As shown in FIG. 1, the folding chair of the disclosure includes two support assemblies 100, a front supporting rod 60, a rear supporting rod 70, a first positioning rod 12, a second positioning rod 22, and a third positioning rod 14.

Each support assemblies 100 includes a front leg 30, a rear leg 40, a first mounting rod 11 and a second mounting rod 21. A first soft cloth 13 as a seat surface is connected between the two first mounting rods 11, and a second soft cloth 23 as a backrest surface is connected between the two second mounting rods 21.

Both ends of the front supporting rod 60 are rotatably connected to the lower portions of the two front legs 30, respectively.

Both ends of the rear supporting rod 70 are rotatably connected to the lower portions of the two rear legs 40, respectively.

Two ends of the first positioning rod 12 are detachably connected to one end of each of the two first mounting rods 11.

Two ends of the second positioning rod 22 are detachably connected to the upper ends of the two second mounting rods 21, respectively. The first positioning rod 12 and the second positioning rod 22 are parallel to each other.

Each support assembly 100 is provided with an unfolding state and a folding state. Referring to FIG. 1, when the two support assemblies 100 are both in the unfolding state, the first soft cloth 13 and the second soft cloth 23 are relatively unfolded for sitting. The first soft cloth 13 serves as a seat surface, and the second soft cloth 23 serves as a backrest surface. Referring to FIG. 2, when both support assemblies 100 are folded, the first soft cloth 13 and the second soft cloth 23 are relatively folded (the first soft cloth 13 and the second soft cloth 23 are not shown in the figure), the front supporting rod 60 and the rear supporting rod 70 are close to each other, and the rotation axes of the two ends of the front supporting rod 60 are respectively coincident with the rotation axes of the two ends of the rear supporting rod 70.

Each support assembly 100 further includes a handrail 50, a first connecting piece 80, and a second connecting piece.

The front leg 30 is rotatably connected with the first mounting rod 11. The rear end of the handrail 50 is rotatably connected with the second mounting rod 21, and the lower part of the second mounting rod 21 is rotatably connected respectively with the upper end of the first connecting piece 80 and the upper end of the second connecting piece. The lower end of the first connecting piece 80 is rotatably connected to the rear leg 40. The lower end of the second connecting piece is rotatably connected to the first mounting rod 11, so that the front legs 30, the rear legs 40, the handrail 50, the first mounting rod 11, and the second mounting rod 21 can be folded together by rotating each other when the support assembly 100 is folded.

The structures of the two support assemblies 100 are identical.

Two ends of the third positioning rod 14 are rotatably connected to the other ends of the two first mounting rods 11, respectively. In this way, the two first mounting rods 11 are positioned by the third positioning rod 14, so that the positioning between the two first fixing rods 11 is more stable.

Two ends of the first positioning rod 12 are respectively spliced with the two first mounting rods 11, and two ends of the second positioning rod 22 are respectively spliced with the two second mounting rods 21.

Both ends of the first positioning rod 12 are arc-shaped, and both ends of the first positioning rod 12 are provided with first splicing parts 121, and the two first splicing parts 121 are respectively inserted and matched with the front ends of two first mounting rods 11, so that the connection and disassembly between the first positioning rods 12 and the first mounting rods 11 are more convenient.

Both ends of the second positioning rod 22 are arc-shaped, and both ends of the second positioning rod 22 are provided with second splicing parts 221, and the two second splicing parts 221 are respectively spliced and matched with the front ends of two second mounting rods 21, so that the connection and disassembly between the second positioning rods 22 and the second mounting rods 21 are more convenient.

A folding method of the folding chair is also provided, which includes the steps as follows.

The first positioning rod 12 is separated from the two first mounting rods 11, and the second positioning rod 22 is separated from the two second mounting rods 21.

Referring to FIG. 2, when the two support assemblies 100 are folded, the first soft cloth 13 and the second soft cloth 14 are relatively folded. The front legs 30, the rear legs 40, the handrail 50, the first mounting rod 11 and the second mounting rod 21 in the support assemblies 100 are folded together by mutual rotation. The front supporting rod 60, the rear supporting rod 70 and the third positioning rod 14 are close to each other. The rotation axes at the two ends of the front supporting rod 60, the rotation axes at the two ends of the rear supporting rod 70, and the rotation axes of the third positioning rod 14 coincide with each other, so that the two folded support assemblies 100 can rotate relative to the front supporting rod 60 and the rear supporting rod 70.

Referring to FIG. 3, one of the support assemblies 100 is folded with respect to the front supporting rod 60 and the rear supporting rod 70.

Referring to FIG. 4, the other support assembly 100 is folded with respect to the front supporting rod 60 and the rear supporting rod 70.

The above description is only for preferred examples of the embodiments of the disclosure, but it is not to be construed as a limiting to the claims, and the structure of the disclosure can have other modifications and is not limited to the above structure. In any case, any variations within the scope of the claims of the disclosure shall fall within the scope of the invention.

Claims

1. A folding chair comprising:

two support assemblies; each support assembly comprises a front leg, a rear leg, a first mounting rod and a second mounting rod; a first soft cloth as a seat surface is connected between the two first mounting rods; a second soft cloth as the backrest surface is connected between the two second mounting rods;
a front supporting rod; both ends of the front supporting rod are rotatably connected with the lower parts of the two front legs respectively;
a rear supporting rod; both ends of the rear supporting rod are rotatably connected with the lower parts of the two rear legs respectively;
two ends of the first positioning rod are detachably connected with one end of the two first mounting rods respectively;
two ends of the second positioning rod are detachably connected with the upper ends of the two second mounting rods respectively;
each support assembly has an unfolding state and a folding state; when the two support assemblies are both in the unfolding state, the first soft cloth and the second soft cloth are relatively unfolded; when the two support assemblies are in a folding state, the first soft cloth and the second soft cloth are relatively folded, and the front support rod and the rear support rod are mutually closed; the rotation axes at the two ends of the front support rod are respectively coincident with the rotation axes at the two ends of the rear support rod.

2. The folding chair of claim 1, wherein each support assembly further comprises a handrail, a first connecting piece and a second connecting piece;

the front leg, the rear leg and the handrail are mutually and rotatably connected; the front leg is rotatably connected with the first mounting rod; the rear end of the handrail is rotatably connected with the second mounting rod; the lower part of the second mounting rod is rotatably connected with the upper end of the first connecting piece and the upper end of the second connecting piece respectively; the lower end of the first connecting piece is rotatably connected with the rear leg; the lower end of the second connecting piece is rotatably connected with the first mounting rod.

3. The folding chair of claim 1, wherein the folding chair further comprises a third positioning rod; and two ends of the third positioning rod are rotatably connected with the other ends of the two first mounting rods respectively.

4. The folding chair of claim 1, wherein both ends of the first positioning rod are respectively spliced with the two first mounting rods, and both ends of the second positioning rod are respectively spliced with the two second mounting rods.

5. The folding chair of claim 4, wherein both ends of the first positioning rod are arc-shaped; both ends of the first positioning rod are provided with first splicing parts and the two first splicing parts are respectively spliced and matched with the front ends of the two first mounting rods;

both ends of the second positioning rod are arc-shaped, both ends of the second positioning rod are provided with second splicing parts; and the two second splicing parts are spliced and matched with the front ends of two second mounting rods respectively.

6. A folding method for the folding chair of claim 1, comprising:

separating the first positioning rod from the two first mounting rods, and separating the second positioning rod from the two second mounting rods;
folding the two support assemblies; the first soft cloth and the second soft cloth are relatively folded; the front support rod and the rear support rod are mutually closed, and the rotation axes of the two ends of the front support rod are respectively superposed with the rotation axes of the two ends of the rear support rods;
folding one of the support assemblies relative to the front supporting rod and the rear supporting rod; and
folding the other support assembly relative to the front supporting rod and the rear supporting rod.
