DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 4 thereof, a new shoulder bag device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 4, the shoulder bag assembly 10 generally comprises a shoulder bag 12 that is comprised of a plurality of panels 14 that is each strategically attached together to form the shoulder bag 12. The shoulder bag 12 has a plurality of storage compartments 16 that is each integrated into a respective one of the panels 14 store objects carried by a user. Each of the panels 14 comprises a respective portion of a pair of denim jeans, and each of the respective portions includes a respective pocket 18 of the pair of denim jeans. Moreover, the respective pocket 18 on each of the respective portions defines a respective one of the storage compartments 16 of the shoulder bag 12.

The plurality of panels 14 includes a front panel 20, a back panel 22 and a perimeter panel 24 extending between the front panel 20 and the back panel 22. The perimeter panel 24 has a first cut 26 extending into an interior of the shoulder bag 12 to define an entry 28 of the shoulder bag 12 for accessing the interior of the shoulder bag 12, and the back panel 22 has a second cut 30 extending into the interior of the shoulder bag 12. A pair of couplings 32 is each coupled to the perimeter panel 24, and each of the couplings 32 is positioned on opposite ends of the first cut 26 from each other. Each of the couplings 32 may comprise a strap 34 coupled to the perimeter panel 24 and a ring 36 integrated into the strap 34. The perimeter panel 24 has a first lateral side 31, a second lateral side 33, a top side 35 and a bottom side 37. The first lateral side 31 is flattened between the top side 35 and the bottom side 37, and the second lateral side 33 curves outwardly between the top side 35 and the bottom side 37. Furthermore, the top side 35 has a width that is less than the width of the bottom side 37, and the first cut 26 is positioned on the first lateral side 31.

An inner pocket 38 has a perimeter edge 40 is coupled to an inside surface 42 of the back panel 22. The perimeter edge 40 surrounds the second cut 30 such that the second cut 30 defines an entry 44 into the inner pocket 38. A first closure 46 is movably coupled to a bounding edge 48 of the first cut 26 for opening and closing the first cut 26. A second closure 50 is movably coupled to a bounding edge 51 of the second cut 30 for opening and closing the second cut 30. Each of the first closure 46 and the second closure 50 may comprise a zipper or other type of mechanical closure.

A shoulder strap 52 is provided and the shoulder strap 52 is coupled to the shoulder bag 12 for wearing over a user's shoulder. The shoulder strap 52 has a first end 54 and a second end 56, and each of the first end 54 and the second end 56 is coupled to a respective one of the couplings 32 on the perimeter panel 24 of the shoulder bag 12. The shoulder strap 52 comprises a first portion 58 which slidably engages a second portion 60 such that the shoulder strap 52 has an adjustable length.

In use, a variety of objects are stored in the interior of the shoulder bag 12 and in the inner pocket 38. Additionally, a variety of objects can be stored in each of the storage compartments 16. The respective portions of the pair of denim jeans of which the shoulder bag 12 is constructed enhances the ornamental appeal of the shoulder bag 12. Additionally, the shoulder strap 52 is employed for carrying the shoulder bag 12.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
