Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a face mask, and in particular to a face mask with an aromatic function.

2. Description of the Related Art

Wearing face masks outdoors has become a frequent occurrence for the public along with the Covid-19 pandemic. However, with wearing of a face mask for over an extended period of time, smells from the nasal cavity or the oral cavity due to breathing can be accumulated at the face mask, and may become unbearable odors over an extended period of time. As a result, while a face mask is still capable of providing protection, some users may replace the face mask because of the unpleasant odors, leading to reduced usage time of the face mask and producing more wastes.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

With dedicated research and development, the applicant has proposed a face mask that provides a user wearing the face mask with a sense of aroma and reduces unpleasant odors produced by wearing the face mask for over an extended period of time, thereby prolonging the usage time of the face mask and reducing wastes produced.

A face mask provided by the present invention includes a mask body and an aromatic portion. The mask body has an inner side and an outer side opposite to each other. The aromatic portion is arranged on the inner side of the mask body and contains an aromatic substance, and the aromatic portion is located at a position with air ventilation once being worn by a user.

In one embodiment, when the mask body is worn by the user, the aromatic portion is arranged relative to a philtrum of the user.

In one embodiment, the mask body has an upper side and a lower side. A ratio of a first distance between the aromatic portion and the upper side to a distance between the upper side and the lower side is 1/3.

In one embodiment, the mask body has a left side and a right side, and the aromatic portion is located at right in the middle of the left side and the right side.

In one embodiment, the face mask further includes two straps, which are respectively connected to the left side and the right side of the mask body.

In one embodiment, the face mask is a disposable face mask.

Thus, with the aromatic portion provided, the face mask of the present invention can provide the user wearing the face mask with a sense of aroma and reduce unpleasant odors produced by wearing of the face mask over an extended period of time, further prolonging the usage time of the face mask and reducing wastes produced.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a side schematic diagram of an inner side and an outer side of a face mask according to a specific embodiment of the present invention.

FIG. 2 is a perspective schematic diagram of a face mask according to a specific embodiment of the present invention worn by a user.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

To facilitate understanding of the object, characteristics and effects of this present disclosure, embodiments together with the attached drawings for the detailed description of the present disclosure are provided.

Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the present invention provides a face mask 100 including a mask body 101 and an aromatic portion 102. The mask body 101 has an inner side 103 and an outer side 104 that are opposite to each other. The aromatic portion 102 is arranged on the inner side 103 of the mask body 101 and contains an aromatic substrate P. The aromatic portion 102 is located at a position with air ventilation once the mask body 101 is worn by a user 2. The face mask 100 is a disposable face mask, for example, a medical face mask.

As described above, with the aromatic portion 102 provided, the face mask 100 of the present invention can provide the user 2 wearing the face mask 100 with a sense of aroma and reduce unpleasant odors produced by wearing of the face mask 100 for an extended period of time, further prolonging the usage time of the face mask 100 and reducing wastes produced.

As shown in FIG. 2, in one embodiment, when the face mask 100 is worn by the user 2, the aromatic portion 102 can be arranged relative to a philtrum 20 of the user 2. When the user 2 wearing the face mask 100 starts breathing, the airflow generated by the breathing passes through the aromatic portion 102, causing the aromatic portion 102 to release an aroma of the aromatic substance P. The aromatic substance P may be in various types so as to emit various types of aromatic smells, for example, aromatic smells of flowers, sandalwood or peppermint.

As shown in FIG. 1, in one embodiment, the mask body 101 has an upper side 101a and a lower side 101b. A first distance L1 between the aromatic portion 102 and the upper side 101a is less than a second distance L2 between the aromatic portion 102 and the lower side 101b. A ratio of the first distance L1 to a distance between the upper side 101a and the lower side 101b may be 1/3. From an angle of facing the inner side 103, the mask body 101 has a left side 101c and a right side 101d, and the aromatic portion 102 can be located right in the middle of the left side 101c and the right side 101d. Thus, when the user 2 in FIG. 2 wears the face mask 100, the aromatic portion 102 can be arranged relative to the philtrum 20. The face mask 100 further includes two straps 105. The two straps 105 are respectively connected to the left side 101c and the right side 101d of the mask body 101, and are for hooking at ears of the user 2 in FIG. 2. The aromatic portion 102 can be made of a non-woven fabric and contains the aromatic substrate P by means of, for example, dipping or soaking. During the manufacturing process of the face mask 100, the aromatic portion 102 can be together disposed on the mask body 101.

While the invention has been described by way of example and in terms of the preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that these embodiments are for merely describing the present invention and are not to be construed as limitations to the present invention. It should be noted that, equivalent modifications, replacements and substitutions made to the embodiments are to be encompassed within the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of protection of the present invention is to be accorded with broadest interpretation of the appended claims.
