In one embodiment, the tip is not in a vapor communication with the liquid in the closed position. The housing can be cylindrical. The tip can further comprise a handle for opening the tip from the closed position. The handle can be in form of a tab. The tab can be perpendicular to the opening of the tip. The tip can be positioned on a circular cap that sits on a top of the housing. The tip can be pivotally attached to the cap. The tip can pivot between an open and a closed position. The tip can sit in a cavity on top of the cap in a closed position. The cavity can covers the tip on all sides.

Provided is an electronic vaporizer comprising: a housing; a first cap one an end of the housing, a tip with an opening placed on the first cap, the tip configured to be in an open and a closed position; a liquid in vapor communication with the tip when the tip is in the open position; a heating element for heating the liquid; a battery for providing electricity to the heating element; and a second cap placed on a bottom of the housing; wherein a user can use the vaporizer when the tip is in an open configuration and close the tip when the user is not using the vaporizer.

Provided is an electronic vaporizer comprising: a housing; a first cap one an end of the housing, the first cap having a cavity, a tip with an opening placed on the first cap, the tip pivotally attached to the cap, the tip configured to be in an open and a closed position, and resting in the cavity in the closed position, the tip further having a tab for moving the tip to an open position; a liquid in fluid communication with the tip when the tip is in the open position; a heating element for heating the liquid; a battery for providing electricity to the heating element; and a second cap placed on a bottom of the housing; wherein a user can use the vaporizer when the tip is in an open configuration and close the tip when the user is not using the vaporizer.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Provided is an electronic vaporizer with a pivoting tip 1. The electronic vaporizer can have a rechargeable battery 20, a microprocessor, a member to hold a liquid 15, a heating element 24. The heating element 24, with the power provided from the battery 20, can vaporize the liquid.

One end of the electronic cigarette can have a pivoting tip 1. The tip 1 can have an opening 2 for passage of air/vapors from the mouth of a user to the inside of housing 22 of the vaporizer. The tip 1 can have a perpendicularly placed tab 5 for allowing a user open and stow the tip 1. The top of the housing 22 can have an opening 2 that is in air/vapor communication with the tip 1 when the tip 1 is an in an open position. The tip 1, when in a closed/stowed position, can seal passage of air. Stowing the tip 1 allows the tip 1 to stay clean and contains the vapors inside. If a switch is used, an automatic switch can be used that is turned on and off depending on the position of the tip 1. A manual switch can also be used. As illustrated, the vaporizer lacks a switch.

The top of the housing 22 can have a cavity 3 in which the tip 1 is placed in a stowed position. In a stowed position, the tip 1 can be substantially perpendicular to the body. The cavity 3 where the tip 1 is placed can be covered on all sides, so not to provide access to the tip 1. The position of the tip 1 can be changed by pressing on a tab 5. The tab 5 can be perpendicular to the opening of the tip 1.

The opening of the tip 1 can be flat shaped and rectangular. The corners of the rectangular opening can be round.

The vaporizer can have a housing 22, which can be a cylinder. The pivoting tip 1, which has a circular base, is placed on the top of the housing 22. Below the tip 1 a sealer 12 and a sealer cap 11 can be placed. The sealer 12 has an opening 13 through which vapor passes. The vaporizer keeps a liquid that can have nicotine and/or flavor and/or other substances. Flavors can include mango, orange, guava, sour apple, and mint. The liquid can be kept in foam 15. Foam 15 can be placed inside of cylinder 17. Foam 15 can have an opening 14 for placement of a heating element 24 and for movement of vapors to outside of the foam 15. A cartridge can also be used to store the liquid.

The heating element 24 is placed inside of opening 14. The heating element 24 can be a tubular metal structure. The heating element 24 vaporizes the fluid inside of the foam 15.

Wired sealant 18 is placed in between the liquid and the rechargeable battery 20. A wire 23 from the battery 20 goes through the opening 19 of the wired sealant 18 and attaches directly to the heating element 24. The power from the battery 20 makes the heating element 16 hot, which in turn vaporizes the liquid. Battery 20 can be a rechargeable lithium battery.

An additional wire can go from the battery 20 to the bottom cap 21. The bottom cap 21 can have a port for recharging the battery and/or communicating data.

As used herein, the term vapor communication is similar to fluid communication, and means that the vapor generated by the heating element has a pathway to leave the housing and be inhaled by a user through the tip 1.
