A set of dishware (the “set”) includes a bowl, a plate, a half-container, and two quarter-containers. The set may be in a stacked-configuration or an unstacked-configuration. The stacked-configuration facilitates easy transportation of the entire set as a single assembly making the set desirable for use by commuters. While in the stacked-configuration, there is a watertight seal between the bowl and the plate by use of a plate-skirt, most of the plate resides within the bowl, the half-container and the two quarter-containers reside on top of the plate, an overall-lid is on top of the half-container and the two quarter-containers, a removable elastic-band wraps around the overall-lid and the bowl to help maintain the stacked-configuration, and the plate along with the plate-skirt help to thermally insulate the bowl from the half-container and from the two quarter-containers. The quarter-containers are sealable by quarter-lids.

PRIORITY NOTICE

The present application claims priority under 35 U.S.C. § 119(e) to U.S. Provisional Patent Application Ser. No. 63/356,692 filed on Jun. 29, 2022, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.

The present patent application is a continuation-in-part (CIP) of U.S. non-provisional design patent application Ser. No. 29/852,901 filed on Sep. 9, 2022, and claims priority to said U.S. non-provisional patent application under 35 U.S.C. § 120. The above-identified patent application is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety as if fully set forth below.

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates in general to dishware and more specifically to sets of dishware that may be configured to transport a given set of dishware as one single unit.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Lunch boxes, lunch bags, and bento boxes have been used for many decades to bring food from one location (e.g., home) to another location (e.g., work, school, or other). However, many such prior art lunch boxes, lunch bags, and/or bento boxes exhibit one or more problems, such as, but not limited to: having no included means to carry wet foods (e.g., a soup) and dry foods (e.g., crackers and/or a sandwich) simultaneously and without mixing; having no included means to carry warmer foods and cooler foods simultaneously and without minimizing thermal mixing; not including watertight teals; not being made of heat sink material(s) of construction, such as, but not limited to, ceramic(s); having no included means to carry condiments, dressings, and/or sauces separately from other food articles that might use such condiments, dressings, and/or sauces at a time of eating; having included means to carry a salad dressing separately from a dry salad, while also carrying the dry salad (separately), such that the salad is not wilted and/or overly saturated with the salad dressing when the time to eat arrives; not being easily mobile and/or transported, particularly as a single unit/assembly; having and/or releasing undesirable chemicals, such as, but not limited to, bisphenol A (BPA); not being dishwasher safe; not being microwave safe; being too heavy; not being compact; being too bulky and/or cumbersome; being difficult to clean and/or sanitize; being difficult to manufacture; being difficult to use; being prone to breaking and/or defects; being to expensive; portions thereof; combinations thereof; and/or the like. Users of some of these prior art lunch boxes, lunch bags, and/or bento boxes have tried to solve some of these problems by adding in separate containers; however, often such separate containers were not intended to be used with the given prior art lunch box, lunch bag, and/or bento box, which can lead to unintended consequences; and/or it would be desirable if given had an already included and intended means for addressing such problems.

There is a need in the art for a set of dishware that may solve, fix, address, deal with, mitigate, and/or reduce one or more of these above noted problems. There is a need in the art for the set of dishware that may at least comprise: a bowl, a plate, a half-container, a quarter-container, a quarter-container lid, and an overall-lid; wherein this set of dishware may exist in a stacked configuration for easy transport of the entire set of dishware as a single compact unit/assembly; wherein this set of dishware may also exist in an unstacked configuration (for filling the containers with food, for heating and/or cooling, for eating, for removing food, and/or for cleaning/sanitizing); wherein a removable watertight seal may be formed between the bowl and the plate; wherein the bowl is made from a heat sink material, such as, but not limited to, a ceramic; wherein the bowl is thermally insulated/isolated from the half-container and/or from the quarter-container by use of the plate and/or a skirt; and/or wherein the set of dishware is BPA free, dishwasher safe, and/or microwave safe.

It is to these ends that the present invention has been developed.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

To minimize the limitations in the prior art, and to minimize other limitations that will be apparent upon reading and understanding the present specification, embodiments of the present invention describe a set of dishware. In some embodiments, this set of dishware (the “set”) may at least comprise a bowl, a plate, a half-container, and two (2) quarter-containers. In some embodiments, the set may be in a stacked-configuration or an unstacked-configuration. In some embodiments, the stacked-configuration facilitates easy transportation of the entire set as a single compact assembly making the set desirable for use by commuters. In some embodiments, while in the stacked-configuration, there may be a watertight seal between the bowl and the plate (by use of a plate-skirt), most of the plate may reside within the bowl, the half-container and the two quarter-containers may reside on top of the plate, an over-all-lid may be on top of the half-container and on top of the two quarter-containers, a removable elastic-band may wrap around the overall-lid and the bowl to help maintain the stacked-configuration, and the plate (along with the plate-skirt) may help to thermally insulate the bowl from the half-container and from the two (2) quarter-containers. In some embodiments, each quarter-container may be sealable by a quarter-lid.

It is an objective of the present invention to provide a set of dishware.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that at least includes a bowl, a plate, a half-container, and two (2) quarter-containers.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware where the bowl is at least mostly made from at least one ceramic.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that may exist in a stacked-configuration or an unstacked-configuration.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that may exist in the stacked-configuration such that the stacked-configuration promotes ease of transporting the entire set of dishware as a single compact assembly.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that when in the stacked-configuration the bowl and the plate have a watertight seal between them.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that is easy to transition between the stacked-configuration and the unstacked-configuration.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that easily maintains the stacked-configuration (by use of an elastic-band and/or threaded connections).

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that is dishwasher safe and/or microwave safe.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that is BPA (bisphenol A) free (without BPA).

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that may simultaneously (separately) house dry food and wet food in a manner that maintains such differences.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that may simultaneously (separately) house warm food and cool food in a manner the promotes such a thermal/temperature difference.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that is easy to manufacture.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that is easy to assemble.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that is easy to ship.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that is easy to use (by consumers).

It is yet another objective of the present invention to provide the set of dishware that is easy to clean and/or wash.

These and other advantages and features of the present invention are described herein with specificity so as to make the present invention understandable to one of ordinary skill in the art, both with respect to how to practice the present invention and how to make the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In the following discussion that addresses a number of embodiments and applications of the present invention, reference is made to the accompanying drawings that form a part thereof, where depictions are made, by way of illustration, of specific embodiments in which the invention may be practiced. It is to be understood that other embodiments may be utilized and changes may be made without departing from the scope of the invention.

FIG. 1 is an exploded top perspective view of a set of dishware 100. In some embodiments, set of dishware 100 may comprise at least seven different types of parts, namely: an elastic-band 101, an overall-lid 103, a quarter-lid 105, a quarter-container 107, a half-container 109, a plate 111, and a bowl 115. In some embodiments, set of dishware 100 may be configured to be arranged into two different configurations, a stacked-configuration 200 (see e.g., FIG. 2A) and an unstacked-configuration (see e.g., FIG. 1). In some embodiments, when set of dishware 100 is in stacked-configuration 200, then a majority of plate 111 resides within bowl 115, quarter-container 107 and half-container 109 reside on top of plate 111, quarter-lid 105 seals quarter-container 107, overall-lid 103 is on top of quarter-lid 105 and half-container 109, and elastic-band 101 wraps around both overall-lid 101 and the bowl 115, removably pressing overall-lid 103 and bowl 115 towards each other (which helps to maintain stacked-configuration 200). See e.g., FIG. 2A through FIG. 2C regarding stacked-configuration 200. Continuing discussing FIG. 1, in the unstacked-configuration the at least seven different types of parts may not be (physically) touching each other.

Continuing discussing FIG. 1, in some embodiments, set of dishware may comprise: one (1) elastic-band 101, one (1) overall-lid 103, two (2) smaller-lids (quarter-lids) 105, two (2) quarter-containers 107, one (1) half-container 109, one (1) tray (plate) 111, one (1) skirt-for-tray 113, one (1) bowl 115, and (1) cover-for-bowl 117. In some embodiments, elastic-band 101 may be a topmost component shown in FIG. 1. Continuing discussing FIG. 1, in some embodiments, a majority of an exterior of bowl 115 may be configured to fit and nest within an interior portion of cover-for-bowl 117. In some embodiments, a majority of an exterior of bowl 115 may be removably frictionally attached to an interior portion of cover-for-bowl 117. In some embodiments, bowl 115 and cover-for-bowl 117 may together form one functional subassembly unit, configured to function as a bowl with a protective outer covering.

Continuing discussing FIG. 1, in some embodiments, an inside diameter of skirt-for-tray 113 may be configured to removably and frictionally attach to an exterior diameter of tray 111 (plate 111). In some embodiments, tray 111 (plate 111) and skirt-for-tray 113 may together form one functional subassembly unit, configured to function as a tray (or a plate) with an outer annular gasket in the skirt-for-tray 113, wherein this subassembly may removably fit into and nest within an upper portion of an inside diameter of bowl 115, with an outside edge of skirt-for-tray 113 providing a watertight seal against an interior/inside surface of bowl 115.

Continuing discussing FIG. 1, in some embodiments, half-container 109 may be configured to removably fit into and nest within half of the upper and inside portions of tray 111 (plate 111); and the other half of the upper and inside portions of tray 111 (plate 111) may be configured to removably receive and nest the two (2) quarter-containers 107.

Continuing discussing FIG. 1, in some embodiments, one (1) smaller-lid 105 (quarter-lid 105) may be configured to removably attach to and/or removably fit onto a top of one (1) quarter-container 107. In some embodiments, one (1) smaller-lid 105 (quarter-lid 105) may be configured to removably attach to and/or removably seal the top of one (1) quarter-container 107. In some embodiments, smaller-lid 105 (quarter-lid 105) may be smaller than overall-lid 103. In some embodiments, smaller-lid 105 (quarter-lid 105) may be about one quarter the size of overall-lid 103.

Continuing discussing FIG. 1, in some embodiments, overall-lid 103 may be configured to function as a lid to bowl 115. In some embodiments, 103 may also function as a lid to half-container 109, when set of dishware 100 may be in a stacked-configuration 200 (see e.g., FIG. 2A for stacked-configuration 200).

Continuing discussing FIG. 1, in some embodiments, when set of dishware 100 may be in stacked-configuration 200, at least some of the other components/parts of set of dishware 100 (such as, but not limited to, quarter-container 107, half-container 109, tray 111, skirt-for-tray 113, bowl 115, and/or cover-for-bowl 117) may be located entirely to mostly below/beneath overall-lid 103. In some embodiments, overall-lid 103 may be larger than smaller-lid 105 (quarter-lid 105).

FIG. 2A is a perspective view of set of dishware 100 but shown in a stacked-configuration 200 (also known as a transport-configuration 200). In some embodiments, in the stacked-configuration the parts/components of set of dishware 100 as shown in FIG. 1 are simply collapsed/stacked together in the same order as shown in FIG. 1, except that elastic-band 101 in the stacked-configuration 200 will wrap entirely around a union between overall-lid 103 and cover-for-bowl 117 and then all the other remaining parts/components of set of dishware 100 are then located within this union. In some embodiments, in the stacked-configuration 200, inside (threads) 1405 of overall-lid 103 may be removably threaded to complementary (outside) threads 4109 of cover-for-bowl 117, such that overall-lid 103 is removably attached to cover-for-bowl 117, i.e., overall-lid 103 and cover-for-bowl 117 form a (removable) union; and elastic-band 101 may wrap around this union to reinforce and help to maintain this union during the stacked-configuration 200; and within this union are the other remaining parts/components of set of dishware 100. In some embodiments, stacked-configuration 200 may be known as transport-configuration 200, because when set of dishware 100 is in transport-configuration 200, then all of the parts/components set of dishware 100 are all movable as a single assembly/set/kit/system. In some embodiments, transport-configuration 200 may be used to transport all of set of dishware 100 to and from various locations, such as, but limited to, from home to work, from home to school, from home to some other destination and then back again to home. Thus, transport-configuration 200 may also be known as a commuter-configuration 200 and/or mobile-configuration 200. In some embodiments, to form stacked-configuration 200, the component parts of set of dishware 100 may be stacked in the order indicated by FIG. 1, with overall-lid 103 then being screwed onto cover-for-bowl 117, and then finally elastic-band 101 may be slid over that union, with top portions of elastic-band being retained within a top channel 1202 of overall-lid 103. In some embodiments, to undo stacked-configuration 200, elastic-band 101 may be removed (slid off), overall-lid 103 may be unscrewed from cover-for-bowl 103, and component parts of set of dishware 100 may be unstacked as desired. FIG. 1 shows a fully unstacked configuration (unstacked-configuration) of set of dishware 100.

FIG. 2A also shows two perpendicular sectional lines of sectional line 2B-2B and that of sectional line 2C-2C. Sectional line 2B-2B yields FIG. 2B. Sectional line 2C-2C yields FIG. 2C.

FIG. 2B is a perspective cross-sectional view of set of dishware 100 still shown in the stacked-configuration 200 (of FIG. 2A) showing internal stacking organization of at least some of the components/parts of set of dishware 100. FIG. 2B is the perspective cross-sectional view of set of dishware 100 resulting from sectional line 2B-2B (shown in FIG. 2A). FIG. 2B shows one of the two quarter-containers 107, such that quarter-containers 107 are side by side with the one half-container 109, wherein the two quarter-containers 107 and the one half-container 109 all share a same horizontal plane and all located immediately above the supporting plate 111, such that this plate 111 directly physically supports the immediately above located two quarter-containers 107 and the one half-container 109. Note, the one half-container 109 shown in FIG. 2B is bisected by the vertical cross-section plane. FIG. 2B shows the quarter-container 107 with its similarly shaped quarter-lid 105 removably attached; and FIG. 2B shows that the half-container 109 does not have a separate/distinct lid of a similar shape as does the quarter-container 107—quarter-lid 105 combination; rather, the half-container 109 uses the overall-lid 103 as its lid, but the overall-lid 103 does not make a water-tight seal with the half-container 109; i.e., the overall-lid 103 does not physically touch half-container 109 when the stacked-configuration 200 is in the vertical orientation show in FIG. 2A through FIG. 2C. Also shown in FIG. 2B, is removable mating between inside (threads) 1405 of overall-lid 103 and (outside) threads 4109 of cover-for-bowl 117. Also shown in FIG. 2B, is the flanges 3505/3507/3509 of skirt 113 pressing up against an inside surface 3905 of bowl 115, to make a watertight seal there. Also shown in FIG. 2B, is a top portion 701 of elastic-band 101 residing within channel 1201 of overall-lid 103.

In some embodiments, when set of dishware 100 is in stacked-configuration 200, quarter-container 107 and half-container 109 are arranged side by side, such that a bottom 2107 of quarter-container 107 and a bottom 2705 of half-container 109 reside on a common plane. In some embodiments, the common plane is a top surface (top-of-bottom 3301) of a bottom 3205 of plate 111. See e.g., FIG. 2B.

FIG. 2C is yet another perspective cross-sectional view of set of dishware 100 shown in stacked-configuration 200 (of FIG. 2A) showing internal stacking organization of at least some of the components/parts of set of dishware 100. FIG. 2C is the perspective cross-sectional view of set of dishware 100 resulting from sectional line 2C-2C (shown in FIG. 2A). Note the vertical cross-section plane (sectional line 2C-2C) used in FIG. 2C is at least substantially (mostly) perpendicular to the vertical cross-section plane (sectional line 2B-2B) used in FIG. 2B, such that the vertical cross-section plane (sectional line 2C-2C) used in FIG. 2C separates the two side by side quarter-containers 107 from the also side by side half-container 109, such that the half-container 109 is not visible in FIG. 2C but is partially visible in FIG. 2B.

In some embodiments, when set of dishware 100 is in stacked-configuration 200, a portion of the overall-lid 103 may cover over a top of half-container 109 but overall-lid 103 does not physically touch half-container 109, when set of dishware 100 is resting upon a substantially horizontal surface (and/or under a normal/typical Earth gravitational field). See e.g., FIG. 2B and/or FIG. 2C.

FIG. 3 is a front view or a rear view of set of dishware 100 shown in the stacked-configuration 200. FIG. 3 and/or FIG. 4 shows the elastic-band 101 wrapping around the overall-lid 103 and the cover-for-bowl 117, with all the other set of dishware 100 components/parts being located within the overall-lid 103 and cover-for-bowl 117 union. FIG. 4 also shows top portions of elastic-band 101 removably retained within channel 1201 of overall-lid 103. FIG. 5 is a top view of set of dishware 100 shown in the stacked-configuration 200. FIG. 7 is a front view or a rear view of elastic-band 101. In some embodiments, elastic-band 101 may resemble a capital letter “D” (without serifs on the stem) from the front view or the rear view and when elastic-band 101 is not being deformed. In some embodiments, elastic-band 101 may be one or more of: an elastic band, a flexible band, stretchy band, portions thereof, combinations thereof, and/or the like. In some embodiments, elastic-band 101 may be at least substantially (mostly) made from one or more: an elastomer, silicone, rubber, flexible plastic, elastic plastic, stretchy plastic, portions thereof, combinations thereof, and/or the like. In some embodiments, elastic-band 101 may be at least substantially (mostly) made from at least one (1) elastomeric material. In some embodiments, elastic-band 101 may have a durometer of 70, plus or minus five (5). In some embodiments, elastic-band 101 may be configured to keep the other components/parts of set of dishware 100 in the stacked-configuration 200 (transport-configuration 200) when elastic-band 101 may be removably attached to over-all-lid 103 and to a cover-for-bowl 117 as shown in FIG. 2A through and including FIG. 6, with a top portion of elastic-band 101 removably residing within a channel 1203 of overall-lid 103. In some embodiments, the band of elastic-band 101 may be hollow and a closed-loop. In some embodiments, the hollow interior open portion of elastic-band 101 may be configured to receive the other components of set of dishware 200 when set of dishware 200 may be in the stacked-configuration 200 (transport-configuration 200). In some embodiments, elastic-band 101 may be wider than thick and longer than wide. In some embodiments, a shape of elastic-band 101 may be that of a closed loop of belt. In some embodiments, the close loop of elastic-band 101 may be seamless, with no breaks, and configured not to be opened, broken, nor breached. In some embodiments, the close loop of elastic-band 101 may not have any hardware, fasteners, nor buckles attached thereto.

Continuing discussing FIG. 7, in some embodiments, elastic-band 101 may comprise: a top-exterior 701, a top-interior 703, side-exteriors 705, side interiors 707, a bottom-exterior 709, a bottom-interior 711, two (2) top-corners 713, and two (2) curved-bottom-transitions 715. In some embodiments, top-exterior 701 may be a top exterior portion of elastic-band 101. In some embodiments, top-interior 703 may be a top interior portion of elastic-band 101. In some embodiments, top-exterior 701 and top-interior 703 may be oppositely disposed surfaces of elastic-band 101 that face away from each other. Continuing discussing FIG. 7, in some embodiments, side-exteriors 705 may be side exterior portions of elastic-band 101. In some embodiments, side-interiors 707 may be side interior portions of elastic-band 101. In some embodiments, side-exterior 705 and side-interior 707 of a given side of elastic-band 101 (e.g., left-side or right-side) may be oppositely disposed surfaces of elastic-band 101 that face away from each other. In some embodiments, a curvature of top-corner 713 may be more pronounced than a curvature of curved-bottom-transition 715. In some embodiments, the curvature of curved-bottom-transition 715 may be more gradual/gentle than the curvature of top-corner 713.

FIG. 11 is a front view or a rear view of overall-lid 103. In some embodiments, overall-lid 103 may be configured to function as an overall lid for set of dishware 100. In some embodiments, when set of dishware 100 may be in stacked-configuration 200 (transport-configuration 200), overall-lid 103 may function as an overall lid for set of dishware 100. In some embodiments, upper-curved-chamfer 1107 may be a transitional region that is of a curved chamfer physically linking sides 1105 to top 1101. In some embodiments, the flat and/or straight portions of sides 1105 may taller than a height of upper-curved-chamfer 1107. In some embodiments, channel 1201 may interrupt upper-curved-chamfer 1107 at two opposite sides along the outside exterior diameter of overall-lid 103. FIG. 12 is a side view (left or right) of overall-lid 103. FIG. 13 is a top view of overall-lid 103. FIG. 12 shows channel 1201 and more clearly shows bottom-bevel 1203 of overall-lid 103. Bottom-bevel 1203 is visible in FIG. 11 as well, but is not explicitly called out in FIG. 11 by reference numeral. In some embodiments, channel 1201 may be a channel of fixed and non-variable width and depth that runs linearly straight from one side of overall-lid 103 to an opposite side of overall-lid 103 (see also FIG. 13 for channel 1201) along top 1101. FIG. 14 is a bottom view of overall-lid 103. FIG. 14 (and/or FIG. 44) may show top-interior 1401, channel-interior 1403, and fastener (treading) 1405 of overall-lid 103. In some embodiments, top-interior 1401 may be a surface opposing from top 1101. In some embodiments, top-interior 1401 and top 1101 may be separated from each other by a thickness of material of at least some portion of overall-lid 103. In some embodiments, top-interior 1401 may be at least substantially (mostly) flat, planar, and/or smooth. Continuing discussing FIG. 14, in some embodiments, channel-interior 1403 may be a surface opposing from channel 1201. In some embodiments, channel-interior 1403 and channel 1201 may be separated from each other by a thickness of material of at least some portion of overall-lid 103. In some embodiments, channel-interior 1403 may be at least substantially (mostly) flat, planar, run in a linearly straight fashion/direction, and/or be smooth. In some embodiments, channel-interior 1403 may have a fixed and a non-variable width. Continuing discussing FIG. 14, in some embodiments, overall-lid 103 may comprise fastener (treading) 1405. In some embodiments, located on an underside of side 1105 may be fastener (treading) 1405. In some embodiments, fastener (treading) 1405 may be threading, such as, but not limited to, inside threading or female threading. Discussing FIG. 15, FIG. 18, and/or FIG. 19 show, in some embodiments, tab 1507 may be configured to be easily gripped, physically interacted with, and/or physically engaged with by one or more fingers (and/or fingernails) of a human user for removing a given quarter-lid 105 from a given quarter-container 107. In some embodiments, tab 1507 may be a tab of quarter-lid 105. In some embodiments, quarter-lid 105 may have only one (1) tab 1507. In some embodiments, tab 1507 may an extension and/or protrusion of material of quarter-lid 105 that extends away from side 1503 a (short) finite and fixed distance. In some embodiments, tab 1507 may extend away from side 1503 at only one (1) of three rounded corners of quarter-lid 105, e.g., when quarter-lid 105 may be viewed from above as in FIG. 19 and/or when quarter-lid 105 may be viewed from below as in FIG. 20. In some embodiments, a bottom of inset-downward-protruding-lip 1509 may be configured to removably fit into and inside of a top/upper opening portion (e.g., rim 2101 and/or bulge 2105) of quarter-container 107. In some embodiments, inset-downward-protruding-lip 1509 may be an inset downward protruding lip of material that may extend in a uniform, fixed, and non-variable manner past a bottom of side 1503 from interior-of-top 2003 (shown in FIG. 20). As shown in FIG. 15 through FIG. 18 and FIG. 20 inset-downward-protruding-lip 1509 may be inwardly spaced away from the exterior perimeter of quarter-lid 105/side 1503 by a gap 2005. In some embodiments, inset-downward-protruding-lip 1509 may facilitate quarter-lid 105 function as a lid/cover to quarter-container 107, by providing a better friction fit and/or seal between quarter-lid 105 and quarter-container 107 (such as rim 2101 and/or bulge 2105 of quarter-container 107).

When quarter-lid 105 may be viewed from above (e.g., FIG. 19) and/or when viewed from below (e.g., FIG. 20), quarter-lid 105 may have a shape that resembles a quarter of a circle (e.g., one curved side and two straight sides, wherein the two straight sides are perpendicular to each other), with three rounded corners.

FIG. 20 is a bottom view of smaller-lid 105 (quarter-lid 105). FIG. 20 (and/or FIG. 45) may show inside-edge 2001, interior-of-top 2003, and/or gap-for-top-of-quarter-container 2005. In some embodiments, inside-edge 2001 may be an inside edge of inset-downward-protruding-lip 1509. In some embodiments, interior-of-top 2003 may be a surface opposing from top 1501. In some embodiments, quarter-lid 105 and/or quarter-container 107 have an exterior shape when viewed from a top view or a bottom view that resembles a quarter of a circle (see e.g., FIG. 19, FIG. 20, FIG. 25, and FIG. 26).

In some embodiments, skirt 113 may have an inner-mating-surface 3601 around an inside-diameter 3603 of skirt 113, wherein inner-mating-surface 3601 may be configured to (removably) physically contact/touch side 3203 of plate 111 in stacked-configuration 200 and/or during normal intended use of plate 111. Further, in some embodiments, skirt 113 may have a height 3511 that may be configured to (removably) fit within gap 3217 of plate 111. In some embodiments, hole 4203 may run from bottom 4205 to top-of-bottom 4201. In some embodiments, hole 4203 in the bottom center of cover-for-bowl 117 may help with putting cover-for-bowl 117 onto bowl 115, by providing a passage for air between cover-for-bowl 117 and bowl 115 to escape. Without hole 4203 in cover-for-bowl 117, air bubbles may get trapped between cover-for-bowl 117 and bowl 115, which may make putting cover-for-bowl 117 onto bowl 115 more difficult and/or may result in cover-for-bowl 117 not sitting flush against bowl 115 because of such trapped air bubbles.

Note, cover-for-bowl 117 when viewed from above (e.g., FIG. 42) and/or when viewed from below (e.g., FIG. 43), may have an overall shape that resembles a full circle. That is, projection from FIG. 42 and/or of FIG. 43 of cover-for-bowl 117 yields a 2D (two-dimensional) shape of a full circle.

In some embodiments, cover-for-bowl 117 may comprise one or more of: top 4101, side 4103, bottom 4105, curved-sidewall 4107, fastener(s) (e.g., threading) 4109, top-of-bottom 4201, and/or hole 4203.

In some embodiments, set of dishware 100 and/or its component parts may be dishwasher safe and/or microwave safe.

Whereas, in some embodiments, elastic-band 101 and/or cover-for-bowl 117 may be made at least substantially (mostly) from at least one elastomer; and in some embodiments, bowl 115 may be made at least substantially (mostly) from at least one ceramic.

In some embodiments, plate 111 and/or the skirt 113 is/are configured to thermally insulate bowl 115 from quarter-container 107 and from half-container 109 when set of dish-ware 100 is in stacked-configuration 200. Thus, while dishware 100 may be in stacked-configuration 200, warmer foods may be stored separately and thermally insulated from cooler foods. In some embodiments, ceramic material(s) of construction of bowl 115 may help food articles held within bowl 115 to maintain a desired temperature for longer periods of time compared to non-ceramic bowls. For example, and without limiting the scope of the present invention, when warmer food is within bowl 115, then cooler food(s) may be kept in container 107 and/or in half-container 109, with respect to stacked-configuration 200; and the thermally insulating properties of plate 111 and/or the skirt 113 may help to maintain this thermal difference for longer. For example, and without limiting the scope of the present invention, when cooler food is within bowl 115, then warmer food(s) may be kept in container 107 and/or in half-container 109, with respect to stacked-configuration 200; and the thermally insulating properties of plate 111 and/or the skirt 113 may help to maintain this thermal difference for longer.

at least seven different types of parts of an elastic-band, an overall-lid, a quarter-lid, a quarter-container, a half-container, a plate, and a bowl;
wherein the set of dishware is configured to be arranged into two different configurations, a stacked-configuration and an unstacked-configuration;
wherein in the stacked-configuration a majority of the plate resides within the bowl, the quarter-container and the half-container reside on top of the plate, the quarter-lid seals the quarter-container, the overall-lid is on top of the quarter-lid and the half-container, and the elastic-band wraps around both the overall-lid and the bowl, removably pressing the overall-lid and the bowl towards each other;
wherein in the unstacked-configuration the at least seven different types of parts are not touching each other.

2. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein the elastic-band is at least substantially made from at least one elastomeric material.

3. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein the elastic-band resembles a capital letter “D” without serifs on a stem of the capital letter “D” when the elastic-band is not being deformed and when the elastic band is viewed from a front view or a rear view.

4. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein the overall-lid comprises a channel on a top of the overall-lid that is configured to removably receive a top portion of the elastic-band during the stacked-configuration.

5. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein the set of dishware comprises a quantity of two of the quarter-container.

6. The set of dishware according to claim 5, wherein when the set of dishware is in the stacked-configuration, both of the two quarter-containers are arranged side by side, such that bottoms of both of the two quarter-containers reside on a common plane.

7. The set of dishware according to claim 6, wherein the common plane is a top surface of a bottom of the plate.

8. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein the quarter-container and/or the quarter-lid have an exterior shape when viewed from a top view or a bottom view that resembles a quarter of a circle.

9. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein the half-container has an exterior shape when viewed from a top view or a bottom view that resembles a half of a circle.

10. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein when the set of dishware is in the stacked-configuration, a portion of the overall-lid covers over the half-container but the overall-lid does not physically touch the half-container, when the set of dishware is resting upon a substantially horizontal surface.

11. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein when the set of dishware is in the stacked-configuration, the quarter-container and the half-container are arranged side by side, such that a bottom of the quarter-container and a bottom of the half-container reside on a common plane.

12. The set of dishware according to claim 11, wherein the common plane is a top surface of a bottom of the plate.

13. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein the plate has an exterior shape when viewed from a top view or a bottom view that resembles a circle.

14. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein the set of dishware further comprises another different type of part, a skirt; wherein the skirt is an elastomeric hollow annular ring that is configured to removably link the plate to the bowl in the stacked-configuration, such that there is a removable watertight seal between an inside mating surface of the bowl and outside diameters of the skirt in the stacked-configuration; wherein an outside diameter portion of the plate removably resides within an inside diameter portion of the skirt.

15. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein the plate comprises two annular flanges running around an outside periphery of the plate and separated from each other by a gap; wherein the gap is configured to removably receive an inside diameter portion of a skirt; wherein the set of dishware further comprises another different type of part, the skirt.

16. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein the bowl is at least substantially constructed from a ceramic.

17. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein the set of dishware further comprises another different type of part, a cover-for-bowl; wherein the cover-for-bowl is an elastomeric bowl-shaped member that is configured to fit around at least a majority of an exterior of the bowl.

18. The set of dishware according to claim 17, wherein the cover-for-bowl comprises threading; wherein the overall-lid comprises other threading; wherein in the stacked-configuration the threading of the cover-for-bowl removably threads to the other threading of the overall-lid, forming a removable union between the overall-lid and the cover-for-bowl; wherein the elastic-band wraps around this removable union in the stacked-configuration and a remainder of the at least seven different types of parts, aside from the overall-lid and the elastic-band, are all located within this removable union.

19. The set of dishware according to claim 1, wherein the plate is configured to thermally insulate the bowl from the quarter-container and from the half-container when the set of dishware is in the stacked-configuration.
