Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present disclosure relates to a non-piercing type earring which is improved to be easy to put on and take off without piercing the earlobe, and more particularly, to a non-piercing type earring that is provided with a handle part for opening and closing the non-piercing type earring with one hand when it is worn on the ear and that increases wearing comfort and reduces production costs while shortening the manufacturing process by changing the structure of the conventional method of joining the earring separated into a first circular member and a second circular member with a pin to an integrated type

BACKGROUND ART

In general, an earring is an ornament made of precious metal or the like that is fixed to the earlobe by piercing the earlobe, and can be broadly categorized into a piercing type earring that is worn by piercing the earlobe and a non-piercing type earring that is worn by elasticity of a spring without piercing the earlobe.

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a conventional non-piercing type earring. The conventional non-piercing type earring 100 includes a cylindrical earring body 110 having two ends facing each other, a through-hole 111 formed on an inner side of the earring body 110, a spring 112 inserted in the through-hole 111, a semicircular pin 113 elastically supported on the end of the spring 112 and contacting the other end of the earring body 110, such that the earring 100 is worn while being fixedly supported on a user's earlobe by the propulsive force of the semicircular pin 113 elastically propelled by the spring 112 inside the through-hole 111.

However, the conventional non-piercing type earring 100 structurally requires the spring 112 to be inserted into the earring body 110, and the through-hole 111, which defines a space in which the semicircular pin 113 that is elastically propelled by the spring 112 is operated, to be formed. Accordingly, the earring body 110, which has a decorative function, needs to be made of metal.

In other words, the non-piercing type earring 100 is made by inserting a straight semicircular pin 113 into the cylindrical and straight earring body 110 and then pressing the same into a ring shape. However, this conventional metal non-piercing type earring 100 cannot be developed with various shapes and sizes because the earring body 110 is cylindrical and fixed. In addition, it is easily rusted by moisture, which is harmful to the human body, and is heavy, which reduces wearing comfort.

In order to address these issues, various attempts have been made in the past, such as injection molding the earring body 110 with a synthetic resin product. However, various attempts have failed due to the inability to find a method to form the semicircular hole 111 in the earring body 110 in which the semicircular pin 113 is inserted and operated.

DISCLOSURE Technical Problem

Therefore, the present disclosure has been made in view of the above problems, and it is one object of the present disclosure to provide a non-piercing type earring that is provided with a handle part for opening and closing the non-piercing type earring with one hand when it is worn on the ear and that increases wearing comfort and reduces production costs while shortening the manufacturing process by changing the structure of the conventional method of joining the earring separated into a first circular member and a second circular member with a pin to an integrated type.

Technical Solution

In accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure, the above and other objects can be accomplished by the provision of a non-piercing type earring including a first circular member formed in a shape of an arc having a predetermined radius of curvature, the first circular member comprising an opening formed on one side of a leading end of the arc and provided with partitions, and an inclination angle and a hollow portion formed on an opposite side of the leading end; a coupling part pivotably connected to the first circular member and formed in an arc shape having a predetermined radius of curvature, the coupling part comprising partitions corresponding to and fitted into the opening, the partitions having a hole formed through side surfaces thereof; a handle part extending from the coupling part; and a second circular member having an inclination angle formed on an opposite side of the coupling part and having a hollow portion, wherein the first circular member and second circular member are provided with protrusions on the opposite side of the leading ends thereof.

A protruding handle part is further provided on one side of an upper portion of the first circular member to allow a user to open and close the earring with one hand, and a spring is seated in the hollow portions of the first circular member and the second circular member.

A protruding handle part is further provided on one side of an upper portion of the first circular member to allow a user to open and close the earring with one hand.

Advantageous Effects

With the features described above, the following effects are expected according to the present disclosure, the earring may be opened and closed with one hand like a clothespin by utilizing the elasticity of the spring. Thus, a comfortable fit is secured without piercing the earlobe and the earring is easy to remove. In particular, as a handle part is additionally provided, the earring may be opened and closed with one hand, and thus the wearing comfort may be increased.

In addition, by changing the conventional method of joining earrings separated by a first circular member and a second circular member with a pin into an integrated structure, production costs may be reduced and the manufacturing process may be shortened.

In order to provide a thorough understanding of the present disclosure, preferred embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Various modifications of the embodiments of the present disclosure are possible and should not be construed as limiting the scope of the present disclosure to the embodiments described in detail below.

Also, detailed descriptions of the functions and components known in the art are omitted to avoid obscuring the subject matter of the present disclosure.

FIG. 1 is a view illustrating one embodiment according to the prior art. FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a non-piercing type earring according to the present disclosure, and FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a first circular member and a second circular member according to the present disclosure. FIG. 4 is a view illustrating an embodiment of use of the non-piercing type earring according to the present disclosure, and FIG. 5 is a perspective view illustrating a coupled shape of the first circular member and the second circular member having a preventive protrusion according to the present disclosure. FIG. 6 is a view illustrating an embodiment in which the first circular member and the second circular member having a preventive protrusion according to the present disclosure are not coupled, and FIG. 7 is a front view illustrating an embodiment in which the first circular member and the second circular member having a preventive protrusion according to the present disclosure are coupled.

As shown in FIGS. 2 to 7, the non-piercing type earring according to the present disclosure includes a first circular member 10, a second circular member 20, and a spring 30.

The first circular member 10 has an arc shape having a predetermined radius of curvature. An opening 11 including partitions 14 is provided on one side of a leading end of the arc of the first circular member 10. A coupling part 21, which will be described later, is fitted into the opening 11.

A predetermined inclination angle is formed on the opposite side of the leading end of the first circular member 10. A hollow portion 13 is provided on the opposite side of the leading end of the arc. The hollow portion 13 defines an inner space where a torsion spring or a general spring is fixed, which serves to reduce the weight of the earring, and also reduces the amount of a raw material used to manufacture the earring.

A protruding handle part 15 is provided on one side of the upper portion of the first circular member 10 to allow a user to open and close the earring with one hand. The handle part 15 has a size allowing the user to open and close the earring with one hand. The handle part 15 is not limited to the shape shown in the present disclosure, but may be modified to various shapes.

As another feature of the present disclosure, a hole pin 12 having a predetermined length is provided on both side surfaces of the partitions of the opening 11.

A preventive protrusion 17 extends from the end of the opening 11 of the first circular member 10. In order to prevent the earring from severely compressing and hurting the earlobe, the preventive protrusion 17 is formed so as not to press the earlobe indefinitely. The preventive protrusion 17 is caught on a preventive protrusion matching portion 27 of the second circular member 20, which will be described later.

Although the present disclosure has described the first circular member as having an inclination angle and a hollow portion on the opposite side of the leading end, embodiments are not limited thereto. It may have a hollow portion by being deformed into various shapes other than the inclination angle on the opposite side of the leading end.

The second circular member 20 is formed in the shape of an arc having a predetermined radius of curvature and is pivotably connected to the first circular member 10. A coupling part 21 is provided on one side of the leading end of the arc to be fitted into the opening 11. The coupling part 21 forms partitions 24 corresponding to the opening 11.

A predetermined inclination angle is formed on the opposite side of the leading end of the second circular member 20, and a hollow portion 23 defining an inner space is provided at a position other than the one side and opposite side of the leading end.

In this case, a handle part 25 is extends from the coupling part 21 of the second circular member 20. In order to form the handle part 25 to have a size allowing the user to control the handle part with his or her thumb, the handle part may have a certain size on the extension of the coupling part 21.

The opening 11, coupling part 21, inclination angle, etc. described above in relation to the first circular member 10 and the second circular member 20 may be formed as described herein. It will be appreciated that the opening 11, the coupling part 21 and the inclination angle may be slightly modified in order to provide a more comfortable and snug fit when worn by the user on the ear.

When the coupling part 21 is coupled inside the opening 11, the spring 30 may be seated in the hollow portions 13 and 23 to exert an elastic force. The spring 30 may be any spring, such as a leaf or torsion spring, as long as the opening 11 and the coupling part 21 can be interlocked by the elastic force. In the present disclosure, a torsion spring is described as being employed as the spring 30.

Also, a preventive protrusion matching portion 27 is provided on one side of the coupling part 21 of the second circular member 20. Once the preventive protrusion 17 of the first circular member 10 is rotated around the hole pin 12 as a hinge point and caught by the preventive protrusion matching portion 27, the preventive protrusion matching portion 27 prevents the earlobe from being overly compressed and wounded.

Next, the non-piercing type earring according to the present disclosure configured as described above will be described.

The non-piercing type earring according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a first circular member 10, a second circular member 20, and a spring 30, as described above. Specifically, the non-piercing type earring includes a first circular member 10 having an arc shape and including an opening 11 provided with partitions 14, a second circular member 20 pivotably connected to the first circular member 10 and including a coupling part 21 fitted into the opening 11, and a spring 30 provided in hollow portions 13 and 23.

When the coupling part 21 is fitted into the opening 11, the hole pin 12, which is integrally provided to the first circular member 10, is engaged in the hole 22 of the second circular member. Thus, the first circular member 10 and the second circular member 20 are pivotably connected to each other. A spring is seated in the hollow portions of the first circular member and the second circular member. The assembly is completed by first inserting the spring into the second circular member and then bending the first circular member.

In addition, a handle part 15 is further provided on one side of the upper portion of the first circular member 10, thereby enabling a user to open and close the earring with one hand.

Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 4-(a) and 4-(b), the user may open and close the earring like a clothespin by moving the handle part 25 up and down with one hand using the elasticity of the spring 30. Thus, easy wearability and easy removal may be provided at a desired location without piercing the earlobe.

In addition, protrusions 16 and 26 may be provided on the opposite side of the leading ends of the first circular member 10 and the second circular member 20. By forming the protrusions 16 and 26 having a size of 1 to 2 mm on the opposite side of the leading ends of the first circular member 10 and the second circular member 20, that is, on the parts that contact the ear, the earring of the present disclosure may be prevented from slipping when the earring is put on and taken off, and the earlobe may be naturally acupressured to help improve blood circulation. The protrusions 16 and 26 may be formed of metal. Alternatively, the protrusions 16 and 26 may be formed of gemstones or germanium to help improve the immunity of the body, supply oxygen, and relieve allergies.

Also, a preventive protrusion 17 extends from the end of the opening 11 of the first circular member 10, and a preventive protrusion matching portion 27 is provided on one side of the coupling part 21 of the second circular member 20. Thus, once the preventive protrusion 17 of the first circular member 10 is rotated around the hole pin 12 as a hinge point and caught by the preventive protrusion matching portion 27, the preventive protrusion matching portion 27 prevents the earlobe from being overly compressed and wounded.

It will be appreciated by those of ordinary skill in the art to which the present disclosure belongs that modifications may be made to the present disclosure without departing from the essential features of the present disclosure. The disclosed embodiments are not intended to be limiting, but rather to illustrate the disclosure. Therefore, those of ordinary skill in the art will understand that many variations and equivalents are possible. Therefore, the true scope of the present disclosure should be defined by the appended claims of the present disclosure.
