A rocking chair frame has a bottom end of a left side frame rotatably connected to a left lower frame, a bottom end of a right side frame rotatably connected to a right lower frame, and two ends of the foldable cross frame connected to the left side frame and the right side frame respectively. A left elastic device is slidably disposed on the left side frame in an up-and-down direction. A bottom end of a left supporting rod is pivotally connected to the left lower frame. A top end of the left supporting rod is connected to the left elastic device. A right elastic device is slidably disposed on the right side frame in the up-and-down direction. A bottom end of a right supporting rod is pivotally connected to the right lower frame. A top end of the right supporting rod is connected to the right elastic device.

RELATED APPLICATIONS

FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE

The present disclosure relates to a rocking chair frame with an elastic device.

BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE

Conventional chairs in the existing techniques cannot make people relax, while rocking chairs can make people relax. For example, Chinese patent application number 201110415825.6 discloses an automatic rocking chair. A locking spring part comprises a shell, a side wall of the shell is disposed with a button, and a bottom of the shell is disposed with a push rod that can be ejected by pressing the button. The push rod can reset the button. In addition, each of a front end and a rear end of an arc-shaped base provided under the rocking chair is disposed with a spring, which can be seen from the accompanying drawings of Chinese patent application number 201110415825.6. The spring is directly exposed, which is prone to safety hazards. Moreover, the entire rocking chair is long in length and large in size.

For example, Chinese patent application number 202022591974.5 discloses a spring rocking chair. A fixed seat cooperates with a supporting frame, and the supporting frame comprises a front leg frame, a rear leg frame, and a backrest frame. A first connecting piece is connected to the front leg frame and the backrest frame, and a second connecting piece is connected to the rear leg frame and the backrest frame. A telescopic piece is matched and connected between the first connecting piece and the second connecting piece. However, the stability of the overall structure of the rocking chair is relatively poor, and the comfort is also poor.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE

The present disclosure provides a rocking chair frame with an elastic device to solve the deficiencies in the background.

In order to solve the technical problem, a first technical solution of the present disclosure is as follows.

A rocking chair frame with an elastic device comprises a left side frame, a right side frame, a foldable cross frame, a left lower frame, a right lower frame, a left supporting rod, a right supporting rod, a left elastic device, and a right elastic device. A bottom end of the left side frame is rotatably connected to the left lower frame, and a bottom end of the right side frame is rotatably connected to the right lower frame. Two ends of the foldable cross frame are connected to the left side frame and the right side frame respectively, and the left elastic device is slidably disposed on the left side frame in an up-and-down direction. A bottom end of the left supporting rod is pivotally connected to the left lower frame, and a top end of the left supporting rod is connected to the left elastic device. The right elastic device is slidably disposed on the right side frame in the up-and-down direction, and a bottom end of the right supporting rod is pivotally connected to the right lower frame. A top end of the right supporting rod is connected to the right elastic device.

In a preferred embodiment, the left elastic device comprises a left housing and a left spring, and the left housing is slidably disposed on the left side frame in the up-and-down direction. The left spring is located inside of the left housing, a left fixed piece is provided, and the left fixed piece is located in the left housing and is fixedly connected to the left side frame. Two ends of the left spring respectively abut the left fixed piece and a bottom surface of the left housing, and the top end of the left supporting rod is pivotally connected to the left housing. The right elastic device comprises a right housing and a right spring, and the right housing is slidably mounted on the right side frame in the up-and-down direction. The right spring is located inside of the right housing, a right fixed piece is provided, and the right fixed piece is located in the right housing and is fixedly connected to the right side frame. Two ends of the right spring respectively abut the right fixed piece and a bottom surface of the right housing, and the top end of the right supporting rod is pivotally connected to the right housing.

In a preferred embodiment, the left side frame comprises a left backrest rod, a left oblique rod, a left front side rod, and a left armrest rod which are connected together in sequence. A distal end of the left armrest rod is fixedly connected to the left backrest rod, and the left oblique rod is pivotally connected to the left lower frame. The right side frame comprises a right backrest rod, a right oblique rod, a right front side rod, and a right armrest rod which are connected together in sequence, and a distal end of the right armrest rod is fixedly connected to the right backrest rod. The right oblique rod is pivotally connected to the right lower frame.

In a preferred embodiment, the foldable cross frame comprises a first folding frame and a second folding frame which are pivotally connected to each other, and the foldable cross frame further comprises two first connecting rods. First ends of the two first connecting rods are respectively pivotally connected to a left front end of the first folding frame and a left rear end of the first folding frame, and second ends of the two first connecting rods are respectively pivotally connected to the left front side rod and the left backrest rod. The foldable cross frame further comprises two second connecting rods. First ends of two second connecting rods are pivotally connected to a right front end of the second folding frame and a right rear end of the second folding frame respectively, and second ends of the two second connecting rods are respectively connected to the right front side rod and the right backrest rod.

In a preferred embodiment, the left elastic device is located below one of the two first connecting rods that is connected to the left backrest rod, and the right elastic device is located below one of the two second connecting rods that is connected to the right backrest rod.

In a preferred embodiment, the left housing comprises a left position-providing groove arranged vertically and having a top opening, and the one of the two first connecting rods that is connected to the left backrest rod is configured to move in the left position-providing groove in the up-and-down direction. The right housing comprises a right position-providing groove arranged vertically and having a second top opening, and the one of the two second connecting rods that is connected to the right backrest rod is configured to move in the right position-providing groove in the up-and-down direction.

In a preferred embodiment, a bottom end of the left oblique rod is disposed with a first left connecting piece, and the left lower frame is disposed with a second left connecting piece corresponding to the first left connecting piece. A left rotation shaft is provided, which enables the first left connecting piece and the second left connecting piece to be rotatably matched with each other, and a bottom end of the right oblique rod is disposed with a first right connecting piece. The right lower frame is disposed with a second right connecting piece corresponding to the first right connecting piece, and a right rotation shaft is provided, which enables the first right connecting piece and the second right connecting piece to be rotatably matched with each other.

In a preferred embodiment, a left foot pad is disposed on a bottom of a front end of the left oblique rod, a right foot pad is disposed on a bottom of a front end of the right oblique rod, and each of the left foot pad and the right foot pad is flush with a bottom surface of the left lower frame and a bottom surface of the right lower frame.

Compared with the existing techniques, the technical solution has the following advantages.

    • 1. Each of the left lower frame and the right lower frame are placed on the ground, and the left elastic device and the right elastic device are driven to move downward during a rearward rotation of the left side frame and the right side frame. Each of the left elastic device and the right elastic device can undergo compression to store elastic potential energy. During a frontward rotation of the left side frame and the right side frame, the left elastic device and the right elastic device can release the elastic potential energy to accelerate the frontward rotation of the left side frame and the right side frame. The entire rocking chair frame has a compact structure and good stability, is also short in length, small in size, and high in comfort.
    • 2. The left fixed piece can move downward relative to the left housing as the left side frame rotates rearward. Since the two ends of the left spring respectively abut the left fixed piece and the bottom surface of the left housing and the top of the left supporting rod is pivotally connected to the left housing, the left supporting rod can support the left housing. At this time, the left spring can move downward and be compressed under a pressure of the left fixed piece. The left fixed piece can rotate frontward with the left side frame while moving upward relative to the left housing, and the left spring moves upward to release the elastic potential energy. At this time, the left side frame can be accelerated to rotate frontward. The right elastic device adopts the same principle.
    • 3. The left position-providing groove is configured to provide space for up and down movement of the one of the two first connecting rods, and the right position-providing groove is configured to provide space for up and down movement of the one of the two second connecting rods.
    • 4. When the rocking chair frame is in an initial state, the left foot pad and the right foot pad are all flush with the bottom surface of the left and right lower frames. That is, the left foot pad and the right foot pad can be aligned with the entire rocking chair frame. The front support improves the overall stability of the entire rocking chair frame.

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 5, a preferred embodiment of a rocking chair frame with an elastic device is provided. The rocking chair frame with the elastic device comprises a left side frame 10, a right side frame 20, a foldable cross frame 30, a left lower frame 40, a right lower frame 50, a left supporting rod 60, a right supporting rod 70, a left elastic device 80, and a right elastic device 90.

A bottom end of the left side frame 10 is rotatably connected to the left lower frame 40, a bottom end of the right side frame 20 is rotatably connected to the right lower frame 50, and two ends of the foldable cross frame 30 are connected to the left side frame 10 and the right side frame 20 respectively.

Referring to FIG. 1, the left lower frame 40 and the right lower frame 50 are straight rods arranged horizontally.

In this embodiment, the left side frame 10 comprises a left backrest rod 11, a left oblique rod 12, a left front side rod 13, and a left armrest rod 14 which are connected together in sequence. A distal end of the left armrest rod 14 is fixedly connected to the left backrest rod 11, and the left oblique rod 12 is pivotally connected to the left lower frame 40. The right side frame 20 comprises a right backrest rod 21, a right oblique rod 22, a right front side rod 23, and a right armrest rod 24 which are connected together in sequence. A distal end of the right armrest rod 24 is fixedly connected to the right backrest rod 21, and the right oblique rod 22 is pivotally connected to the right lower frame 50.

In this embodiment, the foldable cross frame 30 comprises a first folding frame 31 and a second folding frame 32 which are pivotally connected to each other. The foldable cross frame 30 further comprises two first connecting rods 33. First ends of the two first connecting rods 33 are respectively pivotally connected to a left front end of the first folding frame 31 and a left rear end of the first folding frame 31, and second ends of the two first connecting rods 33 are respectively pivotally connected to the left front side rod 13 and the left backrest rod 11. The foldable cross frame 30 further comprises two second connecting rods 34. First ends of the two second connecting rods 34 are pivotally connected to a right front end of the second folding frame 32 and a right rear end of the second folding frame 32 respectively, and second ends of the two second connecting rods 34 are respectively connected to the right front side rod 23 and the right backrest rod 21.

In this embodiment, referring to FIG. 5, a bottom end of the left oblique rod 12 is disposed with a first left connecting piece 15, and the left lower frame 40 is disposed with a second left connecting piece 41 corresponding to the first left connecting piece 15. A left rotation shaft (not shown in the figures) is provided, which enables the first left connecting piece 15 and the second left connecting piece 41 to be rotatably matched with each other. A bottom end of the right oblique rod 22 is disposed with a first right connecting piece 25, and the right lower frame 50 is disposed with a second right connecting piece 51 corresponding to the first right connecting piece 25. A right rotation shaft (not shown in the figure) is provided, which enables the first right connecting piece 25 and the second right connecting piece 51 to be rotatably matched with each other.

In this embodiment, referring to FIG. 2, a left foot pad 16 is disposed on a bottom of a front end of the left oblique rod 12, and a right foot pad 26 is disposed on a bottom of a front end of the right oblique rod 22. Each of the left foot pad 16 and the right foot pad 26 is flush with a bottom surface of the left lower frame 40 and a bottom surface of the right lower frame 50.

The left elastic device 80 is slidably mounted on the left side frame 10 in an up-and-down direction, a bottom end of the left supporting rod 60 is pivotally connected to the left lower frame 40, and a top end of the left supporting rod 60 is connected to the left elastic device 80. The right elastic device 90 is slidably mounted on the right side frame 20 in the up-and-down direction, a bottom end of the right supporting rod 70 is pivotally connected to the right lower frame 50, and a top end of the right supporting rod 70 is connected to the right elastic device 90.

In this embodiment, referring to FIG. 4, the left elastic device 80 comprises a left housing 81 and a left spring 82. The left housing 81 is slidably mounted on the left side frame 10 in the up-and-down direction, and the left spring 82 is located inside of the left housing 81. A left fixed piece 83 is provided. The left fixed piece 83 is located in the left housing 81 and is fixedly connected to the left side frame 10. Two ends of the left spring 82 respectively abut the left fixed piece 83 and a bottom surface of the left housing 81. The top end of the left supporting rod 60 is pivotally connected to the left housing 81. Referring to FIG. 3, the right elastic device 90 comprises a right housing 91 and a right spring 92, and the right housing 91 is slidably mounted on the right side frame 20 in the up-and-down direction. The right spring 92 is located inside of the right housing 91. A right fixed piece 93 is provided. The right fixed piece 93 is located in the right housing 91 and is fixedly connected to the right side frame 20. Two ends of the right spring 92 respectively abut the right fixed piece 93 and a bottom surface of the right housing 91. The top end of the right supporting rod 70 is pivotally connected to the right housing 91.

In this embodiment, the left elastic device 80 is located below one of the two first connecting rods 33 that is connected to the left backrest rod 11, and the right elastic device 90 is located below one of the two second connecting rods 34 that is connected to the right backrest rod 21.

In this embodiment, referring to FIG. 1, the left housing 81 comprises a left position-providing groove 84 arranged vertically and having a top opening, and the one of the two first connecting rods 33 that is connected to the left backrest rod 11 is configured to move in the left position-providing groove 84 in the up-and-down direction. The right housing 91 comprises a right position-providing groove 94 arranged vertically and having a top opening, and the one of the two second connecting rods 34 that is connected to the right backrest rod 21 is configured to move in the right position-providing groove 94 in the up-and-down direction.

The working principle of the rocking chair frame is described as follow.

In an initial state, the left foot pad 16 and the right foot pad 26 are flush with the bottom surface of the left lower frame 40 and the bottom surface of the right lower frame 50.

When a person sits on the rocking chair frame, a center of gravity of the person can be moved backward by the person slightly touching the ground with the feet of the person, which can drive the left side frame 10 and the right side frame 20 to rotate backward. Since the left housing 81 and the right housing 91 are supported by the left supporting rod 60 and the right supporting rod 70 respectively, the left housing 81 and the right housing 91 are relatively fixed. The left fixed piece 83 and the right fixed piece 93 move downward respectively under a drive of the left backrest rod 11 and a drive of the right backrest rod 21, so as to respectively enable the left spring 82 and the right spring 92 to be driven to move down to be compressed to store elastic potential energy.

Conversely, when the person's center of gravity moves frontward, the left side frame 10 and the right side frame 20 can be driven to rotate frontward, and the left fixed piece 83 and the right fixed piece 93 respectively move upward under the drive of the left backrest rod 11 and the drive of the right backrest rod 21, so as to respectively drive the left spring 82 and the right spring 92 to move upward to release the elastic potential energy and accelerate frontward movement of the left side frame 10 and the right side frame 20 to enable the left side frame 10 and the right side frame 20 to be reset to the initial state.

The entire rocking chair frame has a compact structure and good stability, is also short in length, small in size, and high in comfort. Moreover, the folding operation can be performed by folding the foldable cross frame 30, which is more convenient to use.

Claims

1. A rocking chair frame with an elastic device, comprising:

a left side frame,
a right side frame,
a foldable cross frame,
a left lower frame,
a right lower frame,
a left supporting rod,
a right supporting rod,
a left elastic device, and
a right elastic device, wherein: a bottom end of the left side frame is rotatably connected to the left lower frame, a bottom end of the right side frame is rotatably connected to the right lower frame, two ends of the foldable cross frame are connected to the left side frame and the right side frame respectively, the left elastic device is slidably disposed on the left side frame in an up-and-down direction, a bottom end of the left supporting rod is pivotally connected to the left lower frame, a top end of the left supporting rod is connected to the left elastic device, the right elastic device is slidably disposed on the right side frame in the up-and-down direction, a bottom end of the right supporting rod is pivotally connected to the right lower frame, and a top end of the right supporting rod is connected to the right elastic device.

2. The rocking chair frame with the elastic device according to claim 1, wherein:

the left elastic device comprises a left housing and a left spring,
the left housing is slidably disposed on the left side frame in the up-and-down direction,
the left spring is located inside of the left housing,
a left fixed piece is provided,
the left fixed piece is located in the left housing and is fixedly connected to the left side frame,
two ends of the left spring respectively abut the left fixed piece and a bottom surface of the left housing,
the top end of the left supporting rod is pivotally connected to the left housing,
the right elastic device comprises a right housing and a right spring,
the right housing is slidably mounted on the right side frame in the up-and-down direction,
the right spring is located inside of the right housing,
a right fixed piece is provided,
the right fixed piece is located in the right housing and is fixedly connected to the right side frame,
two ends of the right spring respectively abut the right fixed piece and a bottom surface of the right housing, and
the top end of the right supporting rod is pivotally connected to the right housing.

3. The rocking chair frame with the elastic device according to claim 2, wherein:

the left side frame comprises a left backrest rod, a left oblique rod, a left front side rod, and a left armrest rod which are connected together in sequence,
a distal end of the left armrest rod is fixedly connected to the left backrest rod,
the left oblique rod is pivotally connected to the left lower frame,
the right side frame comprises a right backrest rod, a right oblique rod, a right front side rod, and a right armrest rod which are connected together in sequence,
a distal end of the right armrest rod is fixedly connected to the right backrest rod, and
the right oblique rod is pivotally connected to the right lower frame.

4. The rocking chair frame with the elastic device according to claim 3, wherein:

the foldable cross frame comprises a first folding frame and a second folding frame which are pivotally connected to each other,
the foldable cross frame further comprises two first connecting rods,
first ends of the two first connecting rods are respectively pivotally connected to a left front end of the first folding frame and a left rear end of the first folding frame,
second ends of the two first connecting rods are respectively pivotally connected to the left front side rod and the left backrest rod,
the foldable cross frame further comprises two second connecting rods,
first ends of two second connecting rods are pivotally connected to a right front end of the second folding frame and a right rear end of the second folding frame respectively, and
second ends of the two second connecting rods are respectively connected to the right front side rod and the right backrest rod.

5. The rocking chair frame with the elastic device according to claim 4, wherein:

the left elastic device is located below one of the two first connecting rods that is connected to the left backrest rod, and
the right elastic device is located below one of the two second connecting rods that is connected to the right backrest rod.

6. The rocking chair frame with the elastic device according to claim 5, wherein:

the left housing comprises a left position-providing groove arranged vertically and having a top opening,
the one of the two first connecting rods that is connected to the left backrest rod is configured to move in the left position-providing groove in the up-and-down direction,
the right housing comprises a right position-providing groove arranged vertically and having a second top opening, and
the one of the two second connecting rods that is connected to the right backrest rod is configured to move in the right position-providing groove in the up-and-down direction.

7. The rocking chair frame with the elastic device according to claim 3, wherein:

a bottom end of the left oblique rod is disposed with a first left connecting piece,
the left lower frame is disposed with a second left connecting piece corresponding to the first left connecting piece,
a left rotation shaft is provided, which enables the first left connecting piece and the second left connecting piece to be rotatably matched with each other,
a bottom end of the right oblique rod is disposed with a first right connecting piece,
the right lower frame is disposed with a second right connecting piece corresponding to the first right connecting piece, and
a right rotation shaft is provided, which enables the first right connecting piece and the second right connecting piece to be rotatably matched with each other.

8. The rocking chair frame with the elastic device according to claim 3, wherein:

a left foot pad is disposed on a bottom of a front end of the left oblique rod,
a right foot pad is disposed on a bottom of a front end of the right oblique rod, and
each of the left foot pad and the right foot pad is flush with a bottom surface of the left lower frame and a bottom surface of the right lower frame.
