A wall mount having an anchor element that has a fastening portion for fastening the anchor element to a building and that has an anchor-element-side bearing portion adjoining the fastening portion and extending along a central axis; at least one intermediate element that has a first bearing portion and a second bearing portion; and a fastening element that has a fastening-element-side bearing portion and that has a fastening portion for fastening a sanitary element. The first bearing portion of the intermediate element is slidably and securably connected to the anchor-element-side bearing portion; the fastening-element-side bearing portion of the fastening element is slidably and securably connected to the second bearing portion; and the bearing portions are each designed such that the corresponding bearing portions each telescopically engage with one another.

Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a wall mount as claimed in the preamble of claim 1.

PRIOR ART

A wall mount for a sanitary article has become known from EP 3 428 353. The wall mount comprises an anchor element for fastening to a wall, a threaded rod and a thread element which can be connected to a mounting frame. A thread element can be brought into an engagement position and a release position. In the release position, the threaded rod can be axially freely moved and in the engagement position the thread element is engagement with the threaded rod so that the threaded rod can be adjusted via a screw movement.

EP 3 441 536 discloses a further wall mount which has an insertion part with a thread portion. The insertion part is pivotable here and can be brought from a rough adjustment position into a fine adjustment position. Disadvantages of EP 3 441 536 include the mounting of the insertion part and its receiving on the securing part. In particular, mounting in the factory is very complex and handling is also not very easy for the plumber.

The publications EP 3 404 151 and EP 3 404 153 disclose fastening sets which also enable rough adjustment and fine adjustment between a fastening element and a threaded rod.

The wall mounts known from the prior art have the disadvantage that they must be provided with different parts for different installation situations. For example, with threaded rods of different lengths.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Starting from this prior art, one object on which the invention is based is to indicate a wall mount which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art. In particular, a wall mount should be indicated which can be adapted more flexibly to different installation situations.

A wall mount as claimed in claim 1 achieves this object. Accordingly the wall mount comprises

    • an anchor element with a fastening portion for fastening the anchor element to a supporting structure and with an anchor element-side bearing portion which adjoins the fastening portion and extends along a central axis,
    • at least one intermediate element with a first bearing portion and a second bearing portion, and
    • a fastening element with a fastening element-side bearing portion and with a fastening portion for fastening a sanitary element.

The intermediate element is displaceably and fixably connected with its first bearing portion to the anchor element-side bearing portion. The fastening element is furthermore displaceably and fixably connected with its fastening element-side bearing portion to the second bearing portion. Said bearing portions are formed in each case in such a manner that the corresponding bearing portions engage in each case telescopically in one another.

As a result of the telescopic engagement, this wall mount has the advantage that the length from the fastening portion of the anchor element to the fastening portion of the fastening element can be adjusted over a large adjustment range or length range, which enables an adaptation of the wall mount to many different installation situations.

The expression “that the corresponding bearing portions engage in each case telescopically in one another” should be understood such that

    • the first bearing portion of the intermediate element is connected telescopically to the anchor element-side bearing portion, and
    • the first bearing portion of the intermediate element is connected telescopically to the fastening element-side bearing portion.

The expression “movably and fixably connected” should be understood such that said portions are displaceable relative to one another and are fixable after completed displacement so that a further displacement is no longer possible. This can be achieved, for example, with a thread connection in the case of which the individual elements are displaced relative to one another by rotation and in the case of which said fixing is achieved as a result of the self-locking effect of the thread in the absence of the rotational movement. Other connections are also conceivable.

The fastening element-side bearing portion is part of the fastening element and the anchor element-side bearing portion is part of the anchor element.

In a first variant, the anchor element-side bearing portion is formed as a bearing opening and the first bearing portion protrudes into said bearing opening and is movably and fixably mounted in the bearing opening. The second bearing portion is furthermore formed as a bearing opening and the fastening element-side bearing portion is movably and fixably mounted in the bearing opening.

In a second variant, the first bearing portion is formed as a bearing opening and the anchor element-side bearing portion protrudes into said bearing opening and is movably and fixably mounted in the bearing opening. The fastening element-side bearing portion is furthermore formed as a bearing opening and the second bearing portion is movably and fixably mounted in the bearing opening.

Said bearing openings preferably have a cylindrical cross-section and extend in the direction of a central axis. Said bearing portions which protrude into the bearing openings likewise have a cylindrical cross-section and extend along said central axes. The central axes of the respective portions run collinearly to one another.

The first bearing portion preferably has a first thread portion and the anchor element-side bearing portion has an anchor element-side thread portion, wherein the two thread portions engage in one another.

The second bearing portion preferably has a second thread portion and the fastening element-side bearing portion has a fastening element-side thread portion, wherein the two thread portions engage in one another.

In one variant, the first thread portion is preferably an external thread and the anchor element-side thread portion is an internal thread. The second thread portion is furthermore an internal thread and the fastening element-side thread portion is an external thread.

In another variant, the first thread portion is preferably an internal thread and the anchor element-side thread portion is an external thread. The second thread portion is furthermore an external thread and the fastening element-side thread portion is an internal thread.

Said internal threads engage into said external threads.

The pitch of the first thread portion and of the anchor element-side thread portion is preferably greater than or smaller than or equal to the pitch of the second thread portion and of the fastening element-side thread portion.

Greater flexibility in the configuration of the wall holder for different applications is achieved by varying the pitch.

One of the two bearing portions which engage in one another preferably has an adjustment element which can be moved from a rough adjustment position into a fine adjustment position. The adjustment element can be arranged between the intermediate element and the anchor element and/or between the intermediate element and the fastening element.

In the case of the arrangement of the adjustment element between the intermediate element and the anchor element, the adjustment element, in the rough adjustment position, is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is freely movable relative to the anchor element for a rough adjustment. In the fine adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element can be moved relative to the anchor element for a fine adjustment.

In the case of the arrangement of the adjustment element between the intermediate element and the fastening element, the adjustment element, in the rough adjustment position, is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is freely movable relative to the fastening element for a rough adjustment. In the fine adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element can be moved relative to the fastening element for a fine adjustment.

In the rough adjustment position, a movement is permitted with which a large length difference can be achieved in a short period of time. In the fine adjustment position, a movement is permitted which permits smaller length differences.

The adjustment element preferably has one of said thread portions, wherein in the rough adjustment position this thread portion is not in engagement with the other thread portion and wherein in the fine adjustment position this thread portion is in engagement with the other thread portion.

The adjustment element preferably provides a thread portion in the form of an internal thread.

In the rough adjustment position, the adjustment element is consequently positioned in such a manner that the thread portions are not in engagement with one another so that the corresponding elements are freely displaceable in the direction of the central axis. In the fine adjustment position, the thread portions are in engagement in such a manner that one of said elements experiences a thrust in the direction of the central axis by rotation of said element.

The wall holder furthermore preferably has at least one lock nut which is provided with at least one of said external threads.

The maximum displacement length between the intermediate element and the anchor element is preferably smaller than the maximum displacement length between the intermediate element and the fastening element. Alternatively, the maximum displacement length between the intermediate element and the anchor element is larger than the maximum displacement length between the intermediate element and the fastening element. Alternatively, the maximum displacement length between the intermediate element and the anchor element is equal to the maximum displacement length between the intermediate element and the fastening element.

Greater flexibility in the configuration of the wall holder for different applications is achieved by varying the displacement length between the individual elements.

The maximum displacement length between the fastening portion of the anchor element and the fastening portion of the fastening element preferably lies between 100 and 300 millimeters.

An arrangement comprises at least one wall holder according to the above description and a sanitary article with a bearing opening into which the fastening element engages. The sanitary article is, for example, a mounting frame on which sanitary elements, such as intake and discharge pipes, flushing cisterns, toilet bowls, urinals, wash basins, etc. can be mounted.

A method for adjusting a wall holder according to the above description is characterized in that, when adjusting the distance between the fastening portion of the anchor element and the fastening portion of the fastening element, the relative position between the intermediate element and the anchor element and/or the relative position between the intermediate element and the fastening element is adjusted.

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

A wall mount 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIGS. 1 to 6. FIG. 7 shows the wall mount according to FIGS. 1 to 6 with a detail of a sanitary article 23, here in the form of a mounting profile of a mounting frame. The wall holder serves to fasten a sanitary article to a supporting structure, such as, for example, a wall of a building or a profile rail or other fixedly arranged elements. The sanitary article 23 is, for example, a mounting frame on which further sanitary elements such as cisterns, toilet bowls, urinals, sinks, etc. are arranged.

The wall mount 1 comprises an anchor element 2, an intermediate piece 5 which is connected to the anchor element 2 and a fastening element 8 which is connected to the intermediate piece 5. The anchor element 2, the intermediate piece 5 and the fastening element 8 are movable telescopically with respect to one another in this case. A large adjustment range of the length L of the wall mount can be achieved with a small number of individual elements as a result of this telescopic arrangement. The length L is specified by the desired distance between sanitary article 23 and building wall.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, the anchor element 2, the intermediate piece 5 and the fastening element 8 are located in an almost completely retracted position. FIGS. 3 to 7 show various positions of anchor element 2, intermediate piece 5 and fastening element 8, wherein the length changes of the length L are apparent.

The anchor element 2 is formed with a fastening portion 3 for fastening the anchor element 2 to a supporting structure and with an anchor element-side bearing portion 4 adjoining the fastening portion 3 and extending along a central axis M. The fastening portion 3 comprises in the embodiment shown a stop surface 17 with which the anchor element 2 lies on a supporting structure. The fastening portion 4 further comprises an opening 18 through which a screw, not shown in the figures, can be guided. The anchor element 2 can then be fastened to the building wall with the screw.

The intermediate element 5 has a first bearing portion 6 and a second bearing portion 7. The intermediate element 5 protrudes with the first bearing portion 6 into the anchor element-side bearing portion 4. The intermediate element 5 is connected displaceably and fixably with the first bearing portion 6 to the anchor element-side bearing portion 4. The intermediate element 5 is accordingly displaceable relative to the anchor element 2 or adjustable in its position relative to the anchor element 2. After completed displacement or adjustment, the intermediate element 5 can be fixed on the anchor element 2. As described below, the intermediate element 5 and the anchor element 2 in the embodiment shown are connected to one another via a thread connection. In this case, the intermediate element 5 and the anchor element 2 are fixed with respect to one another via the self-locking effect of the thread.

Precisely one single intermediate element is arranged in the embodiment shown. In further embodiments, it would also be conceivable to arrange several intermediate elements which engage telescopically in one another.

The fastening element 8 has a fastening element-side bearing portion 9. The fastening element 8 furthermore has a fastening portion 10 for fastening a sanitary element 23. In the embodiment shown, the fastening portion 10 is formed as a screw head 19. The screw head 19 engages into a bearing opening 24 on the sanitary element 23. The fastening element-side bearing portion 9 protrudes into the second bearing portion 7 of the intermediate element 6. Here, the second bearing portion 7 is displaceably and fixably connected to the fastening element-side bearing portion 9. In relation to displaceability and fixability, reference is made to the description of the connection between the first bearing portion 6 and the anchor element-side bearing portion 4.

The length L of the wall anchor 1 is defined as a distance in the direction of the central axis M as seen from the stop face 17 of the anchor element up to the screw head 19 of the fastening element 8. The maximum displacement length of the length L is preferably between 100 and 300 millimeters. This means that the length L can be adjusted between 100 and 300 millimeters.

Said bearing portions 4, 6, 7, 9 are, as is apparent, formed in such a manner that the corresponding bearing portions 4, 6, 7, 9 engage in each case telescopically in one another. In the embodiment shown, the anchor element-side bearing portion 4 is formed as bearing opening 25 and the first bearing portion 6 protrudes into said bearing opening 25. Here, the first bearing portion 6 is displaceably and fixably mounted in the bearing opening of the anchor element-side bearing portion. The second bearing portion 7 is formed as bearing opening 26 and the fastening element-side bearing portion 9 is displaceably and fixably mounted in the bearing opening 26.

In the embodiment shown, the first bearing portion 6 is formed with a first thread portion 11 and the anchor element-side bearing portion 4 with an anchor element-side thread portion 12. The two thread portions 11, 12 engage in one another. The second bearing portion 7 is furthermore formed with a second thread portion 13 and the fastening element-side bearing portion 9 with a fastening element-side thread portion 14. The two thread portions 13, 14 engage in one another.

In the embodiment shown, the anchor element-side thread portion 12 is formed as an internal thread and the first thread portion 11 is formed as an external thread. The second thread portion 13 is furthermore formed as an internal thread and the fastening element-side thread portion 14 is formed as an external thread.

In the embodiment shown, the first thread portion 11 and the anchor element-side thread portion 12 are formed integrally on the intermediate element 5 or on the anchor element 2. An optional lock nut 16 is screwed onto the first thread portion 12 and serves to mechanically solidly secure the two thread portions 11, 12 relative to one another if the desired relative position between the intermediate element 5 and the anchor element 2 is adjusted.

In the embodiment shown, the second thread portion 13 is part of an adjustment element 15. The adjustment element 15 can be moved from a rough adjustment position into a fine adjustment position. In the figures, the adjustment element 15 is located in each case in the fine adjustment position. In the rough adjustment position, the adjustment element 15 is positioned in each case in such a manner that the intermediate element 5 is freely movable relative to the fastening element 8 for a rough adjustment. No engagement takes place between the second thread portion 13 and the fastening element-side thread portion 14. A corresponding rough adjustment can be achieved here. In the fine adjustment position, the adjustment element 15 lies in such a manner that an engagement takes place between the fastening element-side thread portion 14 and the second thread portion 13. This means that a fine advance between the intermediate element 5 and the fastening element 8 is achieved in the case of a rotation of the fastening element 8.

In other embodiments, it is furthermore conceivable to provide the thread connection between the anchor element 2 and the intermediate element 5 likewise with an adjustment element 15; or entirely dispense with the adjustment element 15.

In the embodiment shown, the adjustment element 15 is mounted in a receptacle 20 in the region of the front side of the intermediate element 5. The adjustment element 15 has two limbs 21 which are connected at the end side to a connecting limb 22. The adjustment element 15 can correspondingly be actuated via the connecting limb 22. The second thread portion 13 is formed on the inside of the limbs 21. The limbs 21 protrude, as shown in the figures, into the bearing opening 26 on the intermediate element 5. The adjustment element 15 can be moved transversely to the central axis from the rough adjustment position into the fine adjustment position and back out again.

FIG. 7 shows an arrangement comprising at least one wall mount 1 according to FIGS. 1 to 6 and a sanitary article 23 having at least one bearing opening 24 into which the fastening element 8 engages. The position of the sanitary article 23 at a distance to a supporting structure to which the anchor element 2 is fastened can be adjusted by the length adjustment of the wall holder 1.

15. Wall mount comprising

an anchor element with a fastening portion for fastening the anchor element to a supporting structure and with an anchor element-side bearing portion which adjoins the fastening portion and extends along a central axis,
at least one intermediate element with a first bearing portion and a second bearing portion, and
a fastening element with a fastening element-side bearing portion and with a fastening portion for fastening a sanitary element,
wherein the intermediate element is displaceably and fixably connected with its first bearing portion to the anchor element-side bearing portion,
wherein the fastening element is displaceably and fixably connected with its fastening element-side bearing portion to the second bearing portion and
wherein said bearing portions are formed in each case in such a manner that the corresponding bearing portions engage in each case telescopically in one another.

Wall mount as claimed in claim 15, wherein the anchor element-side bearing portion is formed as a bearing opening and wherein the first bearing portion protrudes into said bearing opening and is movably and fixably mounted in the bearing opening; and wherein the second bearing portion is formed as a bearing opening and wherein the fastening element-side bearing portion is movably and fixably mounted in the bearing opening.

Wall mount as claimed in claim 15, wherein the first bearing portion is formed as a bearing opening and wherein the anchor element-side bearing portion engages into said bearing opening and is movably and fixably mounted in the bearing opening; and wherein the fastening element-side bearing portion is formed as a bearing opening and wherein the second bearing portion is movably and fixably mounted in the bearing opening.

18. Wall mount as claimed in claim 15, wherein the first bearing portion has a first thread portion and the anchor element-side bearing portion has an anchor element-side thread portion, wherein the two thread portions engage in one another; and/or wherein the second bearing portion has a second thread portion and the fastening element-side bearing portion has a fastening element-side thread portion, wherein the two thread portions engage in one another.

19. Wall mount as claimed in claim 18, wherein pitch of the first thread portion and of the anchor element-side thread portion is greater or smaller than or equal to the pitch of the second thread portion and of the fastening element-side thread portion.

20. Wall mount as claimed in claim 15,

wherein the first bearing portion has a first thread portion and the anchor element-side bearing portion has an anchor element-side thread portion, wherein the two thread portions engage in one another;
wherein the second bearing portion has a second thread portion and the fastening element-side bearing portion has a fastening element-side thread portion, wherein the two thread portions engage in one another,
wherein the first thread portion is an external thread and the anchor element-side thread portion is an internal thread and wherein the second thread portion is an internal thread and the fastening element-side thread portion is an external thread.

21. Wall mount as claimed in claim 20, wherein pitch of the first thread portion and of the anchor element-side thread portion is greater or smaller than or equal to the pitch of the second thread portion and of the fastening element-side thread portion.

22. Wall mount as claimed in claim 15,

wherein the first bearing portion has a first thread portion and the anchor element-side bearing portion has an anchor element-side thread portion, wherein the two thread portions engage in one another;
wherein the second bearing portion has a second thread portion and the fastening element-side bearing portion has a fastening element-side thread portion, wherein the two thread portions engage in one another,
wherein the first thread portion is an internal thread and the anchor element-side thread portion is an external thread and wherein the second thread portion is an external thread and the fastening element-side thread portion is an internal thread.

23. Wall mount as claimed in claim 22, wherein pitch of the first thread portion and of the anchor element-side thread portion is greater or smaller than or equal to the pitch of the second thread portion and of the fastening element-side thread portion.

24. Wall mount as claimed in claim 15, wherein one of the two bearing portions which engage in one another has an adjustment element which can be moved from a rough adjustment position into a fine adjustment position,

wherein, in the rough adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is freely movable relative to the anchor element for a rough adjustment and wherein, in the fine adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element can be moved relative to the anchor element for a fine adjustment; and/or
wherein, in the rough adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is freely movable relative to the fastening element for a rough adjustment and wherein, in the fine adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is movable relative to the fastening element for a fine adjustment.

25. Wall mount as claimed in claim 18,

wherein one of the two bearing portions which engage in one another has an adjustment element which can be moved from a rough adjustment position into a fine adjustment position,
wherein, in the rough adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is freely movable relative to the anchor element for a rough adjustment and wherein, in the fine adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element can be moved relative to the anchor element for a fine adjustment; and/or
wherein, in the rough adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is freely movable relative to the fastening element for a rough adjustment and wherein, in the fine adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is movable relative to the fastening element for a fine adjustment,
wherein the adjustment element has one of said thread portions, wherein, in the rough adjustment position, this thread portion is not in engagement with the other thread portion and wherein, in the fine adjustment position, this thread portion is in engagement with the other thread portion.

26. Wall mount as claimed in claim 20,

wherein one of the two bearing portions which engage in one another has an adjustment element which can be moved from a rough adjustment position into a fine adjustment position,
wherein, in the rough adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is freely movable relative to the anchor element for a rough adjustment and wherein, in the fine adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element can be moved relative to the anchor element for a fine adjustment; and/or
wherein, in the rough adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is freely movable relative to the fastening element for a rough adjustment and wherein, in the fine adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is movable relative to the fastening element for a fine adjustment,
wherein the adjustment element has one of said thread portions, wherein, in the rough adjustment position, this thread portion is not in engagement with the other thread portion and wherein, in the fine adjustment position, this thread portion is in engagement with the other thread portion.

27. Wall mount as claimed in claim 22,

wherein one of the two bearing portions which engage in one another has an adjustment element which can be moved from a rough adjustment position into a fine adjustment position,
wherein, in the rough adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is freely movable relative to the anchor element for a rough adjustment and wherein, in the fine adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element can be moved relative to the anchor element for a fine adjustment; and/or
wherein, in the rough adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is freely movable relative to the fastening element for a rough adjustment and wherein, in the fine adjustment position, the adjustment element is positioned in such a manner that the intermediate element is movable relative to the fastening element for a fine adjustment,
wherein the adjustment element has one of said thread portions, wherein, in the rough adjustment position, this thread portion is not in engagement with the other thread portion and wherein, in the fine adjustment position, this thread portion is in engagement with the other thread portion.

28. Wall mount as claimed in claim 15, wherein at least one lock nut is furthermore provided on at least one of said external threads.

29. Wall mount as claimed in claim 15, wherein the maximum displacement length between the intermediate element and the anchor element is smaller than the maximum displacement length between the intermediate element and the fastening element; or wherein the maximum displacement length between the intermediate element and the anchor element is larger than the maximum displacement length between the intermediate element and the fastening element; or wherein the maximum displacement length between the intermediate element and the anchor element is equal to the maximum displacement length between the intermediate element and the fastening element.

30. Wall mount as claimed in claim 15, wherein the maximum displacement length between the fastening portion of the anchor element and the fastening portion of the fastening element lies between 100 and 300 millimeters.

31. Arrangement comprising at least one wall mount

said wall mount comprising
an anchor element with a fastening portion for fastening the anchor element to a supporting structure and with an anchor element-side bearing portion which adjoins the fastening portion and extends along a central axis,
at least one intermediate element with a first bearing portion and a second bearing portion, and
a fastening element with a fastening element-side bearing portion and with a fastening portion for fastening a sanitary element,
wherein the intermediate element is displaceably and fixably connected with its first bearing portion to the anchor element-side bearing portion,
wherein the fastening element is displaceably and fixably connected with its fastening element-side bearing portion to the second bearing portion and
wherein said bearing portions are formed in each case in such a manner that the corresponding bearing portions engage in each case telescopically in one another
and wherein the arrangement further comprising a sanitary article with a bearing opening into which the fastening element engages.

32. Method for adjusting a wall mount comprising

an anchor element with a fastening portion for fastening the anchor element to a supporting structure and with an anchor element-side bearing portion which adjoins the fastening portion and extends along a central axis,
at least one intermediate element with a first bearing portion and a second bearing portion, and
a fastening element with a fastening element-side bearing portion and with a fastening portion for fastening a sanitary element,
wherein the intermediate element is displaceably and fixably connected with its first bearing portion to the anchor element-side bearing portion,
wherein the fastening element is displaceably and fixably connected with its fastening element-side bearing portion to the second bearing portion and
wherein said bearing portions are formed in each case in such a manner that the corresponding bearing portions engage in each case telescopically in one another,
wherein during adjustment of the distance between the fastening portion of the anchor element and the fastening portion of the fastening element the relative position between the intermediate element and the anchor element and/or the relative position between the intermediate element and the fastening element is adjusted.
