CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

This application claims priority to International Patent Application No. PCT/EP2022/054493, filed on Feb. 23, 2022, and Austrian Patent Application No. A50131/2021, filed on Feb. 25, 2021, the contents of both of which are hereby incorporated by reference in their entirety.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to a sleeve-shaped outer part formed from a blank cut for encasing a cup-shaped inner container and to a combination packaging container formed from an inner container and the outer part. The invention further relates to a method for separating the combination packaging container into its inner container and the outer part by separating the overlapping region of the outer part.

BACKGROUND

WO 2020/245148 A1 shares the same applicant and describes a generic, sleeve-shaped outer part formed from a blank cut, wherein the blank cut is wound to form a jacket and its end portions are connected to each other in an overlapping region. A target separation region comprises an actuating means with a detection portion for separating separation portions located on both sides. As seen in the circumferential direction, the detection portion is arranged at a lateral distance with an offset in relation to the separation portions, which are aligned so as to taper toward one another, and an imagined straight connecting line therebetween. An individual target separation region is formed in the jacket of the outer part between each detection portion end and a respective end of the separation portions. The lower end face of the outer part facing the closed end of the inner container is supported on a supporting shoulder, which projects radially outwards, thereby achieving a form-fitting mutual holder between the outer part and the inner container within certain limits. The outer part may detach from the inner container in an undesirable manner because of manufacturing inaccuracies caused by tolerance, a temperature change and/or moisture absorption of the blank cut preferably formed from a cellulose material.

WO 2009/130043 A1 describes, inter alia, a sleeve-shaped outer part for forming a combination packaging container. The outer part is formed from a blank cut by raising and connecting ends to one another in an overlapping region. Furthermore, an actuating means for separating a target separation region is provided, which is arranged between the two end regions spaced apart from one another in the axial direction. The actuating means is formed by an opening extending up to the overlapping region, wherein the longitudinal side of the overlapping end forms the detection portion. In a further embodiment, an actuating tab, which can be released from the jacket in a U-shaped circumferential line, is provided, in which the weakening line delimiting the actuating tab ends at the longitudinal side of the overlapping end. Though this design has proven itself in principle, it has not been possible to achieve perfect separation of the target separating region adjoining the actuating means in all applications.

EP 2 338 804 B1 addresses a packaging container with a first container part, having a container bottom and a container wall extending from the container bottom in the direction of a container edge, and a second container part, which reinforces the container wall and is in the form of a sleeve, which is detachably connected to the first container part and abuts at least partially against the outer surface of the container wall.

The second container part has a weakening line running from an upper edge of the second container part facing the container edge in the direction of a lower edge of the second container part facing the container bottom. The second container part can be detached from the first container part by separating the second container part along the weakening line. The second container part further has a gripping region to be gripped manually for separating the second container part, the second container part being detachable from the first container part from said region. The weakening line has an engagement section delimiting the gripping region with a reinforced weakening and/or a cutting line, which forms the starting section for separating the second container part along the weakening line. Furthermore, an access area adjoining the gripping area and located on the side of the weakening line opposite the gripping area is provided, said access area having two target separation lines running transversely to the weakening line, which end on one side in the engagement section of the weakening line. The result thereof is that, after separation along the target separation lines and the engagement section, the access region remains firmly connected to that edge region of the second container part that does not have the gripping region. It has not been possible to achieve perfect separation of the target separating region that adjoins the gripping region in all applications either.

Further packaging containers are known from US 2012/205480 A1, US 2018/808880 A1, U.S. Pat. No. 5,385,260 A, US 2008/087877 A1, DE 20 2004 015374 U1 and EP 2 128 041 A1

SUMMARY

It was an object of the present invention to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a sleeve-shaped outer part and a combination packaging container, comprising a cup-shaped inner container with a sleeve-shaped outer part surrounding it, in which the sleeve-shaped outer part is arranged in position and held securely on the inner container in the axial direction without additional adhesives until desired detachment from the inner container for recycling purposes. However, a further method for separating the overlapping region and the subsequent separation of its outer part and inner container was also intended.

This problem is solved by a sleeve-shaped outer part and a combination packaging container comprising the outer part and an inner container in accordance with the claims.

The sleeve-shaped outer part according to the invention is used for encasing a cup-shaped inner container to form a combination packaging container

    • wherein the inner container has a container jacket configured particularly to taper conically from an open end towards a closed end with a bottom
    • wherein the outer part is formed from a blank cut, said blank cut being wound into a jacket in its raised state, and a first end portion and facing it a second end portion of the jacket are connected to one another in an overlapping region
    • wherein the outer part further has a first end face and a second end face, the two end faces spaced apart from one another, and in the raised state, define a structural height of the jacket with a longitudinal axis extending in the direction of the structural height, wherein the first end face defines a support region in sections at least and, furthermore, the first end face can face the bottom and the second end face the open end of the inner container, and
    • an additional support device is further provided, said additional support device being arranged or formed in the region of the first end face of the outer part formed from the blank cut, and
    • the additional support device defines a clear internal dimension, which is smaller than an inner dimension of the outer part in its undeformed configuration in the region of the first end face.

The resulting advantage is that the support region or support portion already defined by the first end face on the shoulder of the inner container is further improved by the provision or formation of the additional support device. In the undeformed configuration of the bottom end region of the blank cut or of the outer part formed therefrom, the additional support device reduces the clear inner dimension with respect to the undeformed configuration, thereby achieving an even better latching effect on the inner container. Manufacturing inaccuracies caused by tolerance therefore result in no further disadvantages in the stationary positioning of the outer part on the inner container, even without the adhesive point usually applied for securing purposes between the container jacket and the outer part. This creates an outer part that can also be detached more easily from the inner container for disposal.

An advantageous configuration provides that the additional support device comprises at least one support element and the at least one support element defines the clear inner dimension. The at least one support element forms the additional support device and, starting from the undeformed bottom-side edge region or edge portion of the outer part, projects in the direction of the longitudinal axis and forms the reduction of the clear internal dimension.

Furthermore, it can be advantageous for the at least one support element to be moulded into the material of the blank cut starting from an outer surface of the outer part in the direction of an inner surface and projecting in the radial direction beyond the undeformed inner surface in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The material can thus be used directly to form the at least one support element, meaning additional components or component components can thus be dispensed with. No additional material is therefore used, which would otherwise have to be treated separately during separation and disposal.

Another embodiment is characterized in that the at least one support element has a longitudinal extension starting from the first end face in the direction of the second end face. Thus, a defined projection of the at least one support element beyond the inner surface of the blank or outer part can be realised, which forms the enlargement or widening of the bottom-side support region.

A further possible embodiment has the features that a plurality of support elements are provided and the support elements are arranged spaced apart from one another along the first end face in the circumferential direction. As a result, it is possible to achieve an even better supporting effect over the circumference even under changing environmental conditions and/or during handling.

A further configuration provides that the additional support device comprises at least one forming portion, which is moulded into the material of the blank cut starting from an inner surface of the outer part in the direction of an outer surface, the at least one forming portion being arranged at a distance from the first end face. An alignment of the edge portion in the opposite direction can consequently be formed.

Another embodiment is characterized in that the at least one forming portion, viewed in axial section, has a preferably curved longitudinal extension and an end portion adjoining the forming portion in the direction of the first end face oriented so as to be inclined in the direction of the longitudinal axis. This achieves additional stiffening of the bottom-side end portion or peripheral edge region.

A further preferred embodiment is characterized in that the at least one forming portion has a parallel longitudinal extension in relation to the first end face. This achieves uniform configuration of the additional support device projecting in the direction of the inner container.

Furthermore, it can be advantageous for the forming portion to be arranged so as to extend continuously along the first end face in the circumferential direction. This achieves a reliable and uniform supporting effect over the entire circumference, in particular for inner containers with a round cross-sectional shape.

Another alternative embodiment is characterized in that a plurality of forming portions are provided, the forming portions being arranged spaced apart from one another along the first end face in the circumferential direction. This alternative can be used in particular for inner containers with container walls running rectilinearly as seen in cross section, which each have a rounded corner region in transition regions located therebetween. This avoids the undesired formation of folds in the transition regions.

A further configuration intends for an adhesive to be provided in the overlapping region between the two end portions, said adhesive having a first adhesive force value as seen in the circumferential direction and having a second adhesive force value in the radial direction, wherein the first adhesive force value is greater than the second adhesive force value. Cohesion can be formed at a higher level when viewed in the circumferential direction as a result of the differing adhesive force values of the adhesive holding the blank cut together at its end portions facing one another one the one hand, and on the other hand, when force deviating therefrom is applied, this enables a lesser separating effect with reduced adhesive force. This facilitates the separation process of the overlapping region when the outer part is separated from the inner container. If compressive force is exerted in the direction of and on the inner container, this can easily lead to mutual detachment of the two end portions connected to one another, consequently enabling a simple separation process of the outer part from the inner container during disposal.

Another embodiment is characterized in that at least one target separation region is formed or provided in the jacket of the outer part. A further detachment option of the outer part from the inner container is intended by providing the outer part jacket with an individual target separating region. This enables the user or consumer of the combination packaging container to carry out targeted separation thus properly separating the materials in a known manner after consuming the contents.

The invention also relates to a combination packaging container comprising a cup-shaped inner container with a container jacket, a bottom, a flange, an undercut located in the bottom region of the container jacket and a shoulder, as well as a sleeve-shaped outer part configured according to the invention, which at least partially surrounds the inner container on its container jacket.

This creates a combination packaging container, in which an even better and safer hold of the outer part on the inner container is achieved in the axial direction of the direction or side facing away from the open end, meaning that more leeway is provided for manufacturing tolerances related to production.

A further configuration provides that the sleeve-shaped outer part is supported in the axial direction on the shoulder of the inner container by means of its additional support device without using an additional adhesive. Thus, after the combination packaging containers have been used, separating it is even easier and above all safer to separate them into the inner container and the outer part. Even after the separation process of the outer part, the outer part forms a piece that belongs together, which can be fed simply and above all in one piece to the proper disposal and recyclable materials collection. Dispensing with the additional adhesive means a saving and also avoiding possible contamination of the machine when applying the adhesive.

However, the problem of the invention is also solved by a method for separating an outer part from an inner container, which together form the combination packaging container, in that during the separation process, a compressive force—F—directed in the direction of the combination packaging container is applied and in the process the outer part and the container jacket of the combination packaging container are spatially formed and the applied compressive force—F—is at least partially converted by the spatial formation into a separating force, which at least partially separates the overlapping region.

The compressive force—F—applied leads to a spatial deformation of the outer part and also of the container jacket, as a result of which the compressive force—F—is at least partially deflected and converted into a separating force. In this way, the overlapping region of the outer part, which is held together by means of the adhesive, is acted upon by the separating force acting in the radial direction, depending on the orientation of the compressive force—F—. The separating force acting on the overlapping region effects the separating process of at least the overlapping region. This can render searching for and finding the actuating means for the target separation region and the subsequent tearing operation superfluous for the person carrying out separation.

The figures below elaborate on the invention to offer better understanding thereof.

In their present use, the terms “comprising”, “has”, “having”, “includes”, “including”, “contains”, “containing” and any variations thereof are intended to be non-exclusive in nature.

A further term, “optional(ly)” can also be used. This is understood to mean that this method step or plant component is basically present, but is only used depending on the operating conditions, though this does not necessarily have to take place.

The present application is an advancement of WO 2020/245148 A1 of the same applicant, which was already mentioned in the preamble to the description and builds thereupon. In these combination packaging containers, the blank cut, the outer part formed therefrom and the inner container are manufactured separately from one another. After the blank cut has been wound to form the sleeve-shaped outer part, either the outer part is pushed onto the inner container in the axial direction or the inner container is pushed in the axial direction into the outer part, which is held in position for the joining process. EP 0 929 455 B1 describes pushing the outer part onto the inner container in detail. Joining the inner container to the outer part is described in detail in EP 1 463 670 B1. Such an embodiment of the outer lining of a cup or a dish is the subject of the following description.

FIGS. 1 to 4 show a combination packaging container Error! Reference source not found. as an example for a plurality of possible different shapes, the combination packaging containers Error! Reference source not found. being formed in the shape of cups or dishes. The combination packaging container Error! Reference source not found. comprises an inner container Error! Reference source not found. configured in the shape of a cup or dish with a bottom Error! Reference source not found. and a container jacket Error! Reference source not found. Furthermore, the inner container Error! Reference source not found. has an open end Error! Reference source not found. on its side facing away from the bottom Error! Reference source not found., wherein a flange Error! Reference source not found. projecting outward from the container jacket Error! Reference source not found. can be provided in the region of its open end Error! Reference source not found. The bottom Error! Reference source not found. forms a closed end Error! Reference source not found. for the container jacket Error! Reference source not found.

The inner container Error! Reference source not found. is preferably formed by a component produced in a deep-drawing process, which can be produced quickly and above all in a short cycle time. The process of deep-drawing is well known and therefore requires no further explanation. The deep-drawing process is particularly suitable for producing the inner container Error! Reference source not found. with a sufficient wall thickness from a layer of a formable material to be formed by means of a deep-drawing tool, said wall thickness ensures sealing during storage, use and disposal. This manufacturing process enables the production of relatively thin inner container Error! Reference source not found. wall thicknesses. However, the inner container Error! Reference source not found. can also be shaped by means of other manufacturing methods, e.g.: by an injection moulding process

As a result of the cup-shaped or dish-shaped configuration of the inner container Error! Reference source not found., a longitudinal axis Error! Reference source not found. extends in the axial direction between the open end Error! Reference source not found. and the closed end Error! Reference source not found. with the bottom Error! Reference source not found., which can also represent a central axis in a symmetrical configuration. It is possible to arrange or connect a sealing lid (not shown in detail) in the region of the flange Error! Reference source not found. In this case, the flange Error! Reference source not found. forms a sealing flange.

In the axial direction and thus in the direction of the longitudinal axis Error! Reference source not found., the inner container Error! Reference source not found. has a container height Error! Reference source not found. between its open end Error! Reference source not found., in particular the flange Error! Reference source not found., and the bottom Error! Reference source not found., as a result of which the receiving volume of the inner container Error! Reference source not found. is determined as a function of the cross-sectional dimensions. A receiving space of the inner container Error! Reference source not found. is thus defined by the container height Error! Reference source not found. in conjunction with the cross-sectional dimensions.

The container jacket Error! Reference source not found. is understood to be that portion of the inner container Error! Reference source not found., which extends in the predominantly axial direction between the open end Error! Reference source not found., in particular the flange Error! Reference source not found., and the bottom Error! Reference source not found. The inner container Error! Reference source not found. with its container jacket Error! Reference source not found. is preferably configured in such a way that it preferably tapers conically starting from the open end towards the bottom.

Furthermore, the container jacket Error! Reference source not found. of the inner container Error! Reference source not found. can have an undercut Error! Reference source not found. in its circumferential portion adjacent to the bottom Error! Reference source not found. The undercut Error! Reference source not found. is also part of the container jacket Error! Reference source not found., but, viewed in axial section, is arranged offset inwardly with respect to an imagined, rectilinear connecting line between the flange Error! Reference source not found. and the bottom Error! Reference source not found. The undercut Error! Reference source not found. itself has at least two undercut wall portions not described in further detail, the two undercut wall portions having a different inclination or direction with respect to the longitudinal axis Error! Reference source not found., as seen in axial section, than the rest of the container jacket Error! Reference source not found. For this purpose, the undercut Error! Reference source not found. is arranged between the flange Error! Reference source not found. and the bottom Error! Reference source not found. inwardly and thus offset in the direction of the receiving space in relation to the arrangement of the container jacket Error! Reference source not found., which extends in a rectilinear manner as seen in axial section.

Viewed in axial section, the first undercut wall portion directly adjoining the bottom Error! Reference source not found. is arranged or configured to extend predominantly in the direction of the container height Error! Reference source not found. towards the open end Error! Reference source not found. The further undercut wall portion extends in a predominantly vertical direction in relation to the container height Error! Reference source not found., starting from the end of the first undercut wall portion facing away from the bottom Error! Reference source not found., towards the container jacket Error! Reference source not found. In the present embodiment, the further undercut wall portion forms a stacking shoulder. This stacking shoulder serves to support a similar combination packaging container Error! Reference source not found. with its bottom Error! Reference source not found.3Error! Reference source not found., in particular the edge-side transition portion between the bottom Error! Reference source not found.

Furthermore, the inner container Error! Reference source not found. can be provided with a shoulder Error! Reference source not found. or a bead projecting on the side facing away from the longitudinal axis Error! Reference source not found. the immediate transition region between the bottom Error! Reference source not found. and the container jacket Error! Reference source not found., in particular between the bottom Error! Reference so urce not found. and the undercut.

The combination packaging container Error! Reference source not found. further comprises an outer part Error! Reference source not found., which is formed to be cuff shaped or jacket shaped and surrounds the inner container Error! Reference source not found. in the region of its container jacket Error! Reference source not found. at least in portions or regions.

The above-described shoulder Error! Reference source not found. can serve to hold the cuff-shaped outer part Error! Reference source not found. on the inner container Error! Reference source not found., for example. In this case, the sleeve-shaped outer part Error! Reference source not found., with its first end face Error! Reference source not found. facing the bottom Error! Reference source not found. of the inner container Error! Reference source not found., is supported on this shoulder Error! Reference source not found. formed in the transition region. The shoulder Error! Reference source not found. can therefore also be referred to as a latching means for holding the outer part Error! Reference source not found. on the inner container Error! Reference source not found. In its longitudinal extension, the end face Error! Reference source not found. forms an end edge, which, in the joined position, defines a support region and is supported so as to adjoin the shoulder at least in sections. Depending on the radial projection of the shoulder Error! Reference source not found. and the dimension of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. caused by tolerance, an undesired detachment of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. from the inner container Error! Reference source not found. may occur.

The flange Error! Reference source not found. can represent a further latching means in the region of the open end Error! Reference source not found., for example. Furthermore, the sleeve-shaped outer part Error! Reference source not found. comprises a second end face REF BEZZ7495 \r \h \* MERGEFORMAT Error! Reference source not found., which in turn faces the open end Error! Reference source not found. or the flange Error! Reference source not found.

The sleeve-shaped outer part Error! Reference source not found. is preferably formed f rom a cellulose material, such as a cardboard material, with sufficient strength with respect to the absorption and transmission of, in particular, axially acting compressive forces, and is wound from a planar blank cut Error! Reference source not found. to form a jacket, as is already sufficiently known. The blank cut Error! Reference source not found. is usually printed upon in its undeformed planar position and, as required, also provided with an additional coating. A cellulose material is usually used as the material, although this can also be a cardboard or strong paper produced by recycling. If a layer of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. is formed from a recycled material, an additional layer of a higher quality paper can be arranged on or connected to at least one of the surfaces. This additional layer enables perfect printing for the production of decorations, inscriptions and product information.

The sleeve-like or jacket-like outer part Error! Reference source not found. offers an additional reinforcement or stiffening effect of the inner container Error! Reference source not found. and thus of the entire combination packaging container Error! Reference source not found.

This offers high strength and good thermal insulation on the one hand and optimal light protection for the packaging container contents on the other hand.

It can also be particularly provided that the cardboard be additionally coated or sealed with a water-repellent material in the region of the cut edges. This is particularly advantageous if the combination packaging containers Error! Reference source not found. are exposed to high levels of moisture. The coating of the cardboard used for the outer part Error! Reference source not found.12 with a water-repellent layer prevents swelling of the cardboard in a moist environment and ultimately detachment from the container jacket 4 of the combination packaging container.

The sleeve-shaped outer part Error! Reference source not found. is wound from the mostly planar blank cut Error! Reference source not found. to form a jacket. By winding the blank cut, end portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. facing one another are connected to one another in an overlapping region Error! Reference source not found. shown in a simplified manner. This is achieved by what is known as an overlap seam, with which the first end portion Error! Reference source not found. and the second end portion Error! Reference source not found. adhere to one another by means of an adhesive, for example. The winding and the subsequent connection of the two end portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. can take place, for example, with adhesive bonding, as is already sufficiently known from the prior art. Reference is made to EP 0 408 515 B1 as an example here. The first end portion Error! Reference source not found. of the blank cut Error! Reference source not found. ends with a first longitudinal edge Error! Reference source not found. and the second end portion Error! Reference source not found. in turn ends with a second longitudinal edge Error! Reference source not found. In the overlapping region Error! Reference source not found.16Error! Reference source not found., the two longitudinal edges Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. having an overlap width formed therebetween viewed in the circumferential direction.

The outer part Error! Reference source not found. further has the first end face Error! Reference source not found.19Error! Reference source not found. and the second end face Error! Reference source not found.20Error! Reference source not found., the two end faces Error! Reference source not found. of the jacket in the raised state. The above-described longitudinal axis Error! Reference source not found. can also define the common longitudinal axis for the outer part Error! Reference source not found., in particular when the outer part Error! Reference source not found. is in its mounted position on the inner container Error! Reference source not found. The structural height Error! Reference so urce not found. of the jacket is mostly slightly less than the container height Error! Reference source not found. of the inner container Error! Reference source not found. in the same spatial direction; namely in the direction of the longitudinal axis Error! Reference source not found.

A possible, but not mandatory arrangement and/or configuration for the separating the outer part Error! Reference source not found. from the inner container Error! Reference so urce not found. is described in the following. This is what is known as a target separation region Error! Reference source not found., which is arranged and configured in the material or material of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. The following detailed description of the target separation region Error! Reference source not found. corresponds to the configuration as already described in WO 2020/245148 A1. However, the target separation region Error! Reference source not found. could also be configured in a different and deviating manner.

In order to enable a defined separation and a resulting subsequent separate disposal of the inner container Error! Reference source not found. and outer part Error! Reference so urce not found. for a consumer, at least one target separation region Error! Reference source not found. is provided. In this case, the desired separation region Error! Reference source not found. comprises a first separation section Error! Reference source not found., a second separation section Error! Reference source not found. and an actuating means Error! Reference source not found. for starting and beginning the separation process of the desired separation region Error! Reference source not found. along the two separation sections Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. The actuating means Error! Reference source not found. is arranged between the two end faces Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. viewed in the direction of the structural height Error! Reference source not found. of the jacket. In this case, it is advantageous for the actuating means Error! Reference source not found. to be arranged approximately centrally between the two end faces Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. spaced apart from one another in the direction of the structural height Error! Reference source not found.21Error! Reference source not found., this corresponding essentially to half the structural height 21. In regard to the actuating means Error! Reference source not found., the indication “central” refers to half of its size in the direction of the structural height Error! Reference source not found. or the longitudinal axis Error! Reference source not found. The two separating portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. are provided on both sides of the actuating means Error! Reference source not found. and each extend in the direction of the respective end face Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found.

Viewed in the direction of the structural height Error! Reference source not found. of the jacket, the two separating portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. of the target separation region Error! Reference source not found. are each aligned so as to converge from the two end faces Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. and thus define between them an imagined, rectilinear connecting line Error! Reference source not found., the latter being shown in dashed lines. The converging alignment of the two separating portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. is in relation to the direction towards the actuating means Error! Reference source not found. in each case. The two separating portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. can either be aligned with one another as viewed in the direction of the structural height Error! Reference source not found. of the jacket, or they can also extend with at a slight incline with respect to the first longitudinal edge Error! Reference source not found. in the direction of the actuating means Error! Reference source not found. located between them. This slight inclination leads to additional improvements in the separation process after the two separation portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. have been separated up to the two end faces Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference so urce not found.

Depending on the configuration of the target separation regions to be described in more detail below, the imagined connecting line Error! Reference source not found. is assumed to extend in a means of the target separation regions. The actuating means Error! Reference source not found. in turn defines a detection portion Error! Reference source not found. with a first detection portion end Error! Reference source not found. and a second detection portion end Error! Reference source not found. located at a distance from one another in the direction of the structural height Error! Reference source not found. Thus, the two detection portion ends Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found., viewed in the direction of the structural height Error! Reference source not found. of the jacket, are arranged at a distance Error! Reference source not found. from one another or end there. Furthermore, it can also be seen that the detection portion Error! Reference source not found. of the actuating means Error! Reference source not found. is arranged or formed outside the overlapping region Error! Reference source not found.

In this case, an arrangement of the actuating means Error! Reference source not found. is provided, in which the detection portion Error! Reference source not found., viewed in the circumferential direction, is arranged or formed at a distance laterally by an offset Error! Reference source not found. with respect to the separating portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. of the target separation region Error! Reference source not found. and the straight connecting line Error! Reference source not found. imagined therebetween. The offset Error! Reference source not found. can have a value selected from a range of values with a lower limit of 1.0 mm and an upper limit of 10.0 mm. The value range can preferably have a lower limit of 2.0 mm and an upper limit of 6.0 mm.

The first separating portion Error! Reference source not found. itself has a first end REF BEZZ6328 \r \h \* MERGEFORMAT Error! Reference source not found. facing the actuating means Error! Reference source not found., whereas the second separating portion Error! Reference source not found. has a second end Error! Reference source not found. facing the actuating means Error! Reference source not found. In the region of the imagined connecting line Error! Reference source not found. between the two ends Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found., the jacket is configured without interruption due to the provided lateral offset Error! Reference source not found. of the actuating means Error! Reference source not found. The arrangement of the two ends Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. of the separating portions Error! Reference source not found.23Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found.24Error! Reference source not found. spaced apart from one another in the direction of the structural height Error! Reference source not found. with respect to the detection portion Error! Reference source not found. that forms the actuating means Error! Reference source not found. is selected such that the first detection portion end Error! Reference source not found. of the detection portion Error! Reference source not found. overlaps the adjacent first end Error! Reference source not found. As a result of the lateral offset Error! Reference source not found. of the detection portion Error! Reference source not found. on the side facing away from the overlapping region Error! Reference source not found., a first target separation section Error! Reference source not found. is formed, viewed in the circumferential direction, in the jacket of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. between the first detection portion end Error! Reference source not found. and the first end Error! Reference source not found. of the first separation portion Error! Reference source not found.

It is also intended for the second detection portion end Error! Reference source not found. of the detection portion Error! Reference source not found. to overlap the adjacent second end Error! Reference source not found. of the second separation portion Error! Reference source not found. on the side facing away from the first separation portion Error! Reference source not found. Thus analogously to the first target separation region Error! Reference source not found., a second target separation region Error! Reference source not found. is also formed in the jacket of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. between the second detection portion end Error! Reference source not found. and the second end Error! Reference source not found. of the second separation portion Error! Reference source not found. The two target separation portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. are formed by the reduced dimension of the jacket material between the respective detection portion end Error! Reference source not found. or Error! Reference source not found. and the respective end Error! Reference source not found. or Error! Reference source not found. The two ends Error! Reference source not found. and Error! Reference source not found. of the separating portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. are arranged closer to one another than the two detection portion ends Error! Reference source not found. and Error! Reference source not found. spaced apart from one another by the distance Error! Reference source not found.

This makes it possible for a user of the combination packaging container Error! Reference source not found. to detect the actuating means Error! Reference source not found. with its detection portion Error! Reference source not found.27, subsequently to separate the two target separation portions 34Error! Reference source not found. starting from the detection portion Error! Reference source not found. up to the respective ends Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. of the two separating portions Error! Reference source not found.23Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. until the jacket has been completely separated. By doing so, the outer part Error! Reference source not found. can be easily separated from the inner container Error! Reference source not found. and a disposal can take place in a sorted manner. The two target separation portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. each form starting portions for the separation of the two separation portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found.

Each of the two separating sections Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. comprises a plurality of target separation points arranged in series in a row, which are typically configured as perforations, in particular also as short cuts, in the material of the outer part Error! Reference source not found.

This embodiment shows that the shape and position of the target separation points can be selected differently from one another. For this reason, target separation points arranged directly adjacent to the respective detection portion ends Error! Reference source not found., REF BEZZ5994 \r \h \* MERGEFORMAT Error! Reference source not found. are designated first target separation points Error! Reference source not found. The further target separation points provided respectively in the subsequent direction toward one of the two end faces Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. are designated second target separation points Error! Reference source not found. and third target separation points Error! Reference source not found.

The target separation points Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference so urce not found., Error! Reference source not found. are configured and arranged in a mirror-image manner with respect to one another and to a plane Error! Reference source not found.—see FIG. 1—aligned centrally and in normal alignment to the longitudinal axis Error! Reference source not found. Therefore, only those target separation points Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. located in the region of the first separation portion Error! Reference source not found. are described in more detail and should be transferred to the second separation portion Error! Reference source not found. by analogy.

Furthermore, it is also shown in the lower left corner region of the combination packaging container Error! Reference source not found.1 shown in section in FIG. 1 and in the enlarged representation thereof in FIG. 2 that an additional support device 40 is provided or formed in the region or in the portion of the first end face 19 of the blank cut 13Error! Reference source not found. or of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. The additional support device Error! Reference source not found. serves or is configured to ensure that the outer part Error! Reference source not found. is or becomes even more securely supported on the shoulder Error! Reference source not found. of the inner container Error! Reference source not found. in the axial direction until it is detached therefrom. The additional support device Error! Reference source not found. is further configured such that a clear internal dimension of the ready formed outer part Error! Reference source not found. is smaller in relation to the undeformed configuration. The bottom-side end face Error! Reference source not found. of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. already forms or defines the support portion that cooperates with the shoulder Error! Reference source not found., which is further improved, in particular enlarged, and made more secure by the provision or formation of the additional support device Error! Reference source not found.

In this first embodiment shown here, the additional support device Error! Reference source not found. comprises at least one support element Error! Reference source not found.41Error! Reference source not found., but preferably a plurality of support elements Error! Reference source not found. arranged at a distance from one another along the first end face Error! Reference source not found. The individual support elements Error! Reference source not found. are moulded into the material of the blank cut Error! Reference source not found.13Error! Reference source not found. The support elements Error! Reference source not found. are moulded starting from an outer surface Error! Reference source not found. of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. in the direction of an inner surface Error! Reference source not found. and are thus formed. Thus, these project in the radial direction over the undeformed inner surface Error! Reference source not found. in the direction of the longitudinal axis Error! Reference source not found. The projection can have a value from a value range with a lower limit of 0.05 mm, in particular 0.1 mm, and an upper limit of 0.5 mm, in particular 0.2 mm.

A clear inner dimension Error! Reference source not found. of the additional support device Error! Reference source not found. formed by the supporting elements Error! Reference source not found. is thus smaller than an internal dimension Error! Reference source not found. of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. in its undeformed configuration without the supporting elements Error! Reference source not found. By moulding the at least one support element Error! Reference source not found., the first end face Error! Reference source not found. is also formed along its longitudinal extension and thus also forms a support surface for the outer part Error! Reference source not found. on the shoulder Error! Reference source not found. The longitudinal extension can also be formed in the form of a longitudinal corrugation.

The support element Error! Reference source not found.41Error! Reference source not found. or the support elements Error! Reference source not found. have a longitudinal extension starting from the first end face Error! Reference source not found. Thus, the support element Error! Reference source not found.41Error! Reference source not found. or the support elements Error! Reference source not found. The length of the at least one support element Error! Reference source not found. can be, for example, a few millimetres and depends on the size and configuration of the undercut Error! Reference source not found. Possible examples are 2 mm to 15 mm, preferably 5 mm to 10 mm. The cross-sectional shape of the support element Error! Reference source not found.41Error! Reference source not found. is only shown by way of example. Instead of the rather angular cross-sectional shape here, a rounded or arcuate cross-sectional shape would also be conceivable.

In FIG. 4, the blank cut Error! Reference source not found. for forming the outer part REF BEZZ1807 \r \h \* MERGEFORMAT Error! Reference source not found. described above in FIGS. 1 to 3 is shown in its undeformed, planar position, wherein the same reference numerals or component designations as in the preceding FIGS. 1 to 3 are used for identical parts. To avoid unnecessary repetitions, reference is made to the detailed description in preceding FIGS. 1 and 3.

The previously described target separation region Error! Reference source not found. is not shown in detail here, but can also be provided as has already been described above as a possible and optional alternative. Furthermore, the orientation of the individual support elements Error! Reference source not found., starting from the first end face Error! Reference source not found. facing the floor in the direction of the second end face Error! Reference source not found., can be better seen here. Due to the arcuately curved longitudinal extension of the two end faces Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. and their joint centre (centre of the radius), the individual support elements Error! Reference source not found. also have a longitudinal extension oriented towards the centre.

FIGS. 5 and 6 show a further and possibly independent embodiment of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. formed from the blank cut Error! Reference source not found. to form the jacket, again using the same reference numbers or component designations for the same parts as in the preceding FIGS. 1 to 4. To avoid unnecessary repetitions, reference is made to the detailed description in preceding FIGS. 1 and 4

It is worth noting here that it is once again optionally possible to provide or to configure the target separation region Error! Reference source not found. already described in detail above. For the sake of clarity and to avoid unnecessary repetition, the depiction and description of the latter have been dispensed with.

For their part, the blank cut Error! Reference source not found. and the outer part REF BEZZ1807 \r \h \* MERGEFORMAT Error! Reference source not found. formed therefrom comprise the additional support device Error! Reference source not found., which, however, has a different configuration to the embodiment described above. By doing so, the additional support device Error! Reference source not found. for forming the same comprises at least one forming portion Error! Reference source not found., which is also moulded into the material of the blank cut Error! Reference source not found. In contrast to the embodiment described above, the at least one forming portion Error! Reference source not found. is moulded starting from the inner surface Error! Reference source not found. of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. in the direction of its outer surface Error! Reference source not found. Furthermore, the at least one forming portion Error! Reference source not found. is arranged at a distance from the first end face Error! Reference source not found. in the direction of the opposite second end face Error! Reference source not found.

Viewed in axial section, the at least one forming portion Error! Reference source not found. can have a longitudinal extension that is mostly curved outward. An end portion Error! Reference source not found. adjoining the at least one forming portion Error! Reference source not found. is provided in the direction of the first end face Error! Reference source not found. and located thereupon, thereby forming or arranging a corresponding end portion Error! Reference source not found. adjacent to each forming portion Error! Reference so urce not found. The end portion Error! Reference source not found. itself can be oriented so as to be inclined in the direction of the longitudinal axis Error! Reference source not found.

As can now be better seen from FIG. 5, the at least one forming portion Error! Reference source not found. can have a parallel longitudinal extension in relation to the first end face Error! Reference source not found. It is also possible for the forming portion REF BEZZ4471 \r \h \* MERGEFORMAT Error! Reference source not found. to be arranged or configured to extend continuously in the circumferential direction along the first end face Error! Reference source not found. However, independently of this, it would also be conceivable for a plurality of forming portions Error! Reference source not found.46Error! Reference source not found. to be provided, the forming portions Error! Reference source not found.

Deliberate, additional shaping of the blank cut Error! Reference source not found. in the region of its first end face Error! Reference source not found.19Error! Reference source not found. results in the previously described end portion Error! Reference source not found. with the first end face Error! Reference source not found. In the raised position of the blank cut Error! Reference source not found. with respect to the outer part Error! Reference source not found.12Error! Reference source not found., the at least one supporting element Error! Reference source not found. in turn defines the clear inner dimension Error! Reference source not found., which is smaller than an internal dimension Error! Reference source not found. of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. The bottom end of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. is indicated in the undeformed position in dashed lines in FIG. 6.

As a result of configuring and moulding the forming portion Error! Reference source n of found., it may be necessary to configure the undeformed height between the first and second end faces Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. to be somewhat longer in order to subsequently achieve, on the one hand, support on the shoulder Error! Reference source not found. and on the other hand, to be able to cover the container jacket Error! Reference source not found. up to immediately adjacent to up to the flange Error! Reference source not found.

However, it would also be possible to mould the forming portion Error! Reference source not found. from the outer surface Error! Reference source not found. in the direction of the inner surface Error! Reference source not found. and thus forming a type of kink.

To mutually connect the end portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. of the previously planar blank cut Error! Reference source not found. facing one another during formation of the jacket, an adhesive is preferably used in the overlapping region Error! Reference source not found. to be formed. Said adhesive can be applied to one of the end portions Error! Reference source not found. or Error! Reference source not found. or to both as is well known. Separation, disposal and subsequent recycling of the different materials is a significant challenge. The inner container Error! Reference source not found. is mostly formed from a plastic or degradable material, which can be shaped in a thermoforming process. The outer part Error! Reference source not found. is preferably formed from a cellulose material. The blank cut Error! Reference source not found. can further be provided with a printed image on at least one of its flat sides, namely the outer surface Error! Reference source not found. and/or the inner surface Error! Reference source not found.

As the separation process of the outer part Error! Reference source not found. from the inner container Error! Reference source not found. is usually not carried out or is only carried out partially by the consumer, it can further be provided that the adhesive used in the overlapping region Error! Reference source not found. has different adhesive force values r elative to one another depending on the force direction acting thereon, in particular the separation direction, for this purpose.

Viewed in the circumferential direction and thus in respect of tension or shear, the adhesive should have a sufficiently high adhesive force value in order to ensure sufficient mutual hold of the two end portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference so urce not found. to one another under the usual loads.

However, if a compressive force—F—is applied to the combination packaging container Error! Reference source not found. to be separated, the adhesive has a second adhesive force value differing from the first adhesive force value. The first adhesive force value should be greater than the second adhesive force value. The compressive force—F—can be applied to the combination packaging container Error! Reference source not found. in a wide variety of directions and is at least partially converted into a separating force at least partially separating the overlapping region Error! Reference source not found. In this case, the second adhesive force value is exceeded and the two end portions Error! Reference source not found., Error! Reference source not found. first held together by the adhesive detach from one another at least in sections.

Compression can be carried out in the radial direction and/or also in the axial direction in this way, for example. In doing so, the entire combination packaging container Error! Reference source not found. is spatially deformed. In the event of a compressive force—F—in the axial direction, both the outer part Error! Reference source not found. and the container jacket Error! Reference source not found. buckle in the direction of the longitudinal axis Error! Reference source not found. and the separation of the overlapping region Error! Reference source not found. can thus take place or be carried out due to the lower adhesive force value in this direction of force.

By providing or forming the additional support device Error! Reference source not f ound.40Error! Reference source not found. in the edge portion immediately adjacent to the first end face Error! Reference source not found., the sleeve-shaped outer part Error! Reference source not found. can be even better and more securely supported in the axial direction without using an additional adhesive by means of its additional support device Error! Reference source not found. on the shoulder Error! Reference source not found. The adhesive point between the inner surface Error! Reference source not found. of the outer part REF BEZZ1807 \r \h \* MERGEFORMAT Error! Reference source not found. and the container jacket Error! Reference source not found., which was previously additionally attached for safety reasons, can thus be dispensed with and no longer need be provided. Thus, when the overlapping region Error! Reference source not found. is separated with the adhesive used in the process and/or when the target separation region Error! Reference source not found. is separated, an adhesive bond still undesired between the outer part Error! Reference source not found. and the inner container Error! Reference source not found. can be avoided.

Thus, the user of the combination packaging container Error! Reference source not found.1Error! Reference source not found. to the disposal. The separation process of the target separation region Error! Reference source not found. is then carried out mechanically b y a press or a squeezing device during collection and/or during waste disposal.

Furthermore, in order for a person to carry out the separation process, it would also be possible to place the combination packaging container on a supporting surface either with its closed end or with its inner container open end, and subsequently for the compressive force—F—to be applied to the end facing away from the supporting surface in the direction of the supporting surface. Depending on the arrangement and positioning of the combination packaging container, the compressive force can thus easily be applied to the combination packaging container and introduced into it with human force, for example. That arrangement in which the compressive force is applied to the bottom can minimise the risk of injury.

It would also be possible to exert the compressive force—F—onto the combination packaging container in a parallel alignment with respect to a longitudinal axis extending between the open end and the closed end or in an alignment at an angle thereto with respect to the longitudinal axis. Thus, when force is introduced in parallel, the compressive force can simply be deflected into a tearing force acting predominantly in the radial direction for the most part, which causes to the outer part to burst in its overlapping region. Should a deviating force be introduced, the separation of the overlapping region can also be brought about by the spatial deformation.

If the above-described target separation area is also provided, the separation process of the combination packaging container Error! Reference source not found.into its different components can be carried out optionally. This is done either by a person or in the course of the collection and disposal process.

The embodiments show possible design variants, however it is noted at this point that the invention is not restricted to the design variants of the same specifically shown, rather various combinations between the individual design variants are possible and these possible variants can be developed using the knowledge of the person skilled in the art working in this field based on the teachings of technical practice offered by the current invention.

The scope of protection is determined by the claims. However, the description and the drawings are to be referenced for the interpretation of the claims. Individual features or combinations of features from the various embodiments shown and described can represent independent inventive solutions in themselves. The problem to be solved, upon which the independent, inventive solutions are based, can be derived from the description.

All value ranges specified in the current description are to be understood such that they include any and all sub-ranges, e.g. the specification 1 to 10 is to be understood such that all sub-ranges, starting from the lower limit 1 and the upper limit 10 are included, i.e. all sub-ranges begin with a lower limit of 1 or more and end at an upper limit of 10 or less, e.g. 1 to 1.7 or 3.2 to 8.1 or to 5.5 to 10.

As a matter of form and by way of conclusion, it is noted that, to improve understanding of the structure, elements have partially not been shown to scale and/or enlarged and/or shrunk.
