DOWN ROD HANGER SYSTEM FOR CEILING FAN

A down rod hanger system includes a lower seat body, an outer rotating seat, an inner rotating seat, and a down rod. The outer rotating seat is located inside the lower seat body and pivotally connected to the lower seat body, and is rotatable about a first axis. The inner rotating seat is located inside the outer rotating seat and pivotally connected to the outer rotating seat, and is rotatable about a second axis. The first axis is perpendicular to the second axis. A ceiling fan is fixedly connected to the inner rotating seat through the down rod. When the lower seat body is in a fixed state, the ceiling fan is displaced to a vertical suspension position in different angles and directions through its own weight and the down rod that can be rotated about the first axis and the second axis.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a ceiling fan, and more particularly, to a down rod hanger system for a ceiling fan.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In general, a ceiling fan has a ceiling fan body. The top of the ceiling fan body is fixed to a horizontal ceiling through a down rod. When the ceiling fan is to be mounted to a sloping ceiling, the down rod is mounted to the sloping ceiling through a hanger device. The hanger device generally has a track. The down rod can be rotated at a certain angle along a direction on the track of the hanger device, and then adjusted to a vertical suspension position. When the ceiling fan is to be mounted to a sloping ceiling, it is necessary to measure the direction of the track and the inclined direction of the sloping ceiling. When there is an error between the direction of the track and the inclined direction of the sloping ceiling, the ceiling fan may be installed in a non-vertical suspension position. After long-term use, the ceiling fan may produce abnormal noise, abnormal vibration and structural damage.

Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself based on his many years of practical experiences to solve these problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the present invention is to provide a down rod hanger system for a ceiling fan to be displaced to the vertical suspension position in different angles and directions. The down rod hanger system provided by the present invention can be applied to a fixed object with different inclination angles.

In order to achieve the aforesaid object, a down rod hanger system for a ceiling fan is provided. The down rod hanger system comprises a lower seat body, an outer rotating seat, an inner rotating seat, and a down rod. The lower seat body is fixed to the fixed object. The outer rotating seat is disposed inside the lower seat body. The outer rotating seat is pivotally connected to the lower seat body so that the outer rotating seat is rotatable about a first axis. The inner rotating seat is disposed inside the outer rotating seat. The inner rotating seat is pivotally connected to the outer rotating seat so that the inner rotating seat is rotatable about a second axis. The first axis is perpendicular to the second axis. One end of the down rod is fixedly connected to the inner rotating seat. Another end of the down rod extends out of the inner rotating seat and is fixedly connected to a ceiling fan.

When the lower seat body is in a fixed state and the ceiling fan is located under the lower seat body, the outer rotating seat and the inner rotating seat, the ceiling fan is displaced to a vertical suspension position in different angles and directions through its own weight and the down rod in cooperation with the outer rotating seat that is rotatable about the first axis and the inner rotating seat that is rotatable about the second axis. The down rod hanger system provided by the present invention can be applied to a fixed object with different inclination angles.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIGS. 1-6 illustrate an embodiment of the present invention. The present invention discloses a down rod hanger system 100 for a ceiling fan, comprising an upper seat body 10, a plurality of supports 20, a lower seat body 30, an outer rotating seat 40, an inner rotating seat 50, a connecting pipe 60, and a down rod 70.

The upper seat body 10 is fixed to a fixed object 101. The upper seat body 10 has an accommodating space 11 therein for placing a power supply, wireless transmission and reception equipment, etc. The top of the upper seat body 10 has an opening 12 for the power supply line to pass therethrough. In this embodiment of the present invention, the fixed object 101 is a ceiling.

One end of each support 20 is fixedly connected to the upper seat body 10. In this embodiment of the present invention, the supports 20 are rods.

The lower seat body 30 is fixed to the fixed object 101, etc. Specifically, the lower seat body 30 is fixed under the upper seat body 10. The other end of each support 20 is fixedly connected to the lower seat body 30, so that the upper seat body 10 and the lower seat body 30 are spaced apart. The lower seat body 30 is fixed to the fixed object 101 through the supports 20 and the upper seat body 10, The lower seat body 30 has a lower space 31 therein. The lower space 31 of the lower seat body 30 longitudinally passes through the lower seat body 30. The lower seat body 30 has two lower seat body pivot portions 32 arranged radially and oppositely.

The outer rotating seat 40 is disposed inside the lower seat body 30. The outer rotating seat 40 has two first outer pivot portions 41 arranged radially and two second outer pivot portions 42 arranged radially. The outer rotating seat 40 is pivotally connected to the lower seat body 30. Specifically, the first outer pivot portions 41 of the outer rotating seat 40 are pivotally connected to the lower seat body pivot portions 32, so that the outer rotating seat 40 is rotatable about a first axis 43. Specifically, the outer rotating seat 40 is rotatable about the first axis 43 through the lower seat body pivot portions 32 and the first outer pivot portions 41. The first axis 43 is horizontal. The lower seat body pivot portions 32 are one of rotating shafts and shaft holes. The first outer pivot portions 41 are the other one of the rotating shafts and the shaft holes. In this embodiment of the present invention, the lower seat body pivot portions 32 are shaft holes, and the first outer pivot portions 41 are rotating shafts, as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4.

The inner rotating seat 50 is disposed inside the outer rotating seat 40. The inner rotating seat 50 has an inner axial hole 51. The inner rotating seat 50 has two inner pivot portions 52 that are arranged radially. The inner rotating seat 50 is pivotally connected to the outer rotating seat 40. Specifically, the inner pivot portions 52 of the inner rotating seat 50 are pivotally connected to the second outer pivot portions 42, so that the inner rotating seat 50 is rotatable about a second axis 53. Specifically, the inner rotating seat 50 is rotatable about the second axis 53 through the inner pivot portions 52 and the second outer pivot portions 42. The second axis 53 is horizontal. The second outer pivot portions 42 are one of rotating shafts and shaft holes. The inner pivot portions 52 are the other one of the rotating shafts and the shaft holes. In this embodiment of the present invention, the second outer pivot portions 42 are shaft holes, and the inner pivot portions 52 are rotating shafts, as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 5. The first axis 43 is perpendicular to the second axis 53. The outer rotating seat 40 and the inner rotating seat 50 are rotatable in the lower space 31 and at two sides of the lower space 31.

One end of the connecting pipe 60 is connected to the bottom of the upper seat body 10, and the other end of the connecting pipe 60 corresponds to the inner axial hole 51. The opening 12, the accommodating space 11 and the connecting pipe 60 are in communication with each other for electric wires to pass therethrough. The connecting pipe 60 has a slight support force to maintain the wire storage effect.

One end of the down rod 70 is fixedly connected to the inner rotating seat 50, and the other end of the down rod 70 extends out of the inner rotating seat 50 and is fixedly connected to a ceiling fan 102. The down rod 70 is a hollow rod having an inner space therein. The inner axial hole 51 is in communication with the inner space of the down rod 70 so that the electric wires can pass therethrough.

Because the upper seat body 10 and the lower seat body 30 are spaced apart, the upper seat body 10 does not hinder rotation of the outer rotating seat 40 and the inner rotating seat 50.

Because the inner axial hole 51 is disposed inside the inner rotating seat 50, the opening 12 and the accommodating space 11 of the upper seat body 10 are in communication with the connecting pipe 60, and the inner axial hole 51 of the inner rotating seat 50 is in communication with the inner space of the down rod 70, the electric wires can pass therethrough, not affecting rotation of the outer rotating seat 40 and the inner rotating seat 50.

Thereby, when the top of the upper seat body 10 is fixed to the fixed object 101 in an inclined state, the lower seat body 30 is in a fixed state and the ceiling fan 102 is located under the lower seat body 30, the outer rotating seat 40 and the inner rotating seat 50, the ceiling fan 102 can be displaced to the vertical suspension position in different angles and directions through its own weight and the down rod 70 in cooperation with the technical feature that the outer rotating seat 40 is rotatable about the first axis 43 and the technical feature that the inner rotating seat 50 is rotatable about the second axis 53. There is no restriction on displacement in a single direction. The down rod hanger system provided by the present invention can be applied to the fixed object 101 with different inclination angles.

Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.

Claims

1. A down rod hanger system, comprising:

a lower seat body;
an upper seat body, fixed to a fixed object, wherein the lower seat body being fixed under the upper seat body;
a plurality of supports, one end of each of the supports being fixedly connected to the upper seat body, another end of each of the supports being fixedly connected to the lower seat body, the upper seat body and the lower seat body being spaced apart through the supports;
an outer rotating seat, disposed inside the lower seat body, the outer rotating seat being pivotally connected to the lower seat body so that the outer rotating seat is rotatable about a first axis;
an inner rotating seat, disposed inside the outer rotating seat, the inner rotating seat being pivotally connected to the outer rotating seat so that the inner rotating seat is rotatable about a second axis, the first axis being perpendicular to the second axis; and
a down rod, one end of the down rod being fixedly connected to the inner rotating seat, another end of the down rod extending out of the inner rotating seat and being fixedly connected to a ceiling fan;
wherein when the lower seat body is in a fixed state and the ceiling fan is located under the lower seat body, the outer rotating seat and the inner rotating seat, the ceiling fan is displaced to a vertical suspension position through an own weight of the ceiling fan and the down rod in cooperation with the outer rotating seat that is rotatable about the first axis and the inner rotating seat that is rotatable about the second axis,
wherein the lower seat body has a lower space therein, the lower seat body has two lower seat body pivot portions arranged radially and oppositely, the outer rotating seat has two first outer pivot portions arranges radially and two second outer pivot portions arranged radially, the first outer pivot portions of the outer rotating seat are pivotally connected to the lower sear body pivot portions, and the outer rotating seat is rotatable about the first axis through the lower seat body pivot portions and the first out pivot portions, wherein the inner rotating seat has two inner pivot portions arranged radially, the inner pivot portions of the inner rotating seat are pivotally connected to the second outer pivot portions, and the inner rotating seat is rotatable about the second axis through the inner pivot portions and the second outer pivot portions,
wherein the lower space of the lower seat body longitudinally passing through the lower seat body, the outer rotating seat and the inner rotating seat behind rotatable in the lower space at two sides of the lower space, wherein a top of the upper seat body has an opening, the inner rotating seat has an inner axial hole, the down rod is a hollow rod, the down rod hanger system further comprises a connecting pipe, one end of the connecting pipe is connected to a bottom of the upper seat body, another end of the connecting pipe corresponds to the inner axial hole, the opening, the accommodating space and the connecting pipe are in communication with each other for electric wires to pass therethrough, and the inner axial hole is in communication with the down rod for electric wires to pass therethrough, wherein the lower seat body pivot portions are one of rotating shafts and shaft holes, and the first outer pivot portions are the other one of the rotating shafts and the shaft holes, wherein the second outer pivot portions are one of rotating shafts and shaft holes, and the inner pivot portions are the other one of the rotating shafts and the shaft holes.

5. The down rod hanger system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the upper seat body has an accommodating space therein for placing a power supply, wireless transmission and reception equipment.

7. The down rod hanger system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lower seat body pivot portions are shaft holes, and the first outer pivot portions are rotating shafts, wherein the second outer pivot portions are shaft holes, and the inner pivot portions are rotating shafts.

8. A down rod hanger system, comprising:

a lower seat body, having a lower space that longitudinally passes through the lower seat body and two lower seat body pivot portions arranged radially and oppositely;
an upper seat body, fixed to a fixed object, wherein the lower seat body being fixed under the upper seat body;
an outer rotating seat, having two first outer pivot portions arranged radially and oppositely and two second outer pivot portions arranged radially and oppositely;
an inner rotating seat, having an inner axial hole disposed therein, and two inner pivot portions arranged radially and oppositely, wherein the outer rotating seat is disposed inside the lower space of the lower seat body, and the two first outer pivot portions of the outer rotating seat are pivotally connected to the two lower seat body pivot portions of the lower seat body, so that the outer rotating seat is rotatable about a first axis, wherein the inner rotating seat is disposed inside the outer rotating seat, and the two inner pivot portions of the inner rotating seat are pivotally connected to the two second outer pivot portions of the outer rotating seat, so that the inner rotating seat is rotatable about a second axis, wherein the lower seat body pivot portions are one of rotating shafts and shaft holes, and the first outer pivot portions are the other one of the rotating shafts and the shaft holes, wherein the second outer pivot portions are one of rotating shafts and shaft holes, and the inner pivot portions are the other one of the rotating shafts and the shaft holes; and
a down rod, one end of the down rod being fixedly connected to the inner rotating seat, and another end of the down rod extending out of the inner rotating seat and being fixedly connected to a ceiling fan, wherein the inner axial hole of the inner rotating seat is in communication with the inner space of the down rod so that the electric wires pass therethrough without being affected by the rotation of the outer rotating seat and the inner rotating seat.

9. The down rod hanger system as claimed in claim 8, wherein the upper seat body has an accommodating space therein for placing a power supply, wireless transmission and reception equipment.

10. The down rod hanger system as claimed in claim 9, further comprising a plurality of supports, one end of each of the supports being fixedly connected to the upper seat body, another end of each of the supports being fixedly connected to the lower seat body, the upper seat body and the lower seat body being spaced apart through the supports, the lower space of the lower seat body longitudinally passing through the lower seat body, the outer rotating seat and the inner rotating seat being rotatable in the lower space and at two sides of the lower space.

The down rod hanger system as claimed in claim 10, wherein a top of the upper seat body has an opening, the down rod is a hollow rod, and the down rod hanger system further comprises a connecting pipe, wherein one end of the connecting pipe is connected to a bottom of the upper seat body, and another end of the connecting pipe corresponds to the inner axial hole, wherein the opening, the accommodating space and the connecting pipe are in communication with each other for electric wires to pass therethrough.
