Abstract

Disclosed herein are apparatuses for facilitating intimate activity, which comprise benches with adjustable heights and back supports with adjustable angles, that may be folded flat for concealed storage when not in use, thereby protecting the privacy of its users. Optionally, the disclosed apparatuses for facilitating intimate activity further comprise handles, hooks, interchangeable seats, and knee supports.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention is in the technical field of apparatuses for supporting a human body. More particularly, the preferred embodiments of the present invention relate generally to apparatuses for supporting a human body during an intimate activity. More particularly, the preferred embodiments of the present invention relate generally to apparatuses for supporting a human body during an intimate activity with adjustable configurations. More particularly, the preferred embodiments of the present invention relate generally to apparatuses for supporting a human body during an intimate activity with adjustable configurations, which are capable of collapsing flat for storage.

2. Description of the Related Art

The broad concept of benches is known. However, most of these inventions are simple platforms for sitting or lying down.

Folding or collapsible benches are also known. However, these inventions usually do not facilitate additional positions, may not be lightweight for easy portability, and may not provide sufficient support for intimate activity when unfolded.

Benches with adjustable height are also known. However, these inventions usually do not accommodate additional positions and may not provide sufficient support for intimate activity.

Also, benches with adjustable backrests are known. However, these inventions are not usually suitably reinforced to allow for intimate activity.

Additionally, benches with handles and/or hooks are known. However, these inventions are not usually well tailored to support accessories for intimate activity, such as towels or straps.

Further, benches with scissor mechanisms are also known. However, these inventions are not usually braced sufficiently to handle intimate activity.

Moreover, benches for intimate activity are also known. However, theses inventions are usually heavy and cumbersome and not capable of folding flat for convenient storage, such as under a bed or couch, and do not protect the privacy of the users.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Intimate activity in human relationships often involves sexual intercourse, which may include different positions and physical arrangements for the participants; however, difficulties may arise if the parties have different sized bodies or heights or are unable to maintain comfortable positions due to their surroundings during the activity. For instance, available furniture, such as beds or chairs, may not accommodate natural positions or facilitate comfortable posture during sexual activity. Furthermore, some furniture may not be substantial enough to endure the motions and forces associated with intimate activity. In addition, furniture designed to facilitate intimate activity must be easily concealed when not in use to preserve the privacy of its users. To be easily concealed, such furniture for intimate activity must be lightweight for easy portability while being strong enough to withstand the forces and motions associated with intimate activities. Thus, there is a need for furniture, which can support people with a wide variety of body forms during intimate activity, which is capable of attaining different heights and angles in order to accommodate different body sizes in various positions, and which may be easily concealed when not in use in order to protect the privacy of its users.

The Foldable Bench for Intimate Activity invention was developed in part to overcome the problems involved in intimate activity between people with different body sizes, as well as provide an apparatus that may be easily concealed when not in use. In broad embodiment, the Foldable Bench for Intimate Activity invention is an apparatus for facilitating intimate activity, which comprises a bench with adjustable height and back support with adjustable angles that may be folded flat when not in use. In more detail, a preferred embodiment of the Foldable Bench for Intimate Activity invention comprises an apparatus for facilitating intimate activity, said apparatus comprising: a foundation, said foundation comprising: a top, a base, and a support structure, said support structure comprising: a scissor mechanism extending between said top and said base, being collapsible, and capable of attaining a plurality of heights; a seat platform, said seat platform being connected to said top of said foundation and being detachable and interchangeable with different sizes seats, said seat platform comprising: a plurality of seat handles, which may receive towels or straps; a back platform, said back platform being connected to said top of said foundation with a hinge and capable of attaining a plurality of angles relative to said top of said foundation, said back platform comprising: a plurality of torso handles, which may receive towels or straps; wherein said apparatus is lightweight for ease of mobility; wherein said apparatus is capable of attaining a variety of positions by adjusting said height of said support structure and/or said angle of said back support platform; and wherein said apparatus is capable of folding substantially flat for storage. In some preferred embodiments, the detachable and interchangeable seat may further comprise seats with mounted toys in order to facilitate a variety of intimate activities. Other preferred embodiments may further comprise a plurality of hooks on the seats and/or back platform for receiving and securing towels or straps.

In more detail still, the preferred embodiment of the Foldable Bench for Intimate Activity invention comprises a platform, said platform comprising: a plurality of handles; a backrest, said backrest being connected to said platform with one or more backrest hinges and capable of attaining a plurality of angles relative to said platform, said backrest comprising: a plurality of supports points; a backrest support bar, said backrest support bar being connected to said platform with a support hinge and capable of supporting said backrest at a plurality of angles relative to said platform by bracing against said support points of said backrest; an interchangeable seat, said interchangeable seat being detachably connected to said platform; a base, said base comprising: two square tubes, said square tubes being parallel to each other; two outer cross bars, said outer cross bars rigidly extending between said square tubes; and a plurality of inner cross bars, said inner cross bars being parallel to each other and rigidly extending between said square tubes; and a support structure, said support structure extending between said platform and said base, being collapsible, and capable of attaining a plurality of heights, said support structure comprising: two inner support legs, said inner support legs being parallel to each other, each inner support leg being rotatably connected to said platform by platform inner pivot points and capable of being braced by said plurality of inner cross bars in order to attain different heights; and two outer support legs, said outer support legs being parallel to each other, each said outer support leg being rotatably connected to said platform by platform outer pivot points and rotatably connected to said base by base pivot point; wherein said inner support legs and said outer support legs are rotatably connected by a center pivot point; wherein said apparatus is lightweight for ease of mobility; wherein different heights are attained by bracing said inner support legs against different inner cross bars, thereby adjusting said height of said support structure; wherein said angle of said backrest is adjusted by bracing said a backrest support bar against different support points; and wherein said apparatus is capable of folding substantially flat for storage by bracing said inner support legs against one of said outer cross bars. In some versions, the detachable and interchangeable seat may further comprise seats with mounted toys in order to facilitate a variety of intimate activities. Additional versions may provide for locking different configurations in place in order to sustain the forces and motions of intimate activities. Other versions may further comprise a plurality of hooks on the seats and/or back platform for receiving and securing towels or straps.

In more detail still, referring now to the most preferred embodiment, the Foldable Bench for Intimate Activity invention comprises: a platform, said platform comprising: a platform base, said platform base comprising: a plurality of platform attachment points, platform inner pivot points, and folded attachment points; a backrest, said backrest being connected to said platform with one or more backrest hinges and capable of attaining a plurality of angles relative to said platform and locking into place, said backrest comprising: a backrest base, a hinge spring lock, and a plurality of handles, said handles depending from said backrest base; an interchangeable seat, said interchangeable seat comprising an interchangeable seat base, said interchangeable seat base being detachably connected to said platform; a plurality of knee supports, each said knee support comprising: a knee support pad and a knee support bar, which detachably connects to said platform; an inner base foot; an outer base foot; a support structure, said support structure extending below said platform, being collapsible, and being capable of attaining a plurality of heights, said support structure comprising: two inner support legs, said inner support legs being parallel to each other and depending from said inner base foot, each inner support leg being rotatably connected to said platform by platform inner pivot points; and two outer support legs, said outer support legs being parallel to each other and depending from said outer base foot, each said outer support leg being rotatably connectable to said platform at one of said platform attachment points or said folded attachment points, depending on desired height; wherein said inner support legs and said outer support legs are rotatably connected by center pivot points; wherein said apparatus is for ease of mobility; wherein different heights are attained by connecting said outer support legs to different said platform attachment points, thereby adjusting said height of said support structure; wherein said angle of said backrest is set using said hinge spring lock; and wherein said apparatus is capable of folding substantially flat for storage by attaching said outer support legs to said folded attachment points. During use, the apparatus is unfolded from a flat position by detaching said outer support legs from said folded attachment points of said platform, and said platform is set at a desired height by attaching said outer support legs to one of said platform attachment points, which firmly hold the support structure in place in order to endure the forces and motions of intimate activities. Next, the backrest is set at a preferred angle and held in place by said hinge spring lock, which firmly supports the backrest in order to endure the forces and motions of intimate activities. At the conclusion of the intimate activities, the apparatus is returned to the flat position and is capable of being stored under a bed or couch or against a wall in a closet, where it may be concealed in a manner that protects the users' privacy. In some versions, the detachable and interchangeable seat may further comprise seats with mounted toys in order to facilitate a variety of intimate activities. Some versions may not have the knee supports. Additional versions may provide for locking different configurations in place in order to sustain the forces and motions of intimate activities. Other versions may further comprise a plurality of hooks on the seats and/or back platform for receiving and securing towels or straps. In sum, the Foldable Bench for Intimate Activity invention provides a useful convenient means for facilitating intimate activity while protecting privacy.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

For the purpose of illustration, the present invention is shown in the preferred embodiment of a Foldable Bench for Intimate Activity invention with an interchangeable seat, and in the most preferred embodiment of a Lightweight Foldable Bench for Intimate Activity with removable knee supports. An additional embodiment shows a Foldable Bench for Intimate Activity invention with a wider interchangeable seat. These embodiments are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.

Referring now to a preferred embodiment of the invention, in FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 3, FIG. 4, FIG. 5, FIG. 6, FIG. 7, and FIG. 8, a Foldable Bench for Intimate Activity invention is shown. During use, the apparatus is unfolded from a flat position (as shown in FIG. 4), and platform 1 is set at a desired height by bracing the inner support legs 3A against one of the inner cross bars 2D, which firmly hold the support structure 3 in place in order to endure the forces and motions of intimate activities. Next, the backrest 1A is set at a preferred angle and held in place by one or more backrest support bars 1B, which firmly support the backrest 1A in order to endure the forces and motions of intimate activities. At the conclusion of the intimate activities, the apparatus is returned to the flat position shown in FIG. 4 and is capable of being stored under a bed or couch or against a wall in a closet, where it may be concealed in a manner that protects the users' privacy.

In further detail, referring still to the preferred embodiment of the invention in FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 3, FIG. 4, FIG. 5, FIG. 6, FIG. 7, and FIG. 8, FIG. 8 shows a wide interchangeable seat 1G, which is a larger size than the interchangeable seat 1C shown in FIG. 1-7. The interchangeable seat 1C is detachable, and in FIG. 8 the interchangeable seat 1C has been detached and replaced by the wide interchangeable seat 1G. Alternatively, seats with toys (not shown in the figures) for facilitating various intimate activities may replace said interchangeable seat 1C.

The construction details of the invention as shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 3, FIG. 4, FIG. 5, FIG. 6, FIG. 7, and FIG. 8, are as follows. The platform 1 comprises a strong rigid material, such as plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The handles 1E comprise a strong rigid material, such as plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The backrest 1A comprises upholstery, cotton, polyester, plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The backrest support bar 1B comprises a strong, rigid material, such as plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The backrest hinges 1H comprises plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The support hinges 1K comprises plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The base 2 comprises a strong, rigid material, such as plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The square tubes 2A comprises a strong, rigid material, such as plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The outer crossbars 2B comprises a strong, rigid material, such as plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The construction details of the invention as shown in FIG. 9, FIG. 10, and FIG. 11, are as follows. The lightweight platform 10 comprises a strong rigid material, such as plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The lightweight platform base 10D comprises a strong rigid material, such as plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The lightweight platform attachment points 10E comprise holes or connection points for receiving nuts and bolts, screws, washers, locks, pins, or the like, made out of a strong, rigid material, such as plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The folded attachment points 10K comprise holes or connection points for receiving bolts, screws, locks, pins, or the like. The lightweight handles 10F comprise a strong rigid material, such as plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The lightweight backrest 10A comprises upholstery, cotton, polyester, plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The lightweight backrest base 10B comprises a strong rigid material, such as plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The lightweight backrest hinges 10H comprise plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The hinge spring lock 10J comprises a spring and a locking mechanism comprising a strong rigid material, such as plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, or the like. The lightweight interchangeable seat 10C comprises upholstery, cotton, polyester, plastic, PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, metal, steel, aluminum, metal alloy, wood, ceramic, carbon fiber, composite material, toys, or the like. In broad embodiment, the present invention relates generally to an apparatus for facilitating intimate activity, which comprises a bench with adjustable height and a back support with adjustable angels that may be folded flat when not in use.

Claims

1. An apparatus for facilitating intimate activity, said apparatus comprising:

a platform, said platform comprising: a platform base, said platform base comprising: a plurality of platform attachment points, platform inner pivot points, and folded attachment points; one or more backrest hinges; a backrest, said backrest being connected to said platform with said one or more backrest hinges and capable of attaining a plurality of angles relative to said platform and locking into place, said backrest comprising: a backrest base, a hinge spring lock, and a plurality of handles, said handles depending from said backrest base; and an interchangeable seat, said interchangeable seat comprising: an interchangeable seat base, said interchangeable seat base being detachably connected to said platform;

an inner base foot;

an outer base foot; and

a support structure, said support structure extending below said platform, being collapsible, and being capable of attaining a plurality of heights, said support structure comprising: two inner support legs, said inner support legs being parallel to each other and depending from said inner base foot, each inner support leg being rotatably connected to said platform by said platform inner pivot points; and two outer support legs, said outer support legs being parallel to each other and depending from said outer base foot, each said outer support leg being rotatably connectable to said platform at one of said platform attachment points or said folded attachment points in order to attain different heights;

wherein said inner support legs and said outer support legs are rotatably connected by center pivot points;

wherein said apparatus is lightweight for ease of mobility;

wherein different heights are attained by connecting said outer support legs to different said platform attachment points, thereby adjusting said height of said support structure;

wherein said angle of said backrest is set using said hinge spring lock; and

wherein said apparatus is capable of folding substantially flat for storage by attaching said outer support legs to said folded attachment points.

2. An apparatus of claim 1, said interchangeable seat further comprising:

one or more sex toys.

3. An apparatus of claim 1, wherein said interchangeable seat further comprises:

different sizes.

4. An apparatus of claim 1, wherein said interchangeable seat further comprises:

hooks.

5. An apparatus of claim 1, wherein said platform further comprises:

a plurality of knee supports, each said knee support comprising: a knee support pad and a knee support bar, which detachably connects to said platform.

6. An apparatus for facilitating intimate activity, said apparatus comprising:

a platform, said platform comprising: a plurality of handles;

a backrest, said backrest being connected to said platform with one or more backrest hinges and capable of attaining a plurality of angles relative to said platform, said backrest comprising: a plurality of supports points;

a backrest support bar, said backrest support bar being connected to said platform with a support hinge and capable of supporting said backrest at a plurality of angles relative to said platform by bracing against said support points of said backrest;

an interchangeable seat, said interchangeable seat being detachably connected to said platform;

a base, said base comprising: two square tubes, said square tubes being parallel to each other; two outer cross bars, said outer cross bars rigidly extending between said square tubes; and a plurality of inner cross bars, said inner cross bars being parallel to each other and rigidly extending between said square tubes; and

a support structure, said support structure extending between said platform and said base, being collapsible, and capable of attaining a plurality of heights, said support structure comprising: two inner support legs, said inner support legs being parallel to each other, each inner support leg being rotatably connected to said platform by platform inner pivot points and capable of being braced by said plurality of inner cross bars in order to attain different heights; and two outer support legs, said outer support legs being parallel to each other, each said outer support leg 3B being rotatably connected to said platform by platform outer pivot points and rotatably connected to said base by base pivot point; wherein said inner support legs and said outer support legs are rotatably connected by a center pivot point;

wherein said apparatus is lightweight for ease of mobility;

wherein different heights are attained by bracing said inner support legs against different inner cross bars, thereby adjusting said height of said support structure;

wherein said angle of said backrest is adjusted by bracing said a backrest support bar against different support points; and

wherein said apparatus is capable of folding substantially flat for storage by bracing said inner support legs against one of said outer cross bars.

7. An apparatus of claim 5, said interchangeable seat further comprising:

one or more sex toys.

8. An apparatus of claim 5, wherein said interchangeable seat further comprises:

different sizes.
