CROSS REFERENCE

The present application claims priority to Korean Patent Application No. 10-2022-0158743, filed Nov. 23, 2022, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein for all purposes by this reference.

BACKGROUND

The present disclosure relates to a hair brush. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a hair brush having a structure of modular brush bristle modules capable of increasing manufacturing productivity of the hair brush by being provided with a body that is a component configuring the hair brush and with a brush bristle module unit that is for providing convenience in an assembling process.

Generally, various types of apparatuses are used for styling the hair. Among the apparatuses, brushes are the most typical, and paddle brushes and round brushes have been developed and used as they were intended.

Conventional round brushes are constituted of a cylindrical brush body and a handle which is integrally molded to a lower end portion of the brush body so that a user is capable of gripping the round brush.

In addition, round brushes are divided into brushes with straight brush bristles inserted into a cylindrical body, and brushes with multiple brush bristles inserted in to the cylindrical body in a widened form.

Such a round brush is proposed in Korean Patent Application Publication No. 10-2008-0039600 (invention title: HAIR BRUSH).

In addition, “ROLL BRUSH” is disclosed in Korean Patent No. 10-2078003 that is filed and registered by the inventor of the present specification. In Korean Patent No. 10-2078003, since a lower end side of a body having brush teeth that protrude is fixed in a shape surrounding an upper end cylindrical member, an effect that can prevent the user's hair from getting caught when the brush is used may be provided and a soft feeling of use when the brush is used may be provided. Furthermore, adhesives are filled in mounting grooves, the mounting grooves positioned in an upper end cap to which upper and lower ends of a brush teeth supporting member having a twisted wire shape fixing the brush teeth, and the mounting grooves positioned in a center of the cylindrical member of a handle part. Therefore, a sense of stability during use and a sensuous wavy hair styling effect for the user may be maximized due to the complete prevention of horizontal movements of the brush teeth supporting member when the brush is used, so that product satisfaction and reliability may be improved.

In contrast to the roll brush as described above, a conventional paddle type brush is disclosed in Korean Utility Model Publication No. 20-2010-0000290. The conventional paddle type brush includes a body having a handle, a plurality of fixing holes formed in a first surface of a second end of the body, a pad having a rubber material and having one air hole, and a plurality of brush teeth having respective first ends provided to be inserted into and provided on the fixing hole of the pad.

In such a conventional type brush, since the plurality of brush teeth is press-fitted and fixed one by one in the body portion having the handle and the pad that has the air hole during a manufacturing process, there is a problem that a considerable amount of time in a production process is required and production efficiency is reduced.

In addition, in a conventional brush having a conventional paddle shape in which a plurality of brush teeth and so on are press-fitted, there are problems in use of the brush such as loss of the brush teeth, and also the life cycle of use of the brush is short. Furthermore, there are many cases in which dead skin cells generated from the scalp or the hair falling out from the scalp and so on are fixed to surfaces of the brush teeth or are remain entangled, so that unsanitary problems may occur.

Furthermore, as it can be seen in the drawing, the bent protrusions 232 integrally provided on the end portion sides of the extension protrusions 231 are bent perpendicularly from the end portions of the extension protrusions 231, so that a structure in which bent protrusions 232 are caught on vertical walls 124 that are naturally formed between the coupling grooves 121.

The fixing covers 300 are configured to cover the brush bristle module units 200 and to be coupled to the fixing supports 120 of the body 100.

Such fixing covers 300 serve to fix a state in which the brush bristle module units 200 are coupled to the fixing supports 120 while the fixing covers 300 are coupled to the fixing supports 120.

As illustrated in FIGS. 1, 3, and 4, the fixing covers 300 have same lengths corresponding to lengths of the fixing supports 120, have insertion members 310 which have cylindrical shapes and which protrude toward lower surface sides of the fixing covers 300 at equal intervals, and have fixing cover coupling grooves 320 which are open downwardly along inner side surfaces of the fixing covers 300 at equal intervals.

As the insertion members 310 are inserted into the coupling holes 123 of the cylindrical coupling bodies 122 provided on the fixing supports 120 of the body 100, the brush bristle module units 200 that are fitted into the coupling groove 121 of the fixing supports 120 by a structure coupled to the fixing supports 120 are completely fixed.

As the fixing covers 300 are coupled to the fixing supports 120, the fixing cover coupling grooves 320 cover and couple upper surface sides of the extension protrusions 231 that constitute the couplers 230 of the brush bristle module units 200.

By the fixing covers 300 having structures as described above, a firmly fixed state of the insertion members 310 and the fixing supports 120 by the coupling holes 123 may be secured in a shape in which the couplers 230 provided on the opposite end sides of the brush bristle module units 200 are gripped by the coupling grooves 121 provided on the fixing supports 120 of the body and by the fixing cover coupling grooves 320 of the fixing covers 300.

By the present disclosure having the structure as described above, the body 100, the brush bristle module units 200, and the fixing covers 300 as semi products in each fittings shape are obtained by injection molding.

The semi products obtained as described above may be assembled by a worker or may be supplied and assembled through an automated robot assembly line and so on, so that the hair brush 1 as a finished product may be obtained.

In describing an assembling process briefly, the brush bristle module units 200 are sequentially supplied toward the fixing supports 120 of the body 100 that is supplied, and the couplers 230 positioned at the opposite end portion sides of the brush bristle module units 200 are accommodated in and coupled to the coupling grooves 121 that are positioned on the fixing supports 120 of the body 100.

In this manner, the brush bristle module units 200 fill the space between the pair of fixing supports 120 that are spread toward the opposite sides of the body 100, and the plurality of brush bristle module units 200 may be coupled to the fixing supports 120 according to the process as described above.

The upper surface sides of the fixing supports 120 are covered by the fixing covers 300 in order to fix the brush bristle module units 200 which fill the space between the fixing supports 120 and which are coupled to the fixing supports 120, and the brush bristle module units 200 are fixed and coupled, thereby being capable of obtaining the finished hair brush 1.

The hair brush 1 coupled as described above has a detachable structure unlike a conventional hair brush. Therefore, when brush bristles are damaged due to carelessness in use, the brush bristle module units 200 may be replaced and used, so that life cycle of use of the hair brush 1 may be increased.

In addition, during an assembling process for obtaining the hair brush 1 by using the present disclosure, defective rate of the hair brush 1 that is the finished product may be significantly reduced by performing a selection process of defective units among the brush bristle module units 200.

In addition, in the present disclosure, brush bristles of the brush bristle module units 200 may be formed in different colors, or the entire brush bristle module units 200 may be formed in different colors.

For example, when the brush bristle module units 200 are coupled to the fixing supports 120 of the body 100 and when the brush bristle module units 200 are arranged and coupled so that the brush bristle module units 200 have different colors in each cluster unit, various colors of brush bristles may be produced so as to realize customer value.
