Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to a workplace safety, more specifically but not by way of limitation, a safety glove to be utilized in various industrial environments wherein the safety glove of the present invention incorporates permanent and interchangeable safety messages to remind users of safety protocols and potential hazards.

BACKGROUND

Workplace safety on work sites is extremely critical as tens of thousands of workplace accidents occur every year. Large construction and industrial sites have a multitude of employees in complex environments and daily safety is a key message to all the employees. It is common in these environments to conduct daily safety meetings to address key safety problems. Worksite safety messages are often ignored or easily forgotten after the safety meeting or once on the job site where there is limited space to put up expensive safety reminder signage. Expensive safety signs, videos and messages cannot be easily transported to the job site or even be placed in the most used areas to remind workers of hazards.

While there are legal requirements for workplace safety briefings, meetings and signage, the number of accidents that occur particularly in construction and industrial environments are numerous. These environments are often loud and workers will get focused on a particular task to a point where they often forget about safety protocols. There exists a need for a safety glove configured to provide a user a visual reminder to adhere to safety protocols in order to reduce workplace accidents. Having a safety slogan integrated into safety serves as a constant visual reminder to the worker about safety and job hazards during the entirety of their work day. Furthermore, an ability to be able to change the message or provide a transmitted alert to the wearer of the safety glove would further provide reductions in workplace accidents.

It is intended within the scope of the present invention to provide a safety glove to be utilized by a worker wherein the safety glove is configured to provide at least two safety messages wherein one of the message areas is configured to be either permanent or interchangeable and the second message area provides an electronically delivered message.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is the object of the present invention to provide a safety glove that is configured to remind a wearer of safety protocols wherein the safety glove of the present invention includes a body configured to receive a hand therein wherein the body is similar to a conventional glove having finger members, palm section and a cuff member.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a glove to be utilized in the workplace and provide a plurality of safety messages to the user wherein the exterior surface of the body includes a plurality of message areas.

A further object of the present invention is to provide a safety glove that is configured to remind a wearer of safety protocols wherein the plurality of message areas are present on both sides of the body of the glove.

Still another object of the present invention is to provide a glove to be utilized in the workplace and provide a plurality of safety messages to the user wherein at least one of the message areas includes a safety message that is permanent.

An additional object of the present invention is to provide a safety glove that is configured to remind a wearer of safety protocols wherein at least one of the message areas includes an electronic panel that is configured to display a message either programmed into or transmitted to the glove.

Yet a further object of the present invention is to provide a glove to be utilized in the workplace and provide a plurality of safety messages to the user wherein at least one of the message areas is configured to have safety messages releasably secured thereto utilizing hook and loop or other similar material.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a safety glove that is configured to remind a wearer of safety protocols wherein body of the glove includes embedded therein a transceiver and a power supply.

To the accomplishment of the above and related objects the present invention may be embodied in the form illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Attention is called to the fact that the drawings are illustrative only. Variations are contemplated as being a part of the present invention, limited only by the scope of the claims.
