BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAn embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a cup that is elongated along a lengthwise axis of the cup. The cup can be positioned over a user's vagina to protecting the user's vagina while the user is performing pubic hair removal. The cup is comprised of a fluid impermeable material to protect the user's vagina from pubic hair removal chemicals. The cup has a plurality of pleats integrated into the cup and the plurality of pleats is collapsible or expandable. In this way the cup can either be lengthened or shortened for accommodating a variety of sizes of vaginas.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
The cup 12 has an outer wall 20 and a perimeter edge 22 and the outer wall 20 has a first lateral side 24 and a second lateral side 26. Each of the first lateral side 24 and the second lateral side 26 intersects each other at a ridge 28 and the ridge 28 is elongated along a first end 30 and a second end 32 of the ridge 28. The first lateral side 24 and the second lateral side 26 each slope downwardly from the ridge 28 in opposing directions from each other. In this way the cup 12 has a triangular shape when viewed along the ridge 28. The perimeter edge 22 has a primary side 34 and a secondary side 36; the primary side 34 is associated with the first lateral side 24 and the secondary side 36 is associated with the second lateral side 26. The primary side 34 and the secondary side 36 intersect each other at the first end 30 and the second end 32 of the ridge 28 having each of the primary side 34 and the secondary side 36 curving outwardly from the ridge 28. Thus, the cup 12 has an ovoid shape when viewed along a perpendicular axis with respect to the ridge 28 thereby facilitating the cup 12 to conform to the shape of the user's vagina 14.
The primary side 34 and the secondary side 36 each curves toward the ridge 28 between the first end 30 and the second end 32 of the ridge 28. In this way the cup 12 is structured to conform to curvature of the user's crotch 38 when the cup 12 is positioned over the user's vagina 14. Each of the plurality of pleats 18 is integrated into the outer wall 20 of the cup 12 and each of the plurality of pleats 18 extends between the primary side 34 and the secondary side 36 of the perimeter edge 22 of the cup 12. The plurality of pleats 18 is centrally positioned between the first end 30 and the second end 32 of the ridge 28. The first end 30 and the second end 32 of the ridge 28 are urged toward each other when the plurality of pleats 18 is collapsed to position the cup 12 at a minimum length. Conversely, the first end 30 and the second end 32 of the ridge 28 are urged away from each other when the plurality of pleats 18 is expanded to position the cup 12 at a maximum length.
In a first alternative embodiment 40 most clearly shown in
The second alternative embodiment 46 includes a handle 50 which extends away from the perimeter edge 22 of the cup 12 having the handle 50 extending away from the first end 30 of the ridge 28. The handle 50 can be gripped to position the cup 12 on the user's vagina 14. The handle 50 curves upwardly from the first end 30 and the handle 50 has a distal end 52 with respect to the first end 30. Furthermore, each of a first sidelong side 54 and a second sidelong side 56 of the handle 50 curves outwardly adjacent to the distal end 52 to define a lobe 58 on the handle 50 to enhance gripping the handle 50.
In a third alternative embodiment 60 as is most clearly shown in
The third alternative embodiment 60 includes a handle 64 which extends away from the perimeter edge 22 of the cup 12 having the handle 64 extending away from the second end 32 of the ridge 28. In this way the handle 64 associated with the third alternative embodiment 60 can be gripped to position the cup 12 on the user's vagina 14. The handle 64 associated with the third alternative embodiment 60 curves downwardly from the first end 30 and the handle 64 associated with the third alternative embodiment 60 has a distal end 68 with respect to the first end 30. Each of a first sidelong side 70 and a second sidelong side 72 of the handle 64 associated with the third alternative embodiment 60 curves outwardly adjacent to the distal end 68 to define a lobe 74 on the handle 64 to enhance gripping the handle 64 associated with the third alternative embodiment 60. The third alternative embodiment 60 includes a second ball 76 that is disposed on a lower surface 78 of the handle 64 associated with the third alternative embodiment 60. The second ball 76 is aligned with the distal end 68 of the handle 64 associated with the third alternative embodiment 60. In this way the second ball 76 can be inserted into the user's anus for retaining the cup 12 over the user's vagina 14.
In use, the pleats 18 are either collapsed or extended to facilitate the length of the cup 12 to be adjusted to fit the user's vagina 14. The cup 12 is positioned over the user's vagina 14 when the user 16 is performing pubic hair removal such that the cup 12 covers the user's labia minora, urethra, clitoris and vaginal opening thereby protecting the user's vagina 14. In this way the user 16 can remove their pubic hair without inadvertently cutting, or otherwise injuring, their vagina 14 while shaving their pubic hair. Furthermore, the cup 12 can protect the user's vagina 14 from being exposed to hair removal chemicals when the user 16 employs hair removal chemicals to remove their pubic hair. The ball 42 associated with the first alternative embodiment 40 can be inserted into the user's vaginal opening 44 to secure cup 12 in place over the user's vagina 14. The handle 50 associated with the second alternative embodiment 46 can be gripped to assist with positioning the cup 12 and the ball 48 associated with the second alternative embodiment 46 can be inserted into the user's vaginal opening to secure the cup 12 over the user's vagina 14. The handle 64 associated with the third alternative embodiment 60 can be gripped to position the cup 12 over user's vagina 14. Furthermore, the first ball 62 associated with the third alternative embodiment 60 can be inserted into the user's vaginal opening and the second ball 76 associated with the third alternative embodiment 60 can be inserted into the user's anus to secure the cup 12 over the user's vagina 14.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
