METAL BEDSTEAD EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND DISASSEMBLE
A metal bedstead easy to assemble and disassemble includes a central strut, bed slats, corner legs, and side right rails. Two adjacent rails and one corner leg are in detachable fixation. Two ends of the central strut are in detachable fixation with the front and back rails, respectively. The bed slats are arranged along and orthogonal to the central strut. The bed slat is in detachable fixation with the central strut and is in detachable fixation with the left or right rail. The central strut and/or the rails each have a bracket and two rotating arms that are in rotatable connection with the bracket. Since the central strut and the rails are rotatable and foldable, the bedstead is rapid to assemble/disassemble and easy to transport. With the first connectors and the second connectors, the assembling/disassembling process is convenient, while ensuring connection strength and stability of the bedstead.
With the continuous elevation of living standards, people have put higher requirements for furniture, and the market demands have gone far beyond wood furniture. As a result, furniture of various materials has fueled rapid development of the furniture industry. In recent years, plastic furniture, steel-wood composite furniture, and full-metal furniture are becoming more and more popular. As to production of metal furniture, connection between metal components plays a crucial role.
Currently, most metal bedsteads on the market have their components assembled using bolts, and the complicated and time-consuming assembling/disassembling process is challenging to most consumers. Besides, for metal bedsteads made of different materials and for different parts of a metal bedstead, consumers have to recognize and select bolts of appropriate specifications, making the process even more difficult.
In view of these, the inventor has devised the present invention.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONOne objective of the present invention is to provide a metal bedstead easy to assemble and disassemble, wherein components of the metal bedstead are easy to assemble and disassemble and the assembled metal bedstead has desirable appearance and durability.
To achieve the foregoing objective, the present invention implements the following technical schemes:
-
- a metal bedstead easy to assemble and disassemble, comprising a central strut, a plurality of bed slats, four corner legs, and front, back, left, and right rails, wherein each two of the adjacent rails are in detachable fixation with one of the corner legs, and two ends of the central strut are in detachable fixation with the front and back rails, respectively, in which the bed slats are arranged along and orthogonal to the central strut, so that each of the bed slats has one end in detachable fixation with the central strut and an opposite end in detachable fixation with the left rail or the right rail; and the central strut and/or the rails each comprises a bracket that is of a U-like shape and two rotating arms that are in rotatable connection with two ends of lateral walls of the bracket.
Further, the metal bedstead comprises a first connector, which comprises a main part and an auxiliary part, wherein the main part is of a π-like shape and is fixed to the left rail and/or right rail and/or central strut so that a socket formed between the main part and the left rail and/or the right rail and/or the central strut, and the auxiliary part has one end provided with an insert to be inserted into the socket and an opposite end fixed to the opposite end of the bed slat.
Further, the metal bedstead comprises a first connector, which comprises a main part and an auxiliary part, wherein the main part is a socket formed on the left rail and/or the right rail and/or the central strut through machining, and the auxiliary part is an insert of a reversed-L shape, in which the insert has one end fixed to the opposite end of the bed slat and an opposite end for being inserted into the socket.
Further, the bracket has a bottom wall to which an intermediate leg is attached from below, and the bracket has two gaps form at two ends of the bottom wall so as to allow the rotating arms to rotate toward the intermediate leg for 90°.
Further, detachable reinforcing braces are provided between the intermediate legs of the front and back rails and the rotating arms corresponding to the central strut; and/or detachable reinforcing braces are provided between the intermediate legs of the left and right rails and the bed slats; and/or detachable reinforcing braces are provided between the intermediate legs of the central strut and the bed slats.
Further, the metal bedstead comprises a second connector of a reversed-L shape, wherein the second connector has a short leg for pressing against the two rotating arms, and the second connector has a long leg that comprises a front side for pressing against the lateral wall of the bracket, a free end for being in detachable fixation with the intermediate leg, and a back side for being fixed to the end of the bed slat or the end of the central strut.
Further, the short leg of the second connector is provided with a waist hole, and the bottom wall of the bracket is provided with a threaded hole, while adjacent ends of the two rotating arms are each provided with a semicircular hole, so that a screw is allowed to pass through the waist hole on the short leg of the second connector and a circular hole formed by the two semicircular holes and engage with the threaded hole at the bottom wall of the bracket.
Further, each of the two corner legs connected to the front rail is provided with headboard connecting holes, and the headboard connecting holes are arranged along a height of the corner leg.
The present invention has the following advantages:
-
- 1. Since the central strut and the rails are rotatable and foldable, the bedstead is rapid to assemble/disassemble and easy to transport, while ensuring connection strength and stability of the bedstead.
- 2. The short leg of the L-shaped second connector presses the two rotating arms downward, so that the connection formed by the deployed rotating arms is unlikely to move upward or downward, thereby improving stability of the product. The long leg of the L-shaped second connector fits closely to the lateral wall of the bracket and is fixed to the intermediate leg at the lower end, so as to further improve stability of the product by preventing the product from sway and preventing the intermediate leg from coming off.
- 3. The bed slats are connected to the left and right rails/central strut through the novel insertion-and-withdrawal structure, which enables consumers to perform assembly and disassembly conveniently and rapidly, while ensuring stable connection.
The following description, in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and preferred embodiments, is set forth as below to illustrate the present invention in detail. It is to be noted that spatial descriptions, such as “up,” “down,” “front,” “back,” “left,” “right,” “top,” “bottom,” “inside,” “outside” and so forth, are indicated with respect to the orientation shown in the figures unless otherwise specified.
