PHONE ENCASING LANYARD DEVICE
A phone encasing lanyard device for retaining to a clamp on a lanyard includes a clamp. The clamp has a base and a pair of sides. The base has a top edge, and each of the sides has a pad. The clamp retains a mobile device between each of the sides by friction from the pad of each of the sides. Each rope of a pair of ropes has a clamp end and a free end. The clamp end of each of the ropes is positioned on the top edge of the base. A clip retains the free end of each of the ropes together by a spring pin. The spring pin is used to adjust the length of the clip relative to the clamp. The pair of ropes can be worn around the neck of the user.

(g) BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION (1) Field of the InventionThe disclosure relates to mobile device holster devices and more particularly pertains to a new mobile device holster device for retaining to a clamp on a lanyard.
(2) Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 1.98The prior art includes a variety of mobile device holster devices configured for holding a variety of mobile devices. Furthermore, the prior art relates to a variety of mobile device holster devices having a strap. Known prior art lacks a mobile device holster device having a lanyard strap and clip to hold a clamp configured for retaining a mobile device by the use of friction from padding.
(h) BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAn embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a clamp. The clamp has a base and a pair of side. Furthermore, the base has a top edge. Each of the sides has a pad configured for retaining elements by friction. The clamp is configured fro retaining a mobile device between each of the sides. A pair of ropes has a clamp end and a free end. The clamp end of each of the ropes is positioned on a respective one of each corner of a pair of corners of the top edge of the base. Each of the ropes is retained in a clip by a spring pin. The spring pin is configured for adjusting the length of the clip relative to the clamp.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
Furthermore, the phone encasing lanyard device 10 comprises a pair of ropes 30. Each of the ropes 30 can be a variety of supple material such as plastic. Each of the ropes 30 is configured to be pliable and bendable. Each of the ropes 30 has a clamp end 32 and a free end 34. The clamp end 32 of each of the ropes 30 is positioned on a respective one of each corner 36 of a pair of corners 36 of the top edge 18 of the base 14 of the clamp 12. Each of the ropes 30 is configured for being worn on the neck 40 of a user 38.
The free end 34 of each of the ropes 30 is inserted into an aperture 44 of a clip 42. Each of the ropes 30 is retained in the clip 42 by a spring pin 46. The spring pin 46 is a spring loaded pin being configured for adjusting the length of the clip 42 relative to the clamp 12. The user 38 can move the clip 42 closer to the clamp 34 to enclose the pair of ropes 30 tighter around the neck 40 of the user 38.
In use, the user 38 positions a mobile device 24 in between each of the sides 20 of the clamp 12 and against the base 14. The pad 26 of each of the sides 20 retains the mobile device 24 in place by friction from the rubber material 28. The inward angle of the pair of sides 20 relative to the base 14 assists in retaining the mobile device 24 within the clamp 12. Once the mobile device 24 is secured within the clamp 12, the user 38 adjusts the clip 42 of the pair of ropes 30 to a position desired by the user 38. The user 38 then places each of the ropes 30 around the neck 40 of the user 38 to carry the mobile device 24.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
