GAS BURNER
A gas burner for a hob includes: an injector holder, a base that can be positioned on the injector holder, a lid that can be positioned on the base. The lid, the base and the injector holder are superposed along a direction. The injector holder includes: at least one injector arranged so as to be aligned substantially along the Z direction, at least one concave support body which internally delimits a cavity in which a corresponding injector is mounted, and one and only gas inlet which is in fluid communication with said at least one injector. The base and the lid have a substantially elongated shape along an X direction, the extension along the X direction being greater than the extension along a Y direction where the X and Y directions are perpendicular both to each other and to the Z-direction.

FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention relates to an elongated gas burner to be mounted on a hob, preferably on a built-in hob. In particular, the gas burner according to the invention is of the fish type and is particularly suitable for cooking fish dishes or, in general, dishes that require cooking in pots or cooking tools (for example grills or plates) elongated shape.
STATE OF THE ARTThe so-called “fish burners” (in English “fish burner”), which are burners specifically configured and suitable for heating fish pans or, in general, other elongated pans.
Known fish burners commonly comprise an injector(s) holder, a base positioned on the injector(s) holder and a lid positioned on the base and defining with it a chamber for mixing and distributing the air-gas mixture.
The injector(s) holder is commonly made of die-cast aluminum and is provided with means for its fastening to the hob; moreover, on its bottom of the injector(s) holder, an injector with a vertical axis is mounted which is fluidically connected to the gas supply inlet.
The base is also made of die-cast aluminum and is equipped with a coaxial vertical axis venturi duct facing the injector mounted on the injector(s) holder.
On the outer edge of the base a plurality of main and/or secondary doors are obtained for the generation of a ring of flames suitable for heating the pan placed above the burner itself.
The lid is commonly stamped from sheet metal and is usually screwed to the flame spreader.
The special feature of the fish burner, which distinguishes it from traditional circular burners, is the elongated shape of the base and lid. Conveniently, as mentioned, this elongated shape of the base and lid make the fish burner particularly suitable for use in combination with fish pots for cooking whole fish, as well as in combination with elongated plates (for example grill pans) for cooking and grilling meat or any other type of food.
However, known fish burners do not have a particularly high thermal power and, moreover, having only one external ring of flame, they do not allow for optimal heat distribution in the central part of the pan. These two drawbacks do not constitute a particular problem for cooking fish in fish pans, as it has to be cooked slowly and delicately (by steaming or stewing), however in grilling the low power and the non-optimal distribution of heat in the center of the grill does not allow reaching a temperature such as to guarantee rapid cooking and good grilling of the dish, especially the meat (steak).
US2018/0306448 discloses an assembly of a gas burner in which the elongated flame-spreader element rests on the hob, while a substantially box-shaped body is mounted below the hob which acts as a fuel manifold.
US2006/0081237 discloses a burner for a large barbecue and not intended to be mounted on a hob; in particular, the burner has a flame-spreader with an elongated lid and also comprises three ducts, separate and independent from each other, which extend horizontally externally with respect to the flame-spreader.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTIONThe object of the invention is to propose a gas burner to be installed on a hob which overcomes, at least in part, the drawbacks of traditional solutions.
Another object of the invention is to propose a gas burner, of a type particularly and/or specifically suitable for heating elongated pots or cooking utensils, which has a greater thermal power than traditional burners of the same type.
Another object of the invention is to propose a gas burner, of a type particularly and/or specifically suitable for heating elongated pots or cooking tools, which improves the distribution of heat on the bottom of the pot or cooking tool.
Another object of the invention is to propose a gas burner which is suitable for use in combination with fish pans or with cooking tools, for example plates, grills or steak grills, having an elongated shape.
Another object of the invention is to propose a gas burner which can be assembled and disassembled extremely easily, quickly and safely.
Another object of the invention is to propose a gas burner which, over time and with the inevitable accumulation of dirt following use, can be assembled and disassembled extremely easily, quickly and safely.
Another object of the invention is to propose a gas burner which has a particularly pleasant overall aesthetic effect.
Another object of the invention is to propose a gas burner which has a reduced number of components.
Another object of the invention is to propose a gas burner which can be obtained with extremely low production costs.
Another object of the invention is to propose a gas burner which can be mass-produced quickly and efficiently.
Another object of the invention is to propose a gas burner which has an alternative and/or improved characterization, both in constructive and functional terms, with respect to the traditional ones.
Another object of the invention is to propose a gas burner which meets high standards, both functionally and aesthetically, and at the same time has an affordable cost, thus allowing the possibility of its diffusion on a large scale.
Another object of the invention is to propose a gas burner of simple construction and low cost.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAll these objects, both alone and in any combination thereof, and others which will result from the following description are achieved, according to the invention, with a gas burner with the characteristics of claim 1.

As can be seen from the figures, the gas burner 2 according to the invention comprises a base 4, which can be positioned on an injector(s) holder 6, and a lid 8 which can be positioned above the base 4.

Preferably, said burner 2 consists exclusively of the base 4, the injector(s) holder 6 and the lid 8.
Conveniently, burner 2 is of the fish tank type. Conveniently, the burner 2 is configured to be particularly and/or specifically suitable for heating fish pans or, in general, cooking utensils (such as, for example, plates, grills, steak grills, casseroles, etc.) having an elongated shape.
The base 4 and the lid 8 of the burner 2 have an elongated shape.
More specifically, by “elongated” shape we mean that the development/extension along an X direction is greater than the development/extension along a Y direction which is perpendicular to the X direction, where, moreover, the X and Y directions are both perpendicular to a direction Z which completes the directions of a Cartesian triad and which corresponds to the positioning and overlapping direction of the lid 8 on the base 4 and of the latter on the injector(s) holder 6. In more detail, in other words, the lid 8, the base 4 and the injector holder(s) 6 are superimposed on each other along the Z direction. Preferably, the Z direction corresponds to a substantially vertical direction.
In particular, the development of the base 4 and of the lid 8 along the X direction is greater than that along the Y direction. Preferably, the base 4 and the lid 8 can have substantially the same extension along the X direction or the lid 8 can have an extension along the X direction slightly greater than that of the base 4. Preferably, the base 4 and the lid 8 have substantially the same extension along the Y direction or the lid 8 can have an extension along the Y direction slightly greater than that of base 4.
Preferably, the extension of the base 4 along the X direction is greater than that along the Y direction and also the extension of the base along the X and Y directions is much greater than that along the Z direction.
Preferably, the extension of the lid 8 along the X direction is greater than that along the Y direction, and likewise the extension of the lid 8 along the X and Y directions is much greater than that along the Z direction.
In all its possible embodiments, the base 4 and the lid 8 are configured so as to delimit at least one chamber 10 for mixing and/or distributing a mixture of air and gas, thus supplying:
-
- a first external group of flames 80 which emerge from first doors 81 formed, for at least a portion, in correspondence with an external wall 83 of the base 4 and/or an external edge 82 of the lid 8,
- at least a second internal group of flames 90 which emerge from second doors 91 obtained, for at least a portion, in correspondence with an internal wall 84 of the base 4 and/or an internal edge 92 of the lid 8, said internal wall 84 and said edge internal 92 at least partially surrounding an internal opening 70 which is defined within the overall dimensions in plan of the base 4 and of the lid 8.
Conveniently, said at least one internal opening 70 of the burner 2 is surrounded, entirely or for the most part, by said at least one chamber 10.
Preferably, said at least one internal opening 70 has an extension along the X direction that is different and greater than the extension along the Y direction.
Conveniently, said at least one internal opening 70 comprises and is defined by at least one first internal opening 70′ formed in the base 4 and by at least one second internal opening 70″ formed in the lid 8. Conveniently, said at least one first internal opening 70′ of the base 4 and said at least one second internal opening 70″ are facing each other and aligned along the direction Z.
The presence of the second doors 91 for the second internal group of flames 90 which come out inside each internal opening 70 (which is obtained inside the plan dimensions of the base 4 and of the lid 8), and therefore the generation of the second internal group of flames 90, allows to increase the total section (which is defined by the set of the first doors 81 and the second doors 91) available for the escape of the air-gas mixture, thus allowing to increase the maximum heating power reachable by the burner 2, and therefore to obtain faster cooking of the dish contained in the corresponding frying pan or cooking utensil positioned above the burner itself.
Furthermore, the second internal group of flames 90 also allows for direct and closer heating of the innermost and central part of the pan or cooking utensil, thus improving heat distribution and consequently the uniformity of cooking of the dishes contained in the corresponding pan or cooking utensil.
In particular, said at least one internal opening 70 is defined more internally than the external wall 83 of the base 4 and/or the external edge 82 of the lid 8. In more detail, said at least one internal opening 70 is defined internally respectively of the base 4 and/or the lid 8.
As mentioned, said at least one internal opening 70 is preferably defined by at least one first internal opening 70′ of the base 4 and by at least one second internal opening 70″ of the lid 8, overlapping and facing each other. Preferably, said at least one first internal opening 70′ of the base 4 and said at least one second internal opening 70″ of the lid 8 have substantially the same shape, but different dimensions. In particular, the plan dimensions of the second internal opening 70″ of the lid 8 can be smaller than that of the first internal opening 70′ of the base 4 since the edges of the lid 8 protrude internally with respect to the corresponding edges of the base 4.
Preferably, the size of said at least one internal opening 70 is delimited by the internal edge 92 of the lid 8 and by the internal wall 84 of the base, where the internal edge 92 protrudes further inwards with respect to the internal wall 84 of the base 4.
Preferably, the base 4 is made in one piece.
Preferably, the lid 8 is made in one piece. Preferably, the lid 8 is pressed in sheet metal. Preferably, the lid 8 is entirely enamelled or at least in correspondence with its upper face intended to be visible.
Preferably, the overall dimensions in plan—corresponding to the overall dimensions defined along the X and Y directions—of the burner 2 is defined by the outer edge 82 of the lid 8 which protrudes further outwards with respect to the outer wall 83 of the base 4.
Preferably, the plan shape (i.e. along the X and Y directions) of the base 4 substantially corresponds to the plan shape of the lid 8, so that the positioning of the lid 8 above the base 4 allows the chamber 10 to be closed at the top. Preferably, the plan dimensions of the lid 8 are slightly greater than that of the base.
Preferably, the outer wall 83 of the base 4 and/or the outer edge 82 of the lid 8 define(s) in plan view a substantially elliptical shape with an extension along the X direction which is greater than the extension along the Y direction, or a polygonal shape (for example octagonal, as represented in the figures) which can be inscribed in an ellipse having an extension along the X direction which is greater than the extension along the Y direction and, in this case, at least two sides facing each other have a much greater development than the other sides of the polygonal shape.
Preferably, the chamber 10 is delimited laterally by the external wall 83 and by the internal wall 84 of the base 4, below by the upper surface of the bottom of the base 4 (bottom which joins the aforementioned two walls 83 and 84), while above it is delimited and closed by the lid 8.
Preferably, the first outer set of flames 80 comprises a first outer ring of flames. Preferably, the flames 80 of the first external group are directed outwards.
Preferably, the second inner set of flames 90 comprises a second inner ring of flames. Conveniently, the flames 90 of the second internal group open/exit inside the internal opening 70.

Conveniently, the injector(s) holder 6 comprises:

- at least one injector 9, preferably with a substantially vertical development (i.e. along the Z direction),
- at least one concave support body 14 which delimits inside at least one cavity 7 in which a corresponding injector 9 is mounted,
- a single and only gas inlet 11 which is in fluid communication with said at least one injector 9.
Preferably, the injector(s) holder 6 is configured in such a way that, when the base 4 is positioned on the injector(s) holder 6, the latter is substantially contained within the overall dimensions of the base itself, i.e. substantially it does not come out or it comes out slightly outside with respect to the overall dimensions of said base 4.
The injector holder 6 can comprise a single cavity 7 in which a corresponding injector 9 is mounted. Alternatively, the injector holder can comprise two cavities 7, in each of which a corresponding injector 9 is mounted, and which are fluidically and structurally separated and spaced from each other.
Conveniently, in some possible embodiments (cf.
Conveniently, the single chamber 10 can comprise one or more interruption portions in which corresponding passages 41 formed in the base 4 are formed. Preferably, two passages 41 are provided which are formed in the base 4 in respective positions diametrically opposite to each other.

Preferably, the two feed chambers 10 can be separated from each other by two passages 41 which are formed on the base 4 in diametrically opposite positions.
Preferably, in both embodiments, the passages 41 define corresponding transmission channels for the flames from the first external group 80 to the second internal group 90 (in the event that the ignition candle 36 is positioned in correspondence with the external wall 83 and/or of the outer edge 82, see for example the embodiments of
Advantageously, the two diametrically opposed passages 41 facilitate the step of molding the base 4 and, in particular, facilitate the extraction of the base 4 from the mold.

The injector(s) holder 6 is configured for and is intended to be applied in correspondence with a through opening intended to be made in a cooking hob 13. Advantageously, the injector(s) holder 6 is of the type which requires the creation of a single and only through opening on the hob or at most only two through openings on the hob, thus facilitating its installation. Conveniently, the injector(s) holder 6 can be of the traditional type. Conveniently, the injector(s) holder 6 is intended to be constrained to the cooking hob 13 and, preferably, to a built-in cooking hob.
Preferably, the injector(s) holder 6 is configured to adhere from below to the sheet metal of a cooking hob 13, to which it is intended to be fixed by means of screws.
The burner 2, and in particular its injector(s) holder 6, can be configured to draw primary air 17 from below the cooking surface 13 and/or from above the cooking surface 13.
The burner 2, and in particular its injector(s) holder 6, is provided with a single gas inlet 11 and, therefore, is not of the “dual” type and, in particular, does not have two gas inlets controlled by a “dual” valve or by two corresponding valves.
Conveniently, the injector(s) holder 6 comprises at least one cavity 7 defined within a corresponding concave support body 14 which comprises a bottom wall and a side wall which can be completely closed (cf.
Conveniently, an injector 9 is mounted-preferably screwed-on the bottom wall of each cavity of the injector(s) holder 6. Preferably, each injector 9 is arranged (and in particular is mounted) inside the respective cavity so as to be aligned substantially along the Z direction. Preferably, each injector 9 has a substantially vertical development. Conveniently, each injector 9 of the injector(s) holder 6 is in fluid communication with the single gas inlet 11 with which said injector(s) holder 6 is provided.
Suitably, each concave support body 14 of the injector(s) holder 6 is open at the top to thus allow access (once the base 4 is removed from the injector(s) holder 6) to the corresponding injector mounted inside the cavity defined inside of said concave support body 14.
Preferably, the injector holder(s) 6 comprises an internal gas supply duct 20 which is fluidically connected to the single gas inlet 11 and to the injector(s) 9. Preferably, the duct 20 extends horizontally at the bottom of the injector(s) holder 6, is open at one end at the gas inlet 11 and communicates at the other end with a vertical injector 9 which is screwed centrally onto the bottom wall of each cavity 7 of the injector(s) holder 6 (cf.

The base 4 comprises at least one tubular duct 40 which extends along the Z direction and downwards from the bottom of the base itself and which defines a vertical channel 42 inside which is intended to face a corresponding injector 9 mounted on the injector(s) holder 6 and which opens into said at least one chamber 10 at the top. Preferably, each tubular duct 40 of the base has a substantially vertical development (i.e. along the Z direction) and is coaxial to a corresponding injector 9 with a vertical axis mounted on the injector(s) holder 6.
Preferably, each tubular duct 40 can define within it a linear Venturi channel with a substantially vertical axis.
Preferably, each tubular duct 40 and the mixing/distribution chamber 10—which is defined by the base 4 and the lid 8 and into which each tubular duct 40 opens—are configured so as to define a radial Venturi, i.e. so as to cause a radial venturi effect.
Conveniently, the mixing/distribution chamber 10 has a substantially annular shape elongated along the X direction, with or without further connection sections (preferably extending along the Y direction) between diametrically opposite zones of the chamber itself (cf.

Preferably, the first two internal openings 70′ are more elongated along the X direction than the Y direction. Conveniently, in some possible embodiments not shown here, the first two internal openings 70′ could have an extension along the X direction equal to the extension along the Y direction (for example with a circular or square shape), or they could have an extension along the X direction smaller than the extension along the Y direction (for example with an elliptical or polygonal shape).
Preferably, the two internal openings 70 have shape and dimensions along the X and Y directions which are the same between the two openings, however—in some possible embodiments not shown here—they could have different shape and/or dimensions.
Preferably, the second doors 91 are formed at the internal side walls 84 of the base 4, which surround the first two internal openings 70′ defined on the base 4. Preferably, the internal side wall 84 is spaced inwards from the side wall external 83 and these walls are connected to each other at the bottom by the upper surface of the bottom of the base 4.
Conveniently, in some possible embodiments (cf.

- an external channel 45, with a substantially annular development and elongated along the X direction, which is formed by two symmetrical sectors 46′ and 46″,
- a central area 44 with two radial portions (aligned with each other along the Y direction), each of which fluidically connects the central area 44 with one of the two symmetrical sectors 46′ or 46″.
In particular, the base 4 comprises the external channel 45, with a substantially annular development and elongated along the X direction, and with two symmetrical sectors 46′, 46″ connected to the central area 44 by means of respective radial segments.
Correspondingly, the lid 8 substantially takes up the shape of the base 4 and, therefore, comprises an outer annular part 55 with an elongated development along the X direction with two symmetrical portions 56′, 56″ connected to each other by respective radial portions at a central part 57. Conveniently, the lid 8 also comprises two corresponding second internal openings 70″, each of which faces (along the direction Z) a corresponding first internal opening 70′ of the base 4. Preferably, the lid 8 comprises two second internal openings 70″ which take up the shape of the first two internal openings 70′ obtained on the base 4, although the second ones have a smaller plan development than the first ones.

Advantageously, each concave support body 14 of the injector(s) holder 6 is provided with at least two fins 21 projecting outwards to adhere to the hob 13 from below. Conveniently, two or more through holes can be made in correspondence with the fins 21 22 intended to be crossed by members for the connection of the injector(s) holder 6 to the sheet metal of the cooking hob 13. Preferably, the two fins 21 extend radially outwards from, or in correspondence with, a flange 24 which externally wraps the side walls of each concave support body 14.

Conveniently, in the embodiments in which the injector holder 6 comprises two cavities 7 (cf. for example the fourth, fifth and sixth embodiments), a corresponding vertical injector 9 is mounted on the bottom of each of the two concave support bodies 14. Conveniently, the two concave support bodies 14 are connected to each other at their bottoms by a corresponding connecting portion 16. Preferably, the injector holder 6 of the fourth, fifth and sixth embodiments is made in a single piece.
Conveniently, in the embodiments in which the injector holder 6 comprises two cavities 7 (cf. for example the fourth, fifth and sixth embodiments), the latter—and in particular the respective concave support bodies 14—are placed side by side along a direction which, preferably, corresponds (or is in any case parallel) to the Y direction, i.e. to the direction of least development of the base 4 and of the lid 8. Conveniently, moreover, in these embodiments, the gas supply duct 20 which is fluidically connected to the two injectors 9, crosses the connection section 16 of the two support bodies 14 and, moreover, is aligned along a direction which, preferably, corresponds (or is in any case parallel) to the Y direction, i.e. to the direction of least development of the base 4 and lid 8.
Advantageously, in some possible embodiments, and in particular in the embodiments in which the injector(s) holder 6 comprises one or two cup-shaped support bodies 14 (cf. for example the first, second, fourth and fifth embodiment), the side wall of each cup support body 14 comprises an upper edge 23 for supporting the base 4. Preferably, the upper edge 23 extends above the flange 24 projecting outwards from the side walls of each concave cup support body 14 to adhere from below to the sheet metal of the cooking hob 13. In particular, the base 4 rests on the injector(s) holder 6 inso that a passage is delimited between these to allow entry into the cavity of the injector(s) holder 6 of primary air 17 also coming (cf.
Advantageously, in some possible embodiments, and in particular in the embodiments in which the injector(s) holder 6 comprises one or two partially open cup-shaped support bodies 14 (cf. for example the third and sixth embodiments), each support body 14 comprises at the top a corresponding collar 27 for resting and supporting the base 4. Preferably, the side wall of each cup-shaped concave support body 14 is provided with a flange 24 projecting outwards to adhere from below to the sheet metal of the hob 13. Furthermore, said lateral wall extends above the flange 24 defining a corresponding collar 27 for resting and supporting the base 4.
Conveniently, the substantially cup-shaped concave support body 14 has a lateral development (corresponding to the extension of its cross section, i.e. along the X and/or Y directions) which is smaller than that of the concave support body 14 which is essentially shaped like a cup.
Advantageously, the substantially cup-shaped concave support body 14 is particularly advantageous in that, by sucking in primary air (also or only) from above the hob 13, it is practically insensitive to the phenomenon of streaming; however, in this case, to increase the burner power, it is required to increase the cup size.
The substantially cup-shaped concave support body 14 is particularly advantageous in that it is small and compact, and moreover, since it draws the primary air from below the cooking hob 13, it does not require large dimensions to increase the power of the burner.
Preferably, the base 4 comprises lower means for supporting and coupling said base to the injector(s) holder 6. Conveniently, the base 4 rests directly and only on the injector(s) holder 6 without any support or contact with the hob.
Advantageously, in some possible embodiments, the support means comprise said at least one tubular duct 40, which extends downwards from the bottom of the base 4 and which fits into a corresponding cavity 7 of the injector(s) holder 6, and preferably inserts so as to define a hermetic closure, thus avoiding the entry of primary air from above the hob into each cavity 7 provided in the injector(s) holder 6.

Advantageously, the shaped portions 30—preferably protruding from the bottom of the base 4—engage with hollow sections 47 provided at the upper edge 23, preferably on the inner surface, of each cup-shaped support body 14 of the injector(s) holder 6. The coupling between said shaped sections 30 and the sections recesses 47 also facilitates the centering of the base 4 with respect to the injector(s) holder.

Advantageously, the injector(s) holder 6 can comprise a first arm 35 for supporting a spark plug 36. Advantageously, the injector(s) holder 6 can comprise a second arm 37 for supporting a thermocouple 38. Suitably, the first 35 and/or the second arm 37 extend radially outwards from the side walls of the support body 14.
However, it should be pointed out that depending on market requirements, the burner may be equipped or may be without a spark plug 36 and/or a thermocouple 38.
Advantageously, locking means 50 are also provided configured to fix the base 4 and the lid 8 together so as to thus define a corresponding assembly. Preferably, in a possible embodiment, these locking means 50 comprise fastening members 51 (for example screws and bolts) which pass through corresponding holes 52 made in the base 4 to then engage with the ends in corresponding seats 53, preferably internally threaded, defined on the bottom of the lid 8. Preferably, in a possible embodiment not shown, the locking means 50 comprise at least one pin which is fixed—for example it is welded—to the bottom of the lid 8 and is configured to fit into a corresponding hole (through or blind) formed in the base 4. Advantageously, said locking means 50 are configured to lock the base 4 and the lid 8 together along the X and Y directions, and preferably also along the Z direction (i.e. along the overlapping/supporting the lid 8 on the base 4).
The operation of the burner 2 according to the invention is traditional in that the gas, which arrives in the injector(s) holder 6 from the gas inlet 11, passes through the supply duct 20 and exits from each injector 9 into the corresponding cavity 7, from where it then enters the respective vertical duct 40 of the base 4, carrying with it the primary air 17 drawn from above and/or below the cooking hob 13.
The flow of gas and primary air 17 begins to mix in the tubular duct 40 (in particular in the case where the tubular duct has an internal passage section which does not define a vertical linear Venturi duct) and then completes its mixing in the corresponding chamber 10 in which it flows, or mixes for the most part or entirely in the vertical duct 40 (in particular in the case in which the vertical duct defines a vertical linear Venturi duct inside it) to then flow into the chamber 10 already completely mixed or in any case mixed for the most part.
The mixture thus obtained in the chamber 10 feeds both the first external group of flames 80, which emerges from the first doors 81 towards the outside of the burner 2, and the second internal group of flames 90 which emerges from the second doors 91 inside the aperture(s) 70 defined within the overall dimensions of the burner itself.
From what has been said it is clear that the burner according to the invention is somewhat more advantageous than traditional burners, and in particular:
-
- despite having an elongated development of the base and the lid, which make it particularly and specifically suitable for being used to heat fish pans or elongated cooking tools in general, at the same time it has a distribution of flames that is more uniform and homogeneous, also in correspondence with the central and/or innermost area, and furthermore, having a greater number of flames, it allows to increase the heating power,
- it is made up of only three pieces and thanks to the creation of the base in a single die-cast piece, without recovery operations, it is quite simple and cheap to make,
- has a particularly limited height,
- the assembly of the three components (injector holder, base and cover) is particularly easy, fast and intuitive.
The present invention has been illustrated and described in some of its preferred embodiments, but it is understood that executive variants can be applied to them in practice, without however departing from the scope of protection of the present patent for industrial invention.
Claims
1. Gas burner for a hob, for heating elongated pans or cooking utensils, the gas burner comprising:
- an injector holder,
- a base that can be positioned on said injector holder,
- a lid that can be positioned on the base,
- wherein said lid, said base and said injector holder are superposed along a direction Z,
- said injector holder comprises:
- at least one injector, arranged so as to be aligned substantially along the Z direction,
- at least one concave support body which internally delimits a cavity in which a corresponding injector is mounted,
- a single gas inlet which is in fluid communication with said at least one injector,
- and wherein:
- said base and said lid have a substantially elongated shape along an X direction, the extension along the X direction being greater than the extension along a Y direction where the X and Y directions are perpendicular both to each other and to the Z-direction,
- said burner further comprises first doors obtained, for at least a portion, in correspondence with an external wall of the base and/or an external edge of the lid,
- said burner further comprises second doors formed, for at least a portion, in correspondence with an internal wall of the base and/or an internal edge of the lid, said internal wall of the base and said internal edge surrounding at least partially an internal opening which is defined within the overall dimensions in plan of the base and of the lid,
- said base and said lid are configured in such a way as to delimit at least one chamber for mixing and/or distributing a mixture of air and gas, thus supplying: a first external group of flames configured to emerge from said first doors towards the outside of the burner, at least one second internal group of flames which emerge from said second doors towards the inside of said at least one internal opening.
2. The burner according to claim 1, wherein the outer wall of the base and/or the outer edge of the lid define in plan view a substantially elliptical shape with an extension along the direction X which is greater than the extension along the Y direction, or a polygonal shape which can be inscribed in an ellipse having an extension along the X direction which is greater than the extension along the Y direction.
3. The burner according to claim 1, wherein said base comprises a single chamber which is fluidically connected to a cavity of the injector holder.
4. The burner according to claim 1, wherein:
- said base comprises two chambers,
- said injector holder comprises two cavities, in each of which a corresponding injector is mounted,
- each chamber is fluidically connected to one of said two cavities of the injector holder.
5. The burner according to claim 1, wherein said injector holder is configured to be applied in correspondence with a through opening of a cooking hob and is configured to aspirate primary air from below the hob and/or from above the hob.
6. The burner according to claim 1, wherein said base comprises at least one tubular duct which:
- develops downwards, substantially along the Z direction, from the bottom of the base, and
- internally defines a channel which at the bottom is configured to face a corresponding injector mounted on the injector(s) holder and which opens at the top into said at least one chamber.
7. The burner according to claim 6, wherein said at least one tubular duct defines within it a linear Venturi channel with a substantially vertical axis or substantially aligned along the Z direction.
8. The burner according to claim 6, wherein said at least one tubular duct and said at least one chamber, into which said at least one tubular duct opens, are configured to define a radial Venturi.
9. The burner according to claim 1, further comprising two internal openings which are defined by two first internal openings obtained on the base and by two second internal openings obtained on the lid.
10. The burner according to claim 9, wherein said base includes comprises:
- an external channel, substantially annular in shape elongated along the X direction,
- said at least two first internal openings positioned on the sides of or around a central area which is connected to said external channel by at least one radial section.
11. The burner according to claim 10, wherein:
- said tubular duct opens into said central area,
- said lid also comprising said two corresponding second internal openings, facing said first openings along the Z direction, and having a shape which in plan substantially corresponds to that of said base to thus close above said chamber which is defined by said base and by said lid.
12. The burner according to claim 1, wherein:
- said injector holder comprises a single cavity in which a corresponding injector is mounted,
- said tubular duct faces said injector.
13. The burner according to claim 1, wherein said base comprises at least two first internal openings which are placed side by side along the axis X.
14. The burner according to claim 6, further comprising a single internal opening which is defined by a first internal opening obtained on the base and by a second internal opening obtained on the lid.
15. The burner according to claim 14, wherein said base comprises:
- an external channel, substantially annular in shape elongated along the X direction, into which two tubular ducts open,
- said single first internal opening, substantially elongated along the X direction, is surrounded by said external channel.
16. The burner according to claim 15, wherein said lid comprises said single second internal opening facing said single first internal opening along the Z direction, and having a shape which in plan substantially corresponds to that of said base to thus close above said at least one chamber which is defined by said base and by said lid.
17. The burner according to claim 15, wherein said two tubular ducts open into two zones of the external channel which are diametrically opposite along the direction Y.
18. The burner according to claim 1, wherein:
- said injector holder comprises two cavities, in each of which a corresponding injector is mounted,
- said two cavities of said injector holder being side by side, along the Y direction.
19. The burner according to claim 18, wherein said base comprises two tubular ducts and that each of said two tubular ducts faces a corresponding injector.

24. The burner according to claim 1, wherein each concave support body of the injector(s) holder is open at the top to thus allow access to the corresponding injector mounted inside the cavity defined inside said concave support body.
