A drawing table includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion has a table frame, and the table frame is provided with a rectangular table supporting rod on both sides. The table supporting rod is provided with several adjusting holes. An anti-sliding block with an anti-sliding edge is provided at the bottom of the table supporting rod. The lower portion has two table supporting tripod provided with a rectangular assembly leg, the assembly leg is jacketed onto the table supporting rod, and the anti-sliding edge abuts the inner side of the assembly leg. The table frame is pivotally provided with a tabletop, and the tabletop and the table frame are connected. The standing mechanism can be opened by pivoting the tabletop. The user can adjust the standing mechanism by pushing an auxiliary adjustment piece. A protecting cover is installed on the outside of the standing mechanism.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of Invention

The present invention relates to a drafting table.

Description of the Related Art

For a conventional drafting table, in order to smoothly work with paper, it needs the ability to adjust the inclination of the table top. As shown in FIG. 21 and FIG. 22, a drafting table 90 is provided with a table top 91, and the table top 91 cooperates with an adjustment mechanism 92 for lifting and tilting. It is not difficult to see, however, that the adjustment mechanism 92 is exposed and lacks protection. When the user uses the adjustment mechanism 92, it is easy to be scratched or pinched, which is unsafe. To avoid such product design errors, and to solve the safety related problems, the safety structure of the drawing table should be improved.

Therefore, it is desirable to provide a drafting table to mitigate and/or obviate the aforementioned problems.

SUMMARY OF EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION

An objective of present invention is to provide a drafting table, which is capable of improving the above-mention problems.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned objective, a drawing table includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion has a table frame, and the table frame is provided with a rectangular table supporting rod on both sides. The table supporting rod is provided with several adjusting holes. An anti-sliding block with an anti-sliding edge is provided at the bottom of the table supporting rod. The lower portion has two table supporting tripod provided with a rectangular assembly leg, the assembly leg is jacketed onto the table supporting rod, and the anti-sliding edge abuts the inner side of the assembly leg. The table frame is pivotally provided with a tabletop, and the tabletop and the table frame are connected. The standing mechanism can be opened by pivoting the tabletop. The user can adjust the standing mechanism by pushing an auxiliary adjustment piece. A protecting cover is installed on the outside of the standing mechanism.

Other objects, advantages, and novel features of embodiments of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

First, please refer to FIGS. 1-7. A drafting table 10 comprises an upper portion 11 and a lower portion 12, the upper portion 11 has a table frame 111, and the table frame 111 respectively has a rectangular table supporting rod 112 at two opposite sides. As shown in FIGS. 8-10, the table supporting rod 112 has a plurality of adjusting holes 1121 and an anti-sliding block 113 with an anti-sliding edge 1131 at a bottom end. The lower portion 12 has two table supporting tripods 121 with a rectangular assembly leg 122 jacketed onto each table supporting rod 112. Each anti-sliding edge 1131 abuts an inner side of a corresponding the assembly leg 122 to provide support between the table supporting rod 112 and the assembly leg 122. The assembly leg 122 has an adjusting member 1221 for insertion into one of the adjusting holes 1121 to combine the upper portion 11 and the lower portion 12 together. The table frame 111 is pivoted with a tabletop 114, and a standing mechanism 115 assembled between the tabletop 114 and the table frame 111. As shown in FIGS. 11-19, the standing mechanism 115 has a first base member 1151, a second base member 1152 pivoted with the first base member, and a stand holder 1153 pivoted with the first base member 1151 and engaged with a spring 1154. The second base member 1152 has a plurality of stopping teeth 11521, and an auxiliary adjustment piece 1155. The auxiliary adjustment piece 1155 has a engaging slot 11551 for accepting the stand holder 1153 and a though aperture 11552, and the stand holder 1153 has a stopping pin 11531 passing through the though aperture 11552. The first base member 1151 and the second base member 1152 are pivoted with a respective locking member 1156 locking with the tabletop 114 or the table frame 111. Furthermore, a protecting cover 1157 has a first end pivoted with one end of both of the first base member 1151 and the second base member 1152 and a second end pivoted onto another location of the first base member 1151. By rotating the tabletop 14, the first base member 1151 and the second base member 1152 open the standing mechanism 115 such that the stopping pin 11531 is caple of being inserted into one of the stopping teeth 11521 to secure the stand holder 115 to allow the tabletop 14 to be inclined. A user can adjust the angle of the tabletop 114 by pushing the auxiliary adjustment piece 1155 to move the stopping pin 11531 to engage with the other stopping tooth 11521 to change the incline angle of the tabletop 114 or to pivot the tabletop 114 backward to rotate the first base member 1151 and the second base member 1152 so the standing mechanism 115 is closed and return the tabletop 114 to a flat position.

With the above structure, the table supporting rod 112 utilizes the anti-sliding edge 1131 of the anti-sliding block 113 to fill the gap between the table supporting rod 112 and the assembly leg 122 to prevent shaking and better assembly. The assembly is performed to prevent the table supporting rod 112 and the assembly leg 122 from shaking due to the gap, and to prevent the table supporting rod 112 from disengaging of the assembly leg 122, which is more stable and safer. The auxiliary adjustment piece 1155 can be used to make the assembly more secure to adjust the second base member 1152. The protecting cover 1157 is arranged to prevent a user's hand from being pinched by the first base member 1151 and the second base member 1152. The stopping tooth 11521 and the auxiliary adjustment piece 1155 also further improves the safety during usage.

The actual usage can be understood in more detail from the following description:

As shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, the adjusting member 1221 is inserted into the adjusting hole 1121 to combine the table supporting rod 112 and the assembly leg 122, and the anti-sliding edge 1131 abuts the inner side of the assembly leg 122 to prevent the table supporting rod 112 and the assembly leg 122, thereby making the structure more stable and safer. The user can temporarily pull the adjusting member 1221 out of the adjusting hole 1121 and adjust the position of the table supporting rod 112, and the adjusting member 1221 can be inserted into the different adjusting holes 1121 to adjust the height of the upper portion 11 relative to the ground.

As shown in FIGS. 11 to 14, the standing mechanism 115 is assembled by pivoting the locking member 1156, the first base member 1151, and the second base member 1152 all together, when the tabletop 114 is pivoted and the standing mechanism 115 tilted can be unfolded, and the stand holder 1153 is secured by the stopping pin 11531 being inserted into the stopping tooth 11521 to keep the tabletop 114 being tilted. The spring 1154 provides pulling force to assist in the movement of the stand holder 1153. As shown in FIGS. 15 and 16, the user can push the auxiliary adjustment piece 1155 to move the stopping pin 11531 to engage with the other stopping tooth 11521, thereby adjusting the angle of the tabletop 114 more safely and preventing the user's hand from being injured. As shown in FIGS. 17 to 19, the tabletop 114 can be pivoted to return to a flat position, the user can first fully unfold the standing mechanism 115 to disengage the stopping pin 11531 from all the stopping teeth. 11521, and it is easier to push back the tabletop 114.

Moreover, the table supporting tripod 121 is a triangular frame with a rigid structure, and the table supporting tripod 121 is provided with a horizontal reinforcing rod 123 for strengthening the structure.

In addition, the table supporting tripod 121 and the reinforcing rod 123 are locked with a storage basket 124 for storing items.

As shown in FIG. 6, a round rod 125 is locked between two reinforcing rods 123 to strengthen the structure.

Furthermore, two structural reinforcement rods 126 are assembled between the assembly legs 122, and the two structural reinforcement rods 126 are arranged to form an X shape, which can be used to strengthen and stabilize the structure.

As shown in FIG. 7, the table frame 111 is provided with a plurality of sliding rails 1111, and the sliding rails 1111 can be combined with any number of drawers 1112 or any number of extension plates 1113.

As shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9, the table supporting rod 112 is provided with a securing aperture 1122, and two sides of each anti-sliding block 113 respectively have an elastic securing portion 1132, and when the anti-sliding block 113 is inserted into a corresponding table supporting rod 112, the elastic securing portion 1132 engages with the securing aperture 1122 to assemble the anti-sliding block 113 with the table supporting rod 112.

As shown in FIG. 5, the tabletop 114 is provided with a sub-panel 1141 on the side, and the sub-panel 1141 is provided with a storage box 1142 for temporarily placing items and a round storage rack 1143 for placing a storage container 1144, which can also be a beverage cup, a small basket, etc.

As shown in FIG. 20, the shelf 1143 is pivotally mounted on the sub-panel 1141. When the tabletop 114 is tilted, the shelf 1143 can be pivotally lowered to maintain the storage container 1144 upward.

Also, all of the openings of the stopping tooth 11521 face toward the first base member 1151 and the second base member 1152, and when the standing mechanism 115 is unfolded, the stand holder 1153 can be prevented from moving in the opposite direction.

Alternatively, the anti-sliding edge 1131 is circular.

As shown in FIG. 3, at least one triangular side piece 1123 can be provided between the corners of the table supporting rod 112 and the table frame 111 to strengthen the structure.

Additionally, the auxiliary adjustment piece 1155 can be made of plastic, which can better prevent the user's hands from being scratched.

Although embodiments of the present invention have been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of invention as hereinafter claimed.

Claims

1. A drafting table comprising an upper portion and a lower portion; the upper portion comprising a table frame, the table frame respectively having two table supporting rods at two opposite sides, each table supporting rod having a plurality of adjusting holes and an anti-sliding block with an anti-sliding edge at a bottom end; the lower portion comprises two table supporting tripods with an assembly leg jacketed onto each table supporting rod; each anti-sliding edge abuts an inner side of a corresponding assembly leg to provide support between the table supporting rod and the assembly leg; each assembly leg comprises an adjusting member for insertion into one of the adjusting holes to combine the upper portion and the lower portion; the table frame is pivoted with a tabletop, a standing mechanism assembled between the tabletop and the table frame; the standing mechanism having a first base member, a second base member pivoted with the first base member, and a stand holder pivoted with the first base member and engaged with a spring; the second base member has a plurality of stopping teeth, and an auxiliary adjustment piece, the auxiliary adjustment piece having an engaging slot for accepting the stand holder and a though aperture disposed on a side; the stand holder has a stopping pin passing through the though aperture; the first base member and the second base member pivoted with a respective locking member locking with the tabletop or the table frame, and a protecting cover has a first end pivoted with one end of both of the first base member and the second base member and a second end pivoted onto another location of the first base member; wherein by rotating the tabletop, the first base member and the second base member open the standing mechanism such that the stopping pin is caple of being inserted into one of the stopping teeth to secure the stand holder to allow the tabletop to be inclined.

The drafting table as claimed in claim 1, wherein each table supporting rod has securing aperture, two sides of each anti-sliding block respectively have an elastic securing portion, and when the anti-sliding block is inserted into a corresponding table supporting rod, the elastic securing portion engages with the securing aperture to assemble the anti-sliding block with the table supporting rod.

3. The drafting table as claimed in claim 1, wherein all openings of the stopping teeth face the first base member and the second base member.

4. The drafting table as claimed in claim 1, wherein at least one triangular enforcement piece is installed between the table supporting rod and the table frame.
