1.3 : Top

1.4 : Bottom

1.5 : Perspective

The design shows a balise (a data transmission element arranged in the railway track that stores railway information and transmits it to rail vehicles passing the location of the balise); the design describes an essentially cuboid housing; however, the housing differs from a real cuboid shape in that the longer side surfaces opposite each other are each divided into two partial surfaces, which run diagonally towards each other from the top and bottom of the housing, forming an additional edge; the cross-section of the housing thus results in an elongated hexagon; on the upper side of the housing, needle-shaped elevations are provided at right angles to each other, creating a regular pattern; two round indentations in the form of stepped through-holes and a rectangular smooth surface are also provided on the top of the housing, with the latter design elements interrupting the regular pattern; the needle-shaped elevations are also arranged on the partial surfaces adjoining the top.

The broken lines in Reproduction 1.2 depict portions of the data transmission device for electronic functioning components that form no part of the claimed design.

Claims
