FIG. 1 is a top plan view of a combined dial and hands for a timepiece showing my new design;

FIG. 2 is a lower edge elevational view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a second embodiment of my new design of FIGS. 1 and 2;

FIG. 4 is a top plan view of a third embodiment of my new design of FIGS. 1 and 2;

FIG. 5 is a lower edge elevational view of FIG. 4;

FIG. 6 is a top plan view of a fourth embodiment of my new design of FIGS. 1 and 2, the edge view being identical to FIG. 5;

FIG. 7 is a top plan view of a fifth embodiment of my new design of FIGS. 1 and 2;

FIG. 8 is a lower edge elevational view of FIG. 7;

FIG. 9 is a top plan view of a sixth embodiment of my new design of FIGS. 1 and 2, the edge view being identical to FIG. 8;

FIG. 10 is a top plan view of a seventh embodiment of my new design of FIGS. 1 and 2;

FIG. 11 is a lower edge elevational view of FIG. 10;

FIG. 12 is a top plan view of an eighth embodiment of my new design of FIGS. 1 and 2, the edge view being identical to FIG. 11;

The bottom plan views of all ten embodiments are flat, plain and unornamental; and

The numeral 7 in FIGS. 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15 is a typical indication of a day of the month.

A characteristic feature of my new design is the visual concealment of the hour and minute hands to an observer by the substantially non-contrasting background of the dial so that the contrasting components on the end portions of the hands which indicate the time appear to be suspended in space.
