Microphone holder

Description

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a microphone holder in accordance with my new design;

FIG. 2 is a right side elevation view of the microphone holder shown in FIG. 1, the left side, not shown, being a mirror image thereof;

FIG. 3 is a rear perspective view of the microphone holder shown in FIG. 1; and

FIG. 4 is a top plan view of the microphone holder shown in FIG. 1.

Referring to FIG. 1, a microphone holder is shown to include a body, two mounting strips, and a pad. The body is of thin trapezoidal shape having a beveled slot extending axially into the narrowest of the sides. The beveled slot is of such dimensions as to permit the insertion of a microphone button therein. The distal third of the body is bent at an obtuse angle forming a base. Mounting of the base is facilitated by adhesive backed resilient material disposed on the bottom of the base. The pad is a strip of foam rubber, or other resilient material, disposed substantially along the minor axis of the body forming a cushion for the microphone.
