FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the lamp base showing my new design;

FIG. 2 is a right side elevational view thereof on an enlarged scale;

FIG. 3 is an end elevational view thereof on an enlarged scale;

FIG. 4 is an opposite end elevational view thereof on an enlarged scale; and

FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a second embodiment of my new design, this embodiment being identical to the first except for the omission of the lighting fixture stanchion.
