FIG. 5 is an end elevation thereof;
FIG. 6 is an elevation as seen from the opposite end of FIG. 5;
FIG. 7 is a bottom plan view thereof;
FIG. 8 is a side elevation of the handset separately shown for clarity of illustration;

FIG. 10 is an end elevation thereof, the undisclosed opposite end being a mirror image of the end portion shown except for the absence of the cord egress hole;
FIG. 11 is a top front perspective view of a second embodiment thereof with the handset lifted above the base wherein the invention is embodied in a telephone housing; and
FIG. 12 is a front elevation of the second embodiment thereof; the other views of which correspond to the views of the first embodiment except as the absence of features in the central portion of the telephone base.
