FIG. 1 is a front perspective view of a hinge element for chairs or the like showing my new design;

FIG. 2 is a top plan view thereof, the bottom being a mirror image;

FIG. 3 is a front elevational view thereof, the rear being flat and unornamented;

FIG. 4 is a left end elevational view thereof, the right being a mirror image.
